After the Crossover All Star Laff A Lympics ended in Tokyo, it was Paris' turn to host it. The Cjeating Chicoms were not pleased after they lost out to other teams in terms of gold medal count, and they decided to redeem themselves and keep spreading propaganda during the Beijing Winter Laff A Lympics. Most of the heroic teams have knew the evil communists from China and what are the crimes and atrocities they have done before, so they had boycotted that event and let the evil teams suffer the brunt of the consequences.

During the wait for the Paris, a boycott of the Beijing Winter Laff A Lympics was initiated by the heroic teams since they refusal to support the villains and their heinous crimes committed in the evil communist-ruled China. The few heroic teams decided to stay and teach the other evil teams a lesson, while the evil teams remained. The evil robot panda Bing Dwen Dwen manufactured by institutes and government divisions was defeated by the few heroic teams in small yet powerful numbers, the evil robot lantern child Shuey Rong Rong yet also suffered another defeat at the hands of the heroes too, with its programming tampered from dissident hackers and Falun Gong practitioners who are supporters of the Tuidang Movement.

In Paris, the mascots have emerged, coming in the form of French hats symbolic to French culture. The Phryges. They were little red hats that came in numbers, much akin to the Smurfs or the Minions. They have different personalities that set them apart, which range from being practical to humorous. Despite this, they remain united with each other, treating each other as if they were family members.

At the idyllic and bustling city of Marseille, one of the Phryges was strolling through the streets, looking for someone to lead them since they knew that they need a leader to begin with. Even their numbers will cause disorganization between them, conflicts and disagreements running rife. The previous heroes of Hatsune Miku's team with Miraitowa and Someity had ended with her singing "Tell Your World" to end the Crossover All Star Laff A Lympics in Tokyo during difficult moments, showing her wishes and calls for peace and unity among others with her music.

In the city of Marseille, the Flame for the Crossover All Star Laff A Lympics arrived after touring some of the countries in the Francophonie (French-speaking countries and territories). The Phryges were excited, but they were worried. They needed a leader and some friends to guide them along the way, and hopefully determination that they will make it to Paris. It was not long until they bumped into someone, that was feathered in white and clothed in blue, with avian-looking features that made it look triumphant in a distinct French manner. The creature then turned around to look at the Phryges, examining them. It was a rooster, symbolic to the host nation of the city Paris, which was none other than France itself.

"Bonjour, mon amis!" asked the rooster. "The name is Gaulois Le Bleu, monsieurs!" Gaulois looked down on the Phryges and asked, "Why the long faces? Did you just wake up on the wrong side of your beds in the morning?" The hats did not hesitate and they made worried and sad looks. One of them crouched down and begged using gestures, trying to explain why they are going to need help from a hero like him.

"Oh, do you need help? You are the Phryges, right?" Gaulois asked. The Phryges then nodded, with Gaulois replying, "OK then, you are welcome on my team! Let's go, mon amis! To Paris we go!" The Phryges were finally relieved and excited at the same time, having found a savior to guide them like a beacon of light across the ocean.

One Gaul was tall and huge as a mountain with an appetite of an African elephant, while the other one was short yet strong with a heart of gold.

"Greetings! What brings you here?" asked Gaulois in a friendly manner to the Gauls.

"The name is Asterix. That guy over here is Obelix. He is my sidekick, and he's very strong and reliable." replied the short Gaul. "I heard that you are going to Paris whilst protecting the Olympic Flame, right?"

"Oui! That is what I was mentioning about!" Just then, something caught Gaulois' attention. Here it comes. The Olympic Flame!" Gaulois pointed out.

Asterix and Obelix then looked. The Olympic Flame had travelled through the French-speaking countries and territories and has finally arrived in France. One of the Phryges carried the Flame, beginning the start of the journey. Paris is waiting for them, with an odyssey of trails and tribulations that await them.

"Alright everyone. Now we gotta protect the Olympic Flame at all costs until we reach Paris and…" a cry then interrupted them. "Oh non!" Stunned by the noise, they rushed to the Museum of Civilizations of the Mediterranean and Europe, finding a curator hanging his head deep down in despair. He then went over to the curator, which was the the beginning of the investigation.

The curator pointed out to the exhibit. It was really empty like a treasure chest being looted by pirates. "It's terrible!" wailed the curator. "Someone just stole a precious artifact from that museum and I have worked hard to protect it!"

"Never fear, Monsieur!" exclaimed Gaulois as he tried to calm down the curator. "I will handle that case, by toutatis!" He then began in a triumphant tone, preparing to start the case. "Let's go search for clues and track down the culprit!"

They went through the area of Marseille, starting with the museum. The first clue led them to the Marseille cathedral. The other clues left by the culprit had the locals explaining the mess done, like stealing a fish and a basket of fruits from the Old Port and injuring an old lady at the Abbaye Saint Victor. When they reached the Palais Longchamp, they finally found a message. The culprit has escaped unscathed, prolonging the chase for our heroes.

Gaulois then read the message, "To Toulon you go, try moving along with the flow, your surprise awaits if you want the treasure, trade or be thrashed bitterly for sure!" He was then surprised and thought for a moment, "Hey, that culprit is luring us to Toulon! Our next stop is at Toulon!" One of the Phryges the gestured and pointed out where the culprit was headed, by pointing the signboard that says with an arrow, "Toulon"

"What are we waiting for, mon amis? Let's go teach those thieving scoundrels a lesson!" Gaulois hollered and he let out a triumphant crow, beginning the odyssey. The Phryges followed Gaulois, Asterix and Obelix as they head off to Toulon for their next stop.

Meanwhile in a secret hideout in Paris…

"So….." a malicious yet feminine voice spoke out, "The heroes are beginning their journey with the Flame to Paris after it travelled around the Francophone, how interesting. But it would be a shame if we have to change that fate into a sad ending." That figure was looking at the screen through the camera drone, tracking down the Phryges and our heroes.

"Ms. Lila Rossi, the plan goes well. That heist was successful and now the hats along with the rooster and those heroes are headed for their doom." A mysterious figure stood by its side looking at the screen and it was accompanied by a French policewoman on a motorcycle with multiple weapons equipped to capture animals.

"Get the traps ready. They will be drawn to them like a moth to a flame. I want to see those heroes and that filthy feathered fiend go down in flames!" Lila Rossi exclaimed. "And be sure to make Miss Belle Bottom know that it needs be successful. Those heroes shall be crushed in one single strike!"

"Hey Miss Chloe Bourgeois, why won't you help us in dealing with that rooster?" the French policewoman asked the beautiful yet spoilt girl holding weapons.

"At least I will be of assistance to you when needed, Captain Chantal Dubois." whispered Chloe. "And I have things to settle for when we meet, heroes…." Knives were held in her hands, with her giving a wicked smile that made her crave for carnage.
