Seth runs his thumb over his digivice, lost in thought. There's chatter all around him- human and digimon alike. The Raw team is nearly all together again, with the return of Carmella and Floramon, but he can barely pay attention to it, lost in thought. Ziggler is still lost somewhere in the Dark Ocean, being tortured who knows how long, and Seth knows they've taken too long to get back to rescuing him, but there was little they could do with how beat down they all were.
He's still standing there, staring off into the distance, lost in thought, when a flash of blue distracts him and he looks down to find Asuka standing before him, a curious quirk to her eyebrow. He takes a breath, frowning down at her. "Can I help you with something?"
She hums. Rocks back and forth on her feet. Shrugs. "Are we talking to Luke soon?"
"Yes," Seth says, remembering that that's why they're here. "Right." He sighs and turns in a slow circle until he orients himself, walking towards the cavern area. When he approaches, Luke appears in the entrance way and smiles slowly at them.
"Hello, everyone," he says. "It's good to see you. It has been quiet siince, but I know you're all eager to find a way back into the dark ocean to figure out how to get Dolph Ziggler free. I have been looking into it, and I believe I've figured out a way. Please follow me."
They fall into line, trailing after him to a small pedestal off to the side. "What is this?" Seth asks, frowning at it.
"It's another portal that I designed to be disconnected from the main portal system," he says. "Use your digivices to open it, and it should send you to the dark ocean without risking the other digiports."
Seth nods. "Thank you." He stands and stares at the device, running his thumb over his digivice. "Any advice?"
Luke's lips quirks and he shrugs. "Not really." He does glance over at Seth's digivice. "Did you notice anything different while you were on earth?"
"I did," he hedges. "Is that permanent?"
"It is," Luke says, nodding his head towards the portal. "So whenever you're in risky situations like this, you can at least communicate to try to get help. I know it's not ideal, but it's the best we've got for now."
"It's more than we had before," Seth shrugs. "Everyone ready?" he asks, turning to look at the others.
Silence follows, then, "Yes," choruses from the digidestined and their partners.
Seth nods to Luke, then steps forward. "Alright, let's do this then," he says, holding his digivice out to the portal. "Portal Open!" he calls out, relieved to feel the presence of his team right behind him.
