"Discovering a destiny is one thing for a person to accept, but to find one is another thing that people don't know about until it's laid before them. That's the case for Keldor who was trying to learn about his destiny and what it be like once he's written his name in the Storybook of Legends. Most of the students who have taken classes with him believed that he'd be Adam's advisor to handle issues of Eternos or learn the ancient ways of magic to ensure that it continues across Eternia. To him? He was learning how to control his type of magic since had discovered it could be possible to use it if given the proper object to channel it through. Luckily the class he was in could help since it was for individuals who had magical abilities and needed guidance in learning what they were capable of."

Morning-Science and Sorcery class

With the sun shining and everyone seemingly chipper for the day to start, the students of Ever After High headed to their class called Science and Sorcery. There it would be taught by Rumpelstiltskin who is an expert in modern and old magic in both kingdoms, which was helpful since most of the faculty had difficulty understanding one another due to their unique backgrounds. The students were at their desks when they saw the small professor walking around making sure his class was ready.

"Now then you younglings. You think that just because you can turn a seed into a tree or make the sky rain on people who took your gold string. But that doesn't work like that!"

The professor shouted at the students which startled them since he was the aggressive type to make sure his students followed the lessons that he taught them. Otherwise, he'd make them use a spindle and make gold string for him since that was the price for whatever task he did for someone.

"You have to understand the magic, know how it works, and importantly the difference between doing it by hand or with a tool."

He said in a serious voice since magic could be dangerous if not handled properly Rumpelstiltskin clapped his hands which caused their desks to combine into tables. Looking over at the cabinets by the walls, he kicks them open showing them aprons, and throws them to each of the students.

"The book I am giving you is Magic Instruments 101. It's learning how to channel your powers through an item of your choice and use whatever you find in the room to guide you. You have several minutes before you can make an object of your own."

He gave them their lesson as the professor grabbed a newspaper allowing the class to work by themselves and find the objects around them to help with the assignment. Amongst the class was Keldor who was looking around the place trying to find anything that could be used as a magical instrument. Noticing a metal rod that seemed likely to help him make a scepter, it was quickly taken by an unusual student with blue skin and wearing a red underbite mouthpiece who took a moment to look at the metal that he took from Keldor.

"Titanium. Light and durable at the same time, but also good as a morning snack."

He spoke to Keldor as he took a bite out of the titanium rod which surprised several of the students due to the boy's unique taste in metal. Only Keldor chuckled at how he was able to recognize the race he was from due to their knowledge of foreign metals and craftsmanship.

"You're a Gar. It's a specialty to meet one of the few people who understand forging durable machinery, especially having body enhancements."

He stated that his people helped make most of the vehicles and buildings that could withstand rough storms whenever it came to Eternos. Hearing the compliment from Keldor only made the boy shrug it off as he continued to eat the titanium rod.

"It's Kronis. And I'm not like my people who build stuff, my story is going be around the place tearing things apart and eating metal."

Introducing himself to Keldor since he seemed adequate with becoming a villain despite his people's reputation. Deciding to let him keep the rod as a snack, the student resumed his search as Keldor noticed a golden staff by the side which seemed to be calling him. It also included a ram skull that appeared to be made out of plastic but was real, unfortunately, he heard a sigh from a boy who seemed to have wanted to take the plastic skull head.

"Dang. I wanted to use that skull for my hunting crossbow, it's able to locate anything from a hundred-mile radius."

He explained his device as Keldor recognized the boy as Hunter Huntsman, son of the well-known Huntsman of the kingdom and known for facing hundreds of beasts who threaten fair maidens or anyone in need of a hunter. Taking a moment to examine the crossbow, it was old-fashioned and seemed enchanted by his world's mystics. With the students having made the conduit items to help channel their magic through it, Rumpelstiltskin whistled to the class to come together as they lined up in a row so he could get a look at their items.

"I've seen better. Though it's worthwhile to see what you can do, So then. Which one will want to show off in front of everyone?"

Their professor asked if they were bold enough to show their items off for the class and see if they could withstand their magic. Smirking at the challenge, Daring walked out allowing himself to show off his item which seemed to be a toothbrush that he freshened up and placed fairy dust on it.

"While we don't have magic. Our teeth are considered mystical when we use it the right way."

He explained about his teeth as placed the toothbrush on the handmade toothbrush and started to brush his teeth. It took him two minutes for Daring to have his teeth fully clean and he smiled directly at his classmates. The smile he displayed had a different reaction from his classmates such as the princesses passing out affectionately, while the boys getting blind due to how perfect they were. Except for Keldor who gripped his hand-made staff and created a force field around himself so the blinding teeth don't affect him.

"Charming. Not your name but how simple that is, let me show you how to properly 'show off'."

He announced as the boy focused channeling the magic within himself and pointed his ram staff towards Daring. The shield around him changed into a powerful gust of wind as it blew over Daring's hair which ruined it and made it stand on end. Taking a moment to grab his mirror, Daring freaked out at how his hair was ruined and rushed to his desk to fix it. Keldor's classmates couldn't help but laugh at the display and applaud how he was able to show control over the constructed staff.

"Not bad. However, it is important that with making a conduit, you never overwhelm it with magic. Because most magic can sometimes affect the user if they don't master it themselves."

The professor stated as they soon heard the bell ring informed the students that class had ended. With everyone gathering their belongings and leaving the room, Rumpelstiltskin whistled to Keldor as he wanted to have a word with him. Thinking it might be about how it was wrong to mess with a student's hair since most of the students in Ever After High have magical hair, the professor was curious about the constructed item that he made.

"Do you know what type of metal this is?"

Rumpelstiltskin questioned Keldor about what it was as the boy took a moment to examine the random stuff he took from the classroom, and it took several seconds for him to realize what it was. The realization made Rumpelstiltskin nod at the importance of what Keldor was holding in his hand.

"Kirbinite. This ore was one of the many metals that caught my attention when I came here to Eternia when our kingdoms came together, I made it into a staff and thought I'd show off a 'royal' look to the kings. It didn't work, so I left it here since it didn't do anything else. It seems you've been able to figure out its use."

He explained the material that Keldor was holding in his hand since he read up about Kirbinite in the books that he'd kept hidden from everyone since it was forbidden text. The professor allowed Keldor to keep it since he understood how the young man had managed to make something out of it and him in respecting the craftsmanship. Having said that, he allowed the young man to walk out with his item as Keldor continued to look at his handmade staff. Especially the ram skull which started to become attached to it as it wasn't like that when he'd placed it on the top of the staff. Continuing his stroll across the hallways, Keldor didn't notice how most of the students were scared of the accessory he was holding.

"That is a rather frightening staff you have Keldor. It makes you look frightening; in a good way I mean."

Someone complimenting him as Keldor looked over to see Apple White who was by the side comforting the three Billy goats who appeared petrified around the Eternian. Giving a questionable look towards the three goats, they ran away quickly to avoid what he might be thinking about doing to them. Apple didn't run as she was curious about the staff in his hands.

"It isn't to make me look scary. Just for intimidation, though you seem to be the only one that isn't afraid."

Keldor responded back to the future queen of the Enchanted Kingdom as she shared a smile since it was known that Snow White grew up around witches and monsters. With that being said, the two decided to walk down the hallway since they were heading outside to enjoy the morning.

"It still looks good on you. I only wished that Raven could pick up an evil attire or something to help her when Legacy Day comes, the school has only a few days left before it arrives."

Apple spoke concerning on how Raven seemed neglected on writing her name in the book and accepted her role as the new evil queen. Keldor was confused about the importance of Legacy Day since it was an important event for everyone. It brought up many questions for the young man, especially one about Raven's part in taking the mantle of becoming her mother and terrorizing the kingdom.

"Forgive me if I would tempt fate but, how do you know she desires to be the new evil queen?"

He questioned Raven's role due to that despite seeing the purple haired girl for the past several days, she didn't seem the type to hurt anyone or want to curse them. It was true, despite being isolated from everyone and had the appearance of someone who'd release a dragon on a castle to cursing an entire kingdom. She was nice, which wasn't exactly good for Apple since it could complicate things for her destiny.

"It's none of our choices to make. Especially myself since I dreamt about being an animal rescuer when I learned I could communicate to the birds, but not everyone can choose whatever they like. We all have a story to accept, even if it is unfortunately upsetting."

She told Keldor that everyone in Ever After High eventually would have to sign their name in the Storybook of Legends. Whether their stories were good or bad, it would help continue to keep the balance of the Enchanted Kingdom and inspire others to learn from their tales. Hearing the tone in her voice changing on how she gave the response to him, he decided to try something and stood in front of her and looked directly into Apple's perfect blue eyes.

"Then answer me this one question. What's my role in the Storybook of Legends? If everyone here from your kingdom and Eternia has a story they have to follow, can you guess mine?"

He asked Apple if she could guess what his story could be if he'd sign his name in the book. It could be bad since he grew up around parents who worked with terrible beings and learned magic from them or be good to make amends for his family's past. Apple couldn't put her finger on it as the look in Keldor's eyes showed an uncertain path that he'd follow, but she knew there was something in him that made him stand out from everyone.

"I don't know. But I hope it can be something that you enjoy, its what everyone hopes for when they write their name in the book."

Apple answered to the best of her ability before heading off to meet her friends who waved over so they could hang out together. With Keldor hearing about it and looking at his ram staff, his gaze looked over to Headmaster Grimm who was greeting the students and drinking from a water bottle. Aiming his staff slightly towards Grimm without him knowing, he caused the bottle to break from the bottom and ruin his shoes. Keldor laughs quietly as he decides to enjoy the day without noticing his skeletal hand acting up as it emitted a faint glow of him using his staff to humiliate someone.

Later-Eternia's village of book end

Back in the village where the streets were right now full of people standing in front of a shoe store. The daughter of Cinderella, Ashlynn Ella. Who was working at her mothers shop called the 'Glass Slipper Shoe', which sold many types of shoes that could fit anyone size feet from giant to mouse. The orange haired princess was having trouble with putting up the latest shoes that were just shipped to the store this morning. Right now she was the only one in the store to stock the shelves since there weren't that many people she could ask for assistance.

"Just this last set of pumps. Then I have to handle the rest."

She spoke to herself sadly as Ashlynn looked over at the other shoe boxes that she didn't have time to set up since the orders were more than she thought it be. Standing on a stepping ladder finishing displaying the pumps before accidentally miss step on one of the steps and falls right off, only to be caught by a set of arms that she didn't recognize. It was Krass, who was surprised on catching her in his arms since he wasn't known for catching people.

"Hello. Will this mean I can get a discount on those boots in one of the boxes?"

He asked since Krass noticed a set of boots that looked perfect for his large feet. Thanking him for the save, Krass placed her down where Ashlynn noticed by the backdoor was Blonde Locks who walked in with several of the Eternian students who wanted to visit the store.

"Blonde. I thought you couldn't help out because of the beds you were checking out."

Ashlynn brought up how Blonde had an unusual interest in studying things that were either too big or too small and made sure that anything she looked at was just right. Blonde nodded at that as she brought up her tablet about finding the right bed for her room back at Ever After High.

"I did and already ordered them to my dorm room. Also, I wanted to show the Eternians around the place, especially how I could help them get a new set of shoes since they need to get ready for Legacy Day."

Blonde brought up two reasons for being here since they'd need to show off a creative look when Legacy Day happens, which was coming in a couple of days. Adam took a moment to check out the shoes and saw a wide variety that would look perfect for him since he wasn't that much for shoes, especially Teela who mostly wore leather boots since she did a lot of running growing up.

"Do you have any shoes that have wings on the sides? Not real feathers but metal shaped? I already have a suit ready for the occasion but need proper footwear."

Stratos in a fascinated tone since he noticed how each of the shoes in the boxes had a theme that would fit his Avian clothing. Ashlynn smiled at the challenge of aiding them in finding the right shoes for them, but only if they helped set them on the shelves before the doors opened. The group agrees to the princess as they get started on placing the shoes on the shelves, so they'd be presented to the customers. While the teens were focused on setting up the shoes, Orius extended his neck over to Adam it surprised the prince him on coming up from behind in a curious manner.

"Not to act like a spy or anything, but I noticed when I was practicing extending my neck was hanging out with Raven last night. What happened?"

He asked quietly so the others didn't head him as Odius concentrated on putting the shoes on their respective shelves. Adam took a moment to look at the others who were focused on helping out Ashlynn, the prince decided to entertain his friend on what was going on with Raven.

"We just talked that's all. I mean is it wrong to talk to a girl that's different from everyone else?"

Adam responded to Orius since it didn't seem like him to pry into other people's business unless it was important. However, it would only be for important moments due to him learning about becoming a spy for Eternos, which seemed to be the case right now with him hanging out with a potential threat to Eternos.

"I'm not starting anything. I mean with everyone talking about how bad she's going be and you hanging out with her, its important to know who might be causing trouble in the near future."

Orius explained his reason for asking since most of the students here would be bound to become potential enemies of Eternia or allies. Unfortunately for Orius, Adam knew there was more to Raven than either he or the others could imagine from her. Especially since the sorceress saw much potential in Raven if she wanted to meet her and himself at Castle Grayskull. Just as they had set up the shoes on the shelves and readying the store to be open, the group noticed near the stores was numerous customers who wanted to rush in and start buying.

"Are these people really that invested in shoe shopping?"

Teela asked before Ashlynn whistled near the sides where a pair of mice went over to unlock the doors allowing the customers to enter. Suddenly coming in was a mob of teenagers screaming and shouting to get the newest sets of shoes, to which left the Eternians caught off guard by how large the crowd was. Not even Krass could withstand the mob that was coming in and trying to take the shoes he had in his hands.

"Wait! I'm not even a customer!"

Shouting in fear as he felt their hands taking the shoes off him and pieces of his clothes due to how aggressive they were. Even Stratos had to keep his distance as he took up to the ceiling since he didn't want them trying to grab his wings since they'd think it was additional clothing for them to buy. Having seen the shoes being purchased and things going well, Ashlynn noticed by the doorway was someone waiting for her as it made her nervous on who it was.

"Hey Teela? Do you think you can take over for me? I'll be back in a few minutes."

She asked her for help which Teela nodded as the place was becoming hectic and out of control, which was something she could manage. Pulling out her staff and extending it, Teela spins it around which caught the customers attention before hitting the end of her staff to the ground. Silencing everyone in the store, she walked over to the cashier where Teela saw things now settled with how she displayed a commanding position towards everyone.

"Now then. Who wants to actually buy their shoes before they get damaged?"

Teela questioned the customers as they got in line so that they can buy them and leave quickly. With having control over the store, Adam saw how Ashlynn left which got him curious about what made her leave. Taking his chance to head out of the shoe store, he saw Ashlynn heading into where he saw her meeting someone in a green hoodie. Holding the stranger's hands in a comforting manner, she slowly removes it to show none other than Hunter Huntsman who wanted to meet her here away from the store.

"You just couldn't wait for me to get out of the store, couldn't ya?"

Ashlynn asked in a flirting manner as they share a kiss which surprised Adam since he hadn't seen any couples since his stay at Ever After High. Not trying to ruin the moment, he hid behind a tree but listened in silence since it had him curious.

"Sorry. It's just I had a weird class this morning with Adam's cousin, Keldor. Including how he humiliated Daring with magic of all things."

Hunter explained how being by her side made his worries go away since seeing Keldor use the handmade staff made him scared. Hearing that part caught Adam off guard since he never knew that Keldor could use magic, more or less master it since he was told that if he attempted to do it. He could end up losing his skin since his hand was the result of practicing magic.

"That is a bit creepy. Luckily, Adam and the others are helping the shoe store which is a win for both of us. Meaning we can spend some time together before I head back."

She responded to Hunter on spending time with him before returning back and helping out with the others. With having heard about the possibility of Keldor using magic, he wanted to check up on him and see if it was true. Before doing so, he heard a growl coming from the further parts of the forest which caught the attention of Hunter and Ashlynn. Standing in front to try and protect her, Hunter saw coming out of the forest was a large bear that looked angry and filled with rage. Hesitate to pull out his crossbow and harm the animal, it quickly swats him off to the side and has him hit his back against the tree.

"Hunter!"

Ashlynn cried out to rush over and see if he was alright. Adam seeing the bear attacking them had no choice but to become He-Man, running over to where he couldn't get spotted. He pulls out the sword and whispers the words quietly so that they didn't hear him. Though that didn't stop the lighting coming down to get the attention of the two as well the bear who growled at the sound of lighting. Growling at what was hiding behind the trees, the bear and teens saw coming out was He-man who took a moment to try and look confident since this was his first time transforming to help people.

"It seems that your having animal trouble. Mind if I help out?"

He asked the two and trying to put on a heroic voice since it was important to act brave in front of impending danger. The bear saw how bigger he looked than the others as it quickly charges He-Man, it only left the barbarian styled stranger to hold the bear at a standstill as he was able to equal the animal's strength. Lifting the large animal up to get a better chance to see how strong he was, He-Man noticed a peculiar sight in its paw.

"Well now. It seems I know why your so angry there buddy, just give me a second."

Responding to the bear before dropping it on its back softly and going over to the bear's paw to pull out a large thorn was jabbed within it. The sudden release of tension caused the bear to lose its anger and becomes peaceful again. Patting the back of the animal's neck, the bear went off back to its natural habitat and leaving the couple alone. Walking over to help Hunter up, he took a moment to look at the crossbow and could tell that he didn't seem the type to harm the bear.

"Whether you want to believe it. I can see you didn't want the harm the bear yourself, despite being a hunter. It's good to be true to yourself."

He-Man told Hunter that he was fond of animals than wanting to harm them. The two thanked him for helping out before heading off as He-Man left the two to go about their business like if nothing happened. Meanwhile for Adam who was able to get a distance from Ashlynn and Hunter, he lets out an excited jump in the air for being able to help them out without hurting the animal. Though the moment was cut short since he had to handle another issue that didn't require physical strength, figuring out how Keldor is able to use magic and help him avoid cursing his body into become a full-on skeleton.
