"I'm not asking you to do a TItanic pose!" He rolled his eyes, "You're ridiculous!"
"I don't trust you... So I was just trying to be sure!" I said.
We were at his cousin's yacht party and he grabbed my hand and pulled us aside, away from everyone.
We have been going out for a few weeks now... And I have been noticing that he wasn't that annoying actually... He just loved to annoy me! And if I managed not to get annoyed with it, he was actually a funny guy!
"Angry... How come you're always angry?" He asked.
Well, I had my reasons to be angry right now!
My family business had struck a deal with Edward's company, and I knew this was going to bring so much success to my asshole brothers... And here I was... Just a failure! Life was so unfair!
"You can't be angry and upset all your life because of how they are..." He said, "If you can't make peace with yourself, you should fight instead of sulking all the time!"
Yeah... I needed to fight, and that's what I was going to do! But I might need your help with that! I wanted to say.
"You should stop looking negatively at everything and everyone! There is so much beauty in this world... Just look at this ocean... Look at the sky... Look at all those colors... Look at those birds! Everything is... just beautiful!" He said.
"I'm glad you didn't choose therapy as your profession! You'd have been horrible!" I said.
"Just imagine... You're all by yourself with this nature..." He ignored me and continued.
"I can't imagine that I'm all by myself, because you're constantly talking..." I said.
"Okay, then imagine it's just you and me... All alone here... Nothing else matters! Nothing! "
He talked for a few more seconds, but then he stopped. And I didn't know what exactly happened there... But I actually kept staring at the ocean... And I focused on the sound of the wind... Sound of birds... Indeed, everything felt beautiful at the moment.
Maybe it was just a few minutes, but yes, I did forget about my worry in those few minutes.
I looked at him, and he was still staring at the ocean...
He wasn't laughing, or smiling or fooling around... He just looked... calm and at peace with himself.
I had never actually seen him like this before...
I wasn't sure what got into myself at that moment, but I put my hand around his neck, and I... kissed him!
And to my surprise, he kissed me back...
When we broke the kiss, and I looked at him... I didn't recognize that person!
His eyes were on fire...
And there was some sort of sincerity that I couldn't understand...
Nobody had ever looked at me like this...
I didn't even know what to make of it...
But I didn't get a chance to think further as he pulled me closer and kissed me again...
