"Hey, little lady this isn't a place for kids!" Yelled the man behind the counter.

"I know, I'm looking for this man have you seen him?" She asked showing him a picture on her digital camera that hung from her neck.

"I've seen him. What's it to ya?"

"He's my dad. The landlord has been banging on the door asking for rent. Do you where he is?"

"He's with Hana-chan, I'll give him your message. But you need to get out of here this is no place for a kid!" He spoke as he pointed to the elevator.

"But I really need him to come now!" She pleaded.

"I told ya I'd give him the message now scram! Draken come get this girl out of here!" He demanded.

A moment after he yelled a tall boy rounded the corner. The messy haired girl squinted looking back and forth at the them. Her face slowly turning red before finally exploding.

"What the hell old man! He's a kid too, what kind of place are you running!"

"It's not what you think. Now c'mon." The tall boy said grabbing her arm and dragging her to the elevator.

"I'll remember this old man!" She hollered before the man behind the counter was greeted by the flash of her camera.

The elevator door shut and the boy pushed the button for the ground floor. She yanked her arm from his grasp and proceeded to dust herself off. Draken looked down at her before sighing.

"Just who the hell are you and what are you doing here?" He asked her.

"I'm Tanaka Tomoki and I'm looking for Tanaka Yamato." Tomoki answered bluntly.

"Ah, I've heard that name before. How old are you anyway you can't be wandering around here by yourself."

"I'm six and a half! You're one to talk you're just a kid too!"

The elevators doors opened and Draken grabbed her arm again. He pulled her out of the building and started walking down the street. He came to a halt in front of a vending machine before releasing her.

"I'm eight that makes me your elder. Now what do you want?" He finally answered.

"I want my dad to come home." She answered quietly.

Tomoki looked at the ground her hair hanging in her face. She looked back up at the older boy tears forming in her eyes. Draken took a step back unsure of what to do now. He quickly got a drink from the vending machine and shoved it into her hands. The crying girl paused staring at the drink in her hands.

"Thank you." She whispered wiping tears from her face.

"Just quit crying!" He shouted avoiding her eye contact.

"Will you let my dad know I was looking for him?"

"I will. I will, just get out of here"

"Thank you, Onii-chan!" She smiled.

Draken waved her off with his hand causing the younger girl to smile before turning on her heel before running off. He watched her until he lost sight of her in the crowd. Little did he know Tomoki would appear more frequently in the future.

A few days later~

"Onii-chan!" Yelled a voice from behind him.

A mop of dark hair appeared behind him grabbing his shirt. Her camera pointing up at him as he turned, she quickly snapped a picture. Tomoki dropped her camera after allowing it to dangle from her neck.

"You again, what are you doing wondering around Shibuya? This isn't a place for a pipsqueak like you." Draken spoke.

"I live around here." She shrugged.

"How'd you end up living here?"

"Well, my mom said since my dad liked the girls here so much he should just live there. So we moved here after mom and Kaneki left." She answered letting go of his shirt. "Can I play with you today?"

"I'm busy." The blonde replied.

"Maybe next time?"

"Ya, maybe next time." He nodded before continuing on his way.

This continued for over a month before Draken gave into her. Tomoki was apparently a very stubborn girl and would take to asking him every other day. The day he finally gave in she ended up following him around for the day. She would take pictures of everything and anything as they went. As time went on this later became a routine for the two. Every other day she would shadow Draken as he went about his business. Asking him random questions and holding onto his shirt while she looked through her camera.

Two years later~

"Tomoki."

"Hmmm." She hummed while scrolling through her camera.

"Just what are you doing in my room?" Draken questioned.

"I'm not too sure. I was wondering around trying to get some good pictures. But I ended up here." The now eight year old shrugged.

"You know you aren't supposed to come here by yourself. We've talked about this." He said while standing up.

Draken's self proclaimed little sister quickly followed suit. Never looking up from her camera she grabbed his sleeve and followed him. They exited the building together and headed down the street out of Shibuya. After a while the ash haired girl looked up and realized where they were.

"Why are we at my house? She asked looking up at the run down apartment complex.

"I told you that I was hanging out with Mikey today." He answered lightly pushing her towards her building.

"But Aniki~" She pouted.

"No but's. I'll see you at school tomorrow and don't go wondering the streets by yourself." He said as he walked away.

Tomoki stood there until she could no longer see her brother's figure. Turning on her heel she bee lined it up the three flights of stairs and opened the door. She was greeted by an empty one room apartment with a kitchenette. Taking her shoes off she plopped down on her folded futon letting out a sigh.

It's been awhile since I last wrote anything. Let me know what you think!
