Lapis woke his friends up and they met him in his room.

"What's so important that couldn't wait?" Qrow asked.

"Nyx messaged me." Lapis said.

"What was the message?" Coco asked and Lapis showed them all. "...Numbers and spaces?"

"That's how his mother sent coded messages." Qrow said. "Simple but effective. My team and hers learned the code thanks to Sapphire."

"She never got the chance to teach me, but Holly made sure to do that. I helped the girls learn my mother's code as well and now we use the code to communicate."

"What's the message say?" Clover asked.

Lapis turned to Ruby, Jaune, and Coco. "Watts and Merlot brainwashed our teammates. Nyx was able to free Ember and Magenta and they're waiting for us to get there."

They all nodded.

"Can they try to free the others?" Ruby asked.

"Hang on." Lapis said then sent a coded to message to Ember and Magenta's disposable Scrolls, asking if they're alone and he soon got a coded message from Ember and Magenta. Lapis then asked her if she and the girls would be able to free the others and two replied replied.

"Magenta and Ember said they can try. They release Onyx every night to 'hunt her' until sunrise."

"Tell them that we'll need to know about any ways onto the island that avoid detection." Clover said.

Lapis relayed the message and got a reply from Magenta.

"Magenta said there are motion sensors a few miles off coast and security cameras on the island but until tonight, she won't know any other means of detection."

Clover nodded.

"That still leaves us with the issue of getting on the island." Robyn said.

Lapis looked at Qrow, who frowned.

"Absolutely not!" He said, seeming to know what the Faunus was thinking.

"You have a better idea? Besides, being in an altered state of mind or her normal state of mind shouldn't have damaged it in any way." Lapis said.

The older Huntsman sighed. "Gimme a sec." He said then pulled out his Scroll and made a call as he stepped outside. "Raven, it's me." He said then the door closed.

"How would Yang's mom be able to help?" Jaune asked.

"Her Semblance. She can bond to certain people and that lets her create a portal that leads her to them. She has one for Tai, one for Qrow., one for Onyx...and one for Yang." Lapis explained.

"So if Yang is freed and given a heads up..." Winter started.

"...then Yang is our best way onto the island!" Ruby finished.

"Exactly." Lapis said as Qrow came in and all eyes turned to him.

"Raven said she'll do it." He said and everyone nodded.

Lapis told Ember and Magenta to try and free Yang tonight and they replied to his message. "The girls said they'll start with Yang and free as many as they can tonight."

"I say we wait until they're all freed from the brainwashing." Clover said.

"I agree. It's best we wait." Winter said.

Ember visited Onyx's cell. "Lapis has a plan, but it's gonna require freeing the others tonight. As many as we can." She knowing, knowing the cameras didn't record audio.

Onyx nodded slightly.

"She's your cousin, so you get Yang. Magenta and I will focus on the others...so long as there are a few...distractions beforehand."

"Okay. For once, I'm looking forward to tonight." Onyx said. "Until then, baby."

Ember nodded then dropped off some food for Onyx and walked away.

Onyx ate the food that was brought to her.

Ember and Magenta soon saw each other and hid from a nearby camera.

"It might not hurt to try and get a jumpstart on freeing our friends. Just in case." Magenta said/signed.

Ember nodded. "Agreed. You take Nora, I'll get Yatsu. Onyx will handle Yang tonight." She said/signed.

Magenta nodded then the two walked in opposite directions. Magenta soon saw Nora walking by herself and acted calmly until close enough then pushed her into an unoccupied room and pinned her against the door.

"Nora, listen to me. This isn't you. You're a brave and selfless person! Can you really stand to see Onyx suffer the way she is?!" Magenta asked, not wasting any time.

Something in Nora's eyes changed and when she stopped fighting, Magenta slowly let go and stepped back.

Nora turned to her and hugged the Faunus, who hugged back.

When the two pulled away, Magenta looked at her. "Are you...?" She started.

Nora nodded. "I'm myself again. Thanks to you." She replied/signed.

Magenta smiled and nodded. "Lapis told us to free the others before they can get out here to this island. They're your teammates, so you try to free Pyrrha and Ren tonight. And maintain the personality they programmed us with to keep them fooled until we can get some backup."

Nora nodded.

Ember had just freed Yatsuhashi, who smiled softly at her. "Thank you, Ember." He said.

She smiled back and nodded. "No worries. Think you can get through to Velvet and Fox tonight?" She asked.

He nodded. "Leave them to me. I know them as well as Coco."

She nodded back. "We can't give away the fact that we're ourselves again. At least until Lapis gets here with Ruby, Jaune, Coco, Clover, Robyn, Qrow, and Winter."

"No problem."

The two went their separate ways after that.

Onyx felt the worry from Nora and Yatsuhashi as well as her teammates now and sighed with relief. "Two heavy hitters freed. One more to go. I just hope I'm enough to get through to Yang." She thought aloud.

"If not, I intend to free Blake tonight. Magenta said she can handle Weiss." Ember said, causing Onyx to look at her.

"Be careful, baby."

"I will. I'm a feline Faunus as well. I can handle your future cousin-in-law."

Onyx nodded then Ember headed off again.

Onyx took a deep breath and prepared herself for a dangerous fight.
