Hey all! What this, another update after the last one? No, I'm not going back to weekly. I got this chapter done during that long month downtime I had. But this duel...is really gonna be special. Why? Well, you'll see. So enjoy!
The night fell on Central. At the Red dorm, Jaden and Syrus were remaking their decks for their upcoming duels. Sheppard had chosen their opponents. Jaden was dueling Reggie and Syrus was dueling Jesse Anderson. Amelia was against Aster while Sartorius had gotten Jim.
They were interrupted from their work, hearing the sounds of a helicopter.
Putting their deck building on hold, the pair headed out to see what was going on. They saw the rest of the Red Dorm out too.
"What's up?"
"There's a helicopter landing at the docks. We just saw Pegasus sprinting down there. He looked mighty excited." James commented.
That had Jaden curious. He began his trip down, looking at the rest.
"I'm going down there to see what the hubub is all about. Anyone else want to join?"
As one, they all nodded, heading to the docks.
EODGX
Chumley stepped out of the helicopter as it powered down. He looked out at the school, a nostalgic smile on his face. In his left hand was a large case. While Pegasus was at the GenX Tournament, their workers had found the Rainbow Dragon. Excited at the find, he had called his boss and informed him of the discovery.
The man quickly got excited at the news.
Using a solid light holographic image of the tablet as well as a specially made duel disk, the maker of Duel Monsters was able to create the card. Now he was here to deliver the card to Anderson as well as cards for Jaden.
Sadly, his nostalgia soon turned to anger. He felt helpless about what was going on at his old school. The theft of Yugi Muto's deck and the Winged Dragon of Ra copy. All roads leading to the SoL.
It was a mess and he was unable to do anything about it.
He reached the dock and saw the entire Red Dorm had shown up.
"Jaden! Syrus! Chazz!" He shouted, waving over.
"No way. Chumley?" Chazz said, a smile on his face. "Man, its been ages!"
The portly man smiled at the sight of the Red Dorm. He hugged Syrus and Jaden, shaking hands with everyone else. Harry asked what he was doing at the school again. Here, Chumley held up the case.
"Got a delivery to two people. The first is to Jaden. I know I talked about that spell card for your new fusion, but Pegasus had an idea and well, I ran with it. Here."
He set the case down and opened it up. Everyone saw several cards inside, Jaden kneeling down to inspect. He saw Armtyile, and the spell, but next to them were several monster, spells, and trap cards. As he read the effects, he could see his brows vanishing into his hairline.
"Chumley...these cards...if played right could make my Sacred Beasts almost at the same level of Yugi's deck!"
"I knew you'd like em! Like I said, Pegasus was inspired and I couldn't really refuse." Chumley said, laughing.
Jaden gladly took the cards, planning to make a deck. At that time, the turquoise hair of Jesse Anderson was seen, along with Pegasus. Pegasus smiled at Chumley who smiled back.
"Chumley boy! Did you bring them?" Pegasus asked, excited.
Chumley nodded. He had already given Jaden his new cards along with the completed fusion and spell card. He pulled out the card from the case and held it out. Jesse gingerly took the card, a megawatt smile on his face. Syrus frowned.
Now he needed to adjust his deck...or maybe...
He thought of the Cyberdarks. He nodded. They were his best chance against Jesse. Steeled with a resolve, he hurried back to the dorm. Jaden watched him go, turning to Chumley.
"I know you missed a lot, but why not stick around? Quarter finals are gonna be a blast."
Here, Chumley smirked.
"I'll take you up on that offer, Jaden."
EODGX
The next day dawned bright and clear. The two duels of the day was posted.
Jesse vs Syrus.
Sartorius vs Jim.
Jaden joined the Central Top and GX Crew, watching with a frown. Mindy, Jasmine, Fonda, and Alexis sat next to him, Alexis wrapping an arm around his. She caught him frowning.
"You okay?"
"Just nervous for Sy. Jesse got Rainbow Dragon which completes his deck...so I am a tad worried for him."
"From what I understand, Syrus made a second deck did he not?" Bastion asked, looking at the king.
Jaden nodded, stating it was the Cyberdarks. That caught everyone off guard. The boy was going to use it and power bond in this duel.
Syrus walked out, a determined expression on his face. Jesse stepped out at the same time, eager and excited to test out his deck. The pair met on the arena, heading to the middle. The referee nodded silently.
They handed over their decks and shuffled, Jesse frowning.
"Hey, Syrus right? ya okay?"
"Never better. Look...I know you want to have a fun duel...but you've seen what we're dealin' with. I'm sorry...but I intend this win this duel. The SoL must be stopped." Syrus said, his tone unwavering.
Jesse's mouth became a thin line. He had seen what Central was dealing with, having lost some members of his school to them. They got them back, but it had left them scarred. Jesse knew that not all duels were fun; he had seen the duel with Zane and knew that some duels had to be taken seriously. Syrus was not going to back down on this.
Jesse simply handed over the shuffled deck, Syrus doing the same. They took up their places.
"Red Corner, are you ready?"
"Ready and willing!" Jesse shouted.
"Blue Corner?"
"Ready as I'll ever be." Syrus stated.
"Then...DUEL!"
The pair activated their disks and drew their opening hands.
Jesse: 8000/Syrus: 8000
"I'll start if ya don't mind!" Jesse said, drawing.
He looked over his cards and nodded. He chose one and revealed it to be a spell card.
"I play my spell card, Crystal Tree."
(Crystal Tree – Type/Spell/Continious.
Each time a "Crystal Beast" monster(s) is placed in either player's Spell & Trap Zone, place 1 Crystal Counter on this card. You can send this card to the GY; take a number of "Crystal Beast" monsters from your Deck equal to the number of Crystal Counters that were on this card, and place them face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as Continuous Spells.)
A small tree appeared next to Jesse, the boy then revealing a monster.
"I play my Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus in attack mode!"
(Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus – LV/****, Attribute/WIND, ATK/1800, DEF/1200, Type/Beast/Effect.
When this card is Summoned: You can place 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your hand, Deck, or GY, face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell. If this face-up card is destroyed in a Monster Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell, instead of sending it to the GY.)
Sapphire was a winged horse of legends from Greek Myth. On his wings were two spheres of Sapphire and a horn making him a pegicorn. Syrus couldn't help the quip that came.
"Hey, didn't take you for a My Big Pegasus fan."
Jesse's eyes went wide as Sapphire began to neigh with laughter. In fact all of his duel monster spirits, Rainbow Dragon included!, were laughing hysterically. The teal haired boy grumbled about smart ass shrimps.
"I hate that show. Seriously, you can only take so much of that stuff when you got a four year old sister! Now I'm never gonna live this down!"
Syrus just smirked impishly. A chunk of Cobalt appeared behind Pegasus, the tree growing a crystal. Jesse played a spell then.
"I play Crystal Release and equip it to my Pegasus." Jesse said, smirking.
(Crystal Release – Type/Spell/Equip.
Equip only to a "Crystal Beast" monster. It gains 800 ATK. When this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can place 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your Deck face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell.)
Pegasus – ATK/1800 → 2600
"I'll place this card facedown and end my turn."
Syrus drew his card, on guard. That facedown would be a problem. He looked over his hand. He had two Cyberdarks, Edge and Claw, three spells, and just drawn a field spell. He nodded.
"I'll start by playing my field spell card, Cyberdark Inferno!"
(Cyberdark Inferno – Type/Spell/Field.
"Cyberdark" Effect Monsters you control that are equipped with an Equip Card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects, also your opponent cannot target them with card effects. You can target 1 "Cyberdark" monster you control; return it to the hand, then, immediately after this effect resolves, you can Normal Summon 1 "Cyberdark" monster. You can only use this effect of "Cyberdark Inferno" once per turn. If this card in its owner's control is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can add 1 "Polymerization" Spell or "Fusion" Spell from your Deck to your hand.)
All around the two, a field of fire appeared around them, ghostly images of the Cyberdarks appearing. Syrus smirked.
"Next I use the effect of my Cyberdark Claw! By discarding him, I can gain a Cyberdark spell card." Syrus said, adding a card to his hand. "Now I play Cyberdark Edge in attack mode!"
The monster appeared with a shriek, happy to be with its true chosen. Claw reappeared and Edge gingerly took the monster into its claws, the monster gladly giving its power to its brother.
Edge – ATK/800 → 2400
"Now, thanks to my Edge's effect, he can attack you directly! This triggers my Claw's effect and I send this card from my Extra Deck to the grave." Syrus explained, discarding Cyber End Dragon which confused everyone.
That confusion didn't last long with Jesse speaking up.
"Not so fast! I reveal my trap, Crystal Raigeki!"
(Crystal Raigeki – Type/Trap/Normal.
Send 1 "Crystal Beast" card from your Spell & Trap Zone to the GY, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target.)
"I send my Crystal Beast Colbalt to the grave to destroy your monster."
"Normally, that would work, but with Inferno in play, you can't even target Edge."
Jesse cursed in his head. So the field protected Cyberdarks. But not the Equip...he'd take damage, but it'd be less and he'd weaken the monster. Syrus saw Claw blow up, but he wasn't worried. Edge struck Jesse with its tail.
Jesse: 7600
"Close one..." Jesse said.
"Fraid you're not out of the woods yet, Anderson. I use my Inferno's effect. I return Edge to my hand, only to summon him again."
"Wait, what?!"
Edge reappeared, Claw doing the same and becoming attached. Jesse groaned. That field was more dangerous then he thought! Syrus placed a card facedown and ended his turn.
Jesse drew, seeing it was a monster of his.
"I play Crystal Geode in defense mode!"
(Crystal Geode – LV/*, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/0, DEF/0, Type/Rock/Effect.
When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, Special Summon 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your Hand, Deck, or GY.)
Crystal Geode was a tiny rock with several crystals, each one the color of the rainbow. Jesse ordered an attack with Pegasus, sending him at Edge. Syrus didn't stop the attack, letting it hit.
Syrus: 7800
Jesse frowned. Why did Syrus let the attack hit? He saw why then. Edge was still around, though weakened. Jesse ended his turn, the tiny teen drawing. He saw it was Cyberdark Cannon and used its effect. He gained Cyberdark Horn, summoning it right away. He had it equipped with Claw, its power rising.
Horn – ATK/800 → 2400
Syrus then used Inferno's effect, returning Edge to his hand only to summon it once more, having Cannon equipped.
EODGX
Up in the stands, everyone was watching the duel with interest. When Syrus made his play, an SoL member spoke up.
"Well, what good is that?! Neither of those shrimps cards have enough power to take out that winged horse."
"Yeah!"
But it was Jaden who saw the idea and smiled.
"Let's see if you can pull it off, Sy."
EODGX
Syrus smirked, his plan working so far. He had the means to deal some damage to Jesse and had set things up for his end game. He just needed to keep this up. He ordered an attack with Edge first, using Cannon's effect to send another card from his deck to the grave, a Cyber Dragon.
Jesse felt the tail strike him, making him hiss in pain.
Jesse: 6400
"Alright...Horn, attack Geode!"
The monster charged, Jesse frowning as Syrus sent Cyberdark Dragon to the grave. Why would he do that?
"Well, at least I'll get a Crystal Beast..." Jesse mumbled.
"Along with twenty-four hundred points of damage!" Syrus stated, Jesse's eyes widening.
The larger monster shattered the rock, the chunks of it hitting Jesse.
Jesse: 4000
"That thing has pierce?!" Jesse yelped, Syrus nodding. "Okay, that caught me off guard...but thanks to Geode's effect, I bring out my Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat!"
(Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat – LV/***, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/1200, DEF/400, Type/Beast/Effect.
This card can attack your opponent directly, but when it uses this effect, any battle damage it inflicts to your opponent is halved. If this face-up card is destroyed in a Monster Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell, instead of sending it to the GY.)
A pink furred cat appeared next to Jesse, eyeing Syrus.
"This little guy is more trouble then you thought, huh Jesse?" Cat asked, smirking.
"Yeah, was not expecting him to be this good...but I am REALLY enjoying the duel!" Jesse exclaimed in delight.
"Glad someone is..." Syrus said, a sad smile on his face. "I'll set one card facedown and end my turn."
Jesse drew, looking at his card. Seeing that it was his new ace, his mind went into overdrive. He had Pegasus, Cat on the field, Cobalt in the grave. That was three of seven. He had Tree, but he needed some more counters on it. He looked over his hand, frowning. His eyes caught a spell and smirked.
"I play Crystal Bond!"
(Crystal Bond – Type/Spell/Normal.
Add 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your Deck to your hand, and place 1 "Crystal Beast" monster with a different name from your Deck face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell. You can only activate 1 "Crystal Bond" per turn.)
"I place Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle in my hand and then place Topaz Tiger in my spell and trap card zone." Jesse said, adding the card.
A gem of Topaz appeared, Syrus frowning. Why would he do that? Another counter appeared on the tree, something that had Jesse excited.
"Now I destroy my Crystal tree to place Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise and Amber Mammoth in my S/T zone."
A piece of amber and emerald appeared next to the topaz. Syrus began to get nervous. Jesse was setting something up. Something BIG.
"Alright, Amethyst! Attack Syrus directly!"
"You got it!"
The cat bounded past the two Cyberdarks, Syrus taking a step back.
"And this is why I'm more of a dog person!" He called out, getting scratched by the cat. "Dogs are never pissed off all the time!"
"Well, he's got you pegged, Cat!" Pegasus neighed out in laughter.
Syrus: 7200
"Pegasus, you're up! Attack his Edge once more!"
The horse charged, crashing into Edge. Syrus hissed as Cannon was destroyed.
Syrus: 7000
"You triggered the effect of my Cannon. When he's destroyed, I draw." Syrus said, drawing his card.
"I'll set this card facedown and end my turn. Better make it a good one Syrus! Next round will have you meet my newest pal!"
"Oh boy..." Syrus muttered, drawing his card. He looked at it and saw that it was the exact card he needed! Coupled with his facedown, if Jesse tried anything...but he had to play it smart!
"Alright, I first use Inferno's effect and regain my Edge. Only to play it again!"
Cannon reappeared and Edge took the monster. Syrus wasn't done yet. He revealed a spell card.
"This is Trade-In."
(Trade-In – Type/Spell/Normal.
Discard 1 Level 8 monster; draw 2 cards.)
"I discard my Dragonroid, gaining two more cards. But I'm not stopping there. I play my spell, Tribute to the doomed and discard my Handcuffs dragon. Your pegasus is the target."
The horse was quickly wrapped up in bandages and dragged to the S/T zone as an orb of Sapphire. Syrus then played Cyberdark Keel. Handcuffs dragon appeared and was grabbed by the new monster.
Keel – ATK/800 → 2500
"Oh man! That's a lot of points!" Jesse exclaimed.
"Yep! And your cat is the target!"
"Not so fast! I use my facedown trap, Last Resort!"
(Last Resort – Type/Trap/Normal.
Activate only when your opponent's monster declares an attack. You can select 1 "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" from your Deck and activate it. If your opponent had an active Field Spell Card when this card was activated, they can draw 1 card.)
(Ancient City – Rainbow Ruins – Type/Spell/Field.
You must have this many "Crystal Beast" cards in your Spell & Trap Zone to activate and to resolve these effects.
●1+: This card cannot be destroyed by card effects.
●2+: Once per turn (including the opponent's) you can halve the battle damage you take.
●3+: When a Spell/Trap Card is activated: You can send 1 "Crystal Beast" monster you control to the GY; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.
●4+: Once per turn, during your Main Phase: You can draw 1 card.
●5: Once per turn, during your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Crystal Beast" card in your Spell & Trap Zone; Special Summon that target.)
A city appeared around the pair, the ring of fire still going. Syrus frowned, drawing his card due to Resort's effect. That didn't seem to do anything...did it? Keel blasted Cat into the S/T zone, making him yelp.
"I use my City's effect. The damage I would take is halved."
Jesse: 3350
"What are you planning..." Syrus muttered. "Hm...Edge, Horn, attack!"
"Hold up there! I special summon from my hand, Diamond Golem in defense mode!"
(Diamond Golem – LV/****, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/1900, DEF/2600, Type/Rock/Effect.
When your opponent declares a direct attack, you can special summon this card (from your hand.))
A golem made entirely of diamond appeared, crouching low. Syrus stopped his attack, sighing. He knew that something like this would happen. But he had still needed to try. He looked at his hand. Knowing what was coming, he placed a single card facedown.
He still had his original plan after all.
"I end my turn. Make it count, Jesse. Because next turn...I will show you my full power." Syrus said.
Jesse drew his card, nodding. That was true. Syrus had pushed him like no other duelist had. It was like fighting an up and coming King of the Ring. He smirked.
"I summon Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle in defense mode."
(Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle – LV/***, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/300, DEF/300, Type/Fairy/Effect.
When this card is Special Summoned: You can Special Summon as many "Crystal Beast" Monster Cards as possible from your Spell & Trap Zones. If this face-up card is destroyed in a Monster Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell, instead of sending it to the GY. )
Ruby was a tiny purple cat like creature with a tail that ended with a sphere of ruby and a orb on her head. She knelt down, mewing. She glowed brightly, the same glow coming from Jesse's grave and the five crystal beasts in his S/T zone.
"I've assembled all seven legendary gems...and with their power, I release from his prison, Rainbow Dragon!"
(Rainbow Dragon – LV/**********, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/4000, DEF/0, Type/Dragon/Effect.
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having 7 "Crystal Beast" cards with different names on your field and/or GY. This card cannot activate the following effects the turn it is Special Summoned. (Quick Effect): You can send all "Crystal Beast" monsters you control to the GY; this card gains 1000 ATK for each monster sent to the GY. You can banish all "Crystal Beast" monsters from your GY; shuffle all cards on the field into the Deck.)
Rainbow Dragon lived up to its name. Its scales were a pure white, an orb of a different color on its sides. It's wings unfurled, showing that they were much larger then everyone could believe.
Syrus smiled.
"Congrats on both completing your Crystal Beast deck and summoning out Rainbow Dragon."
"Yeah, it's such a great feelin'! Shame I gotta end it..."
"Not so fast there, Jesse! I use one of my two facedown trap card, Threatening roar!"
A roar erupted from from the card, pausing Rainbow in its tracks. Jesse groaned at the trap. He was so close to letting his dragon loose! He ended his turn, Syrus drawing.
Looking at his hand, Syrus nodded. He revealed a card oin his hand. Jesse groaned. It was Shield Crash, destroying his Golem. Syrus chose another card, revealing it to be one of his monsters.
"This is Cyber Kirin. I'll summon him and then use his effect. Now any effect damage done to me becomes zero. Now...let me bring out the full power of the Cyber Dragon and Cyberdarks! I play Power Bond!"
Syrus revealed the spell card, before smirking.
"Whoops! I forgot! I need help from another spell card, Cybernetic Fusion Support! By cutting my life points down in half, I can fuse cards that are even in the Grave." Syrus said, smirking. "So I fuse Cyberdark Dragon with my Cyber End Dragon!"
Syrus: 3500
"HE'S WHAT?!" Everyone cried out in shock.
(Cyberdark End Dragon – LV/************, Attribute/DARK, ATK/5000, DEF/3800, Type/Machine/Fusion/Effect.
"Cyberdark Dragon" + "Cyber End Dragon"
Must be either Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned by Tributing 1 Level 10 or lower "Cyberdark" Fusion Monster equipped with "Cyber End Dragon". Unaffected by your opponent's activated effects. Once per turn: You can equip 1 monster from either GY to this card. This card can attack a number of times each Battle Phase, up to the number of Equip Cards equipped to it.)
Both Cyberdark and Cyber End Dragon appeared next to Syrus. They combined together, roaring. The main body of Cyber End became attached to the body of Cyberdark Dragon, its cables linking to Cyber End. Both wings and tails of the monsters coiled around one another, screeching.
Jesse whistled.
"That is one powerful beast." Jesse said, shocked.
"Oh, it gets better. Thanks to Powerbond, my dragon's power is doubled!"
Cyberdark End – ATK/5000 → 10000
"Okay...Jesse, you need a plan NOW! Otherwise, Rainbow is gonna get creamed!" Cat whispered, making Jesse nod.
"I use my Cyberdark End's effect. Once a turn, I can equip a card from either grave to him. I'm sorry for this, but I choose your Cobalt Eagle that is in your grave."
The winged monster appeared in the clutches of the twin monster. Jesse frowned, but didn't see a power up from it. So why play it then? Syrus smirked.
"Jesse, I'm glad you and your school came to partake in the GenX tournament...but I plan on being part of the Final four! So get ready! I'm coming at you with everything I got! Cyberdark End Dragon! Attack with Strident Inferno Blaze! Your target is the Rainbow Dragon!"
The dragon roared, all four heads charging their attack. From the Cyber End part, all three heads let loose the signature Super Stridant Blaze. From Cyberdark, its maw let loose black energy. The four beams merged, the pure white of the Super Stridant Blaze swirling around the black.
Jesse smirked.
"Sorry to burst yer bubble Sy, but I use my Rainbow Dragon's special ability! By sending a number of Crystal Beasts from my field to the Grave, I can increase my Rainbow Dragon's attack power by one thousand! So I send Cat, Pegasus, Tortise, Mammoth, Ruby, and finally, Tiger to my grave! Rainbow Overdrive!"
The six chosen monsters became beams of light, each one entering Rainbow Dragon, lighting up its respective gems.
Rainbow – ATK/4000 + 6000 → 10000
"Rainbow Dragon, counter attack! Rainbow Refraction!"
Rainbow's maw opened up, a circle of rainbows escaping. From its mouth, the energy erupted, bathing everyone in the colors of the rainbow. The two attacks clashed, pushing back against one another.
All around everyone watched with growing excitement. This was a duel for the books! The legendary Rainbow Dragon against a new beast! They didn't see Syrus smirk or activate a trap card.
The two attacks canceled out one another in an explosion that shook the arena and island. Smoke and dust covered the pair, Jesse covering his face.
"What happened?!"
"Did they destroy one another?!"
Jesse heard the questions around him...and a dinging from his disk. He looked down, seeing a single word on his disk.
'DRAW CARD'
Confused, he did so. He looked up to see Syrus standing in the clearing smoke.
"So...was yer Cyberdark's effect to give me a card if its destroyed?" Jesse asked.
Here, Syrus smirked.
"Nope. That was the effect of my Cyber Repairer. Thanks to this trap, my Machines aren't destroyed in battle."
"Say what?!" Jesse yelped in shock.
A roar made him look up. He saw Cyberdark End rise out of the smoke, its eyes glowing. Syrus sighed, but still smiled.
"Jesse, I am honored that you summoned out Rainbow Dragon in this duel. I hope you felt honored by me summoning out my Cyberdark End." Syrus stated, bowing to Jesse.
"Course I do! A monster like that...never thought I could ever see it. But why you saying that? Surely you can't attack." Jesse stated, confused, but returning the bow.
Syrus laughed. After he got done laughing, he explained. Cyberdark End, in addition to his normal attack, could attack as many times as there were equip cards to him. Hearing that made Jesse and North all groan.
"Shoot! You had a good plan there, Sy! Alright, I'm wide open! GIVE IT YER ALL!"
Syrus smiled, nodding. He pointed at Jesse.
"Cyberdark End! Attack once more with Inferno Blaze!"
The monster roared, sending its attack directly at Jesse. The boy watched the attack grow, but didn't stop smiling. The duel was tense, but fun. He felt the blast hit him and he skidded a bit.
Jesse: 0
"I gave it my all...but you played better." Jesse said, watching the beast vanish. "And I got to see Rainbow Dragon in action!"
"Yeah. That was awesome!"
Everyone, save the SoL, clapped for the two duelists, Jesse smirking. The pair left the arena, allowing for Amelia and Aster to take the stage.
As the pair set down, Jaden turned to them.
"Great duel, the both of you! Sy? Cyberdark End...did that-?"
"It appeared in front of me when I took the deck from Zane several days ago. Said it was the one he was waiting for."
That made Jaden nod.
An explosion made everyone turn back to the duel, only to see Amelia with no life points and on her back, confused and bewildered. Aster walked away.
"The Light has no need for you any more." Aster stated snidely.
Seems Sartorius no longer needed pawns.
Ouch! Looks like Aster is becoming nastier and nastier! But what could this mean for our heroes? Stay tuned~.
