Chapter 69 On Time

Danny ate a meal with Tucker, Wulf, and Valerie. The young Jedi was lost in thought about the mysterious Force presence he felt during the tournament, along with the stranger he caught a few glimpses of watching him from the crowd. Danny believed the Force presence, he felt came from the stranger. Tucker, Wulf, and Valerie were discussing the tournament and the threats they might face since it was highly likely that old enemies of theirs were also competing in the tournament and might seek revenge on the Rebels. Valerie had already fought Nightmerica in the tournament, so she figured Femalien and Terminatra were also somewhere on the planet and competing in the tournament. It was then that Danny stood up and began walking away.
"Where are you going?" Asked Tucker.
"I sensed something in the Force during the tournament and I think someone is calling out to me." Said Danny.
"Well whatever it is I hope you find it. Just be careful. There's a bunch of people, who might be after us." Said Valerie.
Danny nodded his head and went on his way. The Jedi tapped into the Force and began to search the surrounding city and castle with his mind. Danny detected two dark presences coming from inside the castle and outside it. Neither felt like the one he felt at the tournament. He did some more searching and found an odd presence coming from the shop district, so he decided to check it out. Danny walked into the shop district and came across a shop full of clocks and antiques and went inside. The shop was big and full of all kinds of different things. Danny came upon a wall that had a painting on it that made him freeze. The painting was of Danny. The young Jedi could do nothing, but stare.
"Ah your right on time. I've been expecting you for quit some time Danny Fenton." Said a voice from behind.
Danny turned to see the stranger he saw from earlier that day and he felt the same Force presence as before.
"Who are you?" Asked Danny.
"I am Jedi Master Clockwork. I served on the Jedi Council, fought in the Clone Wars, and taught your mother everything she knows."
Danny was stunned by this.
"It's a lot to take in, but I foresaw this moment coming through the Force. It also told me of your destiny and what you need to be taught to help overcome the challenges up ahead." Said Clockwork.
"My destiny?" Asked Danny.
Clockwork just smiled and nodded his head.
