Makoto Naegi: Fleeing the Complex Epilogue
Route: Convict Allies
Nicole felt the strangeness in her head a bit more intense but moved on. She checks out what the last route was and goes back.
Makoto looks up and sees an opening in the ceiling he could reach it if he was boosted up, but Nicole and Brass would be too short to get him up there, but then he looked at the other two in the cell
"Psst…. hey" Makoto said getting the twos attention "I'm Makoto Naegi, this is Nicole."
"Hi" Nicole said waving.
"Hello, I'm Ruby Rose and this is Emerl" Ruby said smiling and Emerl nods to them.
"I know these two, they been causing problems for Lord Frieza for a while, a really duo of Robin Hood sorts" Brass said with a smile.
"Well, we can work together. See up there" Makoto motioning up to the ceiling "Ruby boosts us up and we can escape."
"Alright, all of us right" Ruby said smiling.
"Of course," Nicole said nodding
Ruby nods "Alright then."
It took a bit, but Makoto was boosted up and grabs onto the overhead pipe. He catches Brass with his legs and moves her up to the hole.
Brass opens the panel and gets in and helps Makoto in. Makoto then sees a stone in the large vent like area and smashes his cuffs off.
"Good, now what?" Makoto said thinking.
"Are we going to get Ruby and Emerl?" Brass said noting the ladder they could use.
"We could, but the more of us there is the more likely we could be caught" Nicole said with a nod.
"Hmmmm...I don't know" Makoto said rubbing his head, both make a good point and pulls out a coin "We'll flip for it."
"Alright, heads we leave them, tails we take them with us" Nicole said nodding.
Makoto flips the coin and catches it…. It landed on tails
"We take them with us" Makoto said.
"Alright, I guess with two extra it will be easier" Nicole said with a nod.
Makoto hangs upside down the ladder, and it is lowered down. He pulls up Emerl who is helped up by Brass. He then grabs onto Ruby and pulls her up and then pulls himself up.
Soon Ruby and Emerl's cuffs were broken off. Ruby smiles and said "Thanks, I am glad you came back."
"No one left behind" Brass said nodding.
"We should get moving" Emerl said, and the others nod and heads through the tunnel
They soon come to the end and Brass looks in "It's the storage room but it's guarded so quiet."
The group nod and move quick inside. As they do Burter was telling Jeice on the match of the game he was playing saying "...and I'm like look at how much I care Guldo. Heh, I don't care. I ended up buffing up my guys and doing like 70 damage."
"Heh, that is funny" Jeice said with a chuckle
Ruby then gasped and grabs a red item "My scythe…. oh they put a lock on it"
"I will handle unlocking it" Emerl said taking it and begins to work on it.
"Right now, we need to past by them" Nicole said looking at Jeice and Burter.
"I have some ideas" Brass said and lists them they could distract them, do a synchronized takedown on them, Makoto and Ruby can do a Bounce Bros move or they can do the old tall person trick.
"What do you think?" Ruby asked Makoto who thinks.
Bounce Bros
"Alright, let's do that Mario Bros move" Makoto said nodding.
"Right let's go" Ruby said nodding.
As they get ready Jeice says to Burter "Oh, speaking of the game, last night I kept facing the same deck..."
Ruby standing on Makoto's hands jumps up, Makoto moves forward but something went wrong when Ruby came down and crashes into Makoto knocking both out and gets the two guards' attention.
"Woah…. what happened?" Burter asked.
"I don't know but we should get them to a cell" Jeice said with a nod.
Emerl and Brass face palm and Nicole shaking her head said, "Did you really need to be extravagant?" She then resets.
Tall Guy
They find a large trench coat and Emerl looking asked "Erm…. you sure this will work?"
"I think it will, it's a classic" Brass said with a nod.
"Okay Makoto, you be the top" Ruby said with a smile.
Makoto nods and gets onto Ruby's shoulders and put on the coat. Nicole guides Ruby to the guards.
Jeice was talking to Burter "Oh, speaking of the game, last night I kept facing the same deck." He stops seeing the tall Makoto.
Makoto buts on a smile and said, "Hey pals, how goes it?"
The two guards exchange a look before raising their hands with Ki power up. Burter said "How dumb do you think we are?!"
"Yeah, Recoome is the tallest guy here and we never seen you before and we had no new guard arrivals!" Jeice said.
"Now that I think of it, this may not have been a good idea" Brass said.
"I don't see how being taller was supposed to help there" Nicole said and resets.
Distract
"I got this" Makoto said "I will distract them, Ruby and Emerl knock them out."
"Got it" Ruby said nodding and Emerl nods as well.
"Brass come with me and play a catchy music" Makoto said walking forward.
"Okay" Brass said and finds a music and walks forward with him.
Jeice then said "Oh, speaking of the game, last night..."
However, he was cut off when Brass begins playing the 'Monokuma Appears theme' and Makoto begins to dance to it surprising everyone
"Errr...what is this?" Burter asked confused.
"I don't know but...it's kind of cachy" Jeice said bobbing his head to it and then starts dancing with Makoto.
"What?!" Ruby, Nicole and Emerl said shocked.
"Well...I guess it's been boring" Burter said smiling and dances now too.
Seeing the three dance Brass dances as well and seeing this Ruby and Emerl look at each other, shrug and dance as well.
Nicole staring in disbelief said "I... Wh... I just...Whaat."
"Cupcake!" The cupcake said and Nicole resets.
Synchronized Takedown
Makoto and Ruby sneak up and either side of the two guards with chloroform rags and Brass signals them when to strike.
Unaware Jeice said to Burter "Oh, speaking of the game, last night I faced..." Brass signals and the two grab the guards and held the rags to their faces.
Burter and Jeice struggle a bit but soon pass out under the effects and pass out. Makoto and Ruby place them down
"Phew...close one" Brass said relieved.
"Yeah, we should keep moving" Emerl said nodding.
"Right, let's go" Ruby said and the group of five move forward. They reach to the end of the cell block near to the room with the lifts. Ruby investigates and sees the hatch on the ceiling in the room. She looks at the group "If we get you on the ceiling Makoto, you can drop down from the hatch and open the door from the other side."
"Sounds like a plan" Brass said with a smile.
"But we should be quiet" Emerl said pointing to Zarbon who was standing on the walkway above luckily his back was to them.
"Okay, Nicole any ideas?" Makoto asked
"Well, after getting ideas of Ruby and Emerl I have three" Nicole said thinking, Ruby could Judo throw Makoto up there, or Ruby could use the Force or they could use a device known as the GraviToR v2.0.
Judo Throw
Ruby gets into position while the robots and AI Lynx keep an eye on Zarbon. "Okay, you're good do it" Brass said.
Makoto nods and runs to Ruby who was ready. Once Makoto's foot was just about Ruby's ready hand she flips and throws him, unfortunately he was only thrown into the wall and smacks into it and slides down unconscious.
"Oops" Ruby said sweat dropping.
"That's about the teamwork I expected" Nicole sweat dropping and resets.
GraviToR v2.0
Emerl holds the device, "Okay this allows me to easily manipulate the gravity so I should be able to safely move onto the roof."
"Alright, go head" Makoto said giving a thumbs up
Emerl turns it on a bubble is around Makoto with a directional arrow, He manoeuvrers the boy up safely to the ceiling "and turn off to safely drop him on the ground."
He presses the off button and suddenly Makoto goes flying right and slams into the wall on the far right
"Err...I think you forgot to point the arrow back to the down position" Brass said sweat dropping and Emerl facepalms at his mistake.
"Newton's 6th Law. Use the gravity knob to reset gravity to the default setting." Nicole said with a giggle and resets.
The Force
"You can use the force?" Brass asked surprised.
"Sure, here let me show you" Ruby said smiling.
She then force chokes Makoto and lifts him up to the room of the building and lets go. Makoto pants a bit and then gives a thumbs up.
"There was probably a safer way of doing that" Nicole said to them.
"Yeah, but Ruby hasn't mastered the other abilities yet" Emerl states.
They watch Makoto fall into the room but recovers. He goes and sees several buttons but wasn't sure which opened this door, he sees a big red button.
"This should be it." He said and presses it.
Suddenly the door opens but also all the cell doors. Zarbon seeing this was shocked and notices the group but couldn't respond as the inmates all get out and begin escaping, one known as Miner 49er moves and attacks Zarbon
Zarbon struggles as he gets on his scouter comm saying on all channels "Prison Break!" the alarm sounds.
"Oops, sorry" Makoto said thinking this messes up
"Don't be, now we don't have to avoid all the guards as they will be focused on getting the situation under control, but we should still avoid them as best we can." Brass said nodding.
"Yeah, quick this way" Ruby said opening some sides doors.
"Let's go" Nicole said nodding.
The group run in but jump out the way as two prisoners an irishman named JackSepticEye and an alien named Crypto who was saying "Catch me if you can jerks!" run by.
Three guards known as Mavalai Quinn, Maxamillian Veers and a Vehicon named Steve run up and the group hide. Quinn said, "Surrender or die prisoners!"
"We need to take all three of them out" Brass said concerned.
"I could with my scythe, it's also a gun" Ruby said nodding.
"Makoto for you I have a grenade and a sniper rifle" Nicole said nodding.
Emerl nods "and for you Ruby I have a Crossbow and a taser."
"Tag team?" Makoto said to Ruby.
"Tag team" she said smiling nodding
Now they had to think about which combination to use.
Sniper Rifle + Crossbow
"Alright let's do it!" Ruby said with the crossbow.
"Right." Makoto said and jumps "360 no scope!" He fires a shot and lands to see what he hit, he accidently hit Ruby "Ohhhhh..."
"That is the worst thing I could see happening" Veers said shaking his head
"Let's see that in an instant replay!" Nicole said smiling holding a pad "Warning loud noises" She plays it and the reply was full or old memes and shouting over techno music and ended with illuminati and explosions.
"Ow….my ears" Emerl said rubbing his head while Nicole giggles and resets.
Grenade + Crossbow
Makoto pulls the pin and says "Fire in the hole!"
He throws the grenade and Ruby fires the crossbow bolt hitting the grenade and it sticks to Quinn's head.
"Ow…." Quinn said feeling and realises what happened "Uh oh...Never surrender!" He runs up and tackles Makoto and the grenade explodes killing everyone.
Nicole squints and said, "If he goes down he's taking you with him!" she resets
Grenade + Taser
Makoto nods to Ruby and she nods readying the taser. He tosses the grenade "Eat explosion!"
"And a little electricity!" Ruby said and fires and hits the grenade with the taser wire
The wild about of electricity causes the grenade to explode but a bigger explosion destroying most of the side of the Stormcage prison
Nicole blinks and said "Electricity + Grenade = Crazy Explosion apparently." she then resets
Sniper Rifle + Taser
Makoto holds the Sniper Rifle and sees Ruby gives a thumbs up "Oh...this isn't going to be nice" he said.
"Either way we have try it" Brass said nodding.
Makoto stands and Ruby shoots him with a taser, and Makoto jolts and fires the sniper rifle at all three injuring the guards and they go unconscious.
"Phew, good move" Emerl said with a nod.
The group moves forward and came upon an elevator two guards named Maxie and Courtney were standing in the lift.
"So, you are saying all the inmates are out of their cells" Courtney asked Maxie
"Yeah, some fool must have pressed the big red unlock all doors button" Maxie said adjusting his glasses he had no idea why that was even there.
Brass comes up with some hats "Here, I got these from two of the guards we took out, maybe they will come in handy."
"Yeah, we could use them as a distraction and toss them so we can take the elevator, or we could use them to pass by to use the other elevator or even join them" Ruby said not sure on which idea to use.
"By the way are we waiting on anyone or..." Maxie asked Courtney curious.
"No sir, I'd thought you would press the button" Courtney said shaking her head.
"Hmmm...I think..." Makoto said thinking on the idea. Toss, Pass by or Blend In
Pass By
Makoto, Ruby and Emerl wear the hats and Brass walks with them normal as they pass by the elevator.
Courtney watches them passing by but to her they looked like guards and Maxie says "We'll regroup with Archie on third floor and help them clear out Maximum Security. Sound like a plan?"
"Yes, I like the sound of that" Courtney said with a nod.
The group passes and were surprised to see three prisoners The Brickster, The Trapster and Doofinsmirtz were in it and the groups look at each other.
Brickster then calls out "Get the guards!" he then tackles Makoto and the other two get ready to attack.
"Oh no!" Ruby said as Trapster goes for her.
Emerl looks and sees the two guards were alerted "Oh no"
Nicole gulps and said, "Looks like they bought your disguises" She said and resets
Blend In
The group wear the hats and Ruby said, "Let me do the talking."
"I don't think so" Brass said since she worked here, she should do the talking
"It'll be okay" Emerl said to Brass.
"Hold the elevator" Ruby said, and the group enter the lift with Maxie and Courtney and it begins to move "Phew thanks, can you imagine this inmate outbreak? Crazy right?"
"Yes, it is crazy" Maxie said and looks at Ruby, Emerl and Makoto "Oh I don't think I saw you three before, you new here and Brass is showing you the ropes?"
"Yes, we just transferred from the…. err..eighth floor" Ruby said and Makoto and Emerl see Brass face palm and got worried
Maxie eyes them suspicious as if someone hit X to Doubt "The eighth floor...the cafeteria? Nice try inmates and traitor" He pulls out a gun.
"Oh snap!" Makoto said raising his arms.
"I should have answered that question" Brass said shaking her head.
"Heh...oops" Ruby said sweating a bit.
"What is that guy, a detective or something?" Nicole asked and resets.
Toss
Makoto takes one hat "Trust me" they nod.
He tosses the hat while Maxie said "We'll regroup with..."
Courtney stops him as she saw the hat, she moves and investigates and spots the three inmates in the other cell "Maxie! There are convicts here!" She draws her gun as Maxie joins her "Get down on the ground you three.
The group enter the lift and use it to ascend. Makoto and Ruby fist bump each other smiling.
"Oh, I can't wait to begin a new life" Brass said clapping
Nicole smiles and hugs her and Emerl the latter blushing a bit. "We all will find life for all of us" Nicole said.
"Indeed, but we're not out of the woods yet" Emerl said nodding.
They reach the top of the prison and as they came out it was complete chaos inmates and Frieza's guards, even the Shield Chaos Prevention agent Yamcha was panicking saying "Ah I don't like this!"
"Quick lets move" Brass said and the group moves forward
"Makoto! Brass! Emerl!" Ruby calls out and the group looked and gasped as Ruby was being held my Ginyu who's armour was a bit scuffed, but he was still looked strong "Help!" Ruby called out.
"Alright prisoner, back to your cell" Ginyu said traying to drag her away, but Ruby dug her heels in
"Hey let her go!" Makoto calls out angry.
"So, want to go another round kid? Alright I will let you make the first move" Ginyu said with a smirk still holding onto Ruby "So go ahead small fry take your best shot."
"Makoto, do you want some suggests?" Nicole asked.
"No, I have some ideas of my own" Makoto said and thinks on using an Adrenaline shot, make a face or use The KNEE
Nicole hopes he does well, this was the first time she did some ideas of his own.
The KNEE
Makoto said "Alright Ginyu, here I come!"
"I wonder what it is" Nicole said concerned.
Makoto then spins around fast and then springs forward hitting Ginyu and sends him and Ruby flying and exploding offscreen.
"GAME!" An announcer said and then in a different voice said, "Makoto Naegi Wins" then in a different voice "Fatality!"
"Ohhh...too much power" Makoto said sheepish and is smacked by Emerl.
"Whoa whoa whoa! You can't go mixing fighting game references like that!" Nicole said and resets.
Adrenaline
Makoto pulls out an Adrenaline pen "Okay...time to go fast" he said and stabs his leg with the needle
He then zooms forward attempting to grab Ruby, but we see Ruby where she was confused and we see Makoto standing near the lift holding Ginyu
"My turn" Ginyu said and grabs Makoto by the neck and flip pile-drives him into the ground and stands "Still a wimp" he chuckles.
Nicole sweat drops "I guess they do have similar heights. I see how you could get them mixed up..." She then resets.
Make a Face
"Okay Ginyu, you asked for it!" Makoto said and as everyone watches he makes a stupid face.
"What?!" Emerl and Brass said confused.
Ginyu stares deadpan and said "What, you think I will get upset over a silly face? Oh, very mature..." He was so distracted by this he was aware of his surroundings and gets hit by a speeding car thus releasing Ruby
"Thanks...I guess..." Ruby said unsure on that.
"Yeah...I knew I couldn't physically beat Ginyu after last time." Makoto said nodding.
"Oh, so you relied on your luck, make sense" Nicole said with a nod.
"Well, we should keep going" Emerl said nodding
"Right," Brass said and looks "I see one inmate guiding other to the gap of the fence, more are piling into a truck and there is a lone abandoned car that can fit all of us."
"Hmmmm" Makoto thinks.
Gap in the Fence
The groups see an inmate known as Dan was motioning people through the gap in the fence.
"Oh, we should go quick" Makoto said
"Yeah, let's go" Ruby said and the two run
"No wait!" Brass called out.
Makoto runs through the gap and falls off a cliff. Ruby seeing this stops in time but another inmate bumps into her and they all fall off the cliff screaming
"Looks like you needed one of them stop/go figure" Nicole said and rewinds.
Truck
The group go to the truck which is filled with three inmates known as James, Zeb and Markiplier and the groups is helped into the truck.
"Okay, we're ready to go" James said banging the truck to signal the driver and closes it up but the Truck doesn't go. "Uh…. who was driving again?"
Zeb sighs "I think it was meant to be you, James."
"Oops..." James said sweat dropping and everyone face palms.
"Didn't your mother tell you not to get into vans with strangers?" Nicole said and looks around "I guess this is a truck" The cupcake nods as Nicole rewinds
Car (Motorcycle)
"Come on let's go" Makoto said opening the car door,
Suddenly he was tackled, and it was Frieza who glares angrily. "Makoto!" Brass said running to help but was gripped by the neck with his tail,
"Oh...Makoto good to see you?" Frieza said with a sinister angry smile.
"R-Ruby..." Makoto said struggling and looks to see the car driving off.
"Sorry if I seem quick to hurt you, this whole situation has made me absolutely livid" Frieza said glaring "Since I made this prison 50 of your monkey Earth years and there has been no incident. But just one day after you arrive this happens!"
"Ah…. Sorry but...you deserved it" Makoto groans.
"I still need you for those gemstones, but I am going to make you and Brass regret what you…." Frieza said smirking but a shot his heard and a bullet goes through his tail "AHHH!" Frieza cries out in pain dropping Brass and grips his tail "My tail!"
"Hey Freaky Alien Genotype!" Ruby is heard yelling out.
Frieza looks to see the car coming Ruby on the hood as Emerl drives with her gun and it turns into a Scythe and smacks Frieza into the face knock him in the air and slicing his mouth and he lands on the ground unconscious his scouter cracked and his face very damaged.
"Ow..." Brass said as Nicole helps her up.
"Need a hand" Ruby said offering it to Makoto.
"Thanks Ruby" Makoto said smiling "Now let's get out of here."
Everyone gets in the car drives off a ramp over the wall and to freedom smiling at it.
A while later the Stormcage was back under control and Ginyu was in the medical bay as Frieza was being worked on.
"So, the number of missing inmates is 57% we are arranging search parties for the missing ones" Ginyu said, his arm in a sling and one of his horns is cracked
"No" Frieza said his voice robotic.
"Excuse me my lord?" Ginyu said surprised.
"Focus on finding Makoto and Ruby Rose, all of us including me will solely focus on finding them." Frieza said turning around, he had a bandage on his tail and was wearing a metal mouthpiece to help hold his mouth secure as it was broken. "They will pay for what they did, understand Captain Ginyu!"
Ginyu nods and salutes "As you wish my lord."
Frieza looks at the window and thinks of Makoto and Ruby "You will pay...both of you will pay."
As the group were relaxing in the car as it drove Nicole rubs her head "Ah...what…." She said in pain and her eyes flash "Ahhhh!" and with that it goes static.
