Shark Tale has always been one of my favorite animated films to watch ever since childhood and I still enjoy watching the movie so much, and since I love Shark Tale so much, I decided to do a whole sixteen-part miniseries version of the movie that serves as a whole retelling of the movie which is known as When A Little Fish Tells A Great White Lie that has brand new scenes, brand new characters, brand new locations, different dialogue. Episode 2: Being A Somebody
Chapter 1: Destined For Respect
Later on that day at the Whale Wash, after Oscar's scheme of selling the thousands of bottled sparkling water has failed to the other employees of the Whale Wash which are the fish employees, the crab employees, the electric eel employees, the flounder employees, the jellyfish employees, the sea otter employees, and the sea turtle employees as well as Johnson, Phoebe, Gerald, Myrtle, Wendell, and Hayley, Oscar has given back all of the money that he has made with the sparkling water and he has gone broke once again, much to his dismay, and his three childhood best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina as well as his both Sykes and both of Sykes' two henchmen were very disappointed in him for carrying out his latest get-rich-quick scheme as much as everybody else are once they have found out his true intentions.
Also, since Oscar has lost all of the money that he has made with the sparkling water, he is being forced to add the sparkling water to the outdoor cafe of the Whale Wash where the many employees would have their break times from all of the hard work they would usually do at the Whale Wash along with the help of Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina under the orders of Sykes as well as his two henchmen Ernie and Bernie, and they all work together to put into the concession stand along with the many foods and beverages that are being served at the outdoor cafe such as meatless cheeseburgers, meatless hot dogs, meatless submarine sandwiches, meatless chicken sandwiches, meatless tacos, meatless burritos, meatless nachos, meatless quesadillas, meatless fried chicken, meatless nuggets, meatless pizza, meatless spaghetti, french fries, tater tots, potato wedges, onion rings, Coral-Cola, Dr. Pearl, Spout, H2Up, Sunfishkist, Minnow Maid, and smoothies in different flavors.
While they help out Oscar with adding the thousands of sparkling water to the concession stand of the Whale Wash outdoor care under the orders of Sykes and his two henchmen Ernie and Bernie and are very disappointed in him for carrying out his latest get-rich-quick scheme by selling all of the sparkling water to their many co-workers as much as everybody else does, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina express their sympathy towards Oscar of the main reason why he pulled off his latest get-rich-quick scheme is to be respected by others by becoming rich and famous in order to do so since he doesn't get that much respect from everybody else from their fellow co-workers while they still do show him some kindness, and they felt bad for him so much due to not getting that much respect from others and they already know that they have always known him a lot of respect since they've always been his best friends since childhood.
"At least these sparkling water will become a brand new item on the menu of the Whale Wash outdoor cafe, guys." said Oscar. "You know, one of the best places to take a break from all of our hard work as employees of the Whale Wash."
"True, but since you've pulled that stunt to sell all of that sparkling water to your fellow employees, you gotta put them in this confession stand," said Sykes. "Everybody would still enjoy the sparkling water that you have ordered since it will become part of the Whale Wash outdoor cafe even though you attempted to sell it to them without my permission to do so since I'm the boss of this business and even attempted to make money off of them as well."
"Sykes, I'm really sorry for what I attempted to do, and I was only doing it so I could finally make it big one of these days." explained Oscar. "You see, I've always hoped that I would somehow be able to make it big for my whole life, and pulling off that kind of scheme was helping me out with what I needed to do in the future. My own future."
"Look, Oscar, I don't need you to make any excuses of what you're gonna do in the future which is somehow making it big by making a whole lot of money." said Sykes.
"What? I'm not trying to make some kind of excuse, and what I'm saying is absolutely true. I've been dreaming of becoming rich for a very long time." said Oscar.
"Alright, but you still didn't need to do all of that to make it happen," said Sykes.
"Actually, I do need to do it, and I've been hoping to become very rich and famous all my life and I could finally have my chance to do so," said Oscar.
"Well, how you're trying to become very rich and famous is downright pathetic, especially when you keep pulling off these get-rich-quick schemes sometimes during your own job," said Sykes.
"It isn't pathetic, Sykes, and I really need to do this so I can finally…" said Oscar just tried to explain, but Sykes interrupted him.
"That's enough, Oscar!" exclaimed Sykes.
"But, Sykes, could you at least understand the main reason why I wanna become rich and famous is all 'cause
"I get it already and I already told you that's enough! Now continue putting all of this sparkling water at the concession stand along with those three friends of yours!" exclaimed Sykes.
"Okay, okay, okay! I'll do it, Mr. Sykes! I'll do it!" exclaimed Oscar. "And it's a good thing that Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina are helping me put all of these in the concession stand of the outdoor cafe, the greatest place to have a break from working so hard at the Whale Wash."
"It's very true that this outdoor care is one of the best places to take a break from all of your own hard work, and I hope that you wouldn't pull off any more shenanigans today." said Sykes.
"Don't worry about that, and I'll just make sure that I'll do my job at the Whale Wash like I'm supposed to along with everybody else," said Oscar.
"You better be, and the next time you attempt to pull off a scheme just like the one you did earlier, you're gonna face some serious consequences." said Sykes. "You'll be answering to my two henchmen Ernie and Bernie."
"You heard the boss, mon!" said Ernie.
"Do your work or else!" said Bernie.
"Okay, and I'll make sure of it very well, boss." said Oscar just as he nervously did a salute.
"I'll see ya later, and if you need me, I'll be in my office doing my own job as the owner of this whole local business," said Sykes.
"Bye, Sykes. And bye, Ernie and Bernie." said Oscar nervously.
"Yeah right, you slacking fish." said Bernie.
"Don't mention it at all, you slacker." said Ernie.
"Oh, and by the way, don't try to slack off your own job and just do your own work like you're supposed to!" said Sykes.
"You know I don't slack off at all, and I've done a lot of hard work in this kind of job," said Oscar.
"Well, sometimes you do, and it's very true that you've always worked very hard during your job too." said Sykes. "Honestly, I do praise how much you've been putting too much of a good effort into doing your own work around here, and since you've been working so hard as a tongue scrubber, maybe you'll get some kind of promotion. Good luck and see ya later."
"We'll be very proud if you do get a promotion, mon. If it's ever gonna happen one of these days." said Ernie just as he laughed mockingly.
"We're all just gonna have to wait and see if you ever get a promotion for all you've done so far, and we would like to see it happen." said Bernie just as he laughed mockingly.
Sykes then leave the Whale Wash outdoor cafe along with Ernie and Bernie, and he began heading right back to his office along with his two faithful jellyfish henchmen so he could get started on doing his own work as the owner of the local Whale Wash of Southside Reef while he was very annoyed by how much Oscar has been pulling off so many get-rich-quick schemes while he has been doing his own job as an employee of the local business and honestly did praise him doing a lot of hard work being a tongue scrubber which would end up earning him a promotion for all of the hard work he has done so far. Just as Sykes began heading right back to his office along with Ernie and Bernie, Oscar continues putting all of the sparkling water that he has ordered from earlier along with the help of his three childhood best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina who are very disappointed in carrying out his latest get-rich-quick scheme as much as Sykes and everybody else are when they found out the truth.
Also, while they are very disappointed in Oscar for attempting to make a lot of money off the thousands of sparkling water by selling it to all of their fellow co-workers of the Whale Wash as much as Sykes and everybody else are, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina express their sympathy towards Oscar for the reason why he has pulled off his latest get-rich-quick scheme in order to become rich and famous is because of how everybody else who works at the Whale Wash doesn't show him that much respect at all, even when he has the job of being a tongue scrubber, but they still show him some kindness and does praise him for all of the hard work he has done lately as a tongue scrubber. So, since they express sympathy for Oscar and his main motivation to become rich and famous in order to get respect from others, they began to comfort him while they scold him for attempting to pull off his many get-rich-quick schemes.
"Oscar, this is the twelfth get-rich-quick scheme that you've pulled off so far during your job right here at the Whale Wash." said Sabrina.
"Actually, he pulled off at least sixteen get-rich-quick schemes so far when he is doing his own hard work, guys." said Nelson.
"No, I'm sure that he actually pulled off twenty get-rich-quick schemes. It was actually twenty of them, and he has been working here for so long that he managed to do twenty." said Angie.
"Ang, Nel, Brina, all of those schemes that I've pulled off to become so rich are far more than twelve, sixteen, or twenty." replied Oscar. "I did so many get-rich-quick schemes ever since I got a job at the Whale Wash, and I honestly never could make each of them work out somehow."
"You're right, none of them turned out the way you expected them to be," said Nelson.
"They've always become very unsuccessful and totally went down the toilet." said Sabrina.
"Even the scheme that you've pulled off today which is selling all of those sparkling water to everybody and it also proved to be a huge flop too." said Angie.
"Next, when I do another get-rich-quick scheme at the Whale Wash, it's gonna be way so much better than the last ones I've done before." said Oscar.
"Will you please stop pulling off these many schemes of trying to become very rich for once, Oscar? Sheesh." said Sabrina.
"I really have a good idea to somehow pull this off the next time we're working here together and I hope this latest scheme won't fail me this time at all." said Oscar.
"Well, you should at least give all of those schemes to become very rich a break for once. For Pete's sake, it's getting really annoying." said Nelson.
"But I really need to do the schemes so I could someday make my dreams of being so rich some true, and it's not just that, it's to get respect from others for once too, y'all." said Oscar.
"Look, you really don't need to do them at all, Oscar, and you should just do your own job at the Whale Wash and you've always been very good at doing this job no matter what." said Angie.
"True, I am really good at having this kind of job, but someday, I'm gonna be so rich, and when I become so rich, I'll finally be respected by everybody else," said Oscar.
"You've always told us that. You've been telling us that ever since we used to be little kids and we've been best friends for a very long time." said Sabrina.
"That's right, we've been best friends ever since our childhood, and it's 'cause of what I've been through during our childhood together besides what I've been through during work," said Oscar.
"All of us already know what you've always been through, and it doesn't mean you should become rich in order to make your dreams of getting respect come true," said Angie.
"Yes, it does, and if I don't make my lifelong dreams come true somehow, then I'm still gonna be nothing but a huge laughingstock to everybody else as a tongue scrubber." said Oscar.
"We strongly understand that you have gone through some very harsh experiences for so long, but it's not true that you're a laughingstock." said Angie.
"Guys, I am a laughingstock, and the only way it could stop is if I become rich and famous someday. I really need it to stop somehow." said Oscar.
"Oh, Oscar, we're…we're really sorry for what you've been through for so long ever since we used to be little kids." said Angie.
"That's okay." said Oscar.
"But you please must understand that none of what you just said isn't true at all." said Angie.
"Well…it is true," said Oscar.
Then, Oscar continued to feel very dejected over the fact of how much he doesn't get that much respected at all from his fellow co-workers even though they do show him some kindness and praise him for all of the hard work he has done which will somehow earn him a promotion someday, and he still intends on making his dream of becoming very rich and famous in order to get the respect that he yearns for while he also even remembers that not only he is not being respected by everybody else at the Whale Wash as nothing but a tongue scrubber, he didn't get that much respect during childhood either which made him even more dejected than before just as he and his three best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina continued working together to put up all of the sparkling water that he has ordered from earlier at the concession stand at the Whale Wash outdoor cafe after it became part of the menu.
While Oscar was in a state of complete dejection and continued putting up all of the thousands of sparkling water at the concession stand of the outdoor cafe with the help of Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina continued to feel very bad for Oscar due to all he has been through which isn't getting respect from everybody else at the Whale Wash and even during their childhood together while they can be very exasperated by how he kept pulling off so many get-rich-quick schemes in order to make his dream of becoming a very rich and famous person come true, and they all wish that he could somehow see that he wouldn't let his own insecurities get the best of him and understand that he is already perfect just the way he is just as they continued to feel very bad for him.
Soon, Oscar and his three best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina got finished with putting up all of the thousands of sparkling water at the concession stand of the outdoor cafe together under their boss Sykes' orders right after Oscar's latest scheme of becoming very rich and famous has failed once everybody has found out about his intentions to sell the sparkling water to all of them, and they prepare to continue their own jobs at the Whale Wash along with their co-workers, but before they could do so, they all witness the such amazing view of the Whale Wash together, and it made Oscar remind him of how his late father Earl as well as his late mother Regina used to tell him all about the Whale Wash during his childhood and the other Whale Wash businesses that exists throughout the Atlantic Ocean while Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina attempts to inform Oscar that having a job at the Whale Wash isn't all that bad at all and proves to be a very interesting job to have while he kept having his insecurities due to what he has been through for so long, much to the dismay of Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina.
"Doesn't the view of the Whale Wash look really awesome, guys?" asked Oscar.
"Yes, it does look very wonderful, Oscar." said Nelson.
"We really enjoy such a totally fantastic view of the place," said Sabrina.
"Every time we see the view, we all become very amazed by it so much." said Angie.
"Also, the whole view reminds me of what my own dad Earl has told me everything about the Whale Wash." said Oscar.
"Really? It reminds of how your own father used to tell you how the whole business turned out?" asked Angie in surprise.
Oscar nodded. "He has always told me all about it when he would get off of work from here, and I already knew he has always worked here ever since I used to be a little kid." said Oscar.
"You know, homie, we've always known that your father told you all about the Whale Wash, and you've told us about it as well." said Nelson.
"Also, my mom has told me all about it during childhood too, and she worked as a housewife while my dad worked at the Whale Wash while we would go to school together." said Oscar.
"We've always remembered about how your dad has always told you everything about the Whale Wash, and including your mom told you about it too, homie." said Nelson.
"That's 'cause we've always been best friends ever since childhood and we've always done everything together such as being there for each other and supporting each other." said Angie.
"True, and Ang, Nel, Brina, my dad has always been working so hard doing his job just like I've been myself…and I praise all he has done in his job after all those years." said Oscar.
"Oscar, we praise your dad's hard work at this place as much as we praise your hard work around here." said Sabrina.
"Thank you very much, y'all." said Oscar
"Also, your mother is just as great as your father was so great." Nelson.
"Both of your own parents are the greatest ever." said Angie.
"Yeah, my dad is one of the greatest people ever besides my mom, and they're the best parents that anybody could ever ask for." said Oscar. "
"My own mother and father are the best too." said Sabrina.
"My parents are really amazing as well." said Nelson
"And my own parents are so fantastic too." said Angie.
"All of our own dads and moms are absolutely the greatest. They really were." said Oscar.
"Oh, and by the way, we already know that both of your parents have sadly passed away sometime later," said Nelson.
"We know that both of them have died from some causes, and it was really sad over your losses," said Angie.
"That's very true, and both my dad and my mom have died from old age, guys." said Oscar.
"We're really gonna miss your dad so much and he will be missed," said Sabrina.
"And we're really gonna miss your mother too, homie, and may she rest in peace." said Nelson.
"I've always missed my dad and mom so much, and they both passed away before we began working at the Whale Wash together," said Oscar. "We're all gonna miss them so much."
"Not only you lost your parents, and we all lost our own parents too and we miss them as much as you do." said Sabrina.
"I've lost my parents when they got very elderly." said Angie.
"My own parents have died from being way too old too." said Nelson.
"The same thing goes to my own parents as well." said Sabrina.
"And I'm gonna miss each of y'all's parents as much as I miss my own parents." said Oscar.
"But look on the bright side, even though each of us has lost each of our own parents, they'll always live in each of our hearts no matter what." said Angie
"Yes, and we take good care of ourselves, we take good care of each other, and we would even take good care of anybody else too." said Sabrina.
"Actually, that's the way of life in the whole ocean, and going through losses is one of the hardest things ever." said Nelson.
"We do have a lot of things in common such as losing our own parents, and we already know that the ones we already know have gone through the same thing," said Angie.
"Mmm-hmm, and here's something else guys." said Oscar. "Since my dad as well as my mom has always told me about the Whale Wash, I've managed to learn that there's more than one Whale Wash in the Atlantic Ocean."
"You're right, and each of those Whale Washes are different from the Whale Wash that is located right here in the Southside Reef." said Angie.
"They're in the many other reefs that are very distant from the reef we all live in together for our whole lives," said Nelson.
"And the reason why it makes it so different from this one in this reef is 'cause it's frequented by other kinds of whale species," said Sabrina.
"We already know that the usual customers of the Whale Wash of Southside Reef are the sperm whales," said Oscar.
"The usual customers of the Whale Wash of Northside Reef are the humpback whales," said Nelson.
"The usual customers of the Whale Wash of Eastside Reef are the right whales," said Angie.
"The usual customers of the Whale Wash of Westside Reef are the sei whales," said Sabrina.
"And the usual customers of the Whale Wash of Central Reef are the gray whales," said Oscar.
"Oh, and by the way, the other international reefs in the ocean world have their own Whale Washes in order to clean up the different kinds of whales too." said Angie.
"Including the local Blue Whaleports have their own Whale Washes in order to have the Blue Whale planes cleaned up as well." said Oscar. "And the blue whales are the biggest creatures in the whole ocean world."
"Everything about the Whale Wash is very interesting to learn about ever since it is used to help out the whale species with their own personal hygiene when they need it." said Nelson.
"And it has always been around since all the whales really needed to get cleaned up as much as everybody else has to keep themselves cleaned up and it's very awesome." said Sabrina.
"True, but it's still the place where I would usually be disrespected by others, mostly 'cause of the job that I'm stuck with." said Oscar.
"Oscar, it's true that our co-workers do disrespect you, but they still show you some kindness and having this kind of job is actually very exciting." said Angie.
"But they still don't show me that much respect. The only way I can ever be respected is to become rich and famous." said Oscar. "Someday, I'm gonna be able to make a lot of money and somehow make it big, and I'll finally be respected just like I've always dreamed about ever since what I've been through having this job and what I've been through during our childhood."
"Look, you really need to understand that you don't need to…" said Angie just as he tried to explain, but Oscar interrupted her..
"Guys, let's just continue with each of our jobs right here at the Whale Wash, and if we don't get back to work, we're gonna get in big trouble with Sykes for sure." said Angie.
"You're right." said Nelson.
"Let's do it." said Sabrina.
"Alright then," said Angie.
Oscar, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina continued staring at the amazing view of the Whale Wash for a moment, and then they quickly went back there so they could continue doing all of their hard work like they're supposed to while Oscar continued to feel very insecure about himself due to how he has always been disrespected by his own co-workers at the Whale Wash even though they do show him much kindness and he still intends on becoming very rich and famous in order to get the respect that he yearns for. Also, while Oscar was still very insecure due to being disrespected by others at the Whale Wash and still hopes of making his dreams of becoming rich and famous in order to be finally respected, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina felt very bad for Oscar so much and wishes that he would understand the fact that he really didn't need to become rich and famous in order to become respected by others somehow.
Soon, while Oscar and his three best friends Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina are preparing to head back to their own jobs at the Whale Wash after Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina has helped out Oscar with putting all of the sparkling water at the concession stand of the Whale Wash outdoor cafe as the brand new item on the menu after Oscar's latest attempt to become rich and famous has been foiled once everybody has found out his true intentions to sell them all the sparkling water which is to make money off of them, they are all suddenly confronted by their fellow co-workers Pontrelli, Knuckles, Dwight, Vivian, Quincy, and Tamika who works with Oscar at the tongue scrubbing section, Gerald and Myrtle who works at the radio broadcasting station of the Whale Wash, Wendell and Hayley who work with Nelson at the Whale Wash dental section, and Johnson who works at the control tower of the Whale Wash and Phoebe who serves as the plumber, and their co-workers proceed to criticize Oscar for pulling off his get-rich-quick scheme as well as accusing him of being so clumsy which isn't true at all while Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina attempt to defend him.
"Oh, look who it is! The one who started that whole situation earlier" said Dwight.
"It's the fish who tricked us all into buying those sparkling water!" said Tamika.
"Yes, it's Oscar the tongue scrubber who is downright klutzy!" said Vivian.
"Or we like to call the klutzy tongue scrubber in the business ever!" said Quincy.
"You really owe us big time for pulling off that stunt from before!" said Knuckles.
"We're totally gonna make you regret selling us those things without the boss' permission!" said Pontrelli.
"Look, I was just trying to do something very kind for my fellow employees, that's all!" said Oscar.
"But it turns out you were only doing that act of kindness in order to get each of our own money!" exclaimed Phoebe.
"Yeah, you almost got us fooled with your own idea to sell all of that sparkling water and we should've known that sooner!" said Johnson.
"I couldn't help it, and you're right, but you must understand I really understand that I was only doing it to make it big one of these days." said Oscar.
"If you really wanna make it big, you should at least do it right away just like everybody else would, genius." said Myrtle.
"Oh, and since you almost got away with that stunt, it really makes you really clumsy," said Gerald.
"What? Am I clumsy?!" asked Oscar.
"Yeah, and you can be very clumsy when it comes to you coming up with schemes like the one you pulled off," said Johnson.
"Even when you're doing your own work as nothing but a tongue scrubber at the tongue scrubbing section of the Whale Wash." said Phoebe.
"You guys…you guys I'm not clumsy! Not at all! And I am just as good at doing my own job as a tongue scrubber and I've been working very hard as a tongue scrubber too!" said Oscar.
"Yeah, and since you've been working so hard on your own job, you might get a promotion one of these days," said Hayley.
"Maybe you getting a promotion for your own hard work will happen someday, and if you do get a promotion, then maybe you'll make it big if you get a big paycheck from Sykes." said Wendell.
"But we guess that you making it big wouldn't happen at all 'cause you're still stuck in this kind of job like all of us are stuck in it." said Knuckles.
"Honestly, if you ever somehow make it big, Oscar, then maybe you can be noticed much more than before, especially for all you've done at your own job." said Pontrelli.
"Guys, will you please leave Oscar alone? You should at least understand that he had a good reason to pull off that stunt from earlier today at work." said Nelson.
"It's true that he was only doing it is to finally be noticed for once, and even though you praise all of the hard work he has done, you should at least lay off him for once." said Sabrina.
"Even though you guys are being kind to Oscar, you don't show him that much respect at all and it would be much kinder if you show him much more respect." said Angie.
"Oh, we respect Oscar very well, Ang, Nel, and, and Brina as much as we praise him for his own hard work." said Vivian.
"Wait a minute? You do?" asked Oscar in surprise.
"Yeah, and we only respect you if you're ever gonna make it big by getting a lot of money someday in the far future if it has a chance to happen at all," said Dwight.
"Hey!" exclaimed Oscar.
"You said it yourself. You only sold those sparkling water bottles to us by somehow making it big, and if you do make it big, then maybe you'll get the respect that you wish for." said Tamika.
"Ugh! I totally can't stand it when you say those things about me! I just can't for one minute!" exclaimed Oscar.
"Guys, will you cut it out?! Just cut it out already!" exclaimed Nelson.
"Leave Oscar alone and he just couldn't help it!" exclaimed Sabrina.
"Alright! That's enough! And he still had a good reason to pull off that scheme just like had pulled off those other schemes from before!" exclaimed Angie.
"You'll see! You'll all see that I'll somehow make it big, and when I do, you'll be respecting me for sure!" exclaimed Oscar.
"Well, we like to see you try, and if you do succeed in making it big, then maybe you'll get the respect like you've always dreamed about," said Johnson.
"Good luck trying to make it big someday," said Phoebe.
"Also, we wish you good luck on your job that you're stuck with," said Wendell.
"You have been working so hard as a tongue scrubber and maybe you'll get a promotion," said Hayley.
"Maybe it will happen, but as long as you're stuck in this kind of job at the Whale Wash, you're just a tongue scrubber and nothing more," said Pontrelli.
"See ya later, Oscar, and you've been very amazing doing such hard work as a tongue scrubber," said Knuckles.
"That's right, but you're still nothing but a tongue scrubber who has all the luck of working so hard." said Dwight.
"Hopefully, you might get a promotion for all you've done," said Vivian.
"Bye, Mr. Tongue Scrubber," said Quincy.
"Have fun enjoying the job you're stuck with," said Tamika.
"We praise all of the hard work that you did so far in this job," said Gerald.
"But you're still stuck in this job and we guess that's gonna have to be," said Myrtle.
Then, Pontrelli, Knuckles, Dwight, Vivian, Quincy, and Tamika, Gerald and Myrtle, Wendell and Hayley, and Johnson and Phoebe leave the scene so they could continue with doing their own hard work at the Whale Wash of Southside Reef like they're supposed to while they still didn't show Oscar any respect at all due to being stuck as a tongue scrubber at the Whale Wash just as they are stuck in the job as much as he is and still did praise him for all of the hard work he has done at the Whale Wash as a tongue scrubber which would somehow earn him a promotion for all of his hard work somehow in the far future while they did show him some criticization for pulling off his latest get-rich-quick scheme, and after they have left the scene, Oscar became very depressed again by how much he is being disrespected by his fellow co-workers due to the job that he has at the Whale Wash.
Once Oscar became very depressed by how much their co-workers doesn't show him that much respect due to being a tongue scrubber even though they still show him some kindness by praising him for all of the hard work he has done, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina felt very bad for him just as they began comforting him by warmly embracing him while he warmly embraced him back, and Oscar really enjoyed the comfort Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina just as he enjoyed having a friendship with them so much ever since they have been best friends together since childhood and he still intends on making his lifelong dream of becoming a very rich and famous person in order to get the respect that he yearns for due to what he has been through as a tongue scrubber at the Whale Wash and what he has been through during childhood as well, and while Oscar was in a state of depression and wished that he could finally make his dreams of becoming rich and famous come true in order to be respected by others, Angie, Nelson, and Sabrina wishes that Oscar could understand that he didn't really need to become rich and famous in order to be respected and that he is just his own person no matter what.
