Kenji Saegusa
At evening, A young man with tied jet-black hair name Kenji Saegusa was walking back home after school from his martial art practice. His great-great grandmother was once a member of G-Force, a joint military of countermeasure against Godzilla, and a psychic. She was the only one to control the giant lizard, telepathically and somehow inherited her gene.
"I'm home!" He called out, but no one answered.
Kenji went to the kitchen and saw the notes on the refrigerator. It said 'Be back at midnight, Mom'.
His mom works late again while dad was on the air travel for business meeting and his little brother is upstairs so Kenji went up to check on him and he was a sleep.
Since mom won't be back home, Kenji decided head to the city for night walk.
This Tokyo is where Godzilla attacked and fought the other monsters many times before. He always wondered why does it keep happening here when Tokyo is under attack. Luckily, no one seen Godzilla or any other monsters as if they were never seen or heard from again. He walked by some shops and stores that sells merchandise that based on Godzilla and other monsters as if they were becoming popular for kids and all ages. To him, he's quite fond with those kaiju since he finds them magnificent and fascinating despite their aggressiveness and danger to this country.
'I wonder what happened to him and the others?' He wondered.
Tokyo seems to be quiet and peace since there was no sign of Godzilla or any other monsters that he heard. It seems that Tokyo can finally sleep with no loud noises or any monster attack.
Suddenly, Kenji heard a scream, coming from an alley so he went there to check it out and to his shock and horror, he saw a naked woman and she was raped by an ogre-like creatures. Kenji stood there in shock, not knowing what it is or what to do so he walked back, slowly and started running back to the house but he saw a many people who were running and screaming from those creatures that he never seen them before.
"What the hell is going here?" He muttered while in shock.
One of the creatures comes at him, slashing across his chest and his right eye with its claws.
"ARRGGHH!" Kenji yelled in pain, snapping out his thought.
He hold his chest in pain before started running back to his house. He feared that if those things gets to his brother that he left him alone, he might not forgive himself and hoped his mom is safe after what he saw those things in the city.
He took a shortcut to his house by heading to the woods. As Kenji keeps running, he feel like that he's losing all his blood and tried to stop bleeding from his wounds but Kenji have to keep moving. While he kept heading back home, He heard a strange sound but every time he turned, he saw nothing. Kenji thought it was one of those creatures that attacked him but it was much louder than that. He wandered in the woods aimlessly while heading back to the house but he accidently tripped and fell down to the crevasse when he wasn't looking.
Kenji fell down in the hole deeper, deeper, and deeper and after that, he blacked out.
He heard that death is like an eternal sleep and you can't feel any pain or injury after being killed. Unfortunately, fate has other ideas as Kenji started waking up and found himself in the forest where he was in. His clothes is tattered and ripped, but no bruises or scratches except the the claw marks on his chest and his scar on his right eye.
"How long I've been out?" Kenji wondered, rubbing his head.
He begin to process what happened; He remembered running in the woods from those creatures in the city and ran back home before falling in the chasm.
"Oh no!" He gasped in realized.
He got up quickly and ran back to my home. When he got back to his house, everything was out of shape like the broken windows, cobwebs covering the furniture, and so many dust everywhere as if nobody lives here for a very long time.
"No, it can't be!" He said before going in the house. "Mom! Dad! Shindo!"
He tried calling out to them but there was no answer. Kenji looked everywhere but there's no one here, even his room was all dusty and cobwebs all over it.
"How long was I gone?!" He cried while holding his head in distress. "This has to be a dream!"
Kenji steps on something, looked down before picking it up to see the photo of him and his family as his eyes is growing in tears, knowing that he will never see them again and was left all alone.
"Mom.. Dad... little brother..." He sobbed before collapsing on the floor. "Where have you... gone? Don't leave me alone..."
As he cries in tears, he turned to see the broken mirror shard, thinking that he wanted to kill himself, before grabbing it and position it to his throat.
'I'm coming home so please don't wait for me.'
Before he thrust the mirror shard into his throat, he had the flashback of his moments with his family before everything happened. He collapsed and started to break down in tears, crying for them.
'I can't do it! I can't do it!' Kenji thought that he can't kill himself as he cried.
After he ran out of tears, he walked out of the house and never looking back at it since his family is not even here anymore.
As the night falls, Kenji went to the Tokyo city and noticed it changed ever since he ran from those creatures.
"Looks like everything has changed a bit." He muttered before he looks at the rugged newspaper and picked it up. "Demons? Taimanins?" He then looked over at the date, "2072?! That's impossible!"
He realized that he had been gone for forty-nine years and now, he has awakened in the future.
'What the hell is going on here? Am I dead?' He said, distressed to think that he had been dead for long time and suddenly woke up in the future.
Suddenly, he felt a sudden headache as he reached his head.
"My head! What was this pain I felt?" He muttered.
He went exploring around city, hoping to find a place to stay for a while until...
"HELP! Somebody help me!" Kenji heard a scream but before he follows the scream, he felt the pain in his chest.
"What's…happening…to me?!" He moaned while he clutched his chest and his head as he falls down on the ground. "Guah…Goowh…GRRYYAAAHH!" Kenji screamed in agony as his body is starting to change when his shoulders is sprouting a large crystal, his back is growing a spike-dorsal fins with armor around his chest and sprouted a folded insect wings while one left wing is colorful and right wing is dark with red, yellow, and purple patterns, his right arm is change with brick-like skins, sprouting the blue tentacles around his elbow and a forearm with metal gauntlet with blaster, sprouting the light blue tentacles with while his left arm is changed into thick skin with spikes and left forearm is a lava with wrist launcher, his right thigh changed to a shell and the right leg turned into a slime coat while his left thigh turned into a molten lava and his leg changed to a crystal skin with a sharp crystal toes. Kenji's rear is sprouting a long tail with foldable fin, a pincer claw on tip of the tail with stinger followed by two vine tendrils. His face is covered with silver mask with glowing yellow eyes and smiley grin while his forehead has a crown-shaped glowing crystal and his skin is black scales with horns sticking out his each sides of his heads. Kenji's sides is wrapped with spider's leg and mantis' claws while under the chest armor is a rotating buzzsaw and a chest spikes. Behind his legs and rear is sprouting the pterosaur wings.
"Hugh… Hugh… Hugh…" Kenji breathed, gets up from the sidewalk and ran to where the scream comes from.
When he gets there, it sounded like it came from the alley. Kenji went deeper and saw the woman getting raped and torn clothes by an orc.
"On no, it happened again…" He gasped but noticed that he wears a mask and his right hand is made a metal and equipped with Railgun. "My hand?! My face?!" He looked down at his body and noticed that his whole body changed. "What the hell is happening to me!?"
"Hey, who are you?!" Kenji heard a voice coming from the orc.
They noticed his outburst while he was panicking the change he's been.
"Uh, what are you doing with that young woman?" He asked, hesitantly.
"That's none of your business. Now beat it or get teared apart!" The orc said in threatened tone.
"I don't think I would do that." Kenji replied until his chest armor opens up. "Hugh?!"
His chest shoots the buzzsaws at the orc, cutting off his head as it spills out his blood and dropped dead.
"The armor! It shoots the saw blades?!" He exclaimed as it closed it shut.
He then approached the naked woman, who was frightened by my appearance.
"Uh, who a-are y-you?" She said, stammered while covering her naked body.
"I'm… just a friend." Kenji replied, extending his hand to her.
"T-thank you." She said, taking his hand.
"Tell me, what were those things that tried to rape you?" He asked.
"Demons… They were terrorizing Japan for years. They kill men and violating the women." She explained before leading him to the Tokyo Penthouse. "They came from the penthouse on top of the apartment, lead by a demon named, Impu'luk. He took in human form and brought the poor girls from Under Eden."
"So this is where a demon lives, huh?" He said.
"Yes, but what are you going to do now?" The woman asked.
"Well, since I have nowhere else to go and stay, I might as well take the penthouse for myself after I killed those ingrateful parasites and this Impu'luk." He decided. "But first…"
He look around for something for her to cover her body and found a towel on the rack.
"Here, now go before those things come after you again."
"Thank you but be careful." She said before fleeing.
"I will." He assured her as she left but realized about what he said, 'Damn it! What the hell did I gotten myself into?! I just killed that monster with flying saw-blade from my chest.' He thought in distressed before calming down. "Okay, calm down. Get ahold of yourself." He said to himself before looking at his body. "I might have to get use to it as soon as I figure it out how I do this."
He suddenly turned back into normal self with a flash in smoke.
"Huh? I'm back to my old self again." He said
Kenji went to the apartment stopped to take a deep breath before entering the lobby and saw the desk clerk.
"Can I help you?" He asked.
"Yeah, um, you wouldn't have any available room for me, would you?" Kenji asked. "Because I need a place to stay."
"We have rooms at 19th floor, would you like that?" He offered him.
"Actually, I was thinking that I need a room where this guy name Impu'luk owned." He replied.
Unfortunately, that made desk-clerk tensed up by that name and turned into demon.
'Great, another demon that the woman told me.' He groaned.
He moved out of its way when the demonic desk clerk lunges at him as Kenji suddenly turned back into a monstrous form again.
"Again? Now what do I do?" Kenji said before noticed somethings on his back, along with something in the belt that look like a sword. "It looks like... weapons?" He pulled the sword made of stone from his belt. "This will do…"
He looked to see the demon coming at him and slice it in half, spilling guts and blood all over the floor.
"Gross, this is a big mess." He remarked, disgusted.
Kenji went to the desk and saw the lock in the computer to the penthouse.
"So this is how he locked the penthouse? No problem." He exclaimed, deactivating the lock to the penthouse and went to the elevator.
"I've got to save those poor girls and get rid of those things, especially that Impu'luk." He said, getting ready to slaughter those demons. "Maybe getting rid of them would take my mind off."
When he reached the penthouse as the elevator door opens, he started to smell the reek of demons.
"Ugh, did someone let the rats in?!" He mumbled as he enter the penthouse.
Kenji saw the five poor naked girls getting raped by more demons and saw the another demon, who was watching them, amused.
"So that must be him." He mumbled.
The sight of them makes him very angry and start killing the demons with the halberd of Guan Yu, swiftly. The girls scrambled to the corner of the room as Kenji makes his way to the last demon as he unsheathe his sword for intent to kill.
"Who the hell are you?! How did you get in here?!" Impu'luk demanded as he backs away from him but Kenji used his tentacles to drag him closer. "No, please! Let me go! Ryuuji Kuroi is gonna kill you! You hear me? The Incubus King will kill you!"
"Who gives a damn about Incubus King?!" Kenji said before slicing his head off and dropping the headless body.
He looked to where the girls are and approaching them before using his wing's power to dispel the marking on their stomachs when he sees them and starting spitting a silk web from his mouth through the mask to make a silk robe for them and give it to the girls.
"Now go on, get out of here." He told them leave.
"Thank you but what is your name?" The girl asked.
"Um…" Kenji paused and looked at the nearby mirror, noticing his back has a spike dorsal fin that the certain giant lizard had before looking back at the girls. "Kenji, the Prince of the Monsters."
"Thank you, Kenji!" The girl said as they hurried to the elevator but not before the last girl kissed his mask and left with the others. "What was that for?" He reached his mask where she kissed.
Kenji looked to where the demons he killed. He used his telekinetic power to carry their corpse to the pile as his shoulder crystals glows and spews the Sulfuric Acid Mist on the pile, melting them to the bones.
"What a mess and I have to clean it up." He said, morphed back to his normal self and putting all the bones to the trash bag and dumped them to the trash chute.
Kenji looked around the penthouse, admitted that those demons has a taste in luxury. The penthouse is so big and it has a pool outside with foldable chair, the bathroom is shiny and has a lot of body wash and shampoo, the kitchen has the food in the fridge, the bedroom was clean and neat, and the living room area has comfortable L-shape couch and the TV.
He heard a stomach growling, meaning he hasn't eaten all day. So, Kenji start making his own dinner with the ingredients from the fridge to make something.
After he finished his dinner, he turned on the TV to watched the news to see what's happening in this city. While he listens to the news, Kenji walks outside and looking over the city, then up at the night skies, contemplating of what occurs today.
"Mom, Dad, Shindo, if you can hear me, I've been out for forty-nine years and I woke up in ahead of time. I've began to think that maybe I died when I fell in the large hole." He said. "I know that you all think that I was dead when everything happened and here I am but you weren't here anymore. The Japan has changed and… I've changed too because these powers came from kaiju themselves, including Godzilla. I hope you understand that I have my own life now and a new purpose since this world has changed and you all can rest in peace."
Kenji went back inside, turning off the TV, brushed his teeth and headed to the bedroom to sleep. He would hope that tomorrow will be better day until he figures out how his body and power work before he fell asleep in the bed.
