Chapter 2! Sorry for not uploading, lots of stuff happened. I made some edits to fix the first chapter. Anyways, enjoy this part!

Move names and chapter titles are inspired by BGM names (Ecstasy of Gold, High Seas Hi-jinx, Izuku and Katsuki), phrases (Go Beyond, Plus Ultra, Hero Academia, etc), whatever's going on (Koichi's Existential Crisis), or some combination.

Chapter 2: The Beginning, Part 2 (In which RWBY comes into play!) [A random rooftop in Shinjuku, 2089, 9;00 PM] Tsutsumi Kaina never had a problem waiting. She'd always been somewhat patient. But today she was feeling antsy. They'd paired her with Gunhead, after all. And while he was cute, this was merely professional.. So why was she so concerned about it? Buncha fuss over nothing. I swear, just because we both have gun quirks- "Everything all right, Lady Nagant?" the Battle Hero asked, his mask off, showcasing his cute face that should really be on a K-Pop idol, not a hero. "Y-yeah, just fine," Kaina answered, shivering. "Cold is all-" And not one second later, he'd draped his coat over her shoulder. "Don't you have a winter costume?" he snickered. "D-don't do that so suddenly," Kaina muttered. Oh dear, she really was falling for him. "Sorry," he muttered, ashamed. "So cute.." In her distraction, Kaina had said it out loud. Gunhead looked at her, surprised. The look he gave her said, "I wouldn't mind being your boyfriend if you wanted." Now, Kaina Tsutsumi had definitely loved before. Qrow Branwen, also called Harbinger... while she didn't like his constant drinking, he was always fun to be around.

But something about Gunhead clicked. It wasn't like with Qrow where they were just fooling around and something happened. It was a connection. It was more, "Opposites attract, especially polar opposites." And with their similar Quirks, could one blame her? "Gunhead.." she whispered. He smiled. "I know." "Then.." Kaina rested her head on his shoulder, smiling. She could get used to this.

[Aldera Middle School, Musutafu City, March 3rd, 2101- 5:15 PM] Koichi sighed as he looked over the student council for the umpteenth time while they discussed something among themselves. The year was coming to an end, so they didn't really do much anymore. Not that they did anyway. Most business was handled quickly and the rest was just social. Currently, they were talking about… "Midoriya's really got his work cut out for him," one of the students, an American transfer by the name of Oscar Pine, said. At the mention of the boy who was basically his brother in all but blood, Koichi sat up, and the American boy continued, "But I think he has a chance." At this, most of the other students laughed. "Really, Oscar?" Asked one- one of the annoying popular girls, Nagato. Koichi gritted his teeth as he forced himself to not stand up and shoot her. "Really," Oscar replied, "He might be Quirkless, but he's scary smart." As they continued, Koichi got a text. What it read surprised him. —-- Izuku: Meet me at Takoba Beach tomorrow morning. A thing happened. —-- Koichi sighed. The last time "a thing happened," his mother didn't come home. "What did you do this time, Midoriya Izuku?" he muttered as he stood up and walked home.

[Takoba Municipal Beach, Musutafu City, March 3rd, 2101- 5:30 AM]

"Just one day without a headache, just one. Is it really so much to ask, Izuku?" Koichi sighed at his friend. He wasn't mad or disappointed or anything. He was just.. Done with everything. Beside Izuku, Toshinori Yagi, the frail skeleton man who was really All Might, spoke. "I don't understand, is something wrong, young Tsutsumi?" All Might asked. "If you're really All Might, which villain did you fight on June 9th, 2096?" "Toxic Chainsaw," All Might answered. Koichi sighed. "Well, I guess I trust you, then. But Izuku, you are going to tell Inko about this." "B-but-" "No buts." Izuku nodded. "That aside," Koichi continued, "If we're gonna go through with this, what's the plan?" "Well," All Might started, "If I gave One For All to him right now his limbs would fall off. He needs to train his body before he can use it. But fear not, because I had a plan for this!" All Might pulled out a binder. "Behold!" the No 1 Hero said. "The Aim To Pass: American Dream Plan!" Koichi grabbed the binder and skimmed through it. "10 months of intensive training, by clearing the beach of trash.. But that leaves barely any time to practise using the damn quirk." "I.. hadn't really thought of that," All Might sheepishly admitted. He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I'll do it," Izuku suddenly declared. "I want to be like you, All Might. So I'll do it." Koichi sighed. "Why do I have a feeling this'll go horribly wrong?"

[Somewhere in Vale, Oregon, United States, August 3rd 2101- 5:00 AM] A gang of armed men entered a weapons shop. The gang's leader, a man in a white coat, walked up to the counter. "Finally," he said, "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a weapons shop open this late?"

Then the gangster aimed his cane like a gun at the shopkeeper. Everyone gasped and most of the patrons escaped while they could. "Take the money," the shopkeeper sighed in defeat. "I'm not here for the money," the gangster grinned. Then he turned to his men. "Help yourselves, boys." At that, his men went and took ammunition where they could find it, as well as weapons. One went around to the back. There he found a lone girl in a red hood, reading a weapons magazine with her headphones on. "Hey kid, hands up!" But she didn't respond. So the goon walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder. This got her attention. The girl turned and removed her hood. "Yes?" The goon gestured to his head and she took off her headphones. "Can I help you?" She asked politely. "I said hands up." It took a bit for the girl to process, but then she tilted her head. "Are you…. robbing me?" "Yes!" The goon replied in frustration. Meanwhile at the front of the store, the leader of the gang was chilling until one of his guys slammed into the table behind him. Another one of the goons came over to take her out, but she shot forward in a blur of red, rose petals trailing behind. In slight amusement, the white coated gangster muttered, "What an interesting quirk.. Does she go to Beacon?" Meanwhile, the girl shot through the front window and landed in the street ahead, hefting a folded rifle over her back. As she stood, the stock extended, and the ends folded out into a scythe. As soon as it was transformed, she spun it a bit and assumed a combat stance while several goons came out to fight her. But she was ready, because as they fired at her, she dodged each shot with a trail of roses, using her scythe in ways no casual would think of- the gangster swore she was using it as some sort of lever. Or something. He wouldn't know, he wasn't really a physics guy. But he never lost his cool. He put out his cigar and sighed. "I guess you really do get what you pay for… Well, Little Red, you've just ruined a perfectly good heist. I'd love to stay and play but I'm afraid this is where we part ways."

[Approximately the same time, at Takoba Municipal Beach, Musutafu City, Japan] "You've been overdoing it, haven't you, Young Midoriya?" All Might- no, Yagi-sensei, as he was called in this form- asked sternly but kindly to a collapsed Izuku. Meanwhile, Koichi strolled along in the background, chatting with the girls who were surrounding him. "Ngh.. I need to catch up.." the greenette muttered. "Such dedication! You needn't worry about anything, Young Midoriya! This old man will modify the plan for you!" Koichi snickered. "Really, sensei? You're not that old.." Yagi sighed, but suddenly, Koichi's phone rang. "Excuse me," Koichi said politely, "But I gotta take this." Just a minute later, his eyes widened. "Ruby, what the hell?! You got arrested?!"

Aaaand that's a wrap! Yeah, I don't really care what you say, Ruby vs Roman's goons was too good not to include here. Dust will appear, but mostly as a variant of Trigger (because let's be real, that fits better.) The RWBY elements will be based on Volumes 1-3, and we'll see where we go from there. And for those of you asking, yes, Remnant is just Oregon. Next chapter we'll see how exactly Koichi knows Ruby (spoiler alert, it's a bit complicated.) So with that said, let's go over our main cast, and their quirks.

Izuku Midoriya- Quirk: None! I see where the name Deku comes from… He's still really useful though!

Kaina Tsutsumi/Lady Nagant- Quirk: Rifle! Her right arm transforms into a sniper rifle! Her bullets are made by twisting two strands of hair together.

Ruby Rose- Quirk: Petal Burst!

Yeaaah, this Ruby won't have silver eye abilities. It's too much of a pain to explain away. So she just has Petal Burst- she can move at high speed, leaving a trail of rose petals in her wake. Current limits are unknown.

And finally, our star! Koichi Tsutsumi! Quirk: Loadout! His right arm can become any gun! And I mean any gun! As long as the barrel is 12 inches or more, and it's illegal to own in the UK. Lots of ways I can work with this! His bullets are made either the same way as Lady Nagant, or they're hardened keratin masses like his dad.

Nicknames: For Koichi: Koicchan (Izuku) , Koichi-kun (Kaori, Kyoka), Quiet Kid (Bakugo) From Koichi: B*tch Boy Bakugo, Tsar Bomba, Blasty Mcsplode, Ground Zero (Bakugo); Kaorin (Kaori; it's an abbreviation of Kaori-chan, like Minorin is for Minori-chan), Rubes (Yeah it's for Ruby)

Hero Names: Still a WIP but here goes! Koichi: Loadout Hero, Nagant Izuku: Can-Do Hero, Deku-kun Bakugo: Explosive Hero, Tsar Bomba Kaori: Illusory Hero: Mirage Ruby: Scythe Hero: Red Reaper

He didn't talk during dinner, and when he went to his room, he reviewed his plan for tomorrow. Then, he experimentally cycled through each of his arm's modes- shotgun to assault rifle to sniper to arm. Yep, he thought. No stopping me tomorrow. —-- See you in the next chapter!
