Hello!

Glad to see you liked the first chapter! I got some super positive reviews! To answer some things, the ship will be Naruto x Jingliu (I'll explain a bit late into the story around the Xianzhou arc), and I'm sorry but I can't make an HI3 fanfic. The reason is because I haven't played it, and so I don't think I can do it justice. Also, I changed my mind. Naruto will be way too OP, but will act in a more background role. I decided this because I wanted to try something different from the other story where he is directly involved. Hopefully, this won't dissuade you from reading this. Disclaimer in the last chapter. Hope you enjoy!

Somewhere in the space station, a boy and a girl were walking through its hallways. Compared to the standard researcher's outfit, their clothes were more unique. It was clear to anyone that they didn't belong to this place and were probably guests.

"Dan Heng! Over there!" the girl's voice, followed by rushed footsteps could be heard. She had seen the body of a grey-haired male lying unconscious against the wall.

The boy, now known as Dan Heng quickly knelt beside the boy and checked his pulse. "Weak heartbeat and pulse. March, you better do CPR."

"What? But I don't know how to do it. You'll have to do it yourself Dan Heng." At March's answer, Dan Heng decided to do it himself. Better than letting her find a way to mess even this up. Just as Dan Heng was about to perform CPR the boy stirred and March quickly pushed Dan Heng's face away from the boy's, much to Dan Heng's relief. "Wait! He's waking up!"

The boy on the ground slowly opened his eyes, a gleaming gold against his mostly grey clothes. He held his head tried to shake away the slight drowsiness he was feeling. 'Wah.. Where am I? What happened?' Trying to jog his memory, he only remembered his name, a conversation with a woman called Kafka and a small pain in his chest. Looking around, he spotted two faces, a pink haired girl sporting a ready smile and a black haired boy with no proper expression on his face. The girl wore a combination of white and blue, matching her multi coloured eyes and the boy's more orderly green, white and black clothes seemed to match his monotone face almost perfectly.

"Hey! Your awake!" the girl's peppy voice drew the boy's attention. "Are you feeling ok? Do you remember your name?" she asked in a concerned voice.

"I can't remember." The boy answered before seeming to think for a second. "My name is Caelus. That's all I can recall." He held his head to ward off the headache that came with trying to remember.

"Well, Caelus my name is Dan Heng and this is March 7th. The Antimatter legion attacked the space station and we are here to help with a rescue, requested by Lead researcher Asta." Caelus was surprised that Dan Heng could speak that many words in a row. He looked like a man of few words that had something weighing down on him. Something big.

"The Antimatter legion? Space station? Lead researcher Asta? What are you guys talking about?" Caelus asked in confusion. The others had almost forgotten that he lost his memories.

"Oh right. This is the Herta space station and it was attacked by the Antimatter legion. They are bunch of goons for the destruction. We are lucky that a Lord Ravager didn't show up. And Lead researcher Asta is in charge of this place when Herta isn't here." Answered March. "There are some other things, but first, let's get you back."

"Where do I go?" Caelus asked the girl. "I don't know anything about this place, or what's going on."

"March. How about you go back with him and I go find Arlan? We can cover more ground that way." Dan Heng asked March. He knew that the girl will most likely want to stay and help the amnesiac because of her kind nature, and he was spot on.

"Sure thing! You go on ahead. I'll see you at the Master Control Zone." With a nod, Dan Heng walked away and March 7th turned back to Caelus. "Well, what are we waiting for, let's go. Wait a minute, won't you need a weapon? The legion is rampaging around the space station and causing a lot of trouble." Looking around, the bubbly girl spotted a bat and pointed at it. "Over there! You can take that. It's not much, but we can make do. Even so, you're safe as long as I am here!" March finished with a smile.

Caelus grabbed the bat and followed March to wherever she was going. He may not have known her for long, but his gut told him to trust her, so he did. "So are you guys also from the space station?" Asked Caelus.

"No. We are the Astral Express crew. We just happened to be stopping by when the legion invaded and decided to lend a hand." When asked about the Astral express, March's eyes glimmered. "The Astral Express is how the Nameless travel the universe! The Nameless are the followers of the Trailblaze that travel the universe! It's really fun and- wait!" March's rambling was cut short by the sight of two void rangers just lazing around. "There's no way around. We'll have to go through them. You up for a fight?" Caelus just spun his new bat and gave the girl a nod. "Ok then, on three. One, two, Three!"

The two leapt out of their hiding place as Caelus rushed in and March shot an arrow at the farthest void ranger, and killed it. The other ranger turned, eager to avenge its friend, but a bat to the face was all he got. "You're stronger than you look. You fought like an experienced fighter. Wait, I thought you didn't remember anything"

"I don't know how either. It's like I just.. know." Caelus answered. Looking ahead, he sees a weird blue orb with three white things circling around it, approaching them. Running up to it, Caelus slammed the bat on its head, killing it without much effort. "Everything is like a blur. It feels like I've done this before, like I know something bad will happen if I do this wrong. I feel like know I've done this before, but no matter how many times I try, I can't recall anything." Caelus looked back at March. "Anyway, let's just keep moving."

With a nod, March took the lead and kept walking ahead while Caelus followed. They made small talk, while occasionally beating up some void rangers. The silver floating ones were annoying, but March's shield was strong enough to stop any significant damage. For larger hordes, her ice doll attack, or whatever else she called it, would freeze them in their tracks. Eventually, they reached an elevator in the center, but when March tried to activate it, nothing happened.

"I knew it." March mumbled to herself, though Caelus heard her just fine.

"Is it broken?" Caelus asked cautiously.

"It wasn't me!" March denied furiously. "The legion must have broken it. -sigh- If only Dan Heng was here. He's basically a walking encyclopedia. Maybe he also knows elevator repair?" March mumbled dejectedly.

"Unfortunately, I'm afraid elevator repair is not within my capabilities." Dan Heng's monotone voice came out of nowhere and freaked out the girl. Said boy casually walked up from behind Caelus like it he didn't just scare the life out of March.

"Dan Heng! You scared me! Wait, how are you here? Weren't you looking for Arlan? Did you find him?" March rapid fired questions at Dan Heng, while he sighed and crossed his arms. Caelus could tell that Dan Heng was quite agitated but still cared for her and that this wasn't the first time.

"I took another route to get here. I also found Arlan. He's at the controls but his leg is injured. He also said that he know how to activate the elevator. Come on, I'll take you to him." With that, Dan Heng turned around and started walking, followed by March 7th and Caelus. A little while later, they reach a booth near the elevator, where a short man was monitoring a screen.

"Oh! Dan Heng. You're back." Looking behind Dan Heng, Arlan saw two unfamiliar faces, which he assumed were also members of the express.

"Are you Arlan?" A nod answered March. "Do you know how to fix the elevator? I tried, but I couldn't get it to work?" March sounded so disappointed with herself that Caelus had to wonder if she had done something like this before.

"The elevators were turned off to prevent the invaders from getting to the Master control zone. I could activate it, but I need an authentication card. I believe Lady Asta gave you one?" Arlan asked the assembled group. If they didn't have one, they were all stranded here with the legion.

"Oh yeah she did!" March spoke excitedly, before her tone changed into nervous confusion. "Now where did I put it?" she asked herself while fishing around in her pockets.

"March?" Dan Heng and Caelus asked in sync. Dan Heng knew march was forgetful and Caelus was worried he would be eaten by the Antimatter legion, even though that was most likely impossible.

"You guys looking for this?" A cheery voice asked form behind them. Turning around, they were met by the sight of a tall blond man with whiskered cheeks. He held up a card, the sight of which caused March to blush and scratch the back of her head in embarrassment. "You left it in the Master control zone. By the way, Arlan was it? Catch." Naruto threw the card to Arlan who caught it and started typing away at the keyboard. While he was doing this, Naruto turned to face the others and asked, "So, who's your new friend?"

March perked up "Oh right, his name is Caelus and according to him, he doesn't remember anything but his name. he just ended up on the station and is tagging along." March answered enthusiastically. "And Caelus, this is Mr Naruto, one of the seniors abord the Astral express. He's helped us out of so many pickles in the past."

Before March could keep continue, Arlan's voice interrupted her. "Done! The elevator should be working now. Though for security reasons, I only activated the top floor's systems. You'll have to get there to go up." His face and voice took on a somber tone. "Since I am injured, I'll only be holding you back, so please continue without me."

"Hey now, we can't do that now can we? You activated the elevator for us and now you're asking us to leave you behind? What kind of people would we be if we did that?" Naruto replied cheerfully. "As for your injury, I could try to fix it if you show it to me."

"Really?" Arlan asked. At Naruto's nod, he pointed to his leg, where there was a large gash. While the bleeding had stopped, it still looked painful.

"Ok, hold still." Naruto placed his hand above Arlan's wound, and a small greenish glow came out of his hand. The glow seeped into Arlan's wound and it started to close up. A few seconds later, the wound was properly closed and he was able to walk properly again. After confirming that the patient was fine, Naruto turned to the others and asked, "So then, shall we head up?", to which everyone nodded. Arlan took the lead, followed by Naruto and then the others as they headed up to the top floor. Naruto felt something in around him, but he didn't tell the others, as not to worry them.

"You felt that didn't you Naruto?" A deep voice asked Naruto from inside his head. "That presence definitely belongs to something strong. Will you fight it? We are getting quite bored in here after all."

At the question, Naruto sent his tenants a mental smirk, this one containing none of the cheer he displayed before. 'Of course. Just because I don't get into them often, did you really think I can't hold my own in a fight? If so, you guys really don't know me.'

While the mental conversation was going on, they had reached the elevator but the way was blocked by a Void ranger Trampler, a dangerous being who could easily summon many Distorters it the need arises. Breaking out of his stupor, Naruto was met with the sight of everyone at a loss on what to do about this beast.

"Hello there. I was hoping we could pass through?" Naruto asked innocently. Being at the back of the group, everyone turned to look at him as he had just been spaced out until now. For Naruto's question, the answer was a roar which prompted him to let out a sigh. "I hoped you'd back down for your own sake, but if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get." Naruto then summoned a black shakujou and walked towards the trampler, ignoring the kids who asked him to stay back for a joint attack on the monster.

Meanwhile

Kafka groaned as she relaxed into the plush couch, watching as Silver wolf also did the same. They had gotten back from the station a few minutes ago, and wanted to get some rest. Speaking of the station, Kafka was reminded of the man that she and Silver wolf had encountered there. Getting up from the couch, she walked out of the living room and towards the hallways where their rooms were. Seeing Kafka leaving, Silver wolf also followed her, voicing her curiosity. Kafka just kept walking and stopped after reaching a certain door and knocked on it. "Bladie~ Are you in there?" a gruff 'enter' was all she needed to walk into the room and sit on the bed, followed by Silver wolf. The room's owner, a stoic man with fiery orange eyes holding a broken sword, was standing to the side.

"What do you want, Kafka." Blade asked quietly. He knew better than to anger the woman in front of him, lest he wanted her to release the mara.

"Well, Bladie, I was hoping you can shed some light on someone named Naruto for us?" Kafka asked with a smile.

Well, that's the second chapter. As I said before, Naruto will take a more background role in this book but will still play a major part in the story. Next chapter will hopefully put an end to this arc. Anyways, feel free to ask any questions, leave a review or even PM me. I'll see you in the next one!
