A/N:

For this chapter is it:

Crossover Harry Potter and Scooby-Doo + some mentions of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

Disclaimer: I don't own any characters of the books, series, Manga/Anime and movies at all. I just own my O.C's.

Warning: There are no lemons, violence or character death detected. There is some bullying detected up ahead.

A little clarification: I would like to clarify something that might have caused some confusion or misunderstanding in my previous chapter. It came to my attention that some people would say that my OC, Yoni Potter, is Harry Potter's adoptive older sister and that the Dursleys aren't acting as they should be. In this story the Dursleys are nice. Only Dudley dares to bully his cousins. My OC, Yoni Potter, is not adopted by James and Lily Potter. She is their biological daughter and Harry's big sister. Chazz Princeton is the one who is adopted into the Potter Family. I hope this clarifies a lot.

Please enjoy the story.

Chapter 2: Crystal Cove High

~1 September, Dursley House in Crystal Cove~

The soft light of the morning sun slowly began to shine through the double glass door into Yoni's room.

The alarm went off at six thirty. A hand shot to the alarm clock. it hit the snooze button.

Yoni sat up in her bed yawning. She stretched her arms above her head. Then she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She threw the sheets off her. She got out of bed. She stumbled to her bathroom in a sleepy state.

In her bathroom, Yoni took a shower to freshen up. She then thoroughly combed her long hair. The night before she had already laid out her clothes for the next day before bed. She put her clothes on. She had opted for a black blouse, blue jeans shorts – that reached her knees, and an open red-black checked shirt. She then brushed her teeth.

Yoni then came out of her bathroom again. She sat down on her bed to put on her long black long socks and sneakers. Then she stood up. She walked past her bed to her desk. Her shoulder bag was open on her desk chair, ready for the day. She double-checked it to ensure it had everything she needed for her first day of school at Crystal Cove High before closing it. She then took the strap of her shoulder bag. She put it on her shoulder. She then walked over to her bedroom door.

As soon as she put her hand on the door handle, Harena was immediately at her feet by the door, ready to go downstairs together for breakfast.

Yoni hadn't opened the door yet. She seemed to be waiting for something before she did.

Something small flew towards her. It floated a few inches from her face.

It was a small dark gray creature about ten centimeters tall. It had a small body with a large head. It had a pale gray patch with white around the eyes, mouth and chest. It had amber eyes four whiskers of which two were on the head and two wolf incisors. It had wolf-like ears with white tips and a thick flexible tail with a white tip. The forearms and lower legs were white.

"Is it already time to get up?" The creature asked sleepily. "It's still far too early."

Yoni couldn't help but smile, but she thought he was right. Once they moved to Crystal Cove and the house was in order, they could stay in bed a little longer or go to bed later. Now they had to get up early again to go to school or to work.

"Well Fellan, we've to go back to bed early and get up early for school." She said to the floating wolf creature.

He groaned softly and said: "Then I'm glad we, Kwamis, don't have such a thing as a school. We don't need one at all, like you humans."

"No, you certainly don't need that. You, Kwamis, are wisdom itself." Yoni said lightly with a playful grin.

"But of course. We, Kwamis, possess both universal wisdom and mightly great powers." Fellan said cockily.

"Yes, powers you aren't allowed to use without a Holder. Who knows what catastrophic things would happen then." Yoni said with a raised eyebrow.

The Kwami gave his Holder an annoying look.

"You're no fun." He grumbled.

"But it's the truth. Just imagine if Plagg used his destructive powers without his Holder?" She said calmly.

Fellan sighed deeply and then said: "That means total destruction. I know. If Tikki uses her powers without a Holder, that's no fun either."

"Ah no? What did she cause then?" She asked curiously.

"Tikki once made it rain chocolate, when they had just invested chocolate." Fellan said. "That rain lasted for about five weeks."

"Wo, it sounds like she had a sweet tooth." She said surprised.

"You have no idea how. Hopefully, it won't be another millennium before she gets another binge like that." He said hopefully.

"Well, speaking of food, I'm hungry." Yoni announced. "Let's go downstairs for breakfast."

"Good idea. Harena and I could use a good hearty breakfast too." Fellan said approvingly.

Harena meowed in agreement from Yoni's feet.

"You know you can't eat with us and that you've to stay out of sight, right? You're a secret. No one can find out that you're here and that I'm the superheroine, Lupa." Yoni reminded her Kwami.

"Yes, yes, I know. I can still eat with you while hiding. No one will know I'm there." Fellan reassured her casually. "Besides, only Harry, Chazz and your best friend in Paris, Marinette aka Ladybug, know that I'm your Kwami and allow you to become Lupa."

"Shh! That doesn't mean my uncle, aunt and annoying cousin have to find out that Marinette and I are superheroes." She hissed in annoyance and looked nervously at the door.

Fellan merely rolled his eyes.

Yoni slowly but carefully opened the door to her room a crack. That caused her to glance down the hallway to see if anyone was listening at her door.

"Aren't you going a little too far with being paranoid? You're almost as bad as Marinette at being paranoid." Fellan said frowning. "I've heard from Tikki that her Holder is really bothered by her paranoia and comes up with the most absurd theories for possible situations that she might or might not experience."

"That's Marinette for you." Yoni said smiling. "Come on, hide, Fellan. Then we can go and have breakfast."

Fellan sighed and then hid in his Holder's shirt.

Yoni opened the door further, so she could leave the room.

Harena soon slipped out of the room when the door opened further from a crack.

This caused Yoni to chuckle as she closed the door behind her. She followed Harena down the hallway to the stairs. She descended them.

At the foot of the stairs, Harena stopped for a moment. She put her nose up slightly. She smelled the air around her. She immediately headed for the kitchen. Apparently, she had smelled something good.

Yoni grinned and followed Harena closely.

In the kitchen, Aunt Petunia was busy preparing breakfast at the counter.

Uncle Vernon sat at the table reading his newspaper while Harry finished setting the table. Only Dudley was still nowhere to be found.

'Dudley must still be snoring in his bed.' Yoni thought grumpily as she took a seat at the set table.

Once he had finished setting the table, Harry took a seat at the breakfast table.

Yoni took the coffee pot. She poured some coffee into Uncle Vernon's coffee cup. Then she added some milk and sugar, just like her uncle liked his coffee.

Uncle Vernon glanced over the edge of his newspaper. He smiled kindly at his niece as she made his coffee the way he preferred it.

Meanwhile, Harry filled his and his sister's glass with orange juice. Then he made sure Aunt Petunia's tea was just the way she liked it.

Aunt Petunia served breakfast. She divided it over five plates. Then she wanted to take the plates and bring them to the table, when they suddenly started to float. Much to her surprise, the plates flew to the table and landed on the table in front of the right person or place. She looked at the table in surprise. She saw her niece looking over her shoulder at her with one hand raised. She noticed that that hand had a green glow. Her niece grinned mischievously at her. Causing her to shake her head with a smile. She rolled her eyes. Then she took a seat at the table.

Uncle Vernon put his newspaper aside as his plate of breakfast magically landed on the table in front of him. He looked knowingly at his niece. He tried to give her a disapproving look, but it didn't work. He had a small smile on his lips and a playful and mischievous glint in his eyes. He was just about to start his breakfast when he noticed that someone was missing. That was his son, Dudley.

"Where is Dudley? Has he left for school yet?" He asked Aunt Petunia.

"No, he hasn't left for school yet. It's way too early for that." She replied.

"Then there is a very good chance that he's still in bed." Yoni concluded. "Or he's still standing in front of the mirror looking at himself. Flexing his muscles, certainly."

Harry spluttered and coughed as he choked as he burst out laughing at that statement while drinking his juice.

Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia looked at Yoni somewhat disapprovingly, but the corners of their mouths lifted slightly.

Seeing their look, Yoni said: "What? It's the truth. Then they've the nerve to say that women take a long time to get ready in the bathroom."

Aunt Petunia smiled and said: "Whatever he's doing, he better come down for breakfast."

"The only question is, how do we get him down?" Uncle Vernon asked thoughtfully. "Soon they'll be late for school if Dudley doesn't continue and comes down for breakfast."

Leave that to me." Yoni said with a mischievous grin.

Her hand took on a green glow again. Green flames appeared above her fingertips. Then those flames formed a dragon. It then spread its fiery wings and flew away towards its destination.

Aunt Petunia looked a little worried as the dragon from green flames flew away.

"Uhm... what's it going to do? Nothing bad, I hope?" She asked unsure.

"Oh no, dear aunt. It's just going to help Dudley come down for breakfast faster." Yoni said lightly and innocently, as she turned her attention back to her breakfast.

Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon shared a concerned look, knowing just how powerful Yoni's magic was. They didn't even notice that their niece had both a mischievous grin and a mischievous glint in her eyes as she waited for Dudley's appropriate response to her magical 'alarm'. And she got it too.

Suddenly, a very manly – no way – scream echoed through the house. It caused Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon to look up in shock.

Yoni and Harry ducked their heads to hide their grins. They tried to contain their laughter as best as they could. They had often heard Dudley scream, which often sounded like a weaned pig and girlish. This scream sounded suspiciously much more girlish."Yoni, what did you do?" Uncle Vernon asked sternly.

Yoni coughed briefly to get her laughter under control. She tried to school her expression before looking up at her uncle.

"Nothing at all, Uncle Vernon. I only used my magic to wake him up or get him out of the bathroom. That's all." she said shrugging her shoulders.

Uncle Vernon eyed her skeptically. His eyes narrowed as he observed his niece. She might look innocent, but he could clearly see the mischievous look in her eyes. That she enjoyed Dudley screaming like that.

"Then why was he screaming like that? That can't be normal." Aunt Petunia said worriedly. She desperately wanted to rush up the stairs to see if everything was okay.

Yoni seemed to think before she said: "Maybe something went wrong once my magic reached Dudley's room. Or I may have made a mistake while forming that dragon. I may have used the wrong spell. If Dudley comes down, then we can ask him what happened. That way I can find out what went wrong."

This seemed to calm Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon down a bit, convincing them that something had just gone wrong.

Harry gave his sister a sideway glance with a small grin. He knew his sister was lying. He also knew that she would never make a mistake in magic and always knew what she was doing in that area. As for what happened to Dudly, he was sure it had gone the way she wanted it to. Only lying was quite a job for both him and his sister. That was never exactly an easy task for them. It always seemed like people could tell when they were trying to lie. He was surprised that she managed to lie credibly this time.

Not much later, Dudley finally came down. He hurried into the kitchen.

Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, Yoni and Harry all looked up as he burst loudly into the kitchen. They saw that his clothes had been put on very carelessly. It looked like he had gotten dressed in a hurry. His blond toupee looked uncombed. It stood in all directions. It was nearly as bad as Harry's hair was.

"Dudley, what's wrong? What happened?" Aunt Petunia asked worried.

While Uncle Vernon said disapprovingly: "Dudley, how do you look now? You haven't even combed your hair yet. And look at how you're dressed, like a slob. You're not going to make a good impression on your first day of school. After breakfast, you go back to your room to brush your teeth, comb your hair and dress decently."

Dudley looked at his father in anger and irritation. It wasn't his fault he looked like that. He took a seat at the table. He began to eat his breakfast greedily.

"Dudley, what happened? Why were you screaming like that?" Aunt Petunia asked again worried.

Now everyone's attention was on Dudley. They were all eager to know what had happened.

Yoni looked at her cousin with interest and faked concern. But underneath it, she hid what she really felt. She would have otherwise looked very smug and grinned mischievously.

"Oh Mommy, it was awful." Dudley said dramatically, a little too dramatically. "I was still sleeping soundly when I was rudely awakened by a gruesome monster. It loomed over me. It growled viciously at me. It kept following me as I hurriedly got dressed or was in the bathroom. I didn't even have time to do my hair before it chased me out of my bathroom and room."

Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon glanced at each other before turning their attention to Yoni.

"Oh no, I made a mistake during the incantation." Yoni said in shock, clearly being acted to her brother. "The spell was supposed to wake Dudley up with two invisible hands or push him out of the bathroom if he's been in there the whole time. Not that it would create a monster and chase him the whole time he woke up."

Well, that was a lie. The spell had gone just like Yoni wanted it to happen. Only the Dursleys don't need to know that. Her aunt and uncle would be disappointed to find out that she had used her magic to start making Dudley's life miserable now. She would have been more than happy to make him pay for this. She also took a lead out of her two best friends, Fred and George Weasley, book to get back at Dudley. She had gotten inspiration for this spell from their previous visit to the museum upon arriving at Crystal Cove.

Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon looked doubtfully at each other for a moment. It almost seemed as if they were unsure for a moment whether Yoni's explanation was true or not. Then they turned their attention back to their niece.

"Okay, but just make sure that it doesn't happen again next time." Aunt Petunia said.

Yoni nodded and promised.

Dudley looked at both his parents and Yoni in open-mouthed disbelief. He had hoped they would severely punish her for using her magic. Except he seemed to have forgotten that the use of magic with or without a wand was controlled differently here than it was in Britain.

Then all five of them turned their attention to their breakfast. They focused on eating it.

While eating, Dudley glared at Yoni and Harry.

When Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia had finished their breakfast, cleared their plates and walked away from the table; Dudley seized his chance.

Dudley looked up from his plate with a scowl. He looked at his cousins. He tried to look at them as angrily and threateningly as possible. It just didn't really have the desired effect he wanted.

Yoni looked at him boredly, while Harry rolled his eyes.

"Now listen up, you freaks." He hissed threateningly. "Don't even think about making friends here. I'll make sure you won't be able to keep them for long."

Yoni rolled her eyes. She gave Dudley a very annoying look. She even raised an eyebrow. His threat did not affect her. Not at all. In Little Whinging he had his friends to carry out such threats. Except he didn't have his group of friends here.

"Oh yeah? And how are you going to do that, Dudleykins?" She asked grinning. "Have you forgotten that your gang of friends aren't here in Crystal Cove? Now they certainly can't help you ruin other people's lives."

Dudley blinked several times before turning pale. His eyes widened as it dawned on him.

Yoni grinned when she saw this. She even noticed beads of sweat were starting to form on his forehead. She enjoyed it when it dawned on him that this threat had no effect whatsoever.

Dudley quickly recovered. He schooled his shocked expression back into his angry scowl.

"So what?" He snapped. "I'll make new friends here, form a new gang. Together with them, I'll make sure that you're friendless here with your reputation destroyed."

Yoni looked at him disinterestedly. She had heard that threat too many times, so it had long lost its power. He had used that threat not too long ago when both of them were taking the entrance exam of Kaiba Corp's Duel Academy.

Harry had a neutral expression. He was still a little uncomfortable with all those threats.

"Then we wish you the best of luck in trying this. But don't think you'll succeed in carrying out this threat. It has been the same for years. It's really getting old." Yoni said calmly as she got up from the table.

Dudley frowned as she walked into the kitchen to put her plate and glass in the dishwasher with the dishes. He had actually expected a completely different reaction from her than this calm, cold-blooded and brutal reaction.

Harry quickly followed his sister's lead as he stood up from the table and put his plate away.

As they both emerged from the kitchen, Yoni said: "I'd hurry up if I were you, Dudley. We're about to leave. You don't want to be late on your first day at a new school, do you? That would give a bad first impression."

Dudley quickly gobbled down his breakfast and then left the table as quickly as possible. He rushed as quickly as he could to his room to continue getting ready for school.

Yoni watched Dudley with a small grin as he hurried off to his room. She already knew that they were going to have a good time. Also, Dudley's threat was pointless.

~Crystal Cove High~

Once everyone had finished getting ready to leave, Uncle Vernon, Yoni, Harry and Dudley said goodbye to Aunt Petunia. She wished all four of them good luck at work and school.

Uncle Vernon got into the car behind the wheel.

Dudley had said earlier that he would sit in the front passenger seat, but Yoni got to the car faster and claimed this seat for herself.

So he gruntingly took the backseat, together with Harry.

Uncle Vernon started the engine. He drove from the house. He drove towards downtown Crystal Cove to drop the teen off at their new school.

During the ride, Dudley spent the entire time looking angrily into space with his arms crossed.

Yoni could see this from the rearview mirror. It made her roll her eyes. Her cousin had been in a bad mood all morning because nothing was going his way. She was going to make sure this wouldn't ruin either her or Harry's day.

It seemed like forever before Uncle Vernon arrived in front of the school building.

Yoni and Harry quickly said goodbye to their uncle and quickly left the car.

Dudley said goodbye to his father and was about to leave the car, when his father stopped him for a moment. He was warned by him to behave himself at school and not to cause trouble. What had made him even more angry was that he had slammed the car door close behind him very loudly.

Uncle Vernon sighed heavily. He drove away from the school to work.

Halfway along the path, Yoni stopped briefly to look at the building of her new school.

The building was of light brown stone. It was built in the Spanish style. Which was influenced by the city's founders and its history.

Yoni had spent the summer holidays reviewing the history surrounding the founding of Crystal Cove out of interest in preparation for the new school year at Crystal Cove High.

Harry had come to stand next to her. He looked at the building in wonder. He could hardly wait to take classes here and make new friends. He too could notice the Spanish style in the school's architecture. He too had gone through the history of Crystal Cove.

As they stood admiring the building, Dudley angrily strode towards them. When he was closer to them, he brutally rammed his way between them. He bumped their shoulders very hard as he rammed between them and strode towards the entrance.

Yoni glared after Dudley as he strode towards the school's double glass doors.

Harry also looked after his cousin, clutching his aching shoulder.

"Come on, Harry." Yoni said. "Let's go inside and get our class schedule before classes start."

Harry nodded in agreement.

The Potter siblings continued down the path to the double glass entrance. Once inside, they made their way through the students and hallways to the secretary's office to get their class schedule. This way they knew which class they would join and what classes they would have with that class. They were each also given a map of the school. This way they could easily find their way to where their classes were being held.

Yoni wasn't sure if Dudley had stopped by the secretary yet to get his class schedule. She didn't really care whether he did it or not. It was his problem if he was late for class, lost or was in the wrong class. Not hers. She carefully looked over her class schedule. Her first class of the day was Science from Professor E. Raffalo. She saw that his first class was History. She then looked at her map where her class was held and her brother's. She then glanced at the clock. She saw that they had about twenty minutes left before the bell rang and the first class started.

Yoni and Harry left the office. They walked through the hallways to the classroom where Harry was going to have a class History.

Yoni walked with Harry to his class. She wanted to make sure he got there on time. She wouldn't want him to get lost and be late for class. Certainly not on the first day of school.

Once they got to Harry's first class, Yoni gave him a quick hug. She wished him good luck.

When Harry entered his classroom, Yoni turned and walked through the hallways to hers. When she arrived at her classroom, she paused for a moment in the doorway.

In the classroom, near the blackboard, stood the science teacher, Professor Raffalo. He was wearing a white lab coat and a bow tie. He had a pair of glasses with thick black frames on his nose. He has black hair with gray streaks, a mustache and a goatee. He was busy working at the desk at the front side of the classroom.

Yoni entered the classroom. She walked over to him at his desk. When she got closer, he looked up. She gave him her form, which she had to get signed by all her teachers for the day. Once the form was signed, it was returned to her along with the textbook used for this class. Once she had her textbook for class, Yoni turned to the rest of the classroom. She noticed that there weren't many students in the class yet. She suspected that the rest of the class wouldn't come until the bell. At the second worktable on her left, she saw four people sitting. There was also a dog with them, a large dog. She thought it was a bit strange that there was a dog in the classroom. She noticed that the animal looked as if it was going to follow class too. Which was kind of strange. She walked past them to the back of the classroom. She took a seat at the back worktable to her right. She laid out everything that she would need for class.

While waiting for class to start, Yoni had taken out her sketchbook. She started to sketch in it.

~Second worktable on the left~

The five occupants of the worktable watched the other worktable at the back of the classroom. They had never seen her in this class before.

The five occupants were two boys, two girls and a large dog.

"It looks like we have a new classmate." One of the boys said to the other at the worktable.

He was tall and muscular. He had blond hair and a big chin. He was wearing a white sweater over a blue shirt, blue pants, brown shoes and an orange ascot.

"Oh great, I can't wait to meet her and get to know her better. Hopefully, we can become friends." One of the girls excitedly and hopefully.

She was beautiful. She had shoulder-length orange-red hair with soft bangs and lavender eyes. She was wearing pink lipstick and mascara. Her outfit consisted of a long-sleeved purple mini-dress with lighter purple accents, a green scarf, pink tights, a light purple headband and purple Mary Janes with bows.

"Oh Daph, I'm sure you two will become good friends." The blond boy said smiling.

"Oh, you really think so? Thanks Fred." She said shyly.

The other girl took another look at Yoni and said: "I think I've seen her before."

She had a chin-length auburn bob and thick bangs decorated with small red bows. On her nose, she had a pair of thick-framed square glasses. She had green eyes. She also wore mascara and had freckles on her cheeks. She was wearing an orange turtle-neck sweater with the sleeves pushed up halfway, a pleated short red skirt, knee-length orange socks and red shoes. She was the shortest of the gang.

"Like, really Velma? When did you, like, see her?" The other boy asked curiously.

He was lanky and had a shaggy appearance. His dusty blond hair on his chin was not shaved. He wore a lime green V-neck T-shirt and red bell-bottom pants, both of which fit him quite loosely, and black shoes.

"Well, I saw her this summer at my parents' museum." She said thoughtfully.

"Oh, really? Do you know her name too?" The orange-red-haired girl asked excitedly.

"We never introduced each other." Velma said slowly.

Her friend looked dejected at this news.

"Hey, I've an idea." The blond boy, Fred, said. "Let's meet her after class."

"Oh Freddy, what a great idea." She said excitedly and hugged him tightly.

"What do you think, Scoob old pal?" The boy with dusty blond hair asked the big dog next to him.

"Great idea, Shaggy." The animal said in agreement.

This big dog was a brown Great Dane with distinctive black spots. Around his neck, he wore a teal collar with a yellow and teal tag with his initials on it.

"Well gang, that's settled then. We'll meet her after class." Fred said with a big smile.

His friends smiled and nodded in agreement.

All five of them were looking forward to the end of class. They could hardly wait for class to be over.

In the meantime, students entered the classroom and took their seats where they could.

Then the bell rang and the classroom door closed.

Professor Raffalo started with the first Science class of the year. However, he did it with little enthusiasm.

~After class~

The school bell rang again. It signaled the end of class.

Everyone closed their textbooks and started to leave the classroom to go to the next class.

Yoni packed her things back into her shoulder bag, except for the science textbook. She was going to put it in her locker on the way to the next class. Once everything was packed up again, she stood up. She slung her shoulder bag on her shoulder with her science textbook in her arms as she walked between the worktables to the door.

When she came to the worktable with the dog, she was suddenly pushed aside. She stumbled slightly and fell backward. She closed her eyes. She waited for the blow when she would hit the ground. It didn't come. She opened her eyes and looked up. One of the two boys from the table caught her before she hit the ground. She looked up to see who was so rude enough to push her aside abruptly. She saw two boys who were quite muscular. They both wore yellow and purple football uniforms from the school team Fighting Urchins. One was bigger than the other. He had brown hair shoulders and a round nose. The other had orange-red hair. He was thin, pale and had a triangular nose.

"Move over, losers." The one with the orange-red hair and triangular nose said gruffly.

Yoni raised an eyebrow. She was about to say something back, but someone beat her to it.

"Jeepers! Gary! Ethan! Why did you do that?" The orange-haired girl said in shock.

"Jinkies, yeah. You guys could have seriously hurt her if Shaggy hadn't been able to catch her." The other girl with glasses disapprovingly.

"Not cool, dude." The boy with dusty blond hair said as he helped Yoni back up.

"Yeah, not cool." The big dog said approvingly and unexpectedly.

Yoni gave the dog a strange look. She had never heard a dog talk before. Not even in the Wizarding World.

"Hey, come on, guys." The blonde boy stepped in to try and defuse the situation. "I don't think Ethan or Gary would have wanted to knock her over as they walked by. Right, Ethan, Gary?"

His friends looked disapprovingly. They weren't impressed by what he had said. They were also not convinced that this incident was an accident. Rather, it was deliberate.

Yoni looked at the blond boy in a bit of shock. She blinked several times. She found him rather naive.

The two football players looked at the blonde boy with disinterest.

"Pfff, whatever you want, Fred." The boy with brown hair and a round nose said irritably.

The other boy with the triangular nose scowled at them and said menacingly: "Stay away from us, losers."

Then the two boys walked out of the classroom for the next class.

Yoni watched them go and muttered: "Idiots."

'Those two would be great friends for Dudley.' She thought. 'Not that I want that. It would be just like in Surrey with his gang, if Dudley were to meet those two and become friends with them.'

Yoni then turned towards the five friends.

"Thanks for your help." She said gratefully.

"Oh, you don't have to thank us." The orange-haired girl said smiling.

According to Yoni, she seemed to be excited. She could tell that she was trying to suppress this a bit. But why, she didn't know. Not even why she was so excited.

"Yes, we just did what was right. And was also logical." The other girl said. "It wouldn't have turned out so well for you. Especially if Shaggy hadn't caught you, you probably would have been allowed to visit the school nurse."

Yoni grimaced at the thought of having to pay a visit to the school nurse now if she had hit the ground.

"But thanks for the help anyway. Without your help, things might have turned out completely differently." She said smiling.

Then she walked to the door to leave the classroom to go to her next class.

The four friends and the dog watched her walk away. They hurriedly their things and quickly left the classroom to catch up with the new girl. When they entered the hallway, they looked around for her. Finding her wasn't going to be easy.

The hallway was now filled with students making their way to their next class. It was clear that she had blended in with the crowd.

"Zoinks, now we certainly won't find her in this crowd." The boy with dusty blond hair said.

The orange-haired girl looked dejected again now that they had missed their chance to meet the new girl.

"Cheer up, Daph. We'll find her." The blond boy reassured her. "Who knows, maybe she'll be in our next class."

This brought a small smile to her lips.

"Thanks Fred." She said softly.

"I don't think we have to wait for that." The girl with glasses caught their attention. "Look, I think Scooby picked up her scent."

They saw that the dog was sniffing around. He started to follow the new girl's scent.

"Like, well done, Scooby old pale." The boy with dusty blond hair said proudly.

"Come on, let's follow him." The blond boy said.

The dog followed his trusty nose through the crowd of people, looking for the new girl. In turn, he was followed by his four human friends. He led them through the crowd without any trouble until he stopped.

"What is it, Scooby? Why are you stopping?" The orange-haired girl asked.

"Found her." He said pointing his paw to where Yoni was standing.

Upon leaving her science class, Yoni decided to stop by her assigned locker before going to the next class. When she reached her locker, she briefly opened it to put her textbook from the previous class. As she closed her locker, she took another look at her class schedule and map to see which class she had next and where it was being held. The next class was Biology by Dr Rick Yantz.

Yoni was about to leave for the Biology classroom, when she heard someone say loudly: "Hey, wait a minute."

Yoni turned towards where the voice came from. She saw the four friends and their dog walking toward her.

"Is something wrong?" She asked frowning.

"Something wrong? No, there's nothing wrong at all." The orange-haired girl reassured nervously. "Why would there be anything wrong?"

Yoni raised an eyebrow.

"Well, at the end of science, we were planning on doing something. It's just that because of the whole Ethan and Gary thing, we weren't able to do it." The other girl said.

"To do what exactly?" Yoni asked frowning, but curious as well. She was also wary.

"Like, we noticed you were new, like, we really wanted to meet you." The boy with dusty blond hair said a little nervous.

"And maybe we can become friends." The big dog said hopefully.

"If you want, of course." The other boy quickly added.

Yoni blinked several times. She was somewhat surprised to hear this.

"Oh really?" She asked a little surprised.

All five of them agreed that it was really true. They were smiling too.

"Well, why not?" Yoni said shrugging her shoulders and smiling. "My name is Yoni Potter. It's nice to meet you."

Yoni held her hand out to shake. This was grabbed amazingly quickly by the orange-haired girl.

"Oh, so nice to finally meet you, Yoni. My name is Daphne Blake. I hope we'll become good friends." She said very enthusiastically.

Now Yoni had an idea why Daphne was so enthusiastic earlier in the previous class. She was excited to meet her.

"I hope so too, Daphne." Yoni said smiling.

Smiling and with a soft exciting squeal, Daphne let go of Yoni's hand.

"Hi, I'm Fred, Fred Jones Jr. The son of the Mayor of Crystal Cove." The blond boy introduced himself waving.

"Oh hey, Fred. I hope I don't confuse you and another friend also named Fred." Yoni joked a little.

"Do you know anyone else named Fred? So cool!" Fred said eagerly.

This made Yoni smile.

"I'm Velma Dinkley." The girl with glasses said. "I think we met each other once during the summer holidays without introducing ourselves. That was, I believe, in my parents' museum, the Spook Museum."

Yoni pursed her lips slightly as she thought about that. Then she remembered the wicked prank she had pulled on Dudley. She had gotten the help of the museum owners' daughter.

"Ah, yes, that's right. Then we did something together to teach my cousin a lesson." She said with a sly grin. "Thanks again for that."

"Oh, you don't have to thank me." Velma said somewhat dismissively. "I'm glad we did it then."

"Oh, what have you guys done?" Daphne asked curiously.

"That's a long story." Yoni admitted. "Maybe we can explain it during lunch break."

"Mmmm, lunch." The dog and the boy with dusty blond hair breathed longingly.

"Oh, that's Shaggy and Scooby. Best friends since Scooby a puppy was. They also have a bottomless stomach." Daphne introduced them to Yoni.

"Shaggy? " Yoni asked frowning. She wasn't convinced that was his real name. Rather a nickname.

"Yes, we've been calling him Shaggy for a long time. That's his nickname because of his physical appearance. Only his parents, especially his mother, call him by his real name, Norville." Velma clarified briefly.

Upon hearing his real name, Shaggy grimaced.

For Yoni, that was a very clear sight that he didn't like hearing his name at all. She couldn't blame him. She would rather be addressed by a nickname than her real full name.

"Please don't call me Norville, call me Shaggy." Shaggy said almost begging.

Yoni smiled and said: "Sure, why not? I don't think the name Norville suits you at all. a little warning, shaggy means something completely different in Britain than here in America."

Shaggy was glad that his new friend would call him by his nickname. And she certainly didn't like the name Norville.

"So Yoni, what class do you have now?" Velma asked curiously.

"I now have Biology from a certain Dr Yantz." Yoni said.

"Oh, so do we." Daphne said eagerly.

However, her enthusiasm for that class wasn't shared.

Fred made a face, which immediately made it clear to Yoni that he didn't want to go to this class at all. It seemed as if he would rather skip this class. Only she had no idea why.

Shaggy and Scooby didn't really look happy about going to Biology either.

Daphne took Yoni's hand. She started pulling her with her to the next class.

"Come on, let's go to Biology." She said eagerly. "It's this way."

The others followed them closely. They reached the classroom just in time and were each sitting on a bench when the bell rang.

The Biology class had started.

~At the school canteen~

When Biology class was finally over, Yoni and her new friends went to the school canteen for lunch. Expect Shaggy and Scooby to be the ones who rushed out of the classroom when the bell rang to be the first in the canteen.

On the way to the canteen, Yoni thought back to what happened during Biology class. Personally, she thought the teacher Dr Yantz was more of a hippie.

Especially about how he was talking about whether eating more organic food was better or whether eating less or no meat was better. She also had to listen to him go on about environmental pollution and the most polluting company near Crystal Cove, Destroido. She also saw how he would lash out at Shaggy and Scooby when they started eating during class. Their snack happened to be a Destoido product. Now she understood why Shaggy and Scooby didn't like going to Biology. She also found out why Fred didn't like going to class. It wasn't far the same reason as for Shaggy and Scooby. No, his reason was because Dr Yantz was handsome. He was clearly popular with several teenage girls, Daphne being one of them. She got the feeling that she would often roll her eyes during Biology classes. Soon they had reached the canteen.

Yoni briefly got separated from her new friends. She did find her brother in the canteen. She managed to convince him to sit with her and her new friends during lunch break. Together they stood in line to buy their food.

Yoni then led Harry to the table, where her new friends were sitting. She introduced her brother to them and vice versa. She also asked if they wouldn't mind if her brother joined them.

As soon as Yoni and Harry had joined them at the table, Velma and Daphne noticed how Harry suddenly looked tense.

"Are you okay, Harry?" Daphne asked worriedly.

Yoni glanced at her brother. She saw that he was also staring at something very nervously and suspiciously. She followed his gaze and ended up with the dog, Scooby. She could curse herself. She had completely forgotten that, due to a past incident, Harry avoided the company of dogs as much as possible. He was also very suspicious whenever they were near him. She elbowed her brother gently. That's how she got his attention.

"I'm fine." Harry muttered softly.

Only they weren't convinced of that. They looked at Yoni to find out from her what was going on.

"Well, Harry had a bad experience with a relative's dog at a young age. Since then, he has avoided any contact with dogs as much as possible. He becomes very suspicious when a dog is around." Yoni said without revealing too many details.

"Oh, my goodness. That must be awful." Daphne said sympathetically.

"Daphne, just like with people; there are good dogs and bad dogs in the world." Velma said matter-of-factly.

"But still, perhaps that experience could have been avoided." Daphne argued.

"Luckily Scooby is a good dog and my best friend. Maybe he's big and you could easily be knocked over if he jumps into your arms out of fear. Still, he has a pure heart of gold, right Scooby?" Shaggy said passionately about his dog.

"Very true, Shaggy." Scooby said giggling in agreement.

Harry looked at Scooby in shock when he heard the dog talk. He didn't really expect that.

Yoni grinned at his reaction and said: "Very surprising, isn't it?"

"Hey, maybe Harry can be more relaxed and less suspicious around a dog after spending some time with a dog like Scooby." Fred said thoughtfully. "Scooby could certainly help him with that. He is well-behaved and calm, except when he's hungry or when there's food nearby. What do you think?"

"Well, it could work. Especially since Scooby is a certified service dog for such cases." Velma said doubtfully.

Turning her attention back to her brother, Yoni asked: "What do you think, Harry? Would you like to try it? It will be entirely at your pace."

Harry thought about it for a moment. He weighed up the pros and cons of whether he should go for it. Finally, he gave his consent to try it.

This made everyone happy.

Yoni was proud of her brother for wanting to try this. This way he would be able to cope with and overcome his fear and suspicion of dogs.

They then continued eating their lunch so that they could go to the next class on time. During lunch, Yoni and Velma, with Harry's help, talked about what they had been up to at the museum.

~After school~

The final bell rang through the school. It heralded the end of the school day. All the students rushed out of their last class of the day excitedly. They hurriedly left the school building through the double glass door. Everyone wanted to go home as quickly as possible after the first day of school.

Together with her new friends, Yoni walked at a slower pace out of the classroom and through the hallways to the entrance hall. That's where they met up with Harry.

During lunch break, Fred had suggested to Yoni and Harry that he give them a ride back home just like he does for his friends. The Potter siblings accepted the proposal.

Yoni had immediately informed Uncle Vernon via text message saying that she and Harry would be getting a lift from their friends after school. Before the bell rang at the end of the lunch break, they had put Yoni and Harry's schedules on the table to determine which classes they had next. Also to see whether there were any joint classes or classes with one of them. After lunch break, she only had a class with Velma and then they had Physics together at the end of the school day.

During Spanish class, the teacher asked Yoni to take a small test to assess her level and knowledge. She had no objection to this. She took this test, while the rest continued with the planned class material. It didn't take long until she was done and followed along with the others. During an oral exercise, she was paired with Velma. Together they had performed a flawless conversation in Spanish. After that class, the teacher gave Yoni a small homework task so that she could go over the covered material again. Which she didn't mind. It was good to do extra exercises as extra homework. Which turned out to be what Velma did.

After Spanish class, Yoni and Velma rejoined the others for Physics class. During this class, Yoni carefully took notes about the class material and followed along attentively.

When they arrived in the entrance hall of the school, they saw Harry standing by the prize display. He immediately came over to them. Together they went outside.

Yoni and Harry followed their new friends to the famed van, The Mystery Machine. Not far from the entrance of the school building, they stopped briefly in the parking lot.

The van was painted medium blue with a distinctive horizontal green stripe around it. On both sides, it was decorated with two orange flowers. These sides also had a striking green painted panel with 'The Mystery Machine' written on it in orange. On the front of the van, there was a spare wheel holder in green with a large orange flower in the middle. On the roof, there were two roof racks for extra storage space. The wheels were equipped with green wheel covers with an orange flower.

Yoni thought it was a beautiful van. Even striking. Nice colors and cheerful.

"Alright guys, let's get in and go." Fred said cheerfully.

Fred took the driver's seat.

Daphne and Velma took a seat at the front with Fred in the van.

Shaggy opened the double back door of the van. This way he could get into the van from there with Scooby, Yoni and Harry.

Scooby was the first to get in at the back. He turned around to see whether they were following him. He saw that Harry was about to get in when he noticed something. He was a fat blond boy coming towards them. He didn't recognize him, but for some reason, he didn't like him. He came across exactly the same as Gary and Ethan.

"Who's that?" He asked curiously.

"Who, Scooby?" Shaggy asked frowning.

"Behind you." The dog said, pointing with his paw to the subject of his question.

That also attracted the attention of Fred, Daphne and Velma who were inside the van. This caused them to turn around. They looked at where Scooby was pointing at.

Harry glanced over his shoulder.

When Yoni saw that Scooby was pointing at Dudley and him coming towards them, she growled softly in annoyance.

Which was heard by Shaggy.

"You know him." He asked her.

"Unfortunaly, yes. That's our cousin, Dudley. You really don't want to be friends with him." Yoni said irritated. "Harry, get in the van. I'll take care of Dudley."

Then she started to walk towards her cousin. Her friends watched her go. She then stood at a distance from him.

Yoni crossed her arms and asked very annoyed: "What do you want?"

Dudley got a slightly evil grin on his lips.

That was a warning enough for Yoni that he was up to something again, which made her have her guard up.

"What are you two freaks going to with these losers? Oh, you guys are getting a ride?" He said venomously. "In that case, I'll take that ride from you guys. Very nice of you to arrange it for me. I'll ride with these normal people. Even if they're losers. Then you freaks can go home on foot in the meantime."

Yoni glared at him. She clenched her hands into fists. She was used to Dudley calling her and Harry freaks for having magic. She also didn't think it was acceptable that he called people names or bullied others. She couldn't even believe that he had just called her friends losers without even knowing them. She even wondered where he'd gotten that from in the first place. She heard Scooby growl behind her. She took a deep breath to calm down.

"Well, Dudley, I'm afraid you've got it all wrong. Don't worry, dear cousin. It'll all work out just fine. I'll clarify some things for you." Yoni said calmly with a sweet undertone. "Those you just called losers are my friends. One of them offered me and Harry to give us a ride home. That didn't include you. I've already informed your father that he didn't have to come and pick Harry and me up from school. I wasn't sure what you were planning to do. So I couldn't tell him about that. Then I'm afraid you'll have to wait for him to go home. Or maybe one of your new friends here could give you a ride home."

Dudley looked at her dumbfounded. It seemed like there was a short circuit in his head.

Yoni smiled slyly and in satisfaction. She then turned and walked back to the van. She saw that Shaggy was impressed, while Scooby was giggling behind his paw. She noticed her brother was grinning. She could even see Fred, Daphne and Vema's faces when she got closer to the open back door of the van. She could see surprise, wonder, and pride on each of their faces.

Together with Shaggy, Yoni got into the back of the van.

When Shaggy had closed the back door, Yoni asked: "Shall we go?"

Fred turned back to the front and started the engine. He then drove The Mystery Machine out of the parking lot.

"Who was that?" Daphne asked curiously.

"Our cousin, Dudley." Yoni said.

"So it was on him you and Velma have been up to something." Fred said.

"Yep." Velma said grinning.

"Really, wow. Like, how did you, like, handle him so calmly?" Shaggy said in surprise.

"Yeah, wow." Scooby said in agreement.

Yoni smiled and said: "If you've lived with him all your life, then it becomes very simple. Dudley is used to getting everything he wants. He tries to get that from me too. Only it doesn't work. And when I say something to him, I've to talk to him as if I were talking to a toddler or a baby. When confronted with him, you really have to keep a cool head. That is, if that worked. Which is not always the case with him, believe me."

"A baby, that he surely is. A very big baby." Harry added. "It's still cool how you can throw him off with just a few words."

There were chuckles and giggles.

"Is he really that bad?" Daphne asked curiously.

"Oh yes, you better believe it. He should always be able to get his way in everything. If that doesn't happen, then the crocodile tears or tantrums will follow." Yoni said with her arms crossed, leaning her back against the side wall of the van while sitting.

"While at the museum with his parents, Yoni, Harry and another boy, he threw a tantrum in The Broken Spine section. Apparently, he didn't get what was ordered. He started to yell and scream at his parents and mine about it." Velma continued.

"Jeepers! How terrible!" Daphne said in shock.

"Zoinks! Like, I would be like embarrassed." Shaggy said shocked.

"Well Shaggy, when you and Scooby are told that there isn't enough or no food or there is just something that you don't like, you also get a bit dramatic. Only you do it in a funny way. It sounds like if Dudley is being dramatic, it's better to stand back and take cover." Fred said.

"That's true." Shaggy admitted honestly.

"The last time Dudley had reacted this violently was at passport control at Crystal Cove Airport." Harry said thoughtfully.

"Well, I hope for his sake that he quickly outgrow that behavior. Otherwise, I'll make a trap for him with some of my beautiful nets." Fred said eagerly.

Daphne groaned in annoyance. She rolled her eyes as the others laughed.

The rest of the ride went well, with perhaps some delays here and there.

~Dursley House~

Fred had dropped Yoni and Harry off at their house in his van The Mystery Machine. After saying goodbye, he continued to drive the others home.

As soon as Yoni and Harry entered the house, they were immediately welcomed by Aunt Petunia. She asked them how things had been and where Dudley was. To which they replied that it had been fine and that Dudley was on his way with Uncle Vernon or on foot. They had gotten a ride from their friends.

While waiting for dinner and when Uncle Vernon would come home with Dudley, Yoni and Harry took their school bags to their rooms. They already did some studying for the subjects they had today. The extra exercises from Spanish class that Yoni had received were also completed.

Meanwhile, Yoni also did some online classes for Duel Academy. She was also messaging her adoptive brother, Chazz. She told him everything that had happened to her on the first day of school at Crystal Cove High.

A little while later Uncle Vernon and Dudley came home.

Dudley was immediately sent to his room by his parents to study and do his homework, if he had been given any at all. He had to do this until dinner was ready. Which he did with great reluctance.

When dinner was ready, Yoni, Harry and Dudley were called downstairs. Everyone then took a seat at the table. They then started to eat. They ate in silence for a while until it was broken by Aunt Petunia.

"How was your first day at school?" She asked curiously. "Harry?"

"It was good. Nice classes, friendly teachers and classmates." Harry said.

"What about you, Yoni?" Uncle Vernon asked.

"It was a nice day. My Science teacher only seems to have lost his passion and enthusiasm for teaching. And my Biology teacher behaved a bit like a hippie. He often talked about eating more organic food and about environmental pollution." Yoni said. "I've also been able to make a few friends. One of which is a dog, who surprisingly can talk."

"Oh, really? That's something new too." Uncle Vernon said surprised.

Dudley snorted disinterestedly when his mother asked him: "And Dudleykins, how was your first day of school?"

"Those classes were boring." He said annoyed. "Oh, I was also able to make new friends. They are both athletes. They clearly show the other groups that they are the boss. They also let them know when they are dissatisfied."

At this statement, he had a malicious grin on his lips.

Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia looked at each other a little concerned.

Harry started to feel uneasy.

Yoni had a hunch about who Dudley was talking about and asked: "Are your friends by any chance Ethan and Gary? Well, that will be a great friendship. Three idiots together."

"Yeah, but at least thanks to them, I know your friends are losers." He countered triumphantly.

All Yoni did was raise an eyebrow.

"Oh really? Then explain why my friends are, according to yours, 'losers'?" She said calmly with crossed arms.

"Oh, that's simple. They're causing problems for the town, I hear." He said grinning.

"The problems are that they stick their noses into other people's affairs everywhere. Especially when a mysterious monster shows up. You know that the town uses these 'monsters' to attract tourists to make money. Only your friends make sure that doesn't happen with their sleuthing and unmasking these mysterious monsters. This certainly hasn't endeared them here in town. That's why they're considered losers at school." Dudley explained with a triumphant grin.

Yoni looked at him unimpressed. She rolled her eyes. Of course, she had heard from her friends that they solve mysteries together and unmask crooks in monster costumes. She thought it was a good thing that her friends exposed these crooks before they could get away with their crimes. The Sheriff and the Mayor, Fred's father, should rather thank them for exposing these crooks and their crimes. However, she didn't understand why the town simply didn't continue using the mysterious monsters to attract more tourists and generate more revenue. To solve the gang's future mystery, she was going to help her friends.

"I would like to see you when a mysterious monster suddenly appears in front of you." She muttered darkly.

"Actually, they are heroes and not losers, as your friends claim. They expose crooks who use these monster costumes to commit crimes." Yoni said logically.

Dudley looked at her in surprise and his jaw dropped. He tried to say something in return. Only nothing came out.

Everyone continued eating quietly. Aunt Petunia asked Uncle Vernon how his day was at work.

When they had finished eating, Aunt Petunia would clean up the dishes together with the help of Yoni and Harry. While Dudley went to the living room to watch some TV.

Uncle Vernon also went to the living room to relax a little after a long day at the office.

~Later that night~

After the table had been cleared, the leftovers had been put away and the dishes were done, Yoni had gone back upstairs to her room.

In her room, she gave Fellan some leftover meat, which she had managed to sneak away to feed her Kwami.

Fellan was feasting on these scraps of meat.

Harena was snuggling in her basket.

Yoni, with her pajamas in hand, went to the adjacent bathroom. There she undressed and took a shower. After she showered and dried off, she changed into her pajamas and brushed her teeth. She combed her hair once more and then left the bathroom. She took clean clothes out of the closet and put them in the bathroom. She then walked to her desk. She turned off her laptop. She made sure her shoulder bag was ready for the next day at school.

Once she was sure everything was ready for the next day, Yoni turned off the desk lamp and crawled into bed. She lay down. She took her phone from the bedside table, when it went off when she received a text. It was from Fred. During lunch break, she and her new friends had exchanged their phone numbers. She opened the text and read:

Hey Yoni

The gang and I were wondering if you would be interested in riding with us to school tomorrow. Harry is welcome to join us as well.

Fred

Yoni smiled and sent her reply saying that she accepted the invitation to ride with her friends to school the next day and that she would pass on the invitation to her brother. She also said that she would take care of Dudley again if he caused any trouble again the next day. Afterward, she set the alarm on her phone for the next day. Then she put her phone back on the bedside table. She then covered herself with the sheets.

Fellan floated over to his Holder and snuffled on the pillow above her head.

"I'm glad you were able to make friends today. And good friends too. Friends like that aren't easy to find." Fellan said happily.

Yoni smiled and her Kwami continued: "I also really loved how you stood up for your friends in the school parking lot and at the table during dinner."

Yoni chuckled softly and said: "Oh, that's what I thought. To be honest, I kind of enjoyed it too."

"Hahaha, I can't blame you." The Kwami said laughing. "Harry enjoyed it a bit too. Even that new friend of yours – the one with the glasses – enjoyed it too. You certainly amazed your other friends."

Yoni smiled and turned off the lamp on her bedside table. She lay down a little more comfortably and closed her eyes smiling. She had made it through the first school day at Crystal Cove High. She had quickly made friends that day who loved solving mysteries. Which turned out to be fun and interesting for her. She wanted to help them solve the next mysteries. She was already looking forward to day two. She wondered what it would have in store for her, Harry, and her friends.

I hope you enjoyed it.
