Yellow, Blue, Red, and Chosen follow suit as King reaches the trio of Green, Purple, and Second.

"Green! Are you...wait, Second?!"

"Hey, guys."

Red tackles him in a hug, crying his eyes out.

"Your alive!"

"Yeah, I'm alive. Me and Purple are alive."

Blue and Yellow hug him next. "Thank Alan your safe. We were so worried about you!"

"I'm fine, guys."

"We thought we lost you!" Green exclaimed.

"I know, I know. A lot of things are happening all at once. But I'm alive, and be grateful for that."

Red is still sobbing even after he says that. "Never do something like that again." He says softly.

"I won't. I promise."

He lets his four closest friends hug him tightly.

He's grateful to be alive, even if for a small time period.

Purple sighs as he watches the group of five reunite.

As if he had any friends that he could reunite with-

"PURPLE!"

So much for that statement.

King hugs him a second later.

"I thought I lost you..."

Even after King admitted to caring about him, it still shocked Purple to hear the real King actually be worried about him.

Hell, he was surprised the real King would even hug him.

Confused but grateful, Purple hugs him back. "I'm sorry..."

"Don't be. It's not your fault. But...I should be sorry...for getting you into this mess."

"King..."

"I'm so sorry. For everything. I didn't mean to hurt you..."

"You just didn't want to lose another person you cared about."

"I...I didn't. I should've told you how important you actually were to me beforehand...none of this would've happened."

"I know."

"I'm so sorry, Purple. For ever making you think I didn't care about you. I do care about you. I...I love you, kid. Your more like a son to me, and I couldn't be more thankful to have you in my life."

Purple smiles through tears. "I love you too, King."

King returns the smile, holding Purple's hand tightly. "I'm sorry for everything."

"I forgive you."

Chosen sighs, watching Second and Purple reunite with their loved ones.

It made him sad knowing he didn't have any love ones to reunite with.

"Chosen...?"

Wait...

What?

Chosen stared in shock, recognizing the voice.

The voice of his lifelong best friend.

"Dark?"

Dark smiled. "Yeah, it's me."

Chosen felt his eyes fill will tears. Letting his body run on autopilot, he runs up and hugs the man he hasn't seen in years.

"I missed you."

"Me too, Chosen. Me too."

"Listen, Dark, I'm sorry I started our fight. It wasn't intentional, I promise."

"I'm sorry for trying to kill you."

"It isn't your fault. Our Creator put that in your code. You can't fight it."

"I tried to. I tried so hard to fight it. I didn't want to hurt you. I'm so sorry, Chosen. For everything I've done to you."

"I know. I'm sorry too."

Second groaned and opened his eyes.

Being blinded by the whiteness of the area, he squinted them back shut.

"Purple?" He asked tiredly. Purple looked up at him, then at Dark.

"Are we...dead again?" Dark asked, his voice breaking ever so slightly. "Did we fail the mission?"

Second stared between them.

"Did I fail Chosen?"

"Quite the opposite, Dark. You all, have in face, completed the mission."

Second, Purple, and Dark all whipped their heads towards the voice, finding Victim floating above them.

"So are you...like, God now?" Dark asked jokingly.

"No, but I am here to inform you that you have completed the mission. Your are allowing to return to life and return home."

The trio looked at each other with happiness.

"WE DID IT!" Dark exclaimed, hugging Second and Purple, who both gladly returned the gesture.

It was then that Purple realized how much he actually meant to King now. How devastated he probably was right now.

He'd be able to hug him and tell him he wasn't going anywhere.

He wasn't going anywhere.

By this point, King had been inconsolable at the loss of Purple, for the second time, too.

The poor guy hadn't stopped sobbing since they had all disappeared, and nobody knew what to do.

"King, it's gonna be okay..."

"No the fuck it isn't!" King snapped, his eyes filling with tears once more. "Purple's gone! The kid that means so fucking much to me is dead!"

Chosen sighed sadly. "Dark's gone too."

Suddenly, the air was filled with orange, red, and purple particles.

"What the.."

And then those particles started forming stick figures.

One of those floated down into King's arms.

"Purple...Purple!"

Purple slowly opened his eyes. "K...King?"

King hugs him so tightly he fears he might've crushed his ribs. "Oh, Purple, thank goodness."

Purple hugs him back, smiling softly.

"I thought I lost you!" King sobs.

"It's okay. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere. I promise."

King presses his forehead to Purple's, still sobbing. "I love you so much, Purple. Your everything to me."

Purple's smile softens even more. "I love you too."

When Dark rematerializes, Chosen tackles him into a tight embrace.

"Dark! Your okay! Oh, thank Alan, I thought I had lost you for good!"

Dark holds Chosen as he cries. "I am so fucking sorry, Cho. I didn't mean for any of that to happen."

As Chosen calms down a little, he pulls away from the red stick and holds his hand. "It's okay, Dark. I know you didn't mean any harm to anyone. I'm just so glad your safe. I've been worried sick about you."

Dark smiles through tears. "Thank you." He whispers.

Chosen hugs him again. "I forgive you, Dark. You saved me."

Dark smiles, returning the hug. "Your important to me. Hell, your one of the most important things to me in this world. I'm not losing you."

Chosen tightens his hold. "I love you."

"I love you, too."

When Second materializes, hugs and tears are shared instantly as his four closest friends bombard him.

"Thank Alan your alive!"

"We were so worried!"

"Never do something like that again! You scared us half to death!"

"We thought we lost you!"

Second leans into the embrace, smiling.

Green breaks free to shake Second furiously. "NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! I SWEAR TO ALAN, WE COULD'VE LOST YOU FOREVER!"

Second knows it's out of love. He can sense the tint of great relief in his voice.

"I'm sorry I let you guys down...abandoning you like that was just as stupid. I'm sorry."

"Sec, you had no other choice. It was the only way to save Minecraft. You did the right thing."

"But...I couldn't protect you guys. I could've prevented all of this if I had protected all of you."

Green hugs him tighter. "You don't have to protect us all the time. We'll all be okay. All of us."

Second returns the hug, letting everyone else join the embrace.

"We love you, Second. We always will."

Second barely realized tears fell down his cheeks, but refused to acknowledge them.

"I love you all, too."

Chosen should have known that their battle wouldn't be over yet.

About eighty percent of the entire group was scared of Dark. Very. Scared.

King and Purple, who had never met either of them(and had their own problems to deal with), were the only two not scared of Dark, although King was still a little weary of Dark...for reasons Chosen could easily guess.

Second didn't seem to threatened, given Dark had just helped them, but his friends hid behind him and King as human shields.

Purple just stared in confusion.

"..Am I supposed to know who these two are, or is someone going to tell me what's going on?"

"News flash, bud. Their terrorists." Green muttered.

Second stared at his friend. "Green, they just helped me and Purple get back here. You don't trust them?"

"He killed us!"

"He's the fucking Dark Lord!"

"I know, I know," Dark started, moving past Chosen. King then pushed Purple closer to him, and the others backed up farther. "Yes, we're all aware that I am The Dark Lord, internet renowned terrorist that's been dead for who the hell knows how long."

"...So were you just wandering around in that forest until me and Second ran into you?" Purple asked.

"...More or less."

"How long were you doing that? It took me less than five minutes to get sick of that place!"

Purple shot him a glare. "It's a forest, Second."

"Still! I hated it in there!"

"And how do you think I was faring?!"

Dark stopped counting. "About a year or two, maybe."

Purple and Second stared at each other.

"You missed the portal twice?" Second asked.

"Somehow, yes. Not even sure how you two found it."

"Don't know. I found Purple, we ran into you, and here we are!"

"...Whatever."

Dark and Chosen go back to what's left of their old base, where there's still a giant hole in the wall from the Virus to ALANSPC.

Dark looks regretful about it, but it's dissipated by an arm wrapped around his shoulder.

"Don't worry. We'll fix it together! We'll fix the house, and everything will be just fine! Right?"

Dark can muster up a small smile. To make Chosen happy.

"Right."

The week after, Dark lays in his bed, staring up at the ceiling, everything going around in his head without the thought of stopping.

He spared a glance at Chosen, laying on the ground beside him, sound asleep. As he has been for the past couple of hours.

But Dark can't sleep. He wants to, but everything keeps him up.

Can he even do this?

Can he even stay under the same roof as Chosen, without the looming thought of trying to kill him?

Can he?

He's spent so long dead, he doesn't even know what to do to make everything better.

Maybe the last thing Dark will ever remember about his evil career is getting his ass royally beat by a child, but he doesn't care.\

The next thing he remembers is falling into a dark abyss.

He's never been scared of the dark, that's for babies, but he's really fucking scared right now.

Chosen is gone, and suddenly he's hit with a wave of regret he can't get over.

Chosen is gone, and suddenly, he regrets everything.

Regret of what he's done seeps into him.

He hurt Chosen.

He hurt innocent kids.

He killed innocent kids.

What had he done?

He doesn't deserve to go to Heaven, so why is he here?

Did the universe play a cruel joke on him by sending him here? Probably.

The damned orange kid...maybe he'd join him one day?

Probably not. He's cursed to roam here forever.

Then he heard of the day of Surrection. A chance to come back to life.

A chance to apologize to Chosen.

He doesn't care about if it's real or not. He wants, needs, to apologize to Chosen for everything he's done.

So he travels that distance, not even caring about the time limit he has.

Trauma bouts be damned. He's apologizing to Chosen.

He doesn't make it.

He's far from the portal when it closes.

He doesn't make it out of the trauma bout. He succumbs to it. His trauma, pain, and regret have caught up with him.

But apologizing to Chosen in some type of way will still be his number one mission.

He will apologize to Chosen, one way or another.

How long has he been here?

Or how big is the forest, for that matter?

He's been in here for God knows how long, and it's driving him insane.

His trauma has kept him from escaping, and he's gonna be here for who knows how long.

No matter what, he'll never reach the top and overcome it. He cant even get past his own guilt.

"If only Chosen was here." He said to himself. "He'd know what to do..."

Chosen. His best friend and brother. Yeah, he'd know what to do.

Chosen may have been shy, but he always knew what to do. He was shy, but brave.

Dark admired that in him. He could be shy, but brave in the face of danger.

Dark didn't know what he'd do without Chosen, but his recent actions proved what he could do without him.

Murder. Violence. Destruction.

He'd caused all of that, and the regret he was currently living with fucking hurt.

What if Chosen had been one of the people he'd killed?

Oh, he'd never be able to live with himself if he'd killed Chosen.

Never for the rest of his life.

"Oh, Chosen, I am so sorry..."

The regret is strong, painful.

And Dark can't take it anymore.

Dark can't stay here.

He can't stay because he'll hurt Chosen.

He can't stay because he doesn't want to hurt Chosen.

And he doesn't want to do that.

He cares about Chosen.

He loves Chosen.

So he climbs out of bed as quietly as he can, jumps out of a window, and fires himself up into the sky.

Far away.

Where he can't hurt Chosen.

Or anyone else.
