Chapter 47

"I can't believe this!" Calixa complained from Neox's bed while watching her friend excitedly stuff his bag with sunscreen, beach towel, and change of clothes.

"Come on Cali, the beach is awesome!" Neox replied almost bursting with excitement. It was a very rare occasion for the organization to take a trip to the beach, so when Xemnas announced that the entire organization was taking a trip to the beach for the day he was ecstatic.

"I beg to differ," Calixa replied with a pout, "It's dry, dirty, and I'll get sunburn."

Neox rolled his eyes, "Then put on sunscreen."

"I'd rather just keep my coat on," she mumbled, folding her arms across her chest.

Neox sighed, tired of this conversation which the two seemed to have all the time for different occasions. "You better get over it Cali because Xemnas says we all have to go."

"Fine, fine… Doesn't mean I'll enjoy it," she said, then stood. "Well, I gotta go find Xion. She's gonna help me look for a swimsuit."

"You're actually getting in the water?" Neox asked surprised.

"Of course not, I still need to look good though," she replied.

"Figures," Neox rolled his eyes. "I need to find swim trunks too," he walked over to his dresser.

ORGANIZATIONDAYS

Meanwhile Xero was in Bàli's room sitting on her bed, while she dug through her drawers deciding which swim suit to bring. Xero was trying to convince her to wear a bikini. "C'mon hun! You'll look great in one!" he said, smiling excitedly.

"Nae way Xero," Bàli replied pulling her blue flowery one piece from her drawer and holding it up to herself in front of the mirror. "I'll look like a baka!"

Xero was unsure what that meant. He knew in Japanese it meant idiot, but Bàli had never used Japanese language before so it probably meant something else in Gaelic. Either way I seemed to mean something unflattering. "No you won't, you'll look adorable! Especially in a two piece~"

"Are ye sayin ye want otha man tae be starin at me?" Bàli tossed the one piece swim suit back into her drawer and began looking for another one.

"... It's a beach full of sand. I can handle any idiots with wandering eyes."

Bali pulled out her purple two piece, "Sorra hun, I'll wear mi two piece but nae the bikini."

He jumped off the bed and walked up to Bàli, "Please?" he begged pulling her into a hug then kissed her cheek.

"Nope," she smiled mischievously and gave him a peck on the lips, "Now get out while I change."

"Do I have to?" he asked, looking at her.

"Aye" she replied in teasing tone then shoved him out of the room slamming the door behind him. Xero sighed and went to get his own stuff together.

ORGANIZATIONDAYS

Xion was in her room packing up her day bag and was suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door. "Yes?" she called, opening the door to find Calixa standing there, she smiled. "Oh hi, Cali. Ready to go?"

"You're the one that said you wanted to help me pick out a swimsuit. So the question should be are you ready?"

"Yup. Lets go," Xion said, opening a portal.

The two walked though, and reappeared in the girl's room of a clothing store. They both stepped out of the bathroom and Xion immediately went to look at one piece swimsuits for the younger girl. Calixa just stood there watching her like a statue. Xion almost instantly got five swimsuits, handing them to Calixa and pushing her into a changing room. "There! Try those on!"

Calixa didn't know anything about fashion, so she did this without question, comment, or complaint. She tried each one on and then walked out to model them for Xion. The first one felt and looked too small. The second was too big. The third one looked to be just right... Aside from the enormous wedgie she got from it. "That looks good." Xion said, smiling.

"I don't like this one, it gives me a wedgie," Calixa said speaking for the first time.

"But you look so cute!" Xion cooed, smiling.

"No," she left no room for argument.

"Aww, ok. Next one." Xion said, sitting.

It took them probably going though 30 different swim suites, but they finally found one that Xion approved of and Calixa was comfortable in it. "Cali you look sooo cute!" Xion giggled.

Calixa just nodded. The suit was fairly on the modest side but she still looked good in it. She found a tie on skirt that matched with it, and then they went and paid for it.

A few hours later, the Organization was standing in the basement in front of a large portal that Xemnas made. Everyone was in there beach clothing. "Is everyone ready? I'll be disabling the use of portals once we are there" Xemnas called.

"What!" Calixa suddenly looked very distressed. There goes her plan; she was planning on seeking back to the castle when no one was looking.

"A problem, number sixteen?" Xemnas asked, giving her a look that dared her to say yes.

"What if there's an emergency? And we need to get back here?"

"Then come see me and I'll decide if it warrants it."

Calixa was now looking very alarmed now. "You know I'm suddenly not feeling very well."

In all honesty I have no idea what else we had planned for this chapter. I think we meant for this to be a fun no drama chapter, where everyone had a fun beach day and Calixa freaked out over her hygiene.
