Meanwhile, the next morning over at Braedey's home, the family was getting ready for Braedey's next stage job life. The 19-year old was getting ready for the biggest thing of his life! Well... second biggest thing if your considering what happened with the Autobots and the Decepticons: he was off to College!
Braedey put on his leather jacket and tied his shoes on. His two dogs, Shadow, who was a black and white Huskie, and Sunny, his goldish-tan Border Collie, both run into his room and wag their tails, panting happily. Braedey chuckled and patted their heads.
"Come on! Let's go! All hands on deck!" A voice shouts outside. Braedey rolled his eyes and looks out the window. He saw his Uncle Ron carrying a box of his things and putting them in his car. "Braedey! Move it!"
"Alright, alright, I'm coming!" Braedey yelled back. 'Just can't wait to get rid of me, can he?' He thought.
Braedey now slid down the stairs-railing and lands on his feet with Shadow and Sunny in tow. He then saw his Aunt Judy crying. "Aunt Judy, what's wrong?"
Just then holds up a bib with a teddy bear on it. "Look what I found. It's your baby bib." Judy cried.
Braedey sighed as he slapped his forehead. "Okay. Here we go."
Judy then hugged him with all her might. Ron then comes in and saw them, rolling his eyes. "Judy, come on! The guy's 18 years old!"
"See, Uncle Ron? THIS is how you're supposed to react when your own bloodline is about to go out into the world and fend for himself." Braedey said, muffled in Judy's arms.
"My heart bleeds for you pal." Ron muttered sarcastically.
'No love at all, huh?' Braedey thought.
Judy lets go and she looked at her nephew. "You have to come home every holiday, not just big ones. You have to come home for Halloween."
"I can't come over for THAT, Aunt Judy." Braedey chuckled.
"Well, then we'll come to you." Judy suggested.
"Absolutely not. You're not doing that." Braedey said with a serious face.
"Would you let the kid breathe for crying out loud?" Ron snapped. "Come on. Go pack. There's no way you're packed for a month-long trip." Judy sniffed and walked up the steps. "March, young lady." Ron then gives Judy a smack on the bottom.
Braedey immediately covered his eyes. "Uncle Ron, seriously?"
"I love it when you call me 'young lady', you dirty old man." Judy said cheekily before heading upstairs.
"You ain't seen nothing yet." Ron snickered.
"Uncle Ron! Please!" Braedey begged. "Not while I'm standing here, thank you! Do you have any idea how many nightmares I'm gonna get now?"
"Ah, don't be such a baby. Like you don't do that with Jasmine." Ron argued.
"Yeah, but there's a word for how I do that, Uncle Ron." Braedey explained. "'Discreetly', ever heard of that word?"
Ron sighed and puts down another box before looking at Braedey straight in the eye. "Look, Braedey, it's just gonna be hard for Judy to accept that her nephew's all grown up. You've been a second son to us pal, and you're going out to handle the world and everything."
Braedey then noticed Ron's starting to get watery eyes. "You okay, Uncle Ron?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Ron nodded. Braedey then gave him a quick hug, calming Ron's emotional state. "There's also gonna be a lot of women at college too, Braedey."
"Uncle Ron, Jasmine is the only girl for me. Alright? I'm a one-woman kind of guy." Braedey stated.
"Look, she's great and all, but you've got to give each other room to grow. You're no different than any other couple your age." Ron said waving his hand.
"Except for the fact that we discovered an alien race of transforming robots together." Braedey pointed out.
Ron scoffed. "How long you gonna be riding that scooter?"
Braedey rolled his eyes and took out his phone, calling his girl. "Hey, gorgeous."
"I'm breaking up with you, Braedey." Jasmine said bluntly.
"I don't hear the sincerity in that statement." Braedey laughed.
"Well, I am, so there's no reason for me to come say goodbye to you." Jasmine added.
Braedey now heads up to his room. "Geez, you almost sounded serious that time. But check this? I made you a long distance relationship kit. Webcam, some romantic stuff like candles and mixes, and I might give you an added surprise. Are you my girl, again?"
Braedey now heard Jasmine giggling on the line. "When am I never? Looking forward to that surprise." She emphasised.
"Hey. You want my War-Day shirt?" Braedey now inquired, taking out the exact same sweatshirt he wore during the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons.
"Braedey, you mean to tell me you actually kept those?" Jasmine breathed out.
"What can I say? As horrific the experience of that day was, it just reminds me that I'm glad I got you and Bumblebee." Braedey answered, just as a piece of metal falls out of the sweatshirt and hits the ground. "Huh, what's this?"
"Love you. I'll be over in twenty." Jasmine snickered.
"Jasmine, I think a piece of the AllSpark got stuck on my shirt." Braedey then picked up the piece of the AllSpark.
Suddenly, random Cybertronian glyphs started appearing in Braedey's head and across his body in faint blue glows before fading away, making the shard sizzle in his hand. Braedey dropped it, and it melted through the floor to the kitchen, sending a pulse of energy around everything that was electronic.
Braedey immediately grabbed the fire extinguisher and blew out the smoke emanating from the ground. In the kitchen, all the electronic appliances inside the kitchen change form into mini-Decepticons. They all transform and growl at each other, knowing they had to find the one that awakened them. Upstairs, Braedey managed to get the small fire out. Once done so, he began to open his bedroom door to leave, only to have the minibots all burst in attacking him. One of them pounced on Braedey, but he then grabbed it, tearing it in two, and threw it at the vacuum-bot. They all started firing at him, forcing the brunette to form a shield from his left arm, now jumping out the window and parkour to the ground.
"Braedey, what's with all the noise?" Ron demanded.
"Get down!" Braedey shouted. The minibots then crawl out the windows firing at Ron and Braedey. They both then hide behind the fountain in the backyard, Braedey arming one of his cannons to open fire back.
"What is that?" Ron cried.
"That's the whole goddamn kitchen come to life!" Braedey replied, now dodging a mini-missile. "BUMBLEBEE!"
Suddenly, Bumblebee drove out of the garage and transformed into robot-mode. He then activated his cannons and took down the minibots one by one. At the same time, Braedey arms his shield and then equips a machine gun on his right arm, blasting any of the small robots that his Autobot pal missed. Bumblebee then fired a large burst at the ones on the roof, making Braedey and Ron cover themselves from the flying wood. Judy then screamed, running out of the house and hitting her face against one of her hanging plants.
"Call 911!" Ron shouted.
Braedey growled as he knocked a piece of wood off his lap. "Bumblebee!"
Bumblebee chirped back. "What I do? What I do?"
Braedey had lived with Bee long enough to understand his chirps and whirs, so he could understand him as if he's speaking English. "Go get in the garage now!"
Bumblebee rolls his head. "First you tell me to get out here, then you want me to go back in?"
"Now!" Braedey ordered.
Bumblebee stompped over to the garage and looked at Braedey. "Whatever!" He buzzed, knocking away an old TV that shattered upon impact.
As the firemen drive up to deal with the fire, Braedey ran into the kitchen and puts the sliver from the AllSpark in a small tube. He felt a small pulse of energy coming from it, but he did not have the time to think about it, as he heads outside.
Jasmine now rides up on her motorcycle and took off her helmet. She jogged up to Braedey. "What's going on? What happened?"
"Just a little issue. Here." Braedey then hands the sliver to Jasmine. "Put this in your purse." Braedey then walks off towards the garage.
"Wait up." Jasmine now puts the sliver away and followed Braedey into the garage, where they can see Bumblebee smacking his forehead repeatedly. "Hey, Bee. He's still having voice problems?"
"Yeah, but I get what he saying now, even without the radio. Guess it's a force of habit to use his radio rather than his voice." Braedey explained. He then took in a large breath. "Bee, I got to talk to you about college."
"I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it~!" Bumblebee began to sing the song 'I'm So Excited' by The Pointer Sisters from his radio, snapping his fingers in the process to the music. "I'm about to lose control and I think I like it~!"
"Bee, I can't take you with me." Braedey said bluntly. Bumblebee stopped, his radio making a record scratch and cutting out, as his optics whirred and looked at him with sadness in them.
"I'll stand outside." Jasmine said, walking out of the garage.
Braedey took a deep breath. "Bumblebee, you're my best friend, all right? I mean, you're like a big brother to me. But there's some rule that freshmen aren't meant to have cars or something. I do want to take you with me, but it's not my choice. But you staying here and living in this garage, it's got to be torture for you. Look, I don't like this anymore than you, but I just want to be normal. After what happened back in Mission City... look, I just don't want another rerun of watching us get hurt."
"Give me a moment..." Bumblebee held up one hand, unlatched two spikes beside his facial plate, and he started to let coolant fall from his optics.
Braedey realised he was crying. "H-Hey, look at me, buddy. Come on, Bee." He placed his hand under Bumblebee's chin, and turned his helm to face him. "You are the best friend anybody could ever ask for. I've never taken that for granted. You've done your part to keep me safe. But we have to move on." He told him.
"Braedey, if we're friends, then let me stick with you!" Bumblebee beeped to him. "Optimus and the others can handle themselves. I wanna stay with you."
"I really hate it when you give me the big sad puppy dog eyes." Braedey sighed with a chuckle, shaking his head. "But if it makes you feel better, just this once, you can come, but I don't want you transforming on the grounds. Got me?" Bumblebee gave a metallic chuckle and offered his fist to Braedey. They both fist bump and tapped their chests, giving each other the peace sign. Braedey then heads out. "I'll go grab my stuff. The fire department's here, so you may want transform into Camaro mode." Bee nodded and transforms into his Camaro alt-mode.
Braedey then stepped out, just in time to see Jasmine now in a white wedding gown that reached to just above her ankles, a veil over her head, some roses either side of her head, a small bouquet of roses in her hand, and with two strands of hair framing her head.
"What do ya think?" Jasmine giggled lightly.
"You are too much, you know that?" Braedey smiled back, wrapping his arms around her.
"You know you love it." Jasmine said flicking her tongue.
"Not as much as I love you." Braedey replied before pulling her into a kiss. Jasmine dropped the bouquet and she returns the kiss. When they let go of their kiss, Bee honks his horn at Braedey, anxious to get a move on. "Way to kill the mood, Bee."
"Chat me when you get there?" Jasmine asked.
"24/7. Always." Braedey winked at her before hopping in the driver seat of Bee. "I love you."
Jasmine shook her head, picking up the rest of her clothes. "I love you too!" She called before walking away.
Bumblebee then does a wheelspin on the road and be drives off with a cloud of smoke left behind in his wake.
"Next time Bee, maybe have a little patience, please." Braedey scoffed.
"Ah, don't be a sour puss!" Bee whirred through the radio, the brunette rolling his eyes in response.
Unbeknown to Jasmine, a Decepticon in the form of an RC monster truck was looking over at her, after she got back into her leather outfit, and prepared to get back on her motorcycle to ride back to her father's garage.
As it looked, it armed a scanner and a satellite dish, sending a message after detecting the AllSpark sliver...
