Well here is the next chapter or one half of it Let's see what happens?

Makoto Naegi: Infiltrating the Airship Chapter 4A

Route: Rapidly Promoted Executive

When we last left Makoto he was deciding which weapon to use to fight Deathstroke between a sword called Dirk or a Yo-yo. Now time for the fight

Makoto puts Dirk away and pulls out the Yoyo "Let's do this!" Makoto said determined.

"Very well, let the fight commence!" Deathstroke said.

Suddenly the whole world became like a fight battle style like you would find in an Earthbound game.

'Deathstroke attacked' The text box said.

Makoto was ready and looked at his options he had Bash, Psi, Goods and Defend. Autofight and Runaway were unavailable.

"You only got one shot Makoto, choose wisely" Nicole told him.

Bash

Makoto chose to do a stranded attack with his main weapon

The text boxes read 'Makoto attacked. 110 damage to Deathstroke.'

Sadly, this wasn't enough and Deathstroke said "Call that an attack" He begins his attack

'Deathstroke unleashed a massive shockwave, Deals 510 mortal damage to Makoto.' The text box reads.

That was over Makoto's HP and it is reduced to zero. The text box said 'Makoto got hurt and collapses. Makoto has lost the battle...'

"Too easy" Deathstroke said.

Nicole shakes her head "What did you expect hitting him with a yoyo would do?" she resets.

Psi

Makto decided to use his psychic powers. "Here goes!" He calls out ready.

'Makoto uses Psi FlashB, Deathstroke could not stop crying' The text box said.

"You goddamn annoyance!" Deathstroke said drawing his machine gun.

'Deathstroke fires bursts from machine gun' The text box said as Makoto is hit '498 mortal damage done to Makoto.' with that Makoto falls over dead.

'Makoto got hurt and collapses. Makoto has lost the battle...' The text box said.

"Goddman it the brat" Deathstroke said rubbing his eye.

Nicole looks at Makoto "I'd be crying too if you flashed me" she then resets.

Defend

Makoto opted to go with defence to come up with something "Why do I feel this is bad?"

'Makoto is on guard'

Deathstroke smirked "That won't help you" he then begins to attack

'Deathstroke unleashed a flurry of blows' the text box said and did a lot of attacks that reduce Makoto to zero, killing him.

'Makoto got hurt and collapses. Makoto has lost the battle...' The text box said.

"Weakling" Deathstroke said

Nicole sighs and said "'The best offence is a good defence'- Somebody unsuccessful" she resets.

Goods

Makoto checks his items and finds a multi-bottled rocket "This will do, alright Slade take this!" he unleashes it.

'Makoto unleashed a multi-bottled rocket' The text box said 'Deathstroke took 2438 damage'

"Nooooooo!" Deathstroke as he cries out in pain and fades away.

'You won the battle!' The text box said as victory trombone is heard 'Makoto earned 2344 exp'

We come out the battle as Deathstroke badly hurt falls off the platform and down to the lower points of the airship.

"And that's that" Makoto said smiling as he wipes his sleeves

"All good, the main obstacle is out of the way but Lex is still getting away" Nicole said

"Cupcake!" The cupcake said

"Got it!" Makoto said and runs after the leader. He soon comes across a gat at the end and sees a doorway lower down but over a wide gap "How did he make this jump?"

"No idea but I three things that could help" Nicole said showing a glider, Jet boots and some Beef up pills.

"Hmmmmm" Makoto thinks on it

Beef up

Makoto looks at the bottle of pills "Hmmmm instant leg muscles but how much do I take for fast acting?"

"Hmmmm just down the whole bottle?" Nicole said shrugging.

"Alright" Makoto said and gulps down the whole plastic bottle of pills.

Soon his legs shake and expand to muscle man like legs ripping the pants legs of his pants Makoto looked amazed

"See nothing to it now..." Nicole said.

Also of a sudden Makoto's legs shake again, then explode, sending Makoto's upper body to the lower platform, he hits his head on it and falls down to his doom

Nicole sees the plastic bottle and finds the slogan and reads "Beefup! See results in up to 8 seconds!"

"Cupcake!" the cupcake said

"Yeah, this one is on me" Nicole said and resets

Jetboots

Makoto admires the boots that were oddly heavy "I think these are made of metal."

"You sure you want to use them?" Nicole asked concerned.

"Better than nothing, hopefully the jets are powerful enough" Makoto said.

He activates them and slowly moves forward. Until he gets off the platform he was on, he is then falling down screaming and crashes into the stuff below.

Nicole flinches a bit and says "Jetboots production notes: Find lighter material to construct boots out of" she then resets.

Glider

"Nice and simple" Makoto aid holding onto it smiling.

"Stick the landing Makoto" Nicole cheers with pom poms

Makoto takes a deep breath. He then moves and jumps and genlty glides down and sticks the landing on the lower platform. Nicole smiles and claps for Makoto who smile and bows.

"Good now let's get Luthor." Makoto said and enters the room.

The room ended up being the Cargo bay. Lex was running through while the guards in there stood by. Lex said "Don't just stand there! Help me you fools!"

Makoto enters and jump tackles Lex gripping him and pulls him to the cargo bay doors.

"I got a shot!" A villain known as Two face said taking aim

"No!" a female villain known as Lady Shiva said "You may hit Luthor!" she was right Makoto had position himself right behind Lex as he dragged him back so not to be hurt

"So, there is nothing we can do?" Scorpion said shocked.

"I hate those!" Rito said as he stood in attack ready position.

Two-face flips a coin and seeing the result said "Fine, I will wait for an opening."

"Okay Makoto get the cargo bay door open, and we will be home free" Nicole said.

"Got it" Makoto said and hits the open for the cargo bay.

Lex said "Wait, hold on! Listen! You defeated my Right-Hand Enforcer and the world's most dangerous mercenary Deathstroke and you also defeated me. I am ashamed to admit it, but you clearly are superior to me."

"What are you saying?" Nicole asked confused.

"I am saying is this...if you let me go, I will surrender the airship and the title of leader of the Legion of Doom to you." Lex said albeit reluctantly.

"Wait…really? Me in charge of a whole organization of supervillains?" Makoto said shocked.

"Yes, they will follow my command when I say you are our leader" Lex said nodding.

As Makoto was thinking on this, the Republic Airship came into view and seeing them Jace said on the comm "Great work Makoto, now get out of there safely and bring Lex to us and we will give you and Kirigiri your lives back full pardon for you included."

"Well Makoto...I will go where you go?" Nicole said.

"Wait really? You not trying to push me to stick with the original job?" Makoto said shocked.

"I trust your judgement. But you should know you stick with the mission you paint a target on your back with the Legion of Doom but join them and we will become an enemy of the Republic." Nicole explained.

Makoto nods and thinks carefully and soon he made his choice…

Makoto pushes Lex away surprising the evil billionaire the other villains were about to fire but Lex stops them holding his arm out and said, "I guess you accept my surrender of my title and ship to you?"

"Yes, but on 2..." Makoto said only Nicole to cut him off saying.

"3 conditions" Nicole said proudly.

"And they are?" Scorpion asked.

"1) The Republic captured my girlfriend, one of the conditions of capturing you was freeing her. I want you to help me free her" Makoto states.

"Hmmmm there is a Republic base in the area if she isn't there we can find out where" Lex said thinking.

"2) We no longer try to conquer the world, we just become world class thieves, understand?" Makoto said.

Two face flips a coin and said seeing it "I agree with this one."

"We don't have a choice either way what our new leader says goes if Lex is sincere" Shiva said looking at Lex.

"Unfortunately, I am" Lex said nodding "and the third thing?"

"We want the hat" Nicole said pointing to the hat Lex was wearing.

"I guess you can have it" Lex said sighing.

"Good then I accept the role as leader of the Legion of Doom." Makoto said nodding.

"That's good but...we still need to shake the tail" Scorpion said looking at the Republic airship

"Hmmmm how to through" Makoto said

"Found some things!" Nicole said scanning the whole room. In this path she found Dummies or a Missile launcher.

Missile

Makoto holds out the Missile launcher and said "Sorry Jace and Kirishima but I think this is the best way to keep them in check. Scout, I don't think you care what I do but just add this to the list of reasons to hate me."

He fires the missile Kirishima sees it and avoids it. "Uh oh" Nicole said shocked.

Jace not seeing her fired said "They're firing on us! Now we can take down! Fire!"

The airship fires at the Airship propellers and do enough damage to send the airship down falling.

"On second thought that might not have been such a good idea..." Nicole said and resets.

Dummies

Makoto and Lex got two dummies to look like them and place them on the edge.

"Are you sure this will work?" Lex asked concerned.

"Positive" Makoto said "Now kick them down."

The two kick the dummies off the ship down to the dessert below.

Kirshima seeing this, flies the airship down and lands it. Jace and Kirishima disembark and walk to where 'Makoto and Lex' landed.

Kirishima concerned for Makoto said "You think they're, okay? That was a pretty big fall they took?"

"I am sure Makoto had a plan" Jace said confident when they came to the impact site, they saw the dummies "What is…?"

"Look like dummies, but that would mean..." Kirishima said shocked and the two looked at the airship far away.

Jace angered yells out "Makoto!"

"I told you not to trust him" Scout said shaking his head.

"Now hold on, I am sure he did it for a good reason" Kirishima said positive Makoto didn't fully turn evil.

"It doesn't matter, Makoto Naegi is now an enemy of the Republic having joined the Legion of Doom, so we hunt him down" Jace said heading back to the airship.

Back on the Legion of Doom's airship Makoto sits on the captain's chair as Lex crowns him with the hat. He was going to enjoy it.

And sure enough things went well, like they promised the first thing they did was get Kirigiri free from capture and when Makoto and Nicole told her why they were working with the L.O.D she was alright and stayed on just to make sure no one tries to do anything behind Makoto's back.

But it seemed many of the members liked Makoto's leadership and guidance as he gave them a feeling of hope and encouragement as opposed to Lex using them to fill his ego.

Some members like Black Manta and The Monarch actually voice their approval for Makoto even if he wasn't a true supervillain. They did many accomplishment heists and activities.

Makoto and Nicole relax on the bridge as Lex and Kirigiri enters "Excuse me Makoto, I need to speak with you."

"Sure Lex, what's up?" Makoto asked.

"Well for one Deathstroke is recovering well with some...improvements but also there is something the boys tasked with developing new weapons and items for the Legion led by Braig have come to an idea." Lex said.

"What?" Nicole asked

"They call it the Legion of Doom's answer to the Justice League watch tower" Kirigiri said and shows them "A satellite space station to keep the Republic off their backs."

"All it needs if your approval" Lex said with a nod

The image shows a space station resembling the Hall of Doom only bigger and shaped like a tradition space station.

"Hmmmm...I guess this will work" Makoto said approving "Get to building"

"Thank you, the boys will be happy," Lex said bowing and leaves but said under his breath "You fake, I doubt you even truly would help us actively but even so...once I get my chance you will be gone."

Well in this ending Makoto takes a sort of darker side with siding the villains but not too dark more like trying to reform the villains. But what about the other route?
