Why does he have to be so fucking CUTE.

Victim really wants to shut the thoughts up, because one, they make zero fucking sense, and two, he has better things to do than focus on why Agent has to look so cute while he does stuff.

They'd finally gotten all of the giant monsters taken care of, and everyone was back in their original dimensions.

Meaning Victim and the others were left to deal with the injuries and aftermath. Luckily, they weren't terrible. Most people only had bruises and scratches and minor head injuries, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Still not good, but it could be worse.

If Victim were being honest, he owed his life to Purple right then. Somehow, he had gotten into the giant monster, defeated it entirely, and was still alive.

Goddamn, Purple was awesome.

...and being coddled. Which, in Victim's opinion, was adorable.

King hadn't let him go since they'd escaped the monster and taken refuge in Rocket Corp., which was understandable. Purple had almost died...quite a few times, ended up in another dimension, been thrown through a building, and Kimg was coddling him.

And it was adorable.

Agent snuck up behind him. "Vic!"

Victim jumped, automatically throwing his hands up in defense.

"Hey! Chill out. It's just me."

It was Agent. Thank. God.

"Oh. Sorry." Victim lowered his hands, backing up a little bit.

Calm the fuck down, God damn you.

"I heard what happened back in town. Are all of you okay?" Agent asks with a justifiable, but suffocating, amount of concern it just makes Victim want to suffer.

Instead, he chooses to answer. "Me, King, and Maroon all made it out mostly unscathed, as did the counterparts...which you know little about. Purple's currently being examined for his slightly more advanced injuries from being hurled between dimensions and almost killed by...giant fleshy...whatevers."

"Oh. So that's why King's been coddling him and treating him like a child the entire time."

"For you information, Agent," Victim soothes his voice. "Purple is technically still a child-"

"He is fifteen."

"A child. And second off, King's been coddling him." Victim's mind flashes to the point of King refusing to let Purple go, at all, while they escaped the chaos known to them as the Monoliths.

Agent watched the two bicker in the background for a little while.

"Daaaaaaad-"

"Purple."

"Dad. Stop. I'm fine."

"Purple, please, just hold still!"

"King!"

Victim smiled at the two bickering.

"Do those two stop?"

"They stop when King finally stops coddling Purple."

"Never gonna happen."

"Fair."

Dude.

Stop being so cute what the fuck-

A crash sounded from behind Agent. "Shit. Sorry. I-" The two made eye contact for less than a second before Agent looked at the ground. "I'll see you later."

And with that, he was off.

Victim ignored the heat rising to his cheeks and went over to King and Purple, who were still bickering. "King. Chill."

"You even said he had a concussion!"

"And your going to make it worse by riling him up. Calm down."

Purple shoved King's hands away from his head, laying back down on his bed. "Thank you!"

"I don't really mind the fact that your coddling your child, but Purple needs rest. Especially after fighting a bunch of fleshy monsters in another dimension."

"It wasn't that bad!"

"Purple, get some rest. It'll open up some things for King to do instead of hovering and coddling."

"Victim-"

"Purple is fifteen. Let him rest. He'll be here when you need him, I promise. Just come help me with some things. Okay?"

Purple gave his dad a small smile before King finally relented. "Fine." He let go of Purple's hand and walked past Victim to go help Maroon. Victim gave Purple a smirk before joining him.

"So. What's with you and Agent?" Maroon asked.

"Shut up."

"Mar!"

"What?!"

Victim noted how much adults acted like children sometimes.

"I'm just saying! You two are being far too obvious and oblivious at the same time!"

"No. We. Aren't. Me and Agent are just close friends. Calm down."

"Pfff. Close friends." He put air quotes around the two words, only stopping when King elbowed him. "Ow!"

"Dude. Chill out."

"Oh, come on! They're obviously crushing on each other!"

"We are not!"

"Vic, your blushing."

King smiled, going back to sorting some of their medical supplies. "He's not wrong."

"King! You traitor!"

"Hey, if I can't tease Purple, I'll tease my other friends."

"You little-Wait, why can't you tease Purple?"

"Shows little interest in a relationship, and I am totally fine with it."

"Aw, come on! Can't your best friend tease him a little?" Maroon asked.

"No. Tease Victim about his crush on Agent."

"I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM!" Victim blurted out. Most of the room went silent, which didn't help his already heated cheeks.

Maroon and King gave each other glances, before bursting into giggles.

"I hate you both."

"We love you too, Vic."

"Oooooh, Agent's got a little crush~!" Hunter teased and she and Agent walked around the building, tending to some of the injured residents.

"I. Do. Not." Agent grumbled back to her.

"You have a crush on Victim. You can't deny it." She said, ramming him in the arm.

"Hunt, if you say it one more time, he's gonna hear it-"

"Hear what?"

FuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuck-

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck-

"Hey, Vic!" Hunter greeted.

"Hey, guys. Anyone know where we keep the spare bandages?"

"Yeah. They're with the rest of the medical supplies we stashed in a storage room."

"...Right."

Victim slauntered past them, ignoring Agent's internal panic.

"See! Not so bad, was it?" Hunter said, skipping into another room, leaving Agent by himself.

Damn you Hunter.

Hunter skidded to a stop, before turning and looking back at Agent. "What? You having a gay panic or something?"

Agent stared at him, his cheeks still burning hot.

"Awww, someone's blushing!"

"Shut. Up."
