R&R longer note at the end

Asuka stood by the large fountain five minutes early for her date, she fixed her jacket and ponytail as she waited for her companion to arrive she chuckled as she remembered the events that lead to this moment in both girls lives a bet that was make and accepted with a regular training session.

The sounds of metal on metal rang out as the two shinobi's weapons clashed the two girls grinned jumping away, the black haired class representative vs the team leader of the Hanzō elite class however today was more intense than normal as the two girls had made a bet.

"You're bringing more intensity than normal Ikaruga" Asuka said smiling holding her blades charging forward "Does the idea of losing that bet really want you to push it?" The black haired girl brought her sword up blocking her team mates attack smiling as she quickly spun her sword causing Asuka's blades to fly up leaving her unguarded causing Ikaruga to kick the other in the stomach pushing the girl back.

"Excuse me Asuka" Ikaruga said bringing her sword to the side with a smile "I always bring my best regardless of the situation but to answer your question, of course I want to win the bet". Asuka grunted from the kick as she let a grin cross her lips, of course Ikaruga would wish to win she had gone simplistic if she won then Asuka would take up her cleaning duties for a whole week.

Deciding to keep the fun going the dark brown haired girl had decided to keep her side of the bet a secret, looking at the black haired girl Asuka charged forward she knew when it came to a battle of strength Ikaruga would have the edge however in terms of speed she knew she would have the edge.

Ikaruga brought her sword up as she concentrated coating the blade in a blue flame as she smiled, she knew this would be the deciding blow she was ready for anything the other had planned. Asuka smiled as she picked up speed her plan was flawless as she got closer she saw the girl's flame coated blade raise up as she chuckled a little dropping suddenly as she charged past flipping the others white skirt up.

"H-hey! What are you doing?" Ikaruga asked outraged as her sword suddenly dropped to the floor as she held her skirt down her face bright red as she looked to the other "That's cheap, I expect this kind of nonsense from Katsuragi but not you".

"We didn't state any rules so I didn't exactly cheat" Asuka said putting her short swords away as she turned around "You however dropped your weapon so that means it's my victory, so I won the bet". Ikaruga sighed as her shinobi armour returned to her usual school uniform as she tried to calm herself down turning to face the other girl wondering just what she had going on in her mind, she sighed accepting her fate as she looked over nodding.

"Perfect so since I won then I will reveal the secret" Asuka smiled clapping her hands together "We are going on a date".

"..ka, Asuka" Ikaruga's voice came as if from a distance causing Asuka to jump a little as Ikaruga chuckled watching her "Honestly, this was your idea and your over here spacing out. I mean for someone who was here five minutes before the appointed time and you still can't keep from day dreaming".

"Sorry, I was just remember….wait a minute?" Asuka responded catching the black haired girl's words as she leaned forward "How do you know I was five minutes early?" Ikaruga's cheeks went slightly pink as she held her bag a little closer looking for an excuse to not answer, she had not wanted the other to know she had arrived ten minutes early herself hiding nearby not even sure herself why she had arrived early.

"You look nice" she responded after a while smiling as she looked her friend over, her long dark brown hair pulled into a ponytail with a simple black hoodie with a white t-shirt underneath, her usual skirt replaced with blue denim jeans with black trainers. Clearly distracted by the compliment the Hanzō elite leader smiled showing off her figure a little, she had spent a long time deciding on an outfit glad that her hard work had paid off.

"Well you look very cute as well" Asuka said smiling causing another blush to play at Ikaruga's cheeks, she had chosen something simple and elegant wearing a white summer dress with silver pumps leaving her long black hair down covered with a straw summer hat.

"Thank, well shall we get going?" Ikaruga asked as Asuka nodding holding her hand out for the other to take with a moment of hesitation Ikaruga reached over grasping it as she smiled following the other girl's lead.

The sun began to set as the two girls laughed and smiled sitting on a bench next to each other eating their ice cream after a fun and exciting day together, as much as they enjoyed spending time with their team mates the chance to hang out alone was just as enjoyable and very welcomed.

"This was nice" Asuka said eating her strawberry ice cream "I'm glad we did it, I guess. Sorry for using a cheap tactic to win, I just really wanted that win".

"I'm over that" Ikaruga replied chuckling as she took a bite of her own chocolate ice cream "Yes I was disappointed but this day has certainly made up for it so I've chosen to forgive you yet I feel like I have to ask". The dark brown haired girl looked over as she tilted her head to one side wondering what the other girl had to ask, looking forward Ikaruga tried to decide her next words carefully before letting out a sigh she turned to face the other.

"Why the bet?" Ikaruga asked causing the other to look a little confused "If this was what you wanted then why didn't you just ask? Why go through the whole pain of setting up a bet for this?"

"We-well" Asuka stammered as she looked away not expecting such a question as she thought about it refusing to meet the others gaze "I-I had to do the bet because I d-didn't think you'd say yes is all". Ikaruga chuckled causing the other to look at her as she continued to laugh, Asuka tried but couldn't supress her grin as she too joined in laughing after a few moments before returning to their ice cream as Asuka looked over chuckling again.

"What? What's so funny?" Ikaruga asked as the other continued to laugh "Honestly, what is so…" The rest of her sentence was suddenly cut off as a blush played at her cheeks from an unexpected kiss to the cheek from the other, she stayed still not sure what was happening as Asuka moved away.

"So-sorry, you had some ice cream on your cheek" Asuka said with a small blush "It was just the fastest way to…" It was now the dark brown haired girl's turn to blush as her sentence was cut off as a soft feeling pressed itself to her own lips as Ikaruga returned the kiss taking a more bold route the sensation lasted for a few moments before Ikaruga moved back.

"So-sorry" Ikaruga said timidly before she looked up smiling as some confidence returned to her "You're lips didn't have mine on them so this was the fastest way to solve it".

Well here we have Ikaruga's turn, wouldn't be me if I kept it obvious of course and with it being Ikaruga there had to be a few fun little twists here and there, of course anything in Italics are a flash back to give some context into the bet so everyone is aware how it happened and of course what it was that led to this

So now the question remains. Will the next lucky girl's name begin with K or was there someone else I had in mind? I guess we shall all find out together
