There's more sand caked into the creases of Dolph's digivice and Seth spends the time as they walk further down the beach scraping it off, which only frustrates him further as the grit gets under his fingernails. He's not sure what they should do, where they should go, but now that they have Ziggler's digivice, he knows now that Dolph is close and the desperation to find him, get him out of there, and go home back to the relative safety of earth eats at Seth.

He turns his head and finds Asuka examining him, silent, watchful. He stares back at her for a moment before handing the digivice to her. Her lips twitch up into some sort of a maddening grin and Seth exhales, hoping that giving her it was the right choice. Clears his hands up just in case they have to fight, though, so he shrugs it off and continues on.

He's forgotten how grim and quiet the place can be, struggling to blink against the dull light coming from overhead. Everything is grey, and he finds it hard to adjust his vision, but he tries, each step sluggish and slow through the thick sand. He listens to the others trudging behind him, breathing shallowly as he tries to keep his nerves in check. "Everyone good?" he calls back at one point, peering back at the line of wrestlers following along behind him.

"Yes," a chorus of voices echo back to him and he rotates some of the tension out of his shoulders, blinking and looking down as Asuka nudges the digivice back into his hands. Somehow, the device is completely clean and he blinks down at it for a moment, taking that in, before pocketing it and looking back up, nodding over at her thankfully.

She tilts her head at him before continuing to follow him. He's just barely turned the corner, trying to see through the gloom to see if he can spot something- anything- when something dark flashes before his vision and- pain tears down his side leaving him gasping. He falters and looks up, ears ringing, eyes stinging.

Beelzebubmon stands before him, blood dripping from his claws. "Fancy meeting you here," he says.

A minute later, Dolph himself steps out from his partner's shadow and quirks an eyebrow at Seth. "You shouldn't have come," he says in an emotionless tone, unimpressed by Seth and his wounds.
