"Rocke… are you awake. Or all snuggled up in bed with John and Yoko in Lennonville." Piper asked softly.
It was late-night into early morning and in the Nirohita apartment while Kimi was working the night shift at the karaoje bar that she'd foubd an infant Rocke outside, Piper and Rocke were in their room as the lava lamp nightlight shone brightly and soothingly to the poibt where after Kini had turned it on, givenPiper and Rocke goodnight kisses after readibg to them, Rocke had fallen asleep after cuddling his stuffies of John Lennon and Yoko Ono so had conked out. Piper was happy Rocke was asleep as she and Kimi knew he had sleeping problems because of the men in suits so John and Yoko along with her and Kini maxe him feel safe only she was having trouble sleeping as she was still getting adjusted to being here as a few days ago, she'd met Rocke and he'd saved her life by giving her some of his blood seeing the band-aid on her paw which Kimi had did when Rocke had brought her home and had explained toher to Kimi about how Rocke had foubd and saved her, which Kimi found sweet so had let her live with them.
"At least you're sleeping Rocke which is a good thing. Maybe later, I'll take a nap." she mumbled softy despite lovibf the cosy vibe along with Rocke's sleep snorts makibg a grin crossher face at that knowing he was having good dreams probably about John and Yoko." she mumbled lying in her bed hoping it would be okay.
Later that morning, Rocke began to stir stretching abd yawning, making his bed tucking John and Yoko in so they could rest forca bit looking at Piper's bed but hearing thefront door of the apartment open and Kimi was home seeing her grin that he was up. "Konnichiwa sweetie somebody had a good sleep. Where's Piper." she asked him. "I did have a good sleep thanks to John and Yoko. I think Pipey didn't sleep good so we should let her sleep some more like you." he said following her into the kitchen activating the kettle making Kini worried telling hin to sit at the table.
"I know you like beibg a helper but the kettle and stove are off-limits to lil paws like yours. I don't want you to get hurt. But I appreciate when you and Piper help me." she tokd hin making the male tenuki youngster smile at her words hearibg her yawning seeing she was tired after wirking all night knowibg she was doing it fir them and to pay the rent for their apartment or they'd be on the streets as she'd explained this to Rocke when he would get sad when she left for work but now he had Piper, he didn't get that upset which relieved her drinking coffee which helped her asshe lect out cereal for Piper and Rocke and juice telling Rocke she was going to bed for a bit which he understood nodding, giving her a goodnight hug making her smile.
"Thanks honey, I'll be up later." she said kissibg his furry head going ti her room slidibg open her bedroom door entering then slidibg it closed softly as he loved that sound pouring himsekf cereal addibg milk grabbing sone juice savibg some for Piper but hummibg softly to himsekf so after a bit, Piper sleepily entered making him happy saying Kimi was home and had left breakfast oht for them making the youbg female pircupine smile "That's good and happy you slept guessing John and Yoko helped along with Fuji." she told hin seeing hin nodding having something on his mind. "Rocke everything okay as you look worried." Piper told hin.
"I was wondering why you didn't sleep good last night. Did you have a bad dream because if you did, John and Yoko can help." he said majubg her fibd this sweet p. "I guess I'm still adjusting to livubv here." she told him. He understood how she was feeling as after Kimi had foubd him in that dumpster and brought him here, it'd taken hina while to get used to here but after a while, it felt like home. "That's true as my family still live in the zoo and I did until recently but I know they're okay." she told hin feeling him hug her not getting near her quills which was helping her feel better. "That's good it's helping you get sleepy as you look sleepy plus we noticed you've been sleepy all morning while we were playing." Rocke told her making her smile knowing he was being a good friend to her but she started yawning which Kimi thought sweet, reminding her of this morning when she'd gotten home from work.
"I think rest time is coming soon guys." Kimi said to them.
"Good as we could use it, after a fun morning." Ricke said to her.
After a bit, Kimi had woken up and made them soup as it was a rainy day in Tojyo so the soup was givibg more cosy vibes to Piper and Rocke but Rocke smiled hearing Piper yawning as the soup was relaxibg her meaning she might be able to sleep knowing for them, it would be nap time as they were lil, it helped them recharge after active mornings full of play seeing a sleepy Piper already going to their room. She climbed into her bed wrapping the blanket aroubd her being careful not to get her lil quills stuck but out like a light.
Kimi smiled sitting on Rocke's bed with the lil tenuki male on her lap, telling him a story which he was lovibf wishing Piper could share the storytime too yawning as Kiji nuzzled her nose against his lil snout making him happy and felt safe and calm being tucked in falling asleep beside John and Yoko snuggling them close to him making Kimi smile leaving theur room.
She was sitting on the couch reading a magazin enjoying the quiet as she knew her kids would be asleep for a while so she had time to read or make herself coffee without Rocke trying to help or almost burn himself relieving her returning to the living-room and the couch drinking coffee plus had snacks for her lil ones when they woke up. After a bit, both youngsters woke up feeling energized relieving Kimi and saw them enjoying the snacks
