A Little Hazbin 3: Rise of the Nephilim Ch. 01
Celest had just finished putting on her pajamas when her Mama came into the bedroom with her. "So, I won't be seeing Grandma and Grandpa for a while?"
"Afraid not," Vaggie shakes her head. "They had to go on a special trip, but they'll be back before you know it, Honey. At least by the next time we see them, there'll be a new member of the family to greet. Now," the Fallen Angel picks up the Little Hazbin and sets her into the bed. "Bedtime!"
"I don't need you guys to tuck me into bed every night, Mama. I'm almost eight," the child argues.
"Physically, you may be eight," Vaggie counters. "But technically, you're only three years old." The little girl pouts.
Charlie lets out a giggle while entering her daughter's bedroom. "Sorry, Sweetie. It's just that you seem to be growing too fast. You're Mama and I just want to enjoy you as our little girl while we still can."
Celest crosses her arms. "Yeah, well I can't wait to grow up!"
"Oh, sure. 'Cause adulting is so much fun," Vaggie says with the sarcasm evident in her voice. "There's trying to find your own place when you move out. Not to mention trying to find a job so you can keep the place. Probably a cheap rundown apartment in the worst part of town."
Charlie nods. "Don't forget the bills. The electric bill, the water bill. Internet if you're really good at budgeting. "
The Fallen Angel shrugs. "Between all that, who knows when you'd have free time to have fun."
The Hotel Owner then adds. "Or even just to rest for a few minutes if you're really lucky."
Celest peeks out from under her covers. "Maybe I can wait to grow up. At least for a little while longer. But I still want to grow up."
"And that's fine," Charlie plants kiss on Celest's cheek. "Just slow down a little. Goodnight, Sweetie."
"Night, Mom."
Vaggie then kisses their daughter as well. "Goodnight, Honey."
"Night, Mama," Celest lets out a yawn before dozing off.
The two mothers then make their way out of child's room.
.oOo.
There was a good man who is actually bad.
A door opens and terrifying birds fly in.
An hourglass filled with white sand tips over and as the sand pours into the bottom, it turns black.
You must choose, Celestial Miraculous Morningstar!
.oOo.
Celest wakes up from the weird dream and immediately feels something off. Sitting up the girl finds that her feet were hanging off the edge of her bed. Throwing her covers off she then finds that she's wearing shorts. The child could have sworn she put on pants last night.
The Little Hazbin gets up and she feels like she's lower than what she should be. The girl stands up and just like every morning goes over to her closet to get ready for the day. "Ow!" Celest hits her head on something and while rubbing her head, she looks up to see the chandelier and for the first time notices that the ceiling is far lower than it should be.
"What the…" Celest steps back and lets out a yelp as she finds herself sitting on the floor. "Ow!" looking back towards her feet, the child finds that the chair of her vanity had somehow shrunk.
Speaking of vanity, Celest turns to the mirror and lets out a small yelp at an unfamiliar yet familiar face of a tall woman. The stranger has the exact same skin tone as her Mama and matching eyes, her Mom's nose and hair color with exception of the spiral of white.
Raising one hand and waving it, watching the stranger do the same. Standing back up, Celest finally realizes that it's her reflection and starts running her hand over herself. her hands stopping just above her waist at her now exposed stomach since her pajama shirt no longer fits.
She's freaking out so much that the only thing she could do was let out a scream.
Not two seconds later, her moms burst through the door and at first, Celest was relieved but then a spear is pointing at her neck.
"The Hell are you doing here!?" Vaggie glares. "and where's my daughter!?"
Celest wanted to tell her that she's right here but is too afraid. She knew that her Mama had a bad side. But she never thought it be turned towards her.
Charlie stares at the Not So Little Hazbin. "Vaggie," and steps up to her while pointing. "Look."
The Fallen Angel's eye widens as she drops the spear when the realization dawns on her. "Celest?"
"Mom, Mama. I don't know what's happening to me," the now grown Celest can feel her eyes start to well up. "I'm scared. What's going on?"
Both women stared at their grown daughter before simultaneously saying. "What the f—"
