Asuka ran quickly jumping from rocks as the acid spitting Yōma she had been sent to eliminate she peered over her shoulder as the large creature growled behind her smashing into trees and rocks as she continued its pursuit, the dark brown haired girl smiled leading the creature into the trap she had set up ahead she looked forward once more sliding to a halt as she turned seeing the creature continue its pursuit.

She waited as she counted down in her head as she smiled staying near the rope for her trap as the Yōma got closer and closer, quickly she swiped her blade cutting the rope as the wooden spike trap she had set up ahead of time came crashing down as the wooden spikes pierced its body as the creature cried out in pain.

Seeing her opportunity the shinobi charged forward, her blades raised as she glares at her target bellowing and flailing around in pain concentrating hard she noted it's movements setting herself up to deliver the final blow.

"Secret ninja art: Dual slash" Asuka called out jumping from the rocks and trees dodging the acid being spat at her charging forward at an unpredictable speed slicing off the creatures head in one stroke, with one final roar the creature went silent.

Panting the shinobi smiled looking around at her fallen prey with a grin, she walked forwards putting her swords back in their sheath lowering her guard approaching the creature stopping just short she looked to the side hearing the noise almost too late as she jumped back feeling a sharp pain in her arm as the lesser Yōma scratched her.

"Fool, never lower your guard" A voice called out making Asuka look as in a flash of flame the lesser Yōma was cut down, a figure landed in front of her six swords at her sides as she turned to face the other "How many times Asuka? The only one you can lose to is me".

Asuka stayed still as her tanned rival bandaged up the cut on her arm, she had not expected to see the renegade assuming that the other would have been off at one of her numerous part time jobs.

"There" Homura said tying the bandage tightly as she smiled patting the wound as Asuka growled "Consider it punishment for stupidity, come on Asuka you know better than to let your guard down until you're sure it's safe". The dark brown haired girl said nothing trying to block out the stinging in her arm, the other girl chuckled sitting down with her as she looked at the large dead creature behind her.

"Thank you for the help" Asuka said finally as Homura turned to face her with a raised eyebrow "What? I've thanked you before you know, this is nothing knew I just wasn't expecting that there would be more than one".

"It pulled some extra's in" Homura responded leaning back on her arms as she smiled "A few smaller ones where hiding around here, I killed a few on my way that one that attacked you was the last one. I was in the area doing some training when I heard the yell and came looking". Asuka looked at the other in front of her listening to her story as she smiled, since their very first moment of meeting, the first battle they had, the rivalry they had fostered over years had been what had pushed the two to the greater heights they had reached.

"Homura" Asuka said as she moved closer, the tanned girl turned to face her wondering what her rival would have to say however her eyes widened from the sudden movement, the soft sensation rushing through her body as Asuka's lips found their way to her own kissing her softly and lovingly for a moment as she pulled back smiling "Thank you for saving me".

So there we have it Homura bails out Asuka and earns herself a nice little reward in the process so we are pretty far in and there are a lot more to come beyond, I hope your all excited because next up is a freebie, it's going to be Ikaruga
