The Makoto Naegi Collection Interludes
Interlude 1: The Republic Military
In an unknown military base Kyoko Kirigiri was in a dark interrogation room, with her job as a detective she is used to this room this was unique, this time she was on the other side of the interrogation.
The door opens and in enters several figures in white armor with orange highlights. The last was the tallest who removes his helmet revealing a man with short crewcut black hair and a heavily scared face on the left side (facing him). It was clear to Kyoko he was the one in charge and the reason for her capture
"I take it you are aware who I am?" He asked her
"Captain Jace Malcom, member of the Republic Milatary and leader of Special Forces Havoc Squad." Kirigiri said with a nod
"Good, cause we know you Ultimate Detective Kyoko Kirigiri. We also aware we both have been looking into L.O.D which has been interfearing with our owwn operations" Jace told her. "Now you are going to tell us, where he is?"
"Where who is?" Kirigiri said already knowing who he meant
Jace activates a holopad and Makoto's image appears "Your boyfriend Makoto Naegi, we know you were the one who hired him to steal the Kyogre Sapphire from the museum, now where is he?"
Kirigiri looked at it, it had been a month since the robbery and Makoto was enjoying being the protector of the gemstone for her. She looks to him "Why do you want to know?" she asked
Jace smiles "He proved useful in solving problems despite overwhelming situations, I want to use him"
"and I assume I am the bargenning chip to get him to comply" Kirigiri asked
"Exactly cause that would mean you will bwe stuck here till he gets the job done?" Jace said with a smile
"Well I will say is Makoto may do this but you need more then me, because I am sure he will still suffer reprecusions for all the crimes he's been made to do." Kirigiri said to him sternly, "Also I am not going to betray his trust by revealing his exact location to you"
"I thought you wouldn't which is why a team is already set to pick him up" Jace told him "I just wanted to know how deep your trust is" He turns to leave "But you have my word, once he does our job you and him are free to go"
"He'll get the job done, but also Makoto may end up betraying you, especially if it means getting to rescue me or somthing else more important catches his eye" Kirigiri said as Jace leaves the room, she then silently wishes Makoto to be okay.
Jace said to his soldiers "Keep an eye on her ensure she has no chance of escape, I am off to greet our new recruit after I draft some paperwork, today is the day we strike back at L.O.D, the Legion of Doom
Here we go, next time Makoto gets recruited to help the Republic Military and confronts the Legion of Doom
