Outcome, and hope
Author's note: Hey everyone thanks for tuning in for another chapter, I am thinking of doing a crossover story, and another story for Highschool DxD, I will be honest I know some things of Highschool DxD, like how their powers are more powerful in the novels than the anime, and just needs some pointers how other organizations work, like how do they operate? More Personality info for others so I know how to write them. I am putting in an OC, and it will NOT be a harem steal fanfic.
It will be about a human fighting the supernatural world, with other factions in it before the Chaos Brigade became a huge concern. I am trying not to make the character a too OP, he will be like a skillful batman character, mixed with the heart of Spiderman, always moving forward, and good at a lot of things but not the best. He is still human after all, so any pointers will help out a lot.
But back to this story, last time he was exposed to the world, with false rape allegations, but we are going into how Beacon is going, again, I won't go into too much detail in Beacon, everything pretty much went through like in canon except Jaune isn't there, but I will explain more on Ilia's feelings about Weiss, brief but it will be there, and they will see what happened to Jaune, some people won't believe that he is innocent of course, but let's see how this is going to turn out, here we go!
Beacon Academy, one the 4 main Huntsman Academies in all of Remnant. Hundreds, try to go to go one of the four Academies due to being so difficult, they all try their best. Through blood, sweat, and tears, they train sacrifice, and do all they can to be the hunters out there to go to one of these prestigious academies. By far the easiest to get into is Atlas, since it is combined with the military, even if you fail to get into the academy, you can still go for the military itself, there is not much freedom in what you can do, Unless you are a specialist, but it is still making a big difference.
Those who get in will continue to be trained by the best of the best, and will become the new protectors of the all of Remnant, protecting it from the grimm, to the criminals, and everything in between.
With the new initiates now settled in from their test to get into Beacon Academy, classes start. From learning how grimm work, and the best ways to kill them. To Learning history of Remnant to understand the past, is to make sure the same mistakes don't happen again. Too fighting other students to understand that, grimm won't be the only enemies that the Hunters will have to fight, and a lot more classes and trainings to help out in the field. Some can even take extra minor classes if they so choose, to add on another profession if the hunters retire, or do something other than just doing huntsman jobs.
The too star 1st year teams of Beacon, had a rough patch at first. Team RWBY had some in fighting, Weiss Schnee was angry that she was not the leader, believed that she deserved to have a high spot since she had the best teachers well teaching her. And she didn't like the fact that someone younger, and more immature than her in charge it annoyed her to no end. She almost made a bad relationship with everyone because of it. Ilia Amitola, had it out for, for the longest. Due to her parents dying in the minds owned by the Schnees, she hated them for it, and declared that all Schnees have to die, Jaques Schnee, his wife, and off spring. But, when she saw what the extremes of the White Fang has been doing to everyone. Human and Faunus alike were targets.
She didn't think that faunus were being targeted too. They were supposed to fight for all of them, not pick and choose. What broke her heart the most was seeing a child be killed, due to the fact that she was the offspring of a human male, and a female faunus. That was way too far for her. True in the past she would have no problem of killing humans because she hated them more than the grimm, but seeing how it truly was, it…hurt.
When she went to visit Blake in Vale, and learned how Adam was doing things, he was essentially being a butcher, it didn't matter who it was, if you didn't agree with them, you are an enemy, and deserve death, men, women, and children. She wanted out, and she confided in Blake, that she wanted to leave. To her surprise Blake wanted to leave to, so they made the plan to leave, and become huntress'. They will be the voices of the faunus by doing huntsman work.
When she first seen, and met Weiss Schnee, she wanted to gut her then, and there. It was an old bad habit, being taught to hate the Schnees and all who associated with them. But thanks to Blake of talking to her to be something more, something better, she was able to restrain herself, but that doesn't mean she doesn't hate her. She is prissy, judgmental, and in Yang Xia Long's words, "An Ice Queen."
And she agreed, especially with how she treated Ruby Rose, Team RWBY's young leader. She couldn't help but find her beautiful and adorable. Those big silver eyes, when they look at her, reminds her of a puppy, and she just wants to pet her, and cuddle with.
When Weiss yelled at Ruby, she wanted to punch her in her face, but Ozpin came by before she could make a move, and heard the conversation, of those two together. Then she went to go find Weiss to give her a piece of her mind, with her freckles red in rage. But stopped again when she heard Weiss talking to Professor Port. For the most part she didn't have much respect for Port. He was talking about his stories when he fights, and it bored her, but she can pick out useful information, some she didn't even know. To be fair she majority, trained to fight other people rather than grimm, they were sometimes on the back burner for her, to her shame, and didn't bother to learn to fight most of the grimm, mostly just ones near Kuo Kuana, and the White Fang Head Quarters. So being here was a blessing in disguise really.
After that conversation with the professor, she simmered down a bit, but still wanted to talk to Weiss more, maybe slap her a little, maybe harder than usual, not a punch though. When they went back to their dorms, she heard her apology to Ruby, and talked to her about somethings, mentioning she always wanted bunk beds. Her apology sated her anger, at least for now, she will need time to get used to Weiss. Her team, already felt like family. Friendly, and loving Pyrrha, Hyper yet loving, Nora, and Quiet yet loving Ren. Nora was a handful and a half, she is so hyper, that it made her uncomfortable, and she called her faunus features, cute and interesting, she wanted to touch her freckles, Ilia blushed at that, but stopped when Ren wheeled her in. He apologized to her for what Nora did, and forgave them, still freaked out but, still, it was a nice refresher to know that she is welcomed here, despite her being a faunus.
Over the last week being there Ruby, and Pyrrha were both sad a little. Ilia noticed this, and Yang noticed this. They kept trying to get to their scrolls, but classes, training, and studying always got in the way. Every time they asked what's wrong, they would always say "I am trying to text, or call someone but can't." When they asked who, they would just both show a smile and say "Jaune."
Ilia was surprised, a person who she may never see again due to school, and being a huntress, she thought that she would forget about him. But, then she remembered that Pyrrha saved his life, and unlocked his aura. Even she knows that is a very intimate, and deep thing to do so she was giving her the benefit of the doubt. Still, she saw him as a liability at first, so green, the grass would envy him. She felt that he was going to get them killed, and/ or slow them down. At first it was almost the case when they met that deathstalker, but that dashed when he came up with a plan.
That turned her view of him upside down, seeing that he a natural ability to lead, and plan. She respected that, he would have made a great leader. She would be lying that she wasn't a little sad that he wasn't going to be here. But she felt it was for the best. He didn't have any combat experience, and he wouldn't be able to survive on his own without help, and sometimes, you will need to be alone, he would have been killed. But, seeing how happy she was, she couldn't speak out about him, because he seemed like a really nice guy, respectful towards them, and not caring that she was a faunus, even better, she hopes that those two will take again.
For Yang, it was a different reason. For the most part she was very protective of Ruby, since she acted as a mother to her and at the same time, Big sister, so she was overprotective of her. She always beat people to a pulp for looking at Ruby wrong, talking about her wrong, or even hurting her physically, and emotionally. It was never easy for Ruby to make friends, and she couldn't socialize properly either, due to her being awkward, a dork(majority for weapons, comics, and video games, but more for weapons), and some what antisocial. She tries to make friends, people seen how Yang is, how beautiful, and sexy she is, and try to get to her, through Ruby. It infuriated her to no end to do that to her baby sister. So friends, real friends were scarce for Ruby. She made real friends of course, but they were introduced to her from Yang, so it was not the best way to make friends all the time.
So when she ditched her, but in her thoughts letting her grow, when they landed at Beacon, she hoped Ruby was going to make friends on her own. When she heard about what happened with Weiss she felt bad for leaving Ruby like that and tried salvaging it, but she felt that she was failing. But when she heard that Ruby got a friend on her own, she was ecstatic that she was able to grow out of her shell a little. But when she found out it was Jaune Arc, he happiness did a 180.
She will be honest, she didn't like Jaune. He was overly awkward, too much false bravado, and an all around dork. She found him annoying and cringe, coming in with a bunny onesie, it was ugh to her. Ruby could have done better than him, he looked like he didn't have a spine, and will get someone killed, and tried to overly flirt with Weiss, when Weiss was being sarcastic. To be fair, he didn't know she was being sarcastic, but he should have read the signs that she was using him as a bad example for something.
It wasn't because he threw up on her boots, nope not at all. She wasn't being petty, she was concerned for Ruby that's it not her own agenda.
When she heard that Ruby was being in contact with someone outside of Beacon, she thought it was one of her friends she was talking to one of her friends from Signal Academy. But when she heard it was Jaune she froze and frowned again.
"Ummm Ruby, are you sure you don't want to try to talk to more of your friends from Signal, or try to branch out here?" Yang asked with cringe.
"Why is that Yang?" Ruby questioned. Yang looked to her side brushing her hair with her hang, and put her hand on the back of her hair. "You see, I don't think Jaune will be a good friend for you." Yang said a little sheepishly. "Why is that Yang." Ruby asked with a slight stern look, while crossing her arms. "Well he…he is not at Beacon, and it might be a distraction for you talking to him. You won't be able to talk all the time, and since he is a civilian he might not be able to keep up with you in terms of what we are doing." Yang said. She gave her reasons. She was lying a little, almost a lot, and leaving somethings out.
It was true that since he is a civilian, and talking to a huntress in training there will be not enough time to talk all the time, due to training, classes, any missions they take, and personal time with the team, and for herself. But, she didn't like Jaune because he was a dork, while her sister is a dork, she was very lovable and dependable. While he looked like a mess, like he will drag Ruby down, and won't go far. She felt like he will be a liability, and feels that she should just drop him. That, and she was still very sore about him puking on her boots, she held that grudge, and that didn't leave a good first impression for her.
Ruby gave a glare at Yang, which startled her a little. "Yang I know the real reason, you don't like him because he puked on your boots, and because of what her wore to bed." Yang flinched a little her sister called her out, and read her out like an open book. "That is so mean Yang, the first friend that I made on my own, and you don't approve of it, but the friends that you picked out for me, you approved it, without letting me choose what to see is low Yang." Ruby said, glaring and speaking up to Yang. Yang, was surprised, tiny bit fearful, and started to feel bad.
"Ruby listen I'm just trying to-" "No Yang, you never got a chance to get know him like I did, you just went on the first thing you saw of him. Yes he was a dork, and done things embarrassing, but you don't Jaune Arc." Ruby said with a stern tone. Yang looked away in shame, it's true, she never gave Jaune a chance. "Please Yang, just support me with this, Jaune is a good guy, not a nice guy, a good guy. He truly wanted to be a huntsman, just like how me and you wanted to be huntresses. So give him a chance, and give me a chance to grow, that is what you wanted me to do right? To get out of my shell?" Ruby said with her arms still crossed, calling out her sister.
Yang looked at her with shock, shame, and embarrassment. She didn't have faith in Ruby, and she didn't have faith in Jaune. That made her very upset, she wanted Ruby to grow, but she was trying to make her grow, on her own way, while keeping Ruby who she is. That made her sick to her stomach, it made her feel like the worst sister ever.
Yang took a breath, and then asked. "Are sure of this Ruby, it is true that you might not be able to talk to him all the time due to your time here?" Ruby, knew she was right, her time here has been super busy, and wasn't able to talk to almost no one outside of Beacon. But then Ruby gave her sister a smile. "I am sure." Ruby said to Yang. Yang gave a sigh, and smiled at her, and rubbed her head. "Ok I will support you, but if he does anything stupid you two are done, and I don't want you talking to him." Yang declared to Ruby, but Ruby rolled her silver eyes at her sister, thinking that things will not go that bad, she knew her sister was looking out for her, but when it comes to this, it was her choice, and she trusted Jaune, that will never change. "Ok Yang." Ruby answered, and they hugged each other.
Yang was worried about Ruby sure, but she didn't trust Jaune due to a bad intro to each other. And that made her feel terrible, she needed to be better, and hopefully by going with her sister's decision like this, is a step forward.
As time went on at Beacon, the two teams became so close, they are sister teams. They learned from each other, joked, and trained together. Ilia started to tolerate Weiss better, but again past hatred is hard to move on from. Pyrrha and Ruby managed to talk to Jaune finally. Talking about their teams, how things have been, having an all around good time. Their convos with each other was like a breath of fresh air for all three of them. Sure Ruby and Pyrrha could vent to their teams, but someone outside of the academy helps out more surprisingly enough. For Jaune at the time, was very glad to talk to someone, these two were his only friends.
He didn't vent to them about what has been happening at his school, because he didn't really like people worrying for him, that and he just met them technically. So he made up fake stories for the most part, talking about how school is, he can't really do interesting stuff as they do, since it's a regular school, but it will be over for him soon. But he did manage to tell them about his talk with his father, and how his dad is training him how to wield his aura properly.
They were ecstatic to hear that, with Ruby giving him rapid fire questions on how it went. But deflated that he had to wear cuffs to suppress his aura. Both Pyrrha and Ruby were upset about that, Pyrrha knew about that stuff more than Ruby, so she could understand the reasonings. But she still didn't like it for him. It was nice to talk to him a lot, and they both vowed to talk to Jaune more often. But moving forward with that may be a tad tricky.
Ruby, and Pyrrha were going to talk to Jaune again, but he never answered his scroll, they assumed he was busy and they let it go. They were looking at some online stuff to look around the internet. Pyrrha was still seeing posts about her going to Beacon, and just sighed, Ruby was looking at weapons as usual in their own respected rooms. They were alone for now. But then they froze. It said: "Alleged Rapist Caught and Beaten, By Teens." At first they were glad that the rapist was caught, Ruby may seem innocent for the most part, but she knows about stuff like that. But then they froze, and paled to see the video of none other that their friend Jaune Arc, beaten, and bruised. He was naked, but his privates were censored due to the website, and he looked out of it. They were horrified, to see their best friend like that, they could see the look in his eyes. They were hurt, and sad. His eyes had the light of loneliness, and defeat.
They couldn't believe that he is a rapist, he never had any signs, or deceit for that. He never tried to creep on them, always respectful, and never asked anything sexual, heck he didn't even ask them of any boys that they may like. Something was off and they didn't like it. Both Ruby, and Pyrrha got out of their beds, and dressed in their normal attire as huntresses. They both walked out the room, and looked each other in the eyes, and knew one thing.
"We have to go see Jaune." They both said at the same time. They weren't even surprised that they had the same mindset, their friend needed them. But they were stopped by their teams coming down the hallway. Yang's eyes were red, and hair was on fire, her semblance was activated. Weiss was disgusted and seething. Blake looked uncomfortable and nervous. Ilia was disgusted, Ren was actually making a slight angry face, and Nora looked sad.
"Where do you think you two are going?!" Yang spoke to them angrily. "We are just-" "No you are not Ruby, I want you to delete his contact and never talk to him again!" Yang ordered her sister after interrupting her. "I can't believe that disgusting freak had the nerve to even approach me, let alone you Pyrrha, you should really order a restraining order from him, I'm about to do the same when we get back to our dorms. Don't worry he won't be near us ever again." Weiss said to Pyrrha. "And you to Ruby, don't worry, I will personally pay for a lawyer for you too." Weiss said to her partner this time.
"Guys listen please-" "Pyrrha, you should delete his number now, and lose all contact with him." Ren said in silent rage. "Guys please listen I don't believe Jaune will do something like this, we know him, and he never did anything to us, or even creeping on us. How did you all know about this anyway?" Ruby said to them ending in a question.
Blake pulled out her scroll. "It's a breaking news report, rape is taken very seriously in the Vale, and around it." Blake said evenly.
"Yeah, what she said." Ilia agreed with Blake. "I knew there was a reason for me not to like him, Ruby give me your scroll now!" Yang demanded, grabbing her scroll. Ruby tried to get it back but Yang copied Jaune's number.
"Listen here Jaune Arc, you talked to my baby sister, Ruby again, I will personally go to your home shove my fist so far up your ass, that you will taste shotgun shells for the rest of your life. Even looking at her, or even look at my tits, I will rip your micro dick off, I swear it you freak!" Yang sent her message to Jaune.
"Yang you don't even know if he did it or not, none of you truly know him like we do!" Ruby defended Jaune, and Pyrrha nodded.
"I agree with Ruby, we have been talking to him for awhile now, and he is a great person, he never once made us uncomfortable, or spoken to us sexually, you don't have proof he did it!" Pyrrha also defended.
Weiss then showed them the victim confessing what he did to her on a personal scroll. Everyone was surprised of what she said. But Pyrrha, Blake, and Ilia, looked at it strangely. Normally rape victims don't immediately confess like this, and most of them don't want to speak up about what happened to them in detail like that. And the way she talked about him, it seemed even more malicious. The victims don't normally bad mouth their attackers like that, and that soon. They would have some fear, and meekness about them. Something didn't seem right.
"See right here is your proof. Now come on you two we have work to do." Weiss said grabbing Ruby by one arm, and Yang the other. She protested to no end. The same with Pyrrha as she was guided back. Those two know that their friend is not like that, what truly did happen?
As Weiss tried to call some lawyers, Yang was trying to get in contact with her Uncle Qrow, to see if he could threaten Jaune not to get anywhere near her sister, even with a restraining order put on. Luckly for Pyrrha and Ruby, they couldn't get a hold of them. Everyone in those dorms spent the day angry or moping about what happened. They went to bed early, and didn't have the energy to go out, or eat out due to it being a Friday. But Ruby, and Pyrrha were trying to text Jaune still, no answer, they were worried sick, and could barely sleep.
The next morning, they got another breaking news about what happened yesterday, and to Ruby's and Pyrrha's shock, and relief it was good news for them!
"Alleged Rapist Innocent, Bullying Takes Extreme Turn!" They both read the article, and found out about what really happened. They were both disgusted and angered on how this happened. Jaune was the real victim. He was bullied relentlessly and framed for a crime he didn't commit. They managed to even to hear the raw footage that looked like Jaune had recorded. There best friend was so smart! It saddened them to hear how they treated him, and to hear what that girl said to him. "I will make sure you die alone." Made them want to go there and beat the ever living hell out of that woman who said that to him.
They were relieved that majority was arrested, but infuriated that the woman just go 10 years of probation, and 10 years of House arrest! How is that fair?! It was 9am and Ruby took out her whistle and woke everyone up.
"Alright everyone wake right now, this is important!" Ruby yelled at her team. Blake held her ears all of them without anyone looking, Weiss grumbled, and Yang fell off her bed. "What is it Rubes?" Yang asked still sleepy. She essentially shoved her scroll into her sister's face. And Yang read the news article. And looked surprised by how the things turned out. "What's the issue?" Weiss asked annoyed, along with Blake getting up. They see the news article with surprise. Ruby's team read the article themselves, and heard the recording that Jaune recorded prior to it. That made them look at Ruby in shock. Ruby had her hands on her hips and gave them all a stern look.
"Now do you believe me?" Ruby asked her team. They looked away in shame, for jumping to conclusions. Especially Blake for not giving him the benefit of the doubt. But they still had their gripes.
"He may have not done this, but I still don't want him near me." Weiss said looking away. She was still sore about his flirting, and believed that he only cared about her money, and name.
"I still don't think you should be around him Rubes, he may be innocent, but, he was still accused of this. Even if he is innocent, he will face discrimination. Are you sure you want to be friends with him Ruby?" Yang asked, she felt bad for what she said to him, and wanted to apologize, but she was still concerned with Ruby, having a friend with an allegation like that will follow him, and affect him for the rest of his life.
Ruby looked at her sister with determination. "He is the first friend I had made on my own, he reached his hand out to me, so that I can feel welcomed and not alone, he helped me a lot, and now it's my turn to reach my hand out to him." Ruby said looking at her sister. Yang looked up to her sister with pride. Pride in knowing that her baby sister is growing up so fast.
Yang got up to her and gave her a hug. "I will support you through this Rubes, and I want to come with you so I can apologize to him directly. He doesn't deserve what I said, and me assuming so quickly of what happened." Yang said to her sister with some tears falling out. Ruby looked up to her sister, and smiled at her, grateful that her sister understood. Blake stood there happy things are going better with those two, and glad that Jaune wasn't like that, and hoped that things will get better for him in the future. Weiss still looked conflicted, she wasn't ready to face him, due to her believing he only liked her because she was a Schnee.
Pyrrha was out side the door smiling in pride with how her sister team was able to come to a compromise easily. The conversation with her team was easier. When they all fought together, he earned their trust in him, able to lead that quickly, in a stressful situation that helped a lot more, they supported her, and asked her to be careful. She even told them: "I don't care if my fame decreases from me being close to him, he is my friend, I will not leave him." When Pyrrha wants to do something for someone, and do something she wants she will do it. Coming to Beacon truly helped her grow, and she will continue to grow even more.
She and Ruby, were already going to go out to Ansel to find Jaune, and be there for him. He was there for them when they needed an ear, now it was there turn. But, at the back of their minds, they were giggling, and blushing being able to see where he lives, and maybe meeting his family. It was so exciting!
Author's Note: I know people it is still depressing, this is the last chapter that will bash Jaune super heavily, there will be some next chapter but with Ruby, Pyrrha, Yang, and Ilia there with Jaune, they will be there for him I will assure that. Ruby, Pyrrha, and Yang will come up with a plan to help him out.
And, I made a mistake with the timeline when Beacon started, so going forward it is near the beginning of Spring, and he will be out of school soon, and will be able to use his aura freely, since he has been having help from his father. Thank you all for reading this chapter. See you all next time, and May God Continue To Bless You All!
