A/N : Yep. This is it. Me trying out some fluff. You can't even imagine the struggle writing this. It just didn't want to come out. But I still liked the result, so.. Enjoy !

It was early morning when Natsu woke up. He immediately headed for the guild hall, walking happily with Happy flying above his head. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting a golden glow over Magnolia. The streets were quiet, the perfect time for a peaceful walk.

"What's today's plan, Happy? Anything ya wanna do?" Natsu grinned, looking up at his blue Exceed companion.

"Aye! I want to eat fish," Happy replied, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Yeah, that's basically every day's plan," Natsu smiled, shaking his head.

As they arrived in front of the guild, he looked up at the still-dark windows. "Seems like Haru is still sleeping," he shrugged. "Nevermind."

He entered the guild, which was still calm at this hour. The quiet hum of the early morning was a stark contrast to the usual lively chaos. However, Lucy was already there, curled up on a couch with a book in her hands.

"Luigi!" Happy shouted, breaking the silence.

"IT'S LUCY, YOU GODDAMN CAT!" she shouted back, her voice echoing through the empty hall.

Natsu collapsed next to her. "What ya doing this early?"

"I could ask the same for you two," she replied, her voice softening as she closed her book. "But I'm reading. Morning peace is my preferred moment in this crazy guild."

Natsu grinned, his usual energy subdued in the quiet atmosphere. After a moment of comfortable silence, he added, "Hey, Luce, any thoughts about the games? I mean, you know..."

She sighed. "Yes, Natsu, I have thoughts about the games. But to be honest, I don't really wanna talk about it."

Natsu was surprised. "Why? Are they bad thoughts?"

"Well, take it like this: my ass got kicked day one and I couldn't even rejoin after that. So yeah, bad thoughts."

"But they cheated!" Natsu exclaimed, his voice rising with indignation.

"I don't care. I wasn't strong enough. Even if I lost, if I was resilient, I could've continued. But I couldn't. And y'all did great after that, especially Haru."

"Yeah, Haru did insanely well. But that doesn't mean you should regret anything. You were strong, and you still are strong," Natsu said, suddenly serious. "And I hate seeing you like this. So today, I'll do whatever you want to cheer you up!" He grinned.

She sighed but couldn't help the slight smile on her lips. "You don't need to, Natsu. It's fine, real—WOW!" she screamed as Natsu grabbed her wrist and pulled her outside.

"HEY, SLOW DOWN, YOU STUPID VOLCANO!" she yelled.

Natsu only grinned over his shoulder, finally stopping in front of a bakery. The smell of fresh bread and sweet cakes wafted out, filling the air with a delicious aroma. "I know you love it here, so we'll start with this!" he said to Lucy, pulling her inside.

Lucy was completely confused but couldn't hide the blush spreading across her cheeks.

Inside the bakery, the warmth and coziness immediately enveloped them. The baker, a cheerful woman with flour-dusted hands, greeted them warmly. "Morning, Natsu! Morning, Lucy! What can I get you two today?"

Natsu glanced at Lucy, waiting for her to decide. She hesitated for a moment, then smiled. "We'll take two of those chocolate croissants, please."

As they sat at a small table by the window, enjoying their pastries, Lucy couldn't help but feel her spirits lift. The sweet taste of the croissant and the warmth of the bakery were comforting, a perfect start to the day.

"Thanks, Natsu," she said between bites. "This is really nice."

"No problem!" Natsu replied, his mouth full. "I told you, anything to cheer you up."

After finishing their breakfast, they wandered through the market, visiting various stalls and shops. Natsu's enthusiasm was infectious, and Lucy found herself laughing more and more as the morning went on.

They stopped by a flower shop, where Natsu picked out a bouquet of lilies and handed them to Lucy. "Here, these match your name," he said with a grin.

Lucy blushed, taking the flowers. "Thanks, Natsu. They're beautiful."

Next, they visited a park where a local band was playing. They sat on a bench, listening to the lively tunes. Natsu couldn't help but tap his foot to the rhythm, and Lucy found herself swaying gently to the music.

After the impromptu concert, they stumbled upon a small street performance. A magician was captivating a small crowd with his tricks. Lucy watched with wide eyes, clapping excitedly at each reveal. Natsu, on the other hand, kept trying to figure out how the tricks were done, much to Lucy's amusement.

They continued their walk around town, shopping and lurking in front of very expensive outfits. Lucy couldn't believe her eyes. Natsu was doing all of this for her? Something was off.

As they wandered, they talked about everything and nothing, enjoying each other's company. The day passed in a blur of laughter and lighthearted moments.

They ended the day by buying some food to take on a picnic next to the river downtown. It was especially calm, and Lucy already felt the stress she had fly away.

They sat down and started eating, Happy biting his fish a bit further.

"Natsu," she asked. "Why? Why all this? Why today?"

Natsu, surprised by the question, simply answered, "Well, you didn't feel good. I could sense it. So that's why," he said bluntly.

Lucy's eyes widened. "That's... all?"

"Yeah?"

She smiled. "Thank you, Natsu," she added, resting her head on his shoulder.

Natsu smiled, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "Remember, we're all here for you. Haru joined recently, so we were maybe a little too focused on him. As we should, but we shouldn't forget our older members. And you deserve the same treatment."

Before he could add anything else, Lucy dropped a kiss on his cheek before resting her head again. "Don't add more. I got it, Natsu, I don't need any more than this," she said, closing her eyes.
