It was early morning on Wondergore and RJ had just gotten back from another fun, all-night adventure but felt itchy not thinking much of it going to the kitchen to have breakfast but Herbert was staring at him making the male-kit wonder what was going on. "Herbie, I'm okay but just itchy for sone reason." he told him as he was drinking juice but Chance was also staring confusing RJ as he was feeling weird but tired as usual after a fun night heading to bed after breakfast.
"Rocket, sonebody has the pox as I saw it on him when he had breakfast, but he isn't noticing since he can't see his reflection plus he didn't finish his bowl which isn't normal." Rocket heard Herbert say making him get it. He remembered getting raccoon pix at RJ's age and infecting Herbert so he was heading to RJ's room noticing him scratching stopping him, before he gave himself scars.
"What's the big idea daddy, I'm itchy and probabky fleas." RJ said annoyed despite coughing making Rocket frown. "It's not fleas, it's something lil kits your age get and I know you can't see your reflection, but you're covered in red spots and why you're not feeling goid." Rocket explained putting pink liquid over RJ making him curious making Rocket smile. "It's lotion to ease the itching so you don't scratch and give yourself scars which would be bad." he told him.
RJ started giggling feverishly making Rocket concerned placing a paw on his boy's furry head feeling it was warm but let him rest seeing Kerry there asking if RJ was okay seeing Rocket shaking his head. "He has raccoon pox honey and needs rest but I got this." he told her seeing her leaving RJ's room.
"Rocket you should be careful, in case RJ infects you with his germs, like you did to me, when you had the pox and you infected me." he told him.
"I'm beingcareful plus the cybernetics protect me from germs." Rocket said drinking coffee making Herbert smirk as he knew he was being a father but hoped he wouldn't get sick because the pox was rough on adult raccoons plus Nebula would worry if he got sick. "Just be careful Rocket okay." Herbert told him.
"Awwww, you're covered in spits is adorable RJ, and guess you can't go on an adventure tonight with Chance and me but rest and we'll fill you in later." Eric said to RJ seeing the male-kit nodding but coughing covering his mouth so he wouldn't get them sick. "Don't worry, we'll fill you in on things when we get back so you just rest." Eric told RJ makingHerbert smile entering telling Chance and Eric they should let RJ rest.
"How's he doing, Dad and see that Chance and Eric were just hanging out with him. They'd better be careful unless they get his germs." Rocket said grinning as he'd gotten RJ ice cream from the parkiyr in the Wondergore mall which made Herbert smile at this noticing a few spots on him but not piubting it oht to him
