Makoto Naegi: Escaping the Prison Prologue
In the same desert not too far from Scrooge's Money Bin was a police station which is also a prison for some of the criminals caught by the police here.
In one of these cells was Makoto Naegi, who was captured a few days ago, luckily, they didn't take the watch that contained Nicole. Makoto himself was wondering where Hiro was but then again, he probably legged it the moment the cops were arriving at the vault.
"Don't worry Makoto I am sure something will come along" Nicole said
"I hope so too, but remind me why can't you replicate anything for me to use" Makoto asked
"My battery is running low, and the charger is in your hope, the best I can do is scan for useful items and rewind time." Nicole said
"Great" Makoto said and sits in his cell
"Oi you!" A voice on the other side said, Makoto looks to see a police officer known only as Scout who was with the force for 8 years.
With him was Detective Gumshoe a recent transfer here who is eager to do a good job.
"You're free to go" Scout said, this made Makoto smiled hopeful before Scout laughs and added "Not really"
"Ohh...not funny" Makoto said annoyed as Scout opens up the slot used to hand Prisoners their things
"He really likes taking jabs at you and the other prisoners" Nicole said
"But you got a package" Scout said as he shoves the package into the cell and it falls on the floor, it was a brown box marked fragile.
Makoto wondered who sent him a package, Hiro was one, but he was worried it was be something bad.
"Don't get your hopes up, we've already checks it for anything useful, haven't we Gumshoe?" Scout said looking to the detective.
"Wha?" Gumshoe asked confused but upon realising said nervously "Yeah, yeah!" He laughs nervously "Of course, I checked it! I mean, if I didn't check it, I'd lose my job and I don't want to lose my job!" He laughs nervous again
"See ya round" Scout said closing the hatch and walks off with Gumshoe laughing "Free to go, I thought that was pretty good, did you?"
As they left Makoto opens the box and finds a cake inside "Huh, I guess it be something better then what they been serving me"
"Wait, something about this cake" Nicole said and as the watch beeped so did the cake and a secret hatch opens up
"Huh, a cake with hidden items inside" Makoto said looking inside to see a bunch of items in
"Yeah" Nicole said scanning them and giving a list of the items A file, an NRG drink, The Teleporter, A rocket launcher, a cell phone and a drill
"Well let's see what to go with first" Makoto said and reaches into it
