"Bubba everything okay, you've been really quiet since we got home." Rocket asked the teenaged female-kit seeing her shrug while her sibs were eating dinner. Earlier at school, the Pantheon of Heroes ceremony had taken place which honoured heroes past and present even her dad had gotten an award but Aubt Casey hadn't shown up so Kiwi had to accept it for her mom which had made other kids make more fun of her but because her dad was getting ready for a mission, she kept it to herself, and had a plan.
"I'm good guys, nothing to worry about." she told them excusing herself making Nebula and Rocket exchange a lokj thinking she was hiding something from them but Bubba was planning to keep Kiwi company knowibg she was lonely plus that ceremony had added to it and getting in trouble with her folks would be worth it sneaking oht taking her backpack with her which had what she needed heading o the dorm building sneaking into Kiwi's dorm hearing sniffles and sounds of eating. "Kiwi, everything okay, eating your feels huh." she whispered surprising Kiwi removibg the blanket she'd been hiding under, her fur light blue showing her sadness.
"You could say that, Bub but what're you doing here. Your folks will flip, if they find out." she replied.
"It's worth it, you seemed lonely, so wanted to keep you company, like a sleepover but how did you get all this food, rob the common room." Bubba said makibg Kiwi grin a little. "Jubilee, she bakes a lot and made way too many treats for the ceremony and better than her throwing them in the trash, thanks for coming over and it could be a sleepiver." she replied to her starting to feel better putting on music on her phone making Bubba grin.
Meanwhile at Nebula and Rocket's house, Rocket was finishing storytime for Elroy, Herbie, Luna and Sputnik as tomorrow was a school day and they needed their rest only while Nebula was tuckibg them in, Rocket was checking on Bubba realisibg she was gone activating the tracker in her necklace he and Rocke had given her. "Xavier's, of doyrse Kiwi as she was upset after that award ceremony. I should go check." he numbled leaving the house teleporting into Kiwi's room.
"Bubba Nirohita Raccoon, why didn'tyou tell us, you wanted to hang oht with Kiwi and cheer her up, we would've been okay, Kiwi you okay honey." he said. "My tummy hurts and hot from the treats abs have been feelibg weird all day." she said makibg Rocket stunned. "Everybody hold paws." he ordered as he teleported them to his and Nebula's house stunning Nebula that Bubba had snuck out. "We've a bigger thing involving Kiwi." Rocket said to her making Nebula get it softening.
