Makoto Naegi: Stealing the Sapphire Prologue
It had been a month since Makoto had gotten out of prison, how did he in this timeline it was unclear for some reason Nicole could see Makoto still had the Police car but there was news of Leon's arrest as well so she was now unsure which timeline she was looking at
But she had gotten an upgrade and now had a more life sized body but the kicker of the month was when Makoto's girlfriend Kirigiri found out about what Makoto did, she was angry with him but that anger was turned on Hiro when it turned out he forced Makoto to be a thief.
Needless to say Makoto now lives with Kirigiri as she kicked Hiro out but after the upgrades to and paying the rent, Makoto was penniless again and mostly living off Kirigiri which he didn't want to, he tried to get a job but either due to his bad luck or lack of skills one didn't stick.
Kirigiri noticed this and promised to help him out as she worked on a case that was a big one.
One day Kirigiri left him a note, turn to the news channel tonight, then check the garage.
"What do you think Kirigiri is up to?" Makoto asked Nicole
"I don't know, let's check it" Nicole suggested
Makoto turns on the TV to the news. On screen was a press conference at the local museum with the mayor Robert Terwilliger or as people call him by his former stage name on the Krusty the Clown show Sideshow Bob.
Makoto knows he didn't vote for him but he was a clear winner of the vote as an underdog and he was popular with the citizens of the town because of his love for the arts, so make sense he would be hosting a new exhibit opening at the Museum
"As the mayor and love of all things arts or even things that increases the mind, I am proud to declare that the Kyogre Areological Exhibit….open!" he then goes into a laugh that goes slightly maniacal
Makoto looks at some of the items there but what catches his eye was the large gemstone which was right next to Bob. "Wow looking at the size of the Sapphire"
"That's no ordinary Sapphire, it's the Kyogre Sapphire." Nicole said "It' is one of three largest gemstones that have natural formed depictions of the Three Hoenn Legendary Pokemon on them, this one of the Water Legendary Kyogre."
"Wow, that would be solve my money troubles, but no...I shouldn't continue being a thief I promised Kyoko" Makoto said and sees Nicole opening the door to the garage
"Makoto, look at this" Nicole said
Makoto looks and sees a brand new electric scooter with a note. Makoto reads it 'Makoto, I know you promised me not to steal again, but I need you to steal the Kyogre Sapphire from the museum. I can't say fully wise but if that gem isn't gone by the morning the L.O.D will get there hands on it. So take this Scooter, outfitted by Souda to be interfaced by Nicole with gadgets and get that Sapphire. Kyoko 3'
"Wow, she wants you to steal it" Nicole said surprised "What is L.O.D?"
"I...I am not sure maybe it's related to this big case she is working on" Makoto said and thinks on it, and smiles "Well who am I to deny what Kirigiri asks of me" He grabs the keys to the scooter and Nicole's watch "Ready Nicole?"
Nicole nods and interfaces herself into the scooter and watch "Let's go!"
An hour later Makoto had stopped on a hill overlooking the Museum at this time the only ones in the Museum would be some Night guards. He thinks how to best approch this. Nicole saying the could Burst in with the Scooter at full speed or Sneak in with two different approaches.
The mission begins to steal the Kyogre Sapphire how will Makoto? Find out soon.
