The weight on Seth's back is horrible. He feels like he's going to be torn to shreds, the heat of the attack feeling like it's stripping through his flesh to melt his bones. He's still holding onto Mox's hand, his face getting pressed hard into hte ground. When it disappears suddenly, he gasps and feels oxygen filling his lungs up properly. He grunts and looks up to find Mox looking around, as confused as Seth feels. "What... what just happened?" he asks, frowning. He's not sure if he should move, but he tries, rolling over onto his back and lifting himself up on his elbows to get a look at what's going on around them.

"What is that?" Dean demands, frowning up at the dome that's covering them. It's a shield, Seth thinks, ironically enough, covering them. When he looks over, Heath and Wade are covered by a similar shield. Across the way, Shinsuke has his own as well. "Huh, well this is unexpected," he says. Mox stands, Seth following slowly behind him. They stand side by side under this strange, orange dome, and look around to see where the others are.

"No," Darkness Bagramon says. "This is impossible. You cannot be shielded from me. How! You are measly humans with weak partners, you cannot neutralize me in such a way! I will not allow it!" He lunges down, slamming his fists into the domes of energy, gritting his teeth as it reverberates under his hands. Another hit and another, and all Seth and Mox can do is stand there, looking up at him as they wait to see if the shields will hold or not.

Pulling together even more energy, Darkness Bagramon slams into hte dome again, an explosion sending him flying backwards. The shield quavers, but holds, and Seth breathes deeply, glancing over at Mox. "What should we do?" he asks once they have a few moments of silence.

Mox looks around and says, "Aegrisdramon is over there." Just like that, he breaks through the dome and lunges for their partner. Seth gapes after him, then gives chase.

"Mox, wait!" he yells out, frustrated at how easily Mox just sacrificed their only real defense. Until htey arrived at their partner's side and Seth rests a hand on the creature's side, feeling him struggling breaths rattling through his chest.

Mox touches him as well, and power flows through them into the creature, a shield forming around them once more. "Oh," Mox says, looking around at the larger dome now surrounding them. "This just seems to follow us around, I guess. Which is nice."

"Yeah," Seth says, then flinches when Darkness Bagramon lunges down on top of them once more, blown back again when the shield explodes. "Shit," Seth breathes out.

"Aegrisdramon, can you fight?" Mox asks.

"Maybe," he mumbles, getting to his feet.

"Shinsuke," Mox yells. "Barrett. You hear me?"

"Yes," they call back.

"Might need your help here," he calls back. "hold your digivices up one more time."

The four of them do, Aegrisdramon blowing out of the shield, which reforms behind him, and he grabs at Darkness Bagramon. "SHINE BREAKER!" he screams out, all of the energy surrounding him, swooping up then back down, shredding through Aegrisdramon and causing his entire body to destabilize.

"No! I will not die here!" But then Aegisdramon focuses more of the energy and whatever stability he'd regained falls apart and he explodes, everything falling silent as the digidestined try to regroup, looking for their partners and other missing members of the team.

Luke stares at them. "Well, there's still the Dolph situation to handle, but at least this much is finished.. For now, I want you to take a few days, your holidays the best you can. I'll figure out a way into the dark ocean for you, and then we'll take it from there. Please, try to rest. I will see you back here in a week."

Seth nor Mox seem pleased with this, but they're exhausted and their partners were on the brink of deletion, so they agree after a few moments of silent communication. "See you in a week," Seth says to hte others, eager to go back to Earth, where the most physical stress he'll have will be from wrestling.
