Hello and Greetings. I know, I know, I've been quiet for a LOT longer then usual. Several reasons; new console, Helldivers 2, Modern Warfare III Zombies mode, and ARK Ascended. The final reason was the headache that is writers inspiration for this chapter and how to best use Yugi's deck in this duel.

We only saw Yugi's deck ONCE in GX (well, technically twice if you watched the Japanese with English Sub) but the duels in question had victory in one and an unknown result in the other. So working out how to make the deck of the King of Games work was really puzzling to me.

Sadly, the second part is proving to be just as annoying as the first part so that chapter may be a while as well. But thank you all for your patience in me getting these chapters out.

The air in Central was stifling. During the hour of lunch, everyone's eyes were glued to the two finalists. Jaden and Sartorius. Both were reworking their decks. Sartorius merely had his original deck box out to fool everyone.

But away from prying eyes, he was working on the King's deck. He had tricked everyone, even using the same deck box for his Arcana.

There wasn't much he was changing to the deck itself. What Sartorius was actually doing was adding in a couple of the new field spell Franz had given him before he was captured by the DAS. His aura was out though not enough to be sensed even by the King. What the Light was doing was putting all of its power into the deck to mask the Fake Ra's power. Wouldn't do if the King could sense it.

Not far away, Jaden was reworking his HERO Deck to include the new cards from Chumley and the Sacred Beasts. Like before, he needed them to defeat the Light of Ruin. Adding in all of the Wicked Gods was tempting, but too risky. He needed to get the Divine cards he's picked out fast. His HEROes were good, but even that was a bit of a struggle. No, he needed the Sacred Beasts in.

That said though, having ONE of the Wicked Gods would be a smart plan on his part. The choice was easy; Eraser. Its effect to cleanse the field was a potent one.

Jaden was operating on the assumption that Sartorius had the King of Games deck and the copy of Ra. Normally, Ava would be perfect, but Jaden was going with the assumption that Sartorius was planning for that. He also needed to keep his high level monsters to a minimum of four. He finished putting his cards together and finished off his meal.

Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy had been by, but given Sartorius' proximity, they kept their distance. Seeing Jaden leave had the trio get up to meet him. They exited the cafeteria and grabbed his shoulders. With Mindy and Jasmine keeping a lookout, Alexis gave Jaden the kiss to end all kisses in their budding relationship.

Alexis's tongue snaked out, brushing against his lips. He opened his mouth, her tongue shooting in. But Jaden did not let her easily win. His own coiled around hers, making her freeze. That was his chance to push back and explore her mouth. Alexis recovered and tried to return the favor, but soon gave up and just enjoyed her boyfriend's mouth.

But all too soon came the need to breathe. Once they parted for air, panting, Jaden looked at Alexis.

"Thanks...I needed that."

"No problem, Jaden. I...I know what Aster said wasn't true, but I wanted to assure you..."

"Lex...its fine..." Jaden said, blushing a bit.

"Just...beat him...and maybe this summer we can visit you for a...surprise." Alexis said, blushing as well.

"I would like that, Lex." Jaden said, smiling.

Jasmine and Mindy both poked their heads in then.

"If you two lovebirds are done, we're heading back to the arena." Jasmine reported.

"Kick his ass, Jaden. Show what it means to rile the King."

Both women left. Jaden looked to Alexis and offered her his arm.

"Allow me to escort you to your seat, milady."

Giggling, the blonde took the offered arm. The two walked out. Turning a corner, they were met with morose Aster Phoenix. Seeing the pair, Aster stood up straighter. A glare was sent at him, which made him flinch some. He lowered his head.

"Miss Rhodes, Mister Yuki. I have come to apologize for my actions before, during and after my time with...the cult. I have caused irreparable damage to relationship and your reputations, especially yours, Miss Rhodes. At no time did I take advantage of you sexually. I did, sadly, take advantage of you whenever your boyfriend was around. For that I apologize. I do not expect your forgiveness nor am I worthy of it." Aster said, turning to Alexis.

"...Phoenix." Jaden began only for Aster to hold a hand up to stall him.

"Mister Yuki, please...I need to do this. Not as a publicity stunt, but because I genuinely feel disgusted at how I acted and spoke. I pride myself as a gentleman, but what I said and did...I'm sure if my father was around, he'd box my ears. As for what I did before with you in our duel, I acted like a child, a spoiled brat when it came to you. I can only humbly offer my apologies to both you and your girlfriend for the damage I did to your relationship." Aster stated, looking at the king. "I let Sartorius manipulate me...though that does not excuse me at all..."

The teen looked at them sheepishly then.

"I...rambled there didn't I?" He asked.

"Kinda did." Alexis said, her voice chilly. "I won't forgive you for what you have done to me...until you prove yourself."

Aster nodded, accepting what the woman before him had said. Jaden merely sighed.

"Aster. It's true...I cannot forgive you for what you did to me, not right away. But I can tell you this. Sartorius himself is being manipulated by another. I'm sure you noticed how different he has been." Jaden stated, Aster nodding.

"I have...he and I were childhood friends before he moved on with his family. He was kinder and willing to help out others not...not this. I do have information for you. The King of Games deck is with the SoL..."

"We figured on that." Alexis said, nodding. "We also know that he has a copy of the Winged Dragon of Ra, one of the most powerful of the God cards."

"I'm...quite eager to see how I stack up against the deck." Jaden stated, making Aster chuckle.

If he were in the King's shoes, he would be feeling the same kind of excitement. He bowed to the two, heading to the arena. The couple looked at one another.

"So...death bed or when he's old and grey to forgive him?" Alexis asked.

"Let's see what life has in store for us first, Lexi." Jaden stated, looking at her. "Then we can decide if we forgive him or not."

The two walked off to the arena, chatting and laughing. It was the calm before the storm.

EODGX

Sartorius stood in the doorway leading to the arena, his deck and disk in hand. His eyes told him that the groups had been separated into their little cliques again. The SoL with the SoL and the EoD with the EoD. Even Aster was sitting with them!

He buried the feelings of rage and focused on the duel before him. He knew that this duel would be for the Good of the Light. The King's loss would allow him to ascend and do what he could without the use of the SORA satellite. Destroy all life that was not of the Light. He looked up, seeing the King walking up.

Sartorius began to do the same. Both walked up the steps onto the arena, heading for the center. The referee stood ready.

"Duelists! Present your decks!" He called out.

The two took their decks out of the boxes and handed them over. Jaden began to shuffle, trying to get a sense on the cards. Sadly, the Light had completely covered the deck, making it impossible for him to sense anything. He couldn't even sense Ra for pete's sake and that monster would be a bloody beacon! They shuffled the cards, cutting them and handing them back to the owners. Both turned away from one another and headed to their corners. Once they were in them, the ref raised his flags.

"I expect a clean game from the both of you. Blue corner, are you ready?!" The Ref shouted.

"Yes." Sartorius hissed.

"Red corner?"

"Ready to duel." Jaden stated.

Both slotted their decks in, deployed their disks, and drew their opening hands. One cry went out from the pair.

"DUEL!"

Jaden: 8000/Sartorius: 8000

"I will begin if you do not mind." Sartorius stated, drawing.

Looking over his hand, he selected one card. Laying it in facedown defense mode, Sartorius played two cards facedown, ending his turn. Jaden drew, wondering what brought about the defense play? He ignored it, summoning out Sparkman.

"Sparks, attack that facedown monster!"

Sparkman charged up an attack, sending it at the facedown. The card flipped up to reveal a pink monster with two rosy cheeks on it. Jaden's eyes went wide at seeing the blank expression on the monster's face. The ball of lightning struck, but the monster didn't seem affected.

(Marshmallon – LV/***, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/300, DEF/500, Type/Fairy/Effect.

Cannot be destroyed by battle. After damage calculation, if this card was attacked, and was face-down at the start of the Damage Step: The attacking player takes 1000 damage.)

Several tiny blobs shot off it, all gaining teeth and chomping at Jaden making him hiss.

"That's Marshmallon..." Jaden breathed, hearing his life counter drop.

Jaden: 7000

Jaden placed a card facedown and ended his turn. Sartorius was up to something...question was what? Sartorius drew, smiling.

"I tribute my Marshmallon for Befromet."

A winged four armed horned monster appeared in Marshmallon's place. The monster roared.

(Befromet – LV/*****, Attribute/DARK, ATK/1400, DEF/1500, Type/Fiend/Effect. When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned: You can add 1 "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" from your Deck to your hand.)

Jaden frowned; Why summon that monster? It's points were lower then Sparkman's. A card glowed in Sartorius' deck and slid out. He added it to his hand. Then one of the facedowns revealed itself.

"Polymerization. I fuse the Gazelle I added to my hand to Beformet. Arise, Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast!"

(Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast – LV/******, Attribute/WIND, ATK/2100, DEF/1800, Type/Beast/Fusion/Effect.

"Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" + "Berfomet"
(This card is always treated as a "Phantom Beast" card.)
When this card is destroyed: You can target 1 "Berfomet" or 1 "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" in your GY; Special Summon that target.)

A winged, two headed monster appeared next to Sartorius. It had the body of a lion, a snake for a tail, and a head of goat next to the head of a lion. It roared, Jaden frowning. Sartorius smirked, ordering an attack.

The more massive monster pounced on Sparkman. Jaden covered his face as fragments of Sparkman's armor hit him.

Jaden: 6500

"I will place one card facedown and end my turn." Sartorius stated, the card appearing behind Chimera and next to the other facedown.

Jaden drew his card, looking over his hand. It wasn't looking too good. He had the new spell Chumley made, but none of the Sacred Beasts yet. He had two HEROes, but they were high level. Two traps were in his hand. That just left the card he drew. Looking at it revealed Bubbleman.

"I summon Bubbleman in defense mode! Thanks to him being the only monster, I draw another two cards!" Jaden declared, drawing.

Looking at the new cards, Jaden smirked. Dark Fusion was one of them! Combined with his three heroes...yes, he had the means to stall at least for a while.

"I use Dark Fusion. I fuse my Elemental HERO Bladedge, Neos, and Necroshade together! Heroes of Cosmic, Earth, and Shadow, combine! Become a nightmare to all! I fusion summon...EVIL HERO NIGHTMARE!

(Evil HERO Nightmare – LV/********, Attribute/DARK, ATK/?, DEF/?, Type/Fiend/Fusion/Effect.

2+ HERO monsters

Must be Fusion Summoned with 'Dark Fusion'. Gains ATK/DEF equal to the combined original Levels of the materials used for its Fusion Summon x 300. When this card destroys a monster in battle, select 1 of the Fusion material monsters in the GY OR Removed from play; Special Summon it, ignoring any Summoning conditions it has. When this card leaves the field, add 1 'HERO' card OR a card that lists 'Raviel, Lord of Phantasms', 'Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder' or 'Uria, Lord of Searing Flames' from your deck to your hand.)

Nightmare looked like an amgamation of Evil HERO Inferno Wing, Lightning Golem, and Dark Gaia. Its wings were Dark Gaia's, with the body of Lightning Golem while wearing the armor of Inferno Wing. It snarled, looking at Chimera.

"Nightmare's attack power is the sum total of the levels used to fuse him times three hundred. Neos and Bladedge had seven stars while Necro had five. That's nineteen in total."

Nightmare – ATK & DEF/19 * 300 → 5700

"Nice! That monster is stronger then Chimera!" Syrus pointed out.

"Yes, but Jaden won't attack." Bastion stated, making everyone look at him. "That facedown could be Magical Cylinder. A nasty trap."

"I remember. It redirects the attack to Jaden and deals damage equal to its attack." Mindy groaned out.

"And if that is the deck we all think it is...but wait, wouldn't Dark Fusion negate its effect?" Fiona stated.

"It would not stop the attack, true, but the effect damage would be a different story. And with him down fifteen hundred already, it might be safer to end." Miles pointed out.

"I'll end." Jaden interrupted them.

Sartorius scowled, drawing. He had expected Jaden to attack, banking on Dark Fusion's effect. But the boy clearly thought that his facedown was one that could get around its magic and harm him. It was, but the boy hadn't taken the bait. He looked at the card, frowning. It wasn't the one he needed, but that was fine. He set the monster facedown, switching Chimera to defense mode. He set another card facedown, ending his turn.

Jaden drew, looking at his card. He saw that it was one of the Sacred Beasts, but had no means to summon it, yet. He looked over his hand, frowning. He had a few spells, the Beast, and a trap. He placed the trap facedown, ending his turn.

Sartorius drew again, frowning. The boy was overly cautious. Looking at the card, he revealed it.

"Pot of Greed allows me to draw two cards." Sartorius stated, drawing the two cards. He looked at one of them and smirked.

"I banish both Beformet and Marshmallon from my graveyard."

"SHIT!" Jaden swore, getting ready.

"Okay, what's got him riled up?" Mindy asked.

Ronald frowned, looking like he was recalling something. Then it clicked. The Envoys! That had everyone turn to him. Everyone knew about Chaos Emperor Dragon – Envoy of the End. It was a card used by Seto Kaiba at the KC Grand Championship nearly a decade ago.

"But there was a second one. Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. Sally has one as you all recall. Well, it was deemed too powerful and production was stopped making it really rare to get, something Sally is considered lucky to have. There was rumors that Yugi had a copy of the card, but it was never shown...until now!"

Everyone's attention was brought back to the duel at Sartorius's voice.

"I summon Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning!"

(Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning – LV/********, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/3000, DEF/2500, Type/Warrior/Effect.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your GY. Once per turn, you can activate 1 of these effects.
●Target 1 monster on the field; banish it. This card cannot attack the turn this effect is activated.
●If this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: It can make a second attack in a row.)

A man in ebony and gold armor appeared, holding a sword and shield. His eyes were blanked over. That made Jaden snarl. He knew that Sartorius was gonna use its removal effect.

"I switch my Chimera to attack mode and then use my Soldier's effect. Say good bye to your nightmare."

The monster's sword cut open a portal. Winds began to drag Nightmare to it. But before it could be sucked in, a card glowed in Jaden's deck. He grabbed it just as Nightmare was pulled in.

"When Nightmare leaves the field, I'm allowed to add a HERO card from my deck to my hand." Jaden said, not mentioning that he could add a Sacred Beast or card that mentioned them. He had chosen one of the support cards, knowing it was going to be needed. Sartorius ignored it, ordering Chimera to attack Bubbleman. Before it could hit, a barrier appeared in front of the hero.

"Hero Barrier. This trap stops your attack dead."

Sartorius frowned, but ended his turn. Jaden drew, looking at the card. Seeing it was a spell, he smirked. This actually would help him greatly.

"I use Monster Recovery and send Bubbleman back to my deck. I also return this card back as well." Jaden said, adding one card from his hand to his deck.

(Monster Recovery – Type/Spell/Quick-Play.

Target 1 monster you control that is owned by you; if that monster is still on the field, shuffle it and your entire hand into the Deck, also, after that, draw cards equal to the number of cards you shuffled from your hand into the Deck by this effect. (You cannot activate this card if you have a card in your hand that is owned by your opponent.)

He shuffled the deck several times, slotting it back in. He drew two cards, looking at them. He saw he had gotten Hamon...and the perfect card to get more!

"I use the spell, Spellbook inside the pot! True, you get to draw three cards too, but this will help me." Jaden said, drawing the three. Looking over the cards, he saw he got another two spells and the perfect defense against that effect of Envoy!

"I play Swords of Revealing Light and place two cards facedown." Jaden said. "Your move."

Sartorius drew, feeling a surge of power. He looked down and frowned. It was not Ra like he was expecting, but a potent monster all the same. He added the card to his hand, then activated a card effect in his hand.

"I send Alpha, Beta, and Gamma the magnet warriors to the grave. Arise...Valkyrion the Magna Warrior!"

(Valkyrion the Magna Warrior – LV/********, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/3500, DEF/3850, Type/Rock/Effect.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Alpha The Magnet Warrior", "Beta The Magnet Warrior", and "Gamma The Magnet Warrior" from your hand and/or field. You can Tribute this card, then target 1 "Alpha The Magnet Warrior", "Beta The Magnet Warrior", and "Gamma The Magnet Warrior" in your GY; Special Summon them.)

A monster made up of several magnets appeared, carrying a sword. It's visor glowed white for a moment before it returned to its normal emerald green. Sartorius smirked, placing a few cards facedown. Ending his turn, he looked at Jaden.

The King wordlessly drew. Seeing it was Bubbleman again, he summoned the monster, drawing. He had what he needed.

"I place two cards facedown, then send the two facedown spells and Swords to the grave. Arise! Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder! Attack mode!"

The massive monster appeared in a clap of thunder and shattering crystal. Once the card was in place, he activated of the the facedowns he played. The spell card was revealed to be Cerulean Skyfire. Sartorius was confused; why would the boy do that? Then came the shock.

"Hamon! Attack! Destroy Envoy of the Beginning!"

"Reveal facedown trap, Magical Cylinder." Sartorius calmly said, revealing the facedown.

(Magic Cylinder – Type/Trap/Normal.

When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Target the attacking monster; negate the attack, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK.)

"You think you got me? You forget Cerluean Skyfire is in play! I use its effect, negating your card's effect and destroying it! Then it forces my Hamon into defense mode!"

"So Jaden did that to further protect not only himself, but his monsters too." Maurice stated.

"And Sartorius fell for it." Chazz boasted.

Jaden ended his turn, staring at the man. The man drew his card, looking at Enovy.

"I use Envoy's effect to banish that eyesore of yours."

"Not so fast. I reveal my facedown trap, Imperial Iron Wall!"

(Imperial Iron Wall – Type/Trap/Continious.

Neither Player can banish cards.)

The cut was sealed away by the rising of an iron wall. Sartorius snarled, seeing that he did not have a destruction spell, yet. He ended his turn, knowing any attack would do damage to him instead. Jaden drew, looking at his hand. He revealed it, E-Emergency Call. He gained Avian and then activated Dark Calling.

"I Fuse Avian with Bubbleman. Meet Evil HERO Tidal Surge!"

(Tidal Surge – LV/*****, Attribute/WATER, ATK/1400, DEF/1000, Type/Fiend/Fusion/Effect.

"Elemental HERO Avian" + "Elemental HERO Bubbleman"

Must be Fusion Summoned with "Dark Fusion" and cannot be summoned any other way. If you control a facedown card, this card gains 1000 points. While you have any face-down cards in your Spell & Trap card zones, this card can attack directly.)

Tidal appeared with a roar, holding a pair of chained tridants to his arms. His skin was a dark gray, hair jet black. His eyes glowed yellow behind his mask, a mask that looked eerily like the Leviathan of Old lighting the orbs up. He wore ripped pants and stood ready. Jaden smirked, setting a monster and playing the new Fusion spell facedown.

"Tidal...ATTACK SARTORIUS DIRECTLY!" Jaden commanded.

The monster roared, charging forward. The two tridents crackled with energy. The monster launched them at Sartorius, the man gasping as they struck.

Sartorius: 8000 → 5600

"Huh? How did-?" Bonnie started to ask when Professor Sweet spoke up.

"Tidal Surge is the counterpart to Mariner. Unlike Mariner though, Tidal gains a thousand points if there is a facedown card, be it spell, trap, or monster."

Everyone ah'd in understanding before returning to the duel. Jaden had ended his turn, Sartorius drawing. He looked at the card, seeing it was a Terraforming spell. He played it right away, adding the special Field card to his hand.

"I play Mound of the Bound Creator!"

At hearing the name, Pegasus gasped. Kaiba looked at him, confusion and concern on his face.

"That is the card Franz made to bind a duel monster spirit!" Pegasus stated, making Kaiba's face pale.

(Mound of the Bound Creator – Type/Field/Spell.

Level 10 or higher monsters on your side of the field cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. If a Level 10 or higher monster you control destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the GY: The player who controlled the destroyed monster takes 1000 damage. When this card on the field is destroyed by card effect and sent to the GY: You can add 1 DIVINE monster from your Deck to your hand.)

Around the pair, stone pillars appeared with various chains linking them. The sky became black with bolts of lightning hitting every which way. Jaden scowled, seeing the chains come to life. But when they did not find what they were looking for, they became inert again. Jaden wondered what the field was for, seeing Sartorius place a card facedown. The man ended his turn then.

Jaden drew, only for Sartorius to reveal a facedown, Spellbinding Circle. It appeared around Hamon, which made Jaden roll his eyes.

"You do realize that by playing that trap, you can only attack Hamon now right?"

"Jaden's right. He'd have been better off going after Tidal Surge." Jason commented, rubbing his beard.

Sartorius didn't reply. Jaden shrugged it off, looking over his hand. He ordered an attack with Tidal Surge, the monster striking true. But Sartorius merely smirked.

"I use the effect of Kuriboh. By discarding this card, all damage is negated." Sartorius stated.

Jaden scowled, playing Stratos from his hand. He added a new Evil HERO to his hand, placing a card facedown and ending his turn. Sartorius drew, seeing that the card he had gained was Yugi's signature monster. He added the card to his hand, then revealed a spell.

"I play Slight of Hand."

(Slight of Hand – Type/Spell/Normal.

Discard 1 card from your hand; add 1 monster from your deck to your hand. Then, if there is 1 Spellcaster-Type monster in your GY, Special Summon it. If the summoned monster's name is 'Dark Magician', destroy all face-down spell and traps on your opponent's side of the field.)

Sartorius discarded a card from his hand. Another card slid out of his deck. Adding it had him gain a maniacal smirk. Jaden went on guard then. Whatever Sartorius added was NOT good for him. Then a box appeared. Jaden was reminded of the old saw a person in half trick with the box. It opened and a shadow flew out.

Everyone gasped at what they saw.

"Its Dark Magician!" Syrus shouted, DMG joining him with a frown.

"Wait...look at his eyes. The Light has corrupted him." DMG whispered sadly, not wanting to draw attention to herself.

Jaden scowled, seeing the monster descend, arms crossed. Then several daggers appeared in the mage's hand. The daggers flew true, destroying all of the facedown cards Jaden had. He grimaced, seeing the traps gone. Thankfully, he still had Imperial in play.

"Now, I play the spell card, Spell Book of Forbidden Arts!"

(Spell Book of Forbidden Arts – Type/Spell/Normal.

Activate if you control "Dark Magician" OR "Dark Magician Girl". Increase their ATK by 2000. The selected monster cannot attack directly or deal damage to your opponent's Life Points.)

"Thanks to this spell, Dark Magician's attack power is greater then Hamons. Go! Dark Magic attack!"

DM – ATK/2500 → 4500

The orb of green energy shot out of the staff, striking Hamon. Jaden covered his face, frowning. That was Sartorius went on the offense. Tidal was wiped out by Envoy of the beginning, but no damage came to Jaden. Pieces of Hamon floated up, blocking the strikes.

"You forget that when Hamon is destroyed, I take no damage for the rest of the turn."

"That may be, but clearing your field is still a good bonus." Sartorius snapped back, Envoy wiping out Stratos.

Sartorius placed a card facedown, ending his turn. Jaden drew, using Skyfire's power to revive his Hamon in attack mode. The spell he had discarded was not helpful at the time.

"Hamon! Attack with Cerulean Skyfire! Destroy the Dark Magician!"

The monster screeched, blasting away the mage. Sartorius hissed, the fires licking at him.

Sartorius 5200 – 1500 → 3700

"Nice! Sartorius is down to less then half of his Life Points!" Salome cheered.

"Don't forget that Hamon deals another thousand thanks to his own effect!" Maurice stated, smirking.

Sartorius 2700

"I'll end my turn." Jaden stated.

Sartorius drew his card, looking over his hand. He had Ra but his life points were in a sad state. Thankfully, the new spell he had would help with that.

"I play Elixir of Life!"

(Elixir of Life – Type/Spell/Normal

Increase your Life Points by the sum total of all monsters ATK & DEF.)

Jaden, upon reading the effect, realized what was going to happen. He did some quick math in his head.

Valkyrion – ATK/3500 + DEF/3850 → 7350

Chimera – ATK/2100 + DEF/1800 → 3900

Envoy of the Beginning – ATK/3000 + DEF/2500 → 5500

Hamon – ATK/4000 + DEF/4000 → 8000

In total, Sartorius would regain twenty-four thousand seven hundred and fifty life points! Couple that number with his current life points, he would have over twenty-seven thousand four hundred and fifty life points!

Sartorius: 2700 +24,750 → 27,450

"Shit." Jaden swore, seeing Sartorius hold up one card.

"I tribute Valkyrion, Chimera and Black Luster Soldier..."

That announcement had everyone go tense. Sweat began to form. Sartorius let loose his duel aura, the white light rising up and gaining red eyes and a mouth. Sartorius cackled, his hair getting wild and his eyes glowing brightly.

"I summon The Winged Dragon of RA!"

The three monsters vanished in three pillars of light. The light joined together and a massive shadow descended down. Jaden tensed, seeing the massive sphere. But he knew. He knew Sartorius knew the means to awaken the mighty beast. Sartorius began to laugh, his voice being harsher.

"Great beast of the sky, please hear my cry. Transform thyself from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight. Envelop the island with your glow and cast your rage upon my foe. Unlock your powers from deep within so that together we may win. Appear in this Shadow Game as I call out your name, WINGED DRAGON OF RA!"

Everyone stared as golden rays shot out from the orb. The center part of it slithered, revealing the tail of the oncoming storm. The lower part shifted into a pair of legs ending with metal talons. The top half split into two pieces, the first set of pieces changing into massive gold plated wings. From the second set, arms reached out, thunder rolling off of the claws. A large head rose up, its eyes burning red as it let loose a screeching cry.

Winged Dragon of Ra – ATK/?, DEF/? → ATK/8600, DEF/8150

The chains from Mound of the Bound Creator once again came to life, wrapping around the arms, legs, and neck of the mighty beast before them. Sartorius began to laugh in triumph, the screeching roar of Ra mixing with it. Winds blew around the young King and Hamon, both who looked grim.

The most powerful of the God monsters was summoned. How would this turn the tide?

Sartorius has summoned Ra. With only Hamon protecting Jaden, how will he fare against the Sun god? Stay tuned~.
