Out in the Atlantic Ocean, a lone cargo ship was making its way across the sea from East to West. But, unbeknown to the crew, the Constructicons known as Mixmaster, Rampage, Long Haul, and Scrapmetal, were all onboard the vessel, all of them waiting for the signal to move forth and go on ahead with the next stage of their plan.
Suddenly, a metal comet flew into the side of the vessel, running into Rampage's bulldozer plow, the comet now becoming the ravenous jaguar Minicon known as Ravage, one of Soundwave's deployers.
In orbit, Soundwave, the Decepticon's communications officer and assassin, hacked into a U.S military satellite, and overheard both the location of Megatron's corpse and the Allspark shard that Optimus removed from Megatron. He deployed Ravage down to Earth on a mission to steal the AllSpark Shard from the base in Diego Garcia. Once Ravage snuck inside, he deployed his Microcons, which formed the paper thin Reedman, who went in to grab to the Shard. Ravage was forced into retreat, but in the end, Ravage has obtained the shard, and began to proceed with the next phase of the plan.
Ravage knelt down next to Scrapmetal, letting out a metallic snarl, giving the Constructicons the signal to begin their next phase. The Decepticons all began to transform into their robot modes, now leaping off the ship's port side, diving down deep into the depths of the Atlantic Ocean, heading forth down into the Laurentian Abyss, going down towards the seabed. As they head down, they come across the fallen remains of other Decepticons, but they eventually come across the fallen corpse of Megatron's body, now covered in barnacles, starfish, and octopi.
Ravage swam over to the deceased Decepticon warlord's form, ejecting Scalpel so he could look and examine, the other Decepticons sitting by. Scalpel took a look at his master's deceased body, realising he now needs parts in order to repair Megatron. So he asked Mixmaster and Long Haul to kill Scrapmetal, saying "KILL ZE LITTLE ONE!" Scrapmetal yelled out in protest, but Mixmaster and Long Haul ignored his pleas as they took poor Scrapmetal apart while he screamed and wailed in pain. Once receiving enough parts from Scrapmetal, Scalpel collected the shard, and stabbed it at the helm of the Decepticon warlord, now restoring and bringing Megatron back from the dead.
Megatron now stood 40ft tall, with a broad chest with the metal forming like a ribcage and an armour chestplate, his right shoulder now larger than his left and with two large protruding spikes, his claws now longer with smaller two-prong claws on the ends of them, his helm now having a triple prong crown-like shape to them, and his lower legs and feet have tank treads built into them.
Once brought back to life, Megatron rises up to his feet, the Decepticons stepping back and bowing to him, and he then shot up towards the surface of the ocean, striking a U.S submarine in the process on his way out of the ocean, before now journeying on forth into space.
Megatron's form, now a Cybertronian tank-like vehicle that can fly, shot through the depths of space, going forth towards a lone moon far from Earth's solar system, nearby that of Cybertron's solar system but around a thousand or so years away, getting there in a matter of hours rather than light years. As he reached the lone moon, there sat the rusting and huge remains of the Decepticon flagship, the Nemesis.
Megatron soon started to approach the remains of the old Decepticon warship, approaching what could be a chamber with some kind of protoform chambers. The newly-resurrected Decepticon warlord flew in at speed, then his form suddenly broke apart with metallic gear shifting, landing on the ground with a loud thud, a small cloud of dust rolling away as a result of this.
"Starscream... I'm home." Megatron rasped, clenching his right fist, his red optics looking out ahead of him.
At that moment, Starscream now walked forward to his master. "L-Lord Megatron! I'm so relieved to hear of your resurrection." Starscream walked up to Megatron, now kneeling down on one knee.
Megatron puts one of his clawed fingers under Starscream's chin, making him look up at his red optics. "You left me to die on that pathetic insect planet." He snarled angrily, threatening to slice open Starscream's chin.
"O-Only to help spawn our new army." Starscream countered, stepping back while still kneeling, Megatron narrowing his optics at him. "The Fallen decrees it! After all, in your absence, someone had to take command." He finished up.
Megatron growled, kicking Starscream up, then he grabbed the seeker by the throat, and forced him up against a wall, next to a nearby chamber containing a deactivated protoform. "So disappointing." He growled. "Even in death, there is no command but mine." He snarled at Starscream, then he dropped the seeker.
Just then, Thundercracker walked up and knelt down, crossing one arm over his chestplate. "Lord Megatron. The first Decepticon is waiting for you." He said sincerely.
Megatron turned to Thundercracker, giving a single nod before walking forth towards the remains of the bridge, his metal footsteps echoing out. Megatron entered what can be best described as some kind of large throne room, carved out of the remains of the Nemesis' bridge. He then looked to the middle of the room, which looked to have a skylight that seemed to shine down nothing but darkness, with a large throne made out of dismembered Cybertronian body parts that have been welded together, while sitting upon the throne was an intimidating form.
The figure looked to be male-like in shape and design, looking to have a towering height of up to 65ft. His armour was as black as night, with small red highlights across the form. The fingers had silver-tip claws, with dark red crystals in his knuckles, what looked to be a cannon built on both of the forearms, whilst having large broad shoulders that overlap the upper arms. He has tank-like treads built into the lower and upper arms, two horn-like structures on the helm, a pair of burning red optics, with the chest that was broad and wide with the shoulders, which tapered down to a smaller waist, which connected to the thick armour legs. Finally, the Decepticon insignia was present and glowing in the centre of his chest.
"Megatron." The being acknowledged the Decepticon warlord in a dark and dominating voice, one that's more dominating than Megatron's. "You have returned, alive and functional."
"My mentor, Megatronus." Megatron knelt on one knee, looking over to the remains of the vessel around them. "I have come with bad news. I have failed you on Earth. The AllSpark has been destroyed, and without it, we have no means to restore Cybertron." He turned to his mentor, beginning to walk around the throne.
"Ohh... You have much to learn, my successor." The being identified as Megatronus, or as The Fallen, now began to say, as Megatron walked around the throne. "The AllSpark is merely a vessel, a container. The very power, the untold knowledge, it can never be destroyed. To put it simply, it can all transform." He clenched his fist for emphasis.
"What do you mean?" Megatron questioned, raising a metal eyebrow at him. "How is that possible?"
"The information you seek has been absorbed by the human child. The techno-organic who vanquished you." Megatronus now clarified to his successor. "The key to restoring your world and defeating your enemies now lie within his mind."
"Then let me strip the very flesh from his pitiful little insignificant body!" Megatron demanded, clenching his fist in delight.
"And you will, Megatron, in time." The Fallen replied to him quietly. He sighed deeply. "For millennia, I have dreamed of my triumphant return to that wretched pitiful planet... where I too was once betrayed by the Primes I once called my brothers. Only a Prime can defeat me, and now... only one remains." He added on with a sigh, lying in his throne.
"Optimus Prime!" Megatron realised, turning to his master. "He protects the boy." He informed.
"Then the boy shall bring us to him, and revenge will be ours." The Fallen declared, now rising to his full height of 65ft, his shadowy silhouette concealing all but his glowing red optics from view.
"Yes..." Megatron agreed with a growl.
Starscream now stepped in, kneeling down on one knee before the First Decepticon. "The boy shall not escape us. We have him in our sights." He then looked to a broken screen of a war-torn Cybertron. "Without a way to defeat the Autobots once and for all, we will never be able to restore Cybertron..."
Unbeknown to the three Decepticons, Thundercracker had overheard everything. He now was uncertain about his position and how his science has done nothing but give an edge to the Decepticons against the Autobots. They were abusing his scientific endeavours for their use on the battlefield. Without any hesitation, the blue Decepticon made his way out of the Nemesis...
