Yoruichi and Sasuke rendezvoused with Sai near Danzo's lair, where most of the Anbu were located. The three of them stopped behind a bush to discuss the plan for rescuing Soifon.
Yoruichi instructed Sai, 'You will go in and attempt to lure Danzo out, while Sasuke and I engage in combat to prevent him from returning inside. Your task will be to retrieve Soifon.'
Sai nodded, meeting Yoruichi's intense gaze. 'That is the primary plan,' he acknowledged, glancing towards the building before returning his gaze.
'And if it fails, what is our next move?' he asked, witnessing the determination in both Sasuke and Yoruichi's eyes. 'We must ensure its success, but as a backup, hopefully Naruto and Akira will return with back up,' Yoruichi explained.
'Proceed now, and be careful,' she concluded, prompting Sai to comply. 'Plan C is not an option; we shall not leave without the captain,' Yoruichi declared, concealing any hint of unease in the event of failure. However, deep down, she knew she could not live with herself if they failed to rescue Soifon.
Yoruichi observed as Sai disappeared from sight and entered the building. 'Are you certain we can place our trust in him?' Sasuke asked, glancing at Yoruichi. 'Considering he Is affiliated with Danso's goons,' he added.
Yoruichi, maintaining her composure, gazed at Sasuke and replied, 'If he were allied with Danso, I doubt he would aid us. Perhaps the same scrutiny should apply to you?' she suggested.
Sasuke acknowledged this by saying, 'Valid point,' before shifting his attention back to the building. Acknowledging Yoruichi's perspective, he decided to revisit this issue later, focusing now on rescuing Soifon.
( Soifon)
Upon feeling her arms and legs being securely fastened to the table, Soifon emitted a groan of discomfort.
Despite her efforts to turn her head and locate Danso, she was unable to catch sight of him, only able to hear his presence as he moved around the room.
As thoughts of the enigmatic figure from her dream crossed her mind, the Raven-haired captain's brow furrowed with contemplation.
'Could this be what he was referring to? Or does it involve something else?' she pondered, straining to catch snippets of Danso's words.
Approaching her, Danso remarked, 'This procedure will reveal all that I seek to know, causing minimal discomfort,' he assured her.
'Rest assured, its effects will be temporary, lasting no longer than a few hours.' Observing Soifon's intense gaze upon him, Danso interjected before she could speak, 'Do not regard me with such hostility, my child.'
"Watching as Danso held a few needles filled with a substance, Danso remarked, "This will either loosen your tongue or send you back. Either way, the truth will come out."
Danso continued speaking, expressing his desire to test the strength of Soifon compared to her brothers. Soifon, becoming increasingly annoyed, attempted to free her hands from the tightly tied straps.
Soifon snapped, 'I've already told you, I know nothing,' as she struggled against her bonds. Danso warned her, 'Y"u may keep twisting your hands, captain, but all you're doing is harming yourself.'
Observing blood starting to trickle from the captain's wrists, Soifon glared at him and realized her lack of ability to fight back, even though her spiritual energy was slowly returning, albeit feeling different from normal.
Addressing Danso as 'Lord Danso,' Soifon turned her head to see Sai approaching them. Confused by his presence, the female captain asked, 'Sai?'
Dan'so observed Sai with a look of curiosity. 'What is it that you require, my boy?' He asked, placing the needles on the tray. 'I have come to inform you that you are needed outside immediately,' Sai disclosed, stealing a glance at Soifon and covertly indicating his intention to assist her so as not to arouse Danso's suspicion.
'By whom?' Danso questioned with interest. 'I am not certain, but they insist on speaking with you urgently,' Sai replied, gazing at Danso.
Soifon strained to hear their conversation, although the words seemed blurred for some reason, catching only what Danso had said, 'It seems everyone requires me when I am occupied.' With a grumble, he continued, 'Very well, stand guard here and keep an eye on the captain until I return.
With a nod, Sai agreed, saying, 'I will stay here, Lord Danso.' She watched as Danso exited the medical wing and made his way outside, then swiftly approached Soifon to release her from the restraints on her arms and legs.
"Sai? What is going on?" Soifon asked, observing as Sai watching him freeing her arms and legs. "I am present to aid you in escaping, of course," Sai replied while assisting her up from the table.
The captain stood unsteadily as Saizo helped her off the table. "But how did you found out where I was?" Soifon questioned with a narrowed gaze.
"Does it matter at this moment? Sasuke and Yoruichi will only be able to withstand Danso for a limited period on their own, so expedience is required," Sai responded, prompting the woman to nod in agreement.
"Are you saying that Yoruichi and Sasuke are present here as well?" Soifon asked, perplexed. However, she chose not to delve deeper into her inquiries, instead giving a nod when Sai did. "Let us proceed," Sai declared.
Soifon nodded and followed his lead, pausing briefly upon hearing the voice of the man from her dream.
"Be careful, little one, and do not place your trust in anyone." Soifon shook her head in an attempt to clear her thoughts. "Stop appearing before me if you do not intend to disclose your intentions or identity," she pondered.
Sai guided Soifon out of the medical wing and into the open air. "Do you have the strength to fight if the situation demands it?" He inquired, observing the petite captain who appeared somewhat unsteady on her feet.
"Once I will regain most of my spiritual energy soon, and my combat abilities will be enhanced once I have Suzumebachi," Soifon stated, trailing behind Sai with her focused gray eyes fixed ahead.
