Gasps were heard all around as everyone looked at Neptune with varying emotions.
The Sun looked into the depths of space, his premonition telling him something was amiss. He peered down at Neptune, squinting his eyes, "How do you know such a thing, Poseidon?"
Neptune opened his mouth, then closed it. He averted his gaze.
'Do I tell them?' He asked the Novastar.
"That's up to you, Neptune." Messier spoke, "Do you trust these planets and your Star?"
'Well, of course! They're my friends, after all.' Neptune smiled, nodding to himself. He took a deep breath, looking up at the Sun, "I may or may not have touched the Novastar."
The planets all held a look of confusion, glancing around at each other and shrugging.
"And that's supposed to explain... what exactly?" Venus asked.
"You touched the Novastar...?" The Sun frowned, his eyes turning grim, "You are in grave danger, Neptune."
"Oh, don't I know it?" Neptune chuckled awkwardly.
"Who is the Novastar?"
"His name is Messier."
"From the Messier 28 galaxy?" The Sun's eyes darted up, gazing into the distance. He hummed.
"Wait, if X took all the dwarf planets, then..." Mars looked over to the asteroid belt, "Is Ceres gone?"
"Only one way to find out." Venus smirked, grabbing an asteroid, "Oh, Ceres, hope you like the present!"
Venus tossed the asteroid into the belt, waiting. . .
Sounds came from within the rocks and debris as some asteroids crashed and hit each other.
CRASH! THWAP! BANG!
A small spherical object came flying out from the asteroid belt, holding the asteroid that Venus threw while cackling all the way.
"Hehehahahaheheh!" Ceres laughed, throwing it back at Venus.
"Woop-!" Jupiter caught it into his gravity, pulling it towards him instead, watching it explode as it entered his gravity.
"Oh no you don't, you little-!" Venus cut the dwarf planet from leaving, "You're not going anywhere!"
Ceres' eyes widened at the confrontation, turning to fly the other way until being stopped by Mars, the Earth, and his moon on either side of him.
"Hey, Ceres! Remember me?" Luna smiled, watching as Ceres frowned.
"Hehahah..." He laughed sheepishly.
The rocky planets led the dwarf planet over to the others. Ceres' eyes darted everywhere for any way to escape.
"So, X captured all the dwarf planets..." Venus spoke, getting up in Ceres' space, "Know anything?"
Ceres said nothing, averting his eyes away from the planets.
"Neptune," Messier called.
'Yes?' The blue Celestial responded.
"Ceres was there."
Neptune frowned, floating up to the group, "Ceres, you know your way around the asteroid belt, right?"
Ceres nodded.
"What about the Kuiper belt?"
Ceres shrugged, tilting his sphere.
"Yet you still managed to escape X?" Neptune raised an eyebrow, "You must be lucky or something if someone like X, who knows his way around the Kuiper belt, can't capture you."
Ceres averted his gaze, looking down into the void of space.
"Unless... X told you something."
Ceres froze, his eyes widening.
"What was it?"
The dwarf planet's eyes looked at the other Giants and then at the Star. He shook timidly. It was the most emotion anyone had seen of him.
Slowly, Ceres took out a notepad and started to write.
"He can write?" Mars asked.
"I'm surprised he can even read," Earth spoke, earning a light jab from Luna.
Ceres handed the notepad to Neptune, who took it and squinted at the small words.
Do you really eat other Celestial bodies for the heck of it?
Neptune raised his eyebrows at that, "Huh?"
"Such a strange concept..." Messier commented, "Though it's not his fault for misunderstanding."
Neptune flew to the other Giants, saying, "Hey- you might want to read this."
Jupiter took the notepad, adjusting his glasses to read it, "Huh."
"Let me see." Saturn tugged his arm, moving it closer to him. He frowned at the contents, "Oh dear..."
"Other bodies think we do this? Really? I thought the rumor died centuries ago." Uranus huffed, grabbing the notepad.
"Maybe saying I accidentally killed some of my moons to my moons didn't help..." Saturn uttered.
"Saturn..." Jupiter sighed.
"Ooh, you know I can't help it Jupiter- everything I say comes out wrong!" Saturn crossed his arms.
"Really? I haven't noticed," Uranus muttered.
Neptune hummed, blinking one eye, then the other. He turned to look at Ceres, "While it is true that Saturn uh, killed his moons-"
"On accident!" Saturn pointed out.
"On accident, it doesn't mean he meant to do so." Neptune floated, "Jupiter and Saturn's gravity affects us all the time, so of course there would be... casualties."
Some planets winced at the wording. Ceres appeared less than enthused at the response, frowning at the Celestial.
'Did I say something wrong?' He questioned. Messier sighed.
The answer seemed to satisfy Ceres enough as he looked around cautiously before pulling something out.
A pair of sunglasses with one of the lenses cracked.

"Well, look on the bright side, at least it's like we're playing the game." Makemake smiled sheepishly from where he sat tied up on an asteroid.
"Ugh, seriously?" Eris groaned, twisting her head to look at the other, "Are you really comparing Dungeons & Dwarf Planets with us literally getting planetnapped?"
Makemake chuckled, clearing his throat as he shrunk back in his seat.
"This sucks..." Pluto uttered, shaking his head, "Are you okay, Charon?"
The moon huffed at another futile attempt to escape. She slouched against the asteroids, sighing, "Never better!"
"Triton, what about you?" Pluto looked to the other dwarf planet across from him.
"I'm fine..." He gruffed, his gaze cast down. Pluto frowned, noticing the crestfallen look on the other's face.
"Wh-What does this guy want from us anyway?" Haumea asked, looking around the Kuiper belt.
"Who knows?" Eris scoffed, "Whatever it is, it can't be good. I heard the guy was ejected from the solar system ages ago from 'acting out' with the other Giants. Whatever happened must've been traumatic."
"Quiet." A voice spoke. Out from the darkness floated a Celestial body. It wasn't the planet that captured them, but someone else entirely. She had a reddish hue and was smaller than the dwarf planets before her.
"Who are you?" Charon asked.
"...Sedna, a dwarf planet." She said, crossing her arms, "The others will be here soon."
"Others...?" Pluto raised an eyebrow, expecting the strange dwarf to respond.
Sedna said nothing, turning away from them to look at a whiteboard, drawing what seemed to be a diagram.
The dwarf planets glanced at each other, questions in their gazes, knowing they wouldn't get an answer soon as they sat there and waited.
