(Hard Knock Battle)

*July, 26th, 1906*

*Topeka, Kansas*

Dion stood in front of Scarecrow and the others as he set his sights on battling the group.

"D-Damn it! It seems we have to fight him. Everyone stay on your guard!" Scarecrow advised his friends while preparing himself for whatever was next.

"G-Got it!" Tin Woodman responded while preparing his ax for battle, and during this, Dorothy watched from the cube prison as she struggled to break free.

"D-Damn it! Everyone is going to get creamed while I'm sitting there being helpless!" Dorothy thought to herself while she continued to struggle to break free.

During this, Dion cracked his knuckles as he was ready to attack; however, he noticed someone approaching him, and it was Kiki.

This action made the creature turn around with a smile on his face.

"Oh, you must be Kiki, right? You're intending to fight me as well?" Dion asked the young girl in a curious voice while Kiki nodded in confirmation.

"Yes, I refuse to allow you to harm Dorothy's friends so I shall be the one to defeat you." Kiki responded while walking forward to face her opponent.

This moment surprised everyone since they didn't expect Kiki to fight Dion.

"K-Kiki! We should assist you, it's a Battle Royale, right? We should help." Scarecrow advised Kiki while Lion and the others nodded in agreement.

"We may not be strong like you, Dorothy, and Ozma; however, we can at least provide some assistance." Lion chimed into the conversation in hopes of convincing Kiki to accept their offer.

After hearing this, Kiki accepted the offer with a smile on her face.

"Of course. Just try to keep up with me!" Kiki accepted with a smile while she and everyone else prepared for the upcoming battle.

"Thanks! We just want to be useful and help Dorothy and Ozma, they've done so much for us, so this is how we repay them." Scarecrow responded with a smile before preparing himself for the battle.

This chain of events made Dion smirk as he found himself facing the might of Dorothy and Ozma's allies.

"Alright, let's begin," Dion responded with a smirk thus kicking off the battle.

Immediately after this, Dion wasted no time and dashed toward everyone with such speed, and soon, everyone felt extreme pain as if they'd been punched.

"S-So fast.." Scarecrow uttered while feeling a few of his wool being cut from the impact before looking back to see Dion charging at him.

The speed of Dion was too much as the creature quickly delivered a hard uppercut toward Scarecrow's stomach which sent him flying in pain.

"W-Wha.." Scarecrow uttered while feeling the intense pain while coughing up some wool and spit from his mouth before collapsing on the ground, falling unconscious.

"Oh, my apologies. I didn't mean to go all out. I should have warned everyone.." Dion apologized in a mocking voice before quickly noticing more people charging toward him in the heat of the moment.

The people were Polychrome and Tin Woodman who quickly charged at him.

"S-Scarecrow!" Polychrome cried in a worried voice before delivering a hard punch toward Dion's face which caused him to grunt in pain while he looked over to see Tin Woodman quickly using his ax to swing it down in his neck.

This event caused Dion to collapse on the ground as both Polychrome and Tin Woodman quickly jumped out of the way…to make way for Scarecrow's attack! At that moment, Scarecrow quickly got up with a smirk, shocking Dion.

"W-What?!" Dion uttered in surprise before quickly feeling himself wrapped around Scarecrow's wool.

"Fooled ya..but that punch did hurt.." Scarecrow uttered in between breaths while looking up to the sky to see Kiki charging right below him from the sky.

"Take thisss!" Kiki cried out while unleashing a red energy ball attack from both of her hands. Kiki charged toward Dion with the attack in her hands as she unleashed it upon Dion, creating a small explosion that shocked the others.

Dorothy saw this from their cube prison as she didn't expect such a performance.

"W-Wow. Such amazing power. I was scared for Scarecrow for a second but why isn't Dion taking this seriously…" Dorothy spoke to herself while she continued to watch the ongoing battle.

Back at the battlefield, the dust slowly settled, and immediately, Dion quickly flew up from the dust, and right as he did, he saw Azure and Omby Amby approaching him.

"This is payback for what you did to me back at Munchkin Country!" Azure cried out in motivation while he delivered multiple punches to Dion's face before ending it with a hard kick to his stomach.

After this, Dion grunted in pain before smirking at this while looking over to see Omby Amby charging at him with amazing speed, his fist balled up as he was prepared to deliver a powerful punch.

Omby Amby let out a cry before delivering a mighty punch to Dion's cheek which sent him crashing back to the ground.

"Serves you right. You can't defeat us if we all band together." Omby Amby spoke in a confident voice while smiling at Azure.

"It's been a while, brother. How's Munchkin Country." Omby Amby greeted his brother while he and Azure slowly descended to the ground.

"It's going good, I see that Emerald City has been treating you well." Azure responded as the brothers shared a laugh while finally reaching the ground.

Soon after, Emily, who had seen everything quickly spoke to her microphone.

"Wow! It seems like Dion is struggling against Dorothy's allies but will it be enough to defeat him?!" Emily spoke to the microphone in an upbeat voice while Betsy and Zeb also watched with anticipation.

Back at the battlefield, Scarecrow and the others walked over to see Dion on the ground; however, the creature quickly got back up.

"It's not going to be that easy, Dion is still alive and kicking…" Kiki warned everyone while looking over to see Dion emerging from the smoke.

"I hope everyone's warmed up because it's time for me to get serious. Did you guys honestly think I was going to be easily defeated? Come on!" Dion spoke to the group with a sinister smile.

Soon after saying this, Dion closed his eyes for a few seconds before letting out a shout, and this caused an aura to appear around him thus increasing his power.

"Now, let's begin!" Dion uttered before quickly focusing his sights on Scarecrow as he quickly charged at him with speed.

Everything happened too fast as Dion was able to deliver a hard uppercut to Scarecrow's stomach, causing him to cry out in pain before he was knocked down for good.

Soon after, he set his sets on Tin Woodman before quickly knocking him another cold with a hard punch to his metallic neck, bringing him down as well.

After the assault, Lion quickly charged at the opponent.

"S-Scarecrow! Woodman!" Lion cried in desperation while attempting to use his teeth to bite Dion; however, the creature quickly caught Lion by his paw, shocking him.

"W-What?!" Lion uttered in surprise while staring down at Dion.

"I have no interest in you, Lion! You're just a hunk of junk with little value!" Dion insulted Lion before throwing him back to the ground; however, he wasn't down yet as he formed a blade using his energy.

After forming the attack, Dion smiled as he walked closer to his opponent; however!

"Leave my friends alone!" Polychrome cried out in anger before charging directly at Dion, jabbing straight in the stomach with her fist which sent Dion flying back to the air.

Polychrome quickly caught up to Dion; however, she suddenly felt a wave of sharp objects penetrating her body, causing her to cough out blood.

Meanwhile, Dorothy screamed in horror as she saw this before banging on the cube even harder, hoping to get out.

"D-Damn it!" Dorothy spoke in annoyance and fear while concentrating her energy on her fists before using it to punch the wall; however, it was to no avail as the material was too strong.

"Damn it all, Hang in there, Polychrome.." Dorothy uttered in defeat while continuing to watch the ongoing battle.

Back at the battlefield, Polychrome coughed more blood as she looked up to see Dion smirking.

Dion's entire right arm and hand turned into large metal spikes, a move that was completely original to him.

"No wonder why you're considered the most reckless. You don't know when to quit, you little rainbow girl. You're weak and alone, just like Dorothy." Dion uttered with a smirk while chuckling to himself before taking the spikes out of Polychrome's body; however, she wasn't done yet.

"Yes, I'm reckless! Yes, I'm weak! I'm the youngest of my siblings. I don't go out as often. I'm anti-social; however!" Polychrome uttered in a serious voice before quickly charging directly at her opponent, ready to attack.

After this, Polychrome's speed increased as rainbow sparks illuminated from behind. Dion smiled at this before forming a spear from his hand before attempting to stab Polychrome with it, face being filled with annoyance.

"I'M NOT WEAK OR ALONE!" Polychrome cried out, rainbow tears flowing from her face while balled up her first for an attack.

After her statement, Polychrome delivered a hard punch to Dion's cheek which made him grunt in pain as this sent him flying back.

"I HAVE MY FRIENDS! And also, NEVER call Dorothy weak or alone!" Polychrome cried in anger while quickly charging in the direction he was being sent; however, she felt a sharp pain in her right ear.

As it turned out, Dion with quick thinking managed to use his blade to quickly dash through Polychrome, cutting her right ear completely, shocking everyone.

"P-Polychrome!" Dorothy cried out from her prison cube. Ozma, who was also in the prison cube, had the same reaction.

"O-Oh no! I-If only we could get out of this prison!" Ozma uttered in defeat while she continued to use her power to break free from the prison.

The reactions from Kiki and the others were also filled with shock as Kiki quickly flew up to assist her friend.

Back at the battlefield, Polychrome winced in pain as she felt a burning pain on her right side while feeling the blood pouring from her right of her face.

She could also feel tears welling up because of the pain.

"I-I refuse..to give up.." Polychrome uttered in a serious voice while her rainbow tears fell down her face.

"It's happening again, j-just like when I could only watch Scarecrow and Tin Woodman be destroyed by the Winged Monkeys under the Wicked Witch of the West's orders a few years ago.." Dorothy thought to herself in sadness while falling to her knees.

The battle rages on while Dorothy and Ozma can only watch…
