another one of my crazy story ideas will have to be seen, but I think this would be an interesting story where things messed up at the start on the Riley timeline, not the Scarlet timeline if you want me to do a Scarlet Riley timeline version of this story. let me know our story on the Riley timeline. Let me know if I can make some changes. I think this would be the fun story of the Scarlet timeline. I kind of did that with random pho but different this time this is different. This is the timeline. I need to figure out how this will work but I think this would be fun, this is the prologue the beginning when the timeline begins we don't start with the actual chat with Alvin because that would be too much but we just start at the very beginning of the timeline and we're gonna start it from Scarlett speaking and not for the watch speaking for her OK all right then let's go. Let's get started on this wonderful story.

I was sitting at the bench for lunch as my brother was doing other things we were eating lunch together, but I watched a pocket watch that landed on my lap. I was wondering where it came from I asked where you came from holding the watch in my hand and studying it I didn't know what it was at first, but my brother wasn't paying attention to me at this very commonplace point. He doesn't pay attention to me even though he says he loves me. He only pays attention to himself and how I wish things were different. I deserve better. I do. I do. I deserve better than this kind of attention I mean.

then the watch says I didn't know what it was. I just thought it was a voice in my head. You're a Timecrest now Scarlet I am your counterpart what I'm and you're what I thought but no, I don't understand.

I'm a Timecrest I had to process it in my head. I didn't quite get it then I washed my brother do something else and I couldn't see him, but I sensed him get up because an elite guard was sitting nearby. He asked me if that is one of the high mages elite guards I said yes, do you wanna bother talking to him about it? He says I wanna try and the trials again we deserve to be higher than we were last time we beat Luther. We beat that coward that jerk we should've been higher last time. I'm gonna see if I can re-enter myself and get us a better position. I don't think that's a good idea brother I said are you doubting me sister oh no no I'm not doubting you brother good I'm gonna go talk to that now.

I'm gonna go talk to that guard now you just sit here and eat your lunch. You don't need to come with me.

are you sure you don't need me for moral support? I asked no no you just sit here and do and look pretty. He says I will provide for us sister. We will have a better life.

agree about a better life, but only for myself, but not in the selfish type of way what would it be wrong to be a little selfish sometimes as I filled with the watch in my hand as he left the watch said again I am your counterpart. you are my Timecrest. You are a Timecrest now Scarlett.

but if you're going to ignore me, take me to Luther, please.

I didn't know what the watch was asking for me to take it to Luther. I have no idea where he is.

then I heard my brother tell the guard that they should've he should've been higher in the trials. I didn't quite get everything he was saying at first he was asking the guard if they could, if he could re-join the trials guard said some things like are you in a guild? He asked the guard, my brother, yes and I'm silver and I'm bout to be promoted to gold, promoted to there are many people who are more worthy than you.

come to me when you're promoted then we'll speak my brother not to the guard, but then was upset at the same time. I can't believe you don't think I am worthy. I don't like cleaning up after all these humans. I heard him say if you think you're all that better then try to find you another job worthy of your status.

I got up to try to defend them defend him. I said please, sir. We're trying to support our father. I'm not upset with you. The guard says to me, Miss Scarlet you clean armor better than anyone in this guild if you obey and do well and have a bad blemish on your record you can keep your job. I'm not firing you, dear. I'm only firing your brother.

I was trying to beg him to make me beg him to stand to beg him to get on his knees to beg there's no need for that. The guard says besides you're the best armor cleaner here and so mad to hear that I was a better armor cleaner than him then he says I should've defeated Luther even better even more. I should've killed him. My face went pale you know the only reason you were here is because of him the guard said one is your sister going to participate in this trial no only me I figured the only reason you got as high as you did was because of your sister, the guard said the only reason you're here interrupting my lunch is because Luther spared your life. He only broke your legs. I'm surprised he didn't kill you. He spared you so I think you should be grateful. Also, you called us monsters for putting you against your sister.

as the guard walked away, I'll show you I'll show all of you come sister. I stood there for a moment come, Scarlet. I can't believe him. I made him get you to bag like that. I bet your knees hurt. I'm fine and besides clothes can be cleaned I don't mind them being dirty.

we said that down to finish eating our lunch. I've still fiddled with the watch too. Do you know what this is as a chain or a lid do you know what it is it's smooth of course I do know what it is sister it's a pocket watch. And that looks like Luther's watch. What are you doing with it? I'm hearing voices in my head. Rather I said hearing voices in your head, Scarlet. Yes, and what does this voice say? it said your Timecrest Scarlet I am your counterpart.

Timecrest as in Luther Pinecrest, I nodded and said yes what does that mean brother Luther is doing something to you and put a spell on you Scarlet? Maybe we should quit this job is beneath us for working for clean up after humans. Also, we need to get away from Luther. And we should throw the watch at him. Oh no, that would hurt. I don't wanna do that.

he deserves it for what he did to us for breaking our legs. He wants to hurt us because he did that. Also, his mother does not use Scarlet to leave you to cry.

I love you, Scarlet then I won't hurt you. I know brother and I know you won't hurt me. I said as an obedient child, the good girl he says now come.

The guard has messed up my appetite now give me the watch and I will close it and we will not be hurt again. I'll figure out a buyer or I'll have it appraised. If there is magic on this watch, we will make Luther look like a fool for hurting you, Scarlett.

I didn't know what I should do so I gave him the watch and he closed it. I didn't hear from the human for a while.

Is the voice in my head I should say the voice that told me I was a Timecrest and I was at and they were my counterpart and they wanted me to take them to Luther? How am I gonna do that? I have to figure this out somehow.

but how am I going to get this to him without being afraid of being in his presence? I'm worried about him hurting me or not hurting me but hating me for hurting him, but I need him too. He's the only one who has answers about helping me with this, but I can't with my brother around and he won't let me have the watch.

but no one was able to send magic from this watch. She had it appraised, but no one could give an appraisal because they could sense it. No magic coming from the watch. It was just a normal watch to them. They can always see a regular watch face well I know that I could feel magic from this watch and a beautiful blue light so I knew something was off about this watch.

and if Luther wants to curse me, then I deserve it then I deserve him to cuss and curse me like this to have his burdens but at the same time I don't, and then the same time I wanna see him I do I wanna see how he's doing right now and if there's if he's in any kind of trouble, I want to help him to make up for hurting him in the trials I'll do that on my word I will help him, but I'll have to do it secretly somehow, I'm gonna have to help him secretly, but I need to figure out something.

but I needed to figure this out after work we went home and I sent and thought for a moment to see if I could figure out what I could do to help Luther, but I had to have these thoughts in my head alone and the watch was closed so I couldn't talk to the watch brother said he threw it in the water, but it came back to me, but it hasn't opened so I need to figure out what the deal is and why the watch is closed and why it does these things and comes back to me. Well, I will figure this out soon.

First I need some rest. I am tired. I had a long day and I'm exhausted from dealing with my idiotic brother for making a scene at our job and getting himself fired. I need to make sure with the guards that my brother is fired if he is, I could have them kicked out of this house and maybe I could keep the watch because it's mine, I tried begging for him to stay in this job, but I've done this several times before he's been trying to get fired several times like this ever since he was figured out he could rejoin the trials. He's been trying to join the trials again. I'm guessing the guards pushed the guard's buttons this time, it's been six years since the trials six years since I've seen Luther I wonder how he's doing well I can't wonder about that right now I hope he's OK and I hope he's in good health.

The ending of the chapter here I know it's probably a short one, but it's the prologue. I'll get more chapters soon. I hope you enjoy this one and I hope it's a fun take of the timeline. They'll be some changes obviously but I hope you enjoy it.
