(Hong Kong, 2:43 p.m., 27 C, Sunny)
Two twin brothers were working in a restaurant and were taking crates outside in the alleyway. (If you've seen Yang's SF4's ending, it's basically that alleyway.)
The older twin, Yun, had his iconic cap on along with his traditional white outfit to help deal with the combined heat of inside the kitchen, restaurant, and the gradual rising heat of the summer days. The younger twin, Yang, with his long bangs, also had on his traditional red outfit for the same reason as his twin.
(Cantonese)
"Whew, busy day eh Yang?", Yun asked his twin, wiping away some sweat from his forehead.
"Yep. No complaints though, lets head back inside", Yang replied, motioning his brother to follow him back into the restaurant.
"Woah hey c'mon man. Let's take a 2 min break."
"And get yelled at by our uncles tonight?"
"Xiangfei can handle the orders on her own", Yun said hopping on top of some boxes to lie down on. "Let's call it gaining experience."
"I'm sure she has plenty already. It's not her first time working at a restaurant you know. So, at most we're just leaving her to hang by herself."
"Well, I'm still taking a 2-minute break."
"Alright."
Yang leaned against a wall, counting down to two minutes in his head. Eventually a white cat appeared and walked up to him. Yang smiled knowing it was the one of the cats that usually appeared in the alleyway when he would begin to clean the restaurant at closing time. He went down to scratch its chin and it began purring, patted it on the head and it then wandered off.
"Hey bro", Yun suddenly asked Yang, still lying down on his back. "Did you sense anything a while ago?"
"Hm?"
"Around noon. Remember the training we had with Uncle Lee? About sensing the power of a fighter? Well, I sensed a power that wasn't us or Xiangfei. Did you feel it too?"
"Yeah, I did."
"Well, why didn't you say anything?", Yun said in a more surprised voice.
"Relax Yun. It wasn't that big of a deal. From what I can remember it wasn't near the power of Chun-li. Or Mr. Masters and Mr. Garcia. I'd say they were slightly stronger or on par with us."
"Yeah, argh," Yun replied calming down a bit. "Man, I was really looking forward to fighting someone around our level. I don't know about you, but it can get tiring losing to Chun-Li whenever she visits."
"Hmph, I don't think it would look good for us fighting customers Yun", Yang said, smirking.
"Yeah, but who else is there besides you?"
"There's Xiangfei."
"Xiangfei always wants to fight when we're on break. Break time is me time."
"Are you just annoyed that you're currently on a losing streak of 3?"
"No, it's just I like having a break from work. Plus, I haven't even used all of my techniques against her."
"You think she used all her techniques yet? It's impressive of the amount she knows."
"Well can't complain there. Got to give her credit, she's never boring to fight."
"She doesn't seem to master none of them though. Quantity over quality. So at least we got that on her. Though at this rate the Twin Dragons might become the Triage of Dragons."
"First off, that's a lame name. Second, you really think so?"
"Sure. I think it's nice. She's like the little sister I never had to tell you the truth."
"Isn't that just Hoimei and Shaomei?"
"Er." Yang got a bit flustered, looking away from Yun for a bit. "No, they're different."
"How so?"
"Well, um." A sudden realization came to Yang. "Oh, crap how long have we been outside? It's been past 5 minutes at least. C'mon let's go."
"Can't argue with that," Yun said, getting off of the boxes he was laying on and followed Yang inside the restaurant. "I've got my break."
(Hong Kong, 4:09, 22 C, Clear Sky)
The Jin Bros. were wandering the streets of Hong Kong in search of the Twin Dragons. Chonshu lead the search being very enthusiastic about the whole situation. Chonrei simply followed him, being laxer compared to his younger brother though he was getting a bit bored of the search.
(Mandarin)
"Chonshu, we've been searching for 4 hours already. I don't think we're going to find these Twin Dragons anytime soon."
"No! We're close! I can sense them."
"Don't you think that it could be Hon-fu or Cheng?"
"They're on the other side of the city, I think."
"What if it's Fei Long? I heard he tends to appear around here."
Chonshu's eyes lit up. "Woah, Fei Long? I haven't even thought about that. What if he has a super-secret twin brother?"
"That would be interesting. Would you ask for an autograph?"
"Of course! Wouldn't you?"
"Never said I wouldn't."
"Here, this alleyway", Chonshu said, motioning his brother to follow him.
"This is the alleyway of that one restaurant we ate at for lunch Chonshu", Chonrei replied following his brother. "Why didn't you sense anything back then?"
"I could ask the same for you Chonrei. What's your excuse?"
"I was eating."
"Well then that's my excuse too then."
"You think Xiangfei knows anything about the Twin Dragons?"
"Maybe. We could ask her after she's off from work," Chonshu replied, poking one of the vases that lined the alleyway. "When does this place close?"
"11ish I think."
A teenage waiter with a cap walked out of the back of the restaurant carrying a crate. He was about to walk back inside when he noticed the Jin Bros in the alleyway.
(Cantonese)
"Hey you two! What are you doing back here?"
Chonrei was the first to reply. "Oh sorry, we were just-"
Chonshu suddenly interrupted Chonrei.
(Mandarin)
"We're looking for the Twin Dragons."
Yun gave him a puzzled look. "The Twin Dragons?"
Chonrei leaned into Chonshu's ear to whisper him something. "Couldn't bother speaking Cantonese Chonshu? It was a bit rude."
"Give me a break, I've been learning Korean." Chonshu whispered back to Chonrei.
(Cantonese)
"Yo Yang! Get out here!", Yun called out towards the restaurant back door. "We have some guests."
Another teenage waiter with long bangs walked out from the back door.
"Is this another excuse to stop working Yun?", Yang asked Yun. He turned his to see the Jin Bros. "Oh, you two?"
Chonrei and Chonshu were shocked that the energy they sensed came from the two waiters.
"The waiters?!", both brothers thought inside their heads.
(Mandarin)
"I remember you two", Yang said. "Sister and brother, right?"
"That's not…um," Chonshu stammered.
"Just brothers," Chonshu replied. "Don't worry, he gets that a lot.
"Maybe I should get a haircut," Chonshu thought to himself.
"Oh sorry, my apologies," Yang said.
"No. Like what my brother said, I get that alot."
"Well, what do you two want to know?", Yang asked the Jin Bros.
"We've been looking for the Twin Dragons and we wanted to ask Xiangfei if she knows," Chonrei replied.
"You two know Xiangfei?", asked Yun.
"We've met before."
"Anyways, do you two know the Twin Dragons", Chonshu interjected.
Yun smirked, covering his eyes with his cap. "Hmph, do we know?"
Chonshu was a bit puzzled. "Uh, well I did ask you if-"
"Feast your eyes on this!", Yun exclaimed.
(Just imagine Yun and Yang posing against a vibrant background like what some anime do)
"Quick as the wind"
"Strong as stone!"
"The Blue Dragon, Yang, at your service"
"And the White Dragon, Yun, here to crash the party!"
"Together we are…"
"The Twin Dragons!"
"And I'm here too!". Xiangfei said, popping up behind the twins.
The Jin Bros. blanky stared at the twins who were still in their pose.
"That sounded a lot better when we first came up with it," Yun slowly said out loud.
"Yeah…", Yang also slowly said.
"I thought it was cool," Xiangfei said to the twins with a sweet smile.
"Thanks for the support Xiangfei", said both twins at the same time.
Chonrei was the first to speak, "That was …"
Chonshu continued his brother's sentence, "…so…"
"Lame-"
"Cool!"
Yun and Yang were surprised by Chonshu's response. Chonrei slowly turned his head towards his little brother, shocked that he found that even remotely cool.
"You had all of this coordination just to introduce yourself. That's so cool!", Chonshu said, grasping his hands close to his face.
"Well, we have one satisfied fan besides Xiangfei, I'll take it", Yun said still in his pose.
"He didn't even say he was a fan", Yang thought to himself.
"So, you are the Twin Dragons then", Chonshu said.
"Yep!", Yun replied finally breaking out of his pose as did Yang. "What's up then?"
Chonshu stood straight and gave a sharp bow. "I would like to request a fight with you two!"
The twins looked at each and then at Chonshu.
"No need to be formal," Yun replied. "Uh, we don't get off of work till 11. But maybe Xiangfei can handle both our shifts…"
"Hey, wait a minute no!", Xiangfei suddenly interjected. "I don't want to work triple shifts."
"Well, you have a better idea?", Yun said.
"The weekend?", she suggested.
"Nope," Yang said. "We work on Saturday and Sunday we train with Uncle Lee."
"Maybe we can get Hoimei and Shaomei to cover our shifts", Yun said.
"Depends how long the fight lasts. What's your name?", Yang asked Chonshu.
"I'm Jin Chonshu!"
"Jin Chonrei", Chonrei replied, waving hello to the twins.
"Chonshu, when are you available for a match?", asked Yang.
"Whenever is most convenient for you," Chonshu said.
"Yo, you can stop bowing Chonshu", Yun said to Chonshu who was still in a bowing position.
"Oh, uh sorry."
"Anyways we can probably fight around 6 maybe. Xiangfei can deal with the customers," Yun said.
"That's a really busy time though", Xiangfei said.
"Well, that's the time I chose. Whatcha say Yang?"
"I'm fine with that," Yang said giving a shrug motion. "We'll get in trouble either way."
"Is there any way we could help?", Chonrei asked the 3 waiters.
"No need. I'll just make sure I get my shift covered by these two one day as compensation," Xiangfei said.
"Fair enough", Yun and Yang said at the same time.
"Alright 6 p.m. then. I'll be looking forward to fighting you two", Chonshu said giving a bow to the twins.
"Sorry for the hassle, we'll see you then", Chonrei added.
The Jin Bros walked out of the alleyway with Chonshu jumping up and down excited at the fact he'll finally fight someone outside of Kim's dojo.
"Not a problem. We'll see ya guys at 6!", Yun said, waving good-bye to the Jin Bros.
A/N: Second chapter done. Again, if anybody has any questions feel free to ask. :D
