The next morning Graham is on the couch half asleep as Ace comes to sit next to him, her ring catching in some sunlight streaming through the windows, thinking of what he said about them having the ability of being honest and open with each other she looks at her fiancé, that makes her smile knowing that they will get married. "Graham."

"Yes," sensing something is up with how she said his name. "You're not taking back your yes are you?"

Grabbing both of his hands making him face her, "no not that, but there is something I need to tell you."

"What is it, are you feeling ok?"

"These past few weeks when I am with you it is when I have been feeling the best mentally."

"You're worrying me."

"The day you started your week-long plan of asking me to marry you, we had a cyber attack at A Charitable Earth."

"Was it him?"

"We think so, we took down our website then put it back up with different firewalls. I have been keeping a good eye on all of my accounts, and all of my employees are too."

"Did you call your donors?"

"I did, only a few of them said they don't want to donate this quarter."

"I wish there was a way I could help."

"You have been helping me. One of the worst days was when you decided to show me I was loved and cherished all night. I am thinking of getting in contact with Rani Chandra, a reporter that was trained by Sarah Jane, a friend of the Doctor that we lost a few years ago."

"Thinking of giving her whatever is in that blue folder?"

"I am."

"What is in it?"

"Something that could ruin his life."

"Don't stoop down to his level, you Ace are someone so amazing and everyone that knows you will never leave your side. Maybe I can talk to the union that I belonged to and see if they can help with some of the difference that you lost."

"Graham, it isn't about the money. He went after you, then my business. You and A Charitable Earth are the most important things to me."

Rubbing her left ring finger, "even before I got this ring; I made a commitment to you, nothing will drive me away from you. I will be there for you come rain or shine. A Charitable Earth will survive this. Also if it is proven he hacked your system that is a computer crime and the fact he attacked me; just think of how many years he could be put away."

"Up to 5 years for the Cyber Attack and anywhere from no prison time, 6 months to 3 years for what he did to you."

"So not long?"

"No, now you see why I am so worried."

"I do, but you should also know that I am safe; I know what Paul looks like now. He won't do anything more stupid."

"How can you know that Graham?"

"You have been teaching me self defense and so has the Doctor, I'll be fine."

"Graham, we thought that before he attacked you."

"Yes, but that was before I knew who he was. You didn't think he would stoop to finding out where you lived and hurt me."

"Of course not, though I should know not everyone is inherently good. I have known that since I was a teenager."

"Ace, you are inherently good. You have one of the best hearts that I know."

"You have said that a few times Graham."

"It's true, I wish you could see what I see."

"Graham, you do help me with that. I just don't want to see anything happen to you or A Charitable Earth again."

Taking her in his arms, "I can't promise you that nothing will happen. What I can promise you is that my arms will be here to hold you. I know you are strong and can handle anything life throws at you; you no longer have to do it alone."

"The first time in a long time I have both a business partner and a romantic partner, though it's more than romantic with you."

"Our future."

"Our future. Graham, can I ask you something?"

"You can ask me anything at all."

"Are you mad at me for not telling you sooner?"

"No, I am a little disappointed only because I couldn't help you emotionally from it. I want to be the one to pick you up when you feel like the world hates you. I also hope you never feel like that."

"I don't."

"Good," they relax on the couch until a knock and someone bursting inside.

"So how is it so far," they look up as the red head plops down right next to them.

"Hello Mel," Ace says. "Graham and I haven't been engaged for even a full day yet. Only had a small private celebration so far."

"Just think it wasn't too long ago I came in here and interrupted the two of you were in the middle of a make out session, this time you two were just cuddling."

"I can change that," Ace turns more into Graham and starts kissing him, making Mel leave. After the door shuts she tries to break from the kiss, but Graham wraps his arms around her, drawing her into a deeper kiss. His tongue traces her bottom lip asking for entrance. She moans in acceptance.

The next morning Ace is walking into her building with a large smile on her face. "Morning Ace," Nyssa says.

"Morning Nys, how was the rest of your weekend?"

"It was fine, though I bet yours was good."

"I told Graham about what all is going on."

"How did he take it?"

"Really well, he wasn't mad; just disappointed because he couldn't support me."

"That man has it bad for you."

"Like you don't for Tegan."

"It's different, until recently we hadn't seen each other in 40 years. I would never wish that on anyone. The police want to talk some more to us."

"Please tell me Officer Neah isn't one of them, that man just gets on my nerves."

"I know why, considering how he reacted while on Graham's case. Until they can find connections to Paul, I don't think so."

"We have turned over everything. How come they haven't. Does Paul have them in his pocket or something? It's not like he hasn't bribed people before."

"What do you mean?" Ace's eyes go wide as she takes Nyssa's hand and drags her into her office.

"You know that blue folder?"

"I do, wait there's proof that he's bribed before?"

"Yes, a former Prime Minister, who was recently kicked out because he said he hates all of us when a former enemy of the Doctor returned and mind controlled anyone who hasn't been in the TARDIS much. Well Kate has been in it once and so had Wilf, but Wilf also had a history of fighting off mind controlling."

"What," Nyssa asks, confused on how he had managed that.

"That is all we have been told by the Doctor. If you ask him he might explain. He doesn't like talking about it much, says it was not long after he wiped Donna's memories and before she married Shaun."

"I may have to ask him. So Ace your wedding?"

"I don't want a big hubbub, I am not some young blushing bride."

"You will be a blushing bride though."

"I may not even wear white."

"Why?"

"It's a tradition, I understand that. I don't have someone to give me away, nor do I want one."

"What about a bridal party?"

"I am still doing that, how do you know about these earth customs?"

"I have read a lot of books and watched some movies on my days off. I asked Tegan for the most brain numbing movies, so she turned on what she called chick flicks."

"Tegan likes chick flicks," a slow evil smile grows on Ace's face for a new thing to tease her friend about.

"We used it as an excuse for a date."

"That won't stop me, you know how many times she teases me about Graham, payback is a bitch." Ace walks off, Nyssa shoots off a text to warn Tegan about the teasing that will be happening at any time.
