It was serene and beautiful… For Kaito, the music he is hearing right now was something he couldn't even comprehend; no, even everyone on earth wouldn't be able to describe how beautiful and amazing the music he is hearing right now.

"Wait a minute… What is this music?" Kaito was confused, he knows that right now he is laying on his bed at Haru's mansion but he feels that something was odd in the room.

He opened up his eyes and looked at his surroundings, he saw that he was not in his bedroom; well to be precise he was nowhere in his bedroom, after all he was not somewhere ordinary. "Is this another world..?"

The different world he was looking at right now was a world that could only be found in a children's fantasy book or a fictional romance story between a human and a different species. All together, whatever this fantasy world he is in right now is not a fantasy world he wants to be associated with. "What kind of flowers are these anyway?"

All around him were pink flowers that are not normally seen in his world, these flowers were everywhere. There was nothing on this world beside these pink flowers; there were no trees, no water, nor any different type of flowers. All there was, was him and a man with long white hair and was holding a wooden staff.

"You… Are you Ruler?" Kaito asked the unknown man, he was in utter disbelief to see the man sitting in front of him. Kenjie and Haru already had a guess on who the true identity of Ruler is,

but it's still just a theory they came up with.

"That's correct." Ruler replied. "You must be Kaito Hoshikawa, I must say you look different from the hologram I have of you… Then you must've trained your body properly, well done then."

Ruler looked at Kaito with a mischievous smile, he grabbed Kaito's hand and looked at the command spell on his hand. "Ohh, what an intriguing design, it fits you well Kaito."

"Fits..?" Kaito was still wary of Ruler, especially after hearing the nature of Ruler from Haru. *Thanks, I guess…"

"Enough chit chat, I know that you're in a hurry and so am I since I'm gonna meet the other Masters after you…" Ruler stood up and with a tap on the ground with his staff the flower around them disappeared, below them were hard-solid and flat bedrock with 7 magic circles.

Kaito looked at the magic circles and saw that there were no ordinary magic circles. The magic circles that are drawn on the ground do not contain any magic, but instead they have illustrations of each of the 7 continents.

"Okay first up, I wanna test your knowledge of each of the seven continents, for research purposes." Ruler said with a smile.

Kaito could only look at Ruler with suspicion, but he decides not to pry onto what he is thinking. "Okay…"

"Can you tell me who the Masters of each continent are and your opinion of them?"

"To start off, I'm gonna remove Antarctica to the question because of common sense, and among the other 6 we've only managed to figure out the names of the Masters in Europe and North America.."

"Hmmm… I see…"

"The Master of North America is named Jake Tobias. Born in Texas, USA; we know that he is a war orphan of a small church in Texas. When it comes to the other Masters, we believe he is one of the dangerous ones…"

Kaito clenched his fist in anger after he was reminded of the constant attack of North America to Asia, in his eyes he could only view Jake as a heartless monster. "When it comes to military knowledge he is on top, his strategies and plans can't be compared to the great generals in history, his prowess is just that good."

"I understand… What about the Master of Europe?"

"The Master of Europe is named Colette De La Fontaine, she is young which is quite shocking when we first discovered it. Among the Masters, we believe she is the toughest to beat. Not only because of Europe's rich history but because of her talent as a mage and her intelligence is comparable to great scientists too."

Colette De La Fontaine… Though she hasn't made a move on Asia unlike Jake, it is still a fact that she is still an enemy–Master. Not only that, but the fact that every leader in Asia agreed that she is the most dangerous is very uncomfortable to me… Just looking at her, she appears to be the same age as Hina, which is why I don't want to fight her…

"I see… so it's the same…" Ruler mumbled to himself.

"Did you say something?"

"Nope, just talking to myself." Ruler coughed and tapped the ground again with his staff, then seven magic circles shone brightly. "Now let us start the Holy Grail War, I hope you remember what I'm gonna tell you."

Kaito took his phone out of his pockets and opened his notes, he proceeded to look at Ruler to signal that he was ready.

"As you have heard, this Holy Grail War is far different from any Holy Grail War in history. Which is why the world asked me–Ruler to make 10 rules to make the Holy Grail War stable and fair for the Masters, just think of it as the new 10 commandments." Ruler said jokingly. "I will show you a display of these 10 rules, to make it easy for you to see it all."

A light pink display screen appeared in front of Kaito, he was surprised that his mouth was wide open, he then clicked on the camera of his phone to take a picture of the display.

Written on the display are:

Rule 1: Each of the Masters are gonna summon 7 servants of each of the 7 classes; Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, Berserker.

Rule 2: The only servants that each of the continents can summon are figures found only in their continent's history.

Rule 3: To make it fair for other Masters, each continent will have a servant with divinity: the amount of divine spirits will increase depending on the continent's history.

Rule 4: Master's are given aid by the world to ensure that their servants are able to materialize.

Rule 5: Only servants that are allowed to be summoned are from the 7 original classes.

Rule 6:Masters are given 3 command spells in the Holy Grail War

Rule 7: Masters only have those 3 command spells; the 7 servants they have will share those 3 command spells

Rule 8: If a Master forcefully made another servant their own, said Master will be punished

Rule 9: Masters are allowed to ask other people for help, and can share their command spell to other people in their continent,

Kaito was astonished at the rule that Ruler made, he was concerned at some of the rules but decided not to express his concern toward Ruler and remained quiet as Ruler looked at him with a bright smile.

"The rules are amazing right? As expected from an amazing guy like me." Ruler posed proudly with a smug smile, he looked at Kaito with eyes of expectation.

"Yeah… It's amazing isn't it?" Kaito responded in a dead-pan voice.

I expected Ruler to be someone scary and serious or someone wise, yet looking at the Ruler in front of me… I see the opposite of my expectations, he is very playful and somewhat immature… Completely uncharacteristic of a known legendary figure that is supposed to be the same man standing in front of me…

He has been a fan of the stories of this man's venture and knowledge ever since he was still young, he was not the perfect hero but his exploits and doings to help a certain "figure" is what made Kaito a fan. Now in front of him is that same man he was a fan of, yet he was disappointed to see that he was not the same man he had hoped for.

"Now that I've seen the rules… Can I go now..?" Kaito was down after his childhood was shattered, he wanted to sit in a corner and set aside the Ruler he met today to relieve his childhood of Ruler being the cool and wise man he imagined at first.

"Oh right! I still have to meet the other Masters." Ruler was shocked that he almost forgot his schedule, he let out a tear which made Kaito's childhood crack more. "Umm.,. It was nice knowing you, unfortunately I'm busy, so goodbye for now, Hoshikawa Kaito."

Kaito turned into many pink flowers and was blown out by the wind, he disappeared in front of Ruler who was still panicking about messing up the schedule he made.

"Kaito Hoshikawa huh, there's something odd about him…"

Ruler looked behind him and saw a masked figure sitting on the ground, the figure was wearing a white robe and the mask that the figure was wearing is somewhat advanced for today's timeframe. Ruler wasn't surprised at the sudden appearance of the mysterious figure, more of he was happy to see the figure come.

"Looks like you've finally arrived, what do you think of the Masters so far?" Ruler asked as he sat beside the figure with a proud face.

"Europe is bright but she is but a child; North America has too much pride and is too chivalrous; Africa is friendly and kind; South America is too self-centered and only focuses on what he wants; Australia is not serious about the war and only wants to have fun, and I can see from Asia that he hasn't let go of the past and he has a lot of insecurities of being a Master…"

Ruler smiled smugly and looked at the figure with a face filled with malicious pride and greed. "I told you, didn't I? These Masters are not gonna be a threat to our plan."

"We still don't know about the future, so observe them a little more and give me any information you have about them. Yes, even if that information is little or useless."

'Well, of course!" Ruler replied and bowed in joy, his eyes were spiraling out of control and his smile was not that of a hero but more of a villain hungry for power. "Like I told you, I will make you win this war no matter what, isn't that right? Master of Antarctica."
