Chapter 67 Three Fights

Danny entered the ring and found himself facing a bounty hunter called Brass Knuckles. The bounty hunter was an average size muscular man wearing bronze colored clothes and he seemed to have large robotic hands made out some kind of bronze metal, which gave him his nickname. The ref waved his hand and the battle began. Brass Knuckles charged at Danny throwing punches at him. Danny used his training to dodge the blows thrown by his opponent and delivered a punch to the bounty hunter's gut making him grunt and stumble back in pain. Danny advanced towards Brass Knuckles, but the bounty hunter recovered and managed to knock Danny back with a blow from one of his elbows dazing the teen. Brass Knuckles charged at Danny again, but the young Jedi managed to recover and delivered several well placed punches to the bounty hunter's face and chest. After a few good blows Brass Knuckles fell to his back and laid on the ground unconscious. The red pronounced Danny as the winner and the crowd cheered.
From his box Hotep Ra let out a few little curses at the early defeat of his fighter.
Danny left the ring and the next two to enter were Vid and a bounty hunter called Doombringer. Doombringer was a human female with white hair and a black bodysuit. She carried a blunt sword, while Vid carried no weapons. The ref waved his hand and Doombringer charged at Vid with a mighty war cry. Vid calmly stared her opponent down, until she was only a few feet from her and then she unleashed a bunch of lightning quick punches to Doombringer's face, neck, and chest. All the punches connected and Doombringer crashed to the ground in seconds and was unconscious. It was the quickest fight anyone had ever seen. Vid was declared the winner and she silently exited the ring.
Next up it was Valerie and Nightmerica. Valerie was surprised to see Nightmerica, who just grinned at her with glee. Nightmerica didn't have her gloves on, but Valerie knew she was still a dangerous fighter. The fight began and Nightmerica charged at Valerie with a bunch of punches. Valerie managed to dodge and block the blows thanks to her speed and then she knocked Nightmerica back with a kick. Nightmerica let out a snarl as she pulled a tiny knife out from behind her back. Valerie expected the ref to immediately stop the fight at the sight of the hidden weapon, but nothing happened. Nightmerica charged at Valerie swinging her blade at her and forcing the Rebel to retreat. Valerie managed to avoid serious harm, but she still managed to get a few cuts on her arms and legs and a couple of those were bleeding. Nightmerica laughed with glee at the sight of blood, before she thrusted her knife at Valerie's chest. Valerie managed to stop the thrust by grabbing onto Nightmerica's hand and then she began to twist the hand hard. Nightmerica cried out in pain and dropped the knife. Valerie then delivered a headbutt to Nightmerica's face that broke her nose and knocked the bounty hunter out. The crowd cheered and Valerie shot an angry glare at the ref, who flinched under her gaze.
Guards came in and dragged Nightmerica away, while up in his royal box, Aragon just smiled. The tournament was really heating up.
