Summary: A weird encounter has Leo acting strange and it's up to his teammates to figure out why.

Episode 6
The red shift
Leo waved as the people crowded around him, clapping. "Thank you so much, Trezo," the redheaded woman he'd just saved from a bad fall, "You must let me reward you."
"You're very welcome, ma'am, but you don't have to give me anything," Leo replied, "I'm just glad to help out. It's both part of the job and my pleasure to help anyone in need."
"At least let me give you a little gift," the woman said and reached into her purse. Suddenly, she pulled her hand back out and sneezed, causing some kind of powdery substance to fly into Leo's face. His eyes flashed red and his suit rippled for a moment. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Trezo. Are you alright?"
Leo groaned for a moment as he got a big headache then shook it off and gave the woman a wink and grin. "I'm fine, but I've got to be going," he replied, "See you around." She nodded and he portal shifted away.

Leo was a little surprised he could smell something good when he portal shifted into his room. He headed out into the kitchen and couldn't help but chuckle when he found Kendrix there, singing to something that was playing on her phone as she danced around cooking something.
Leo couldn't help but clap as the song died and Kendrix spun around. "Shit, you startled me," she said, "Aw, I was hoping to surprise you with lunch here instead of the Comet Café today. No offense to Amanda and her staff there of course, but nothing beats a meal you prepare yourself."
"I doubt she'd be offended as she'd probably agree with you," Leo said, not being able to take his eyes off Kendrix's ass as another song started playing and she continued to dance as she turned back to the food. He'd couldn't help but wondering what kind of panties she was wearing.
Making sure she wasn't paying attention, Leo briefly turned on his X-ray vision and wasn't too surprised to find Kendrix had on a pair of pink lacy panties though he was surprised they were so sheer he didn't even need to narrow his eyes to see through them.
Leo turned off the vision power and stepped up behind Kendrix, wrapping his arms around her and kissing her neck. "Leo!" she said and gently slapped his arm, "If you want to eat, don't distract me like that!" She couldn't help but moan as his lips found a particularly sensitive spot on her neck.
"Who says I was hungry for food?" Leo teased softly. He spun Kendrix around, pulled her over to a spot on the counter nearby, picked her up effortlessly but gently as possible, and plopped her down on the counter before kissing her.
"Mm, mm, Leo, stop!" Kendrix said. Leo had been playful like this before, but this seemed to be on a whole other level. "At least let me turn off the stove or the food will burn."
Leo nodded and pulled back for a moment so Kendrix could reach over and turn the knobs for the stove eyes. He typed a few commands into his watch's holographic keyboard while she did so.
As soon as she turned her attention back to her boyfriend, Kendrix squeaked as Leo's lips descended hungrily on hers again. He tugged on the hem of her uniform shirt while looking at her, quietly asking for permission.
After hesitating for a moment, Kendrix nodded and her shirt was quickly discarded followed by her pants, leaving her sitting there with just a bra and panties on, looking very nervous.
Leo let it fall down near his feet and Kendrix couldn't help but feel shy, which was silly really as he'd seen her almost completely naked just a few feet away not that many weeks ago.
Leo quickly took his own shirt off and it joined Kendrix's on the floor and she couldn't help but run her hands over his well-toned torso. She hadn't been able to do this his first night on Terra Venture when they'd almost made love as they'd stopped before he could take off anything.
"You're so beautiful," Leo murmured then tentatively reached out but stopped and looked up at Kendrix questioningly again. She bit her lip and nodded before he reached out and cupped her breasts through her bra. He had to be very gentle as he didn't even have Blue Kryptonite Mode on.
"We should stop," Kendrix said softly with a moan at Leo touching her breasts, though her heart wasn't in it as she wanted him with every fiber of her being. "I mean, Amanda might walk in on us or one of the others could portal in." She gasped when he started kissing her neck.
Ever since Leo had been revealed as Trezo to the rest of the team during the fight with Doomsday, their teammates would often portal directly in instead of knocking at the door, though they did usually give warning. She hadn't only because she'd wanted to surprise him with a home cooked meal.
"Mom has a double shift today and I put a null field down on the apartment so the other Rangers can't portal in directly, so we'll have a little warning," Leo explained. He started kissing his way down Kendrix's face and neck and she moaned again.
It was when Leo started reaching around Kendrix to try to unfasten her bra that she snapped out of it. "No, stop," she said. She tried pushing him away, but he didn't budge. "Leo, please stop! I can't do this, not here. What about your promise to Amanda and Mike?"
Kendrix was a little surprised when Leo growled as he reluctantly pulled away. "You're right," he said, "I'm sorry." He reached down and grabbed their tops and her pants as she hopped down off the counter, took her clothes, and slid it back on as he did the same with his. He dropped the null field.
"It's all right, we just got a little carried away," Kendrix said.
"I'm gonna head up to Shedquarters and hit the heavy bag," Leo said, "Call me when lunch is done, please."
Kendrix nodded and Leo portal shifted away. When he was gone, she let out a big sigh of relief. She had been very close to giving in to Leo. 'Might be a good idea to run home and change before I continue cooking,' she thought with a grin.
Leo had nearly made Kendrix cum just by touching and kissing her like he had. She couldn't help but shiver with delight thinking about what she'd feel when they made love. But she knew today would've been a mistake. She made sure everything was off before she portaled out to her apartment.

Leo was surprised once again when he heard grunting when he got to Shedquarters and even more to find Maya had beaten him to it as she was really unloading on the heavy bag.
"Whoa there, Maya," Leo said, putting his hand on Maya's shoulder. "I don't know what the poor bag did to deserve that beating, but do you want to talk about what's bothering you?" She generally wasn't this aggressive unless she was frustrated about something.
Maya couldn't help but laugh at Leo being silly. "It's Johnny," she admitted.
"I thought you two have been doing all right," Leo said.
"We are, but…" Maya said then hesitated, biting her lip. "We were kissing earlier… well, a little more than kissing. Nothing without clothes but we were probably well on our way to shedding them." She couldn't help but blush at that admission.
"He suddenly couldn't… continue and left before I could even say anything," Maya admitted, "It wasn't the first time either so to say it's frustrating is a huge understatement."
Leo nodded. After what happened downstairs, he could definitely sympathize with Maya's plight as he was still quite "excited". He felt a weird sensation in his eyes causing him to close them for a second, so she didn't see his eyes flash red for a moment.
"Are you alright?" Maya asked, stepping closer.
Leo couldn't help but notice just how well Maya's sparring outfit accentuated her already voluptuous curves and couldn't help but feel more than a little envious of Johnny. "I'm fine," he replied, "It's just… Kendrix and I just had a similar moment of our own down in the kitchen and I'm still a little… excited."
Maya looked puzzled for a moment then she couldn't help but look down briefly at the bulge in Leo's pants before looking away, blushing furiously again. He couldn't help but think she was even prettier when she was embarrassed.
Unbeknownst to Leo, Maya was having similar thoughts. She didn't want to admit it, even to herself, but while hers and Johnny's relationship was going really well, the encounter earlier notwithstanding, and Kendrix was her best friend, she was harboring a huge crush on the young Kryptonian, especially upon finding out he was Trezo.
Maya still yet to talk with Leo or Johnny about what she and Lobo had talked about, mostly because she was so embarrassed to even think about admitting such a thing to anyone. Even Kendrix had no clue.
"I need to go hit the shower but thanks for listening, Leo," Maya said to break up the awkward silence.
"Hey, I'm always here to listen to you, Maya," Leo said, "I know exactly what it's like to lose your planet and your people. Just know we'll find a way to restore Mirinoi and your people somehow, no matter what it takes or how long it takes. I just wish it was that easy with Krypton."
Maya smiled at that. Johnny had promised her that on a few occasions, but it was always wonderful to hear it. "Thanks," she said, giving Leo a kiss on the cheek before grabbing her clothes and a few shower supplies before heading to the shower area. Several minutes later, his eyes flashed red again for a moment and with a sly grin, he followed her.

As the warm water washed over her body, Maya's eyes were closed as she couldn't help but think of Leo. She'd seen him in his sparring outfit before and it often got her quite excited so she couldn't resist thinking about him in it at this moment. 'Maybe I should turn off the hot water,' she mused with a smile.
Just as Maya was reaching down below her waist, a voice called out "Privacy screens, mid-room". She spun around to see Leo with just a towel on and covering his eyes before he got behind some privacy screens.
"Leo, you could've waited!" Maya exclaimed, horrified over thinking what Leo might've seen though she was very tempted to move just a little to the right when she saw him toss the towel on top of the screen. She turned off the water for the moment then walked over and put hers next to it.
"I'm sorry, Maya, but even the nanites take forever to cycle contaminants out of the water, the water heater takes even longer, and I frankly needed a shower about as badly as you do as I've been patrolling all morning," Leo reasoned.
"Besides, I made the shower room this big on purpose just in case 2 or more of us need to use it at once," Leo said, "You don't have to worry as I didn't see anything coming in here, can't with the screen up, and I promise I won't use my X-ray vision or any other way of looking."
Maya sighed with frustration but nodded. After all, this was supposed to be Leo's private space and he was being awesome letting them also use Shedquarters as their base, so who was she to say he shouldn't be in here with her as long as he couldn't see her nude?
'Besides, I'd give almost anything to lower those screens and who was just about to start masturbating to the thought of him before he came in?' Maya thought with a blush as she headed back over to the shower head she was using.
"You okay over there, Maya?" Leo asked over his shoulder, curious as he hadn't heard the water resume running yet.
The question caught Maya by surprise. "Um, yeah," she said.
"Need me to wash your back?" Leo asked. Maya couldn't quite tell if he was joking or not until he laughed. "Sorry, it's kind of an old joke among Earth-borns when they're sharing a shower room like this."
Maya bit her lip as she reluctantly turned around and stepped back up to the privacy screens. She really shouldn't as she was happy with Johnny and Leo even more so with Kendrix, who was her best friend, but she just had to quell her curiosity on just what he looked like naked.
Maya moved right up against the privacy screens and slowly moved her head over to subtly peek around and her jaw dropped as she took in Leo's nude form. It was just as she'd dreamed.
Maya had to duck her head back around, so she didn't quite get to see everything, but enough that she had to groan from the tingling in certain parts of her body as she leaned back against the privacy screen.
Maya heard Leo say something but couldn't make out what it was but before she could ask, the privacy screen disappeared and the only thing that kept her from falling was him catching her.
"You didn't have to sneak a look, you know?" Leo teased, "I wouldn't have minded if you just look as long you don't mind if I do the same." Maya blushed furiously, especially when she turned and found herself with quite the view. He was the one to blush when she noticed his erection at the exquisite view he had.
"You know, as much as I like Johnny, I have to say it's his loss about what happened with you two," Leo said, stepping closer. Maya was biting her lip, waiting with bated breath as he leaned forward, nervous at his closeness. Her eyes fluttered closed as she felt his breath on her lips as he added "Or should I say… my gain?" softly.
With that, their lips met and Maya let out a squeak, which Leo was well aware meant she was very excited. Something in the back of his mind was trying to get him to stop this. 'But why?' he thought, 'Kendrix isn't wanting any of this and Maya seems to be very receptive after getting shut out by Marshak.'
Leo pulled Maya close, kissing her for all he was worth. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he lowered himself to his knees and gently put her down on the floor in front of him.
Like Kendrix did earlier, Maya couldn't help but run her hands over Leo's torso and allowed him free reign to explore hers with his hands, starting with her breasts. Somewhere between his girlfriend's and Angie's, they also fit in his hands very well.
Leo was leaning down to see how well Maya's nipples fit in his mouth when he suddenly heard a gasp behind him and saw his prospective lover's eyes go wide. He turned to find Kendrix glaring down at them, tears streaming down her face, before she opened a portal and stormed out.
Maya quickly got up, looking very pale. "Oh God, what have I done?" she asked. She scrambled back to her feet, grabbed her clothes, and portaled out before Leo could do or say anything.
"Shit," Leo muttered. Without thinking, he put a null field down. No one was coming in or out without getting hold of Cyborg, not even Kendrix even if she was so inclined. With that done, he put on Blue Kryptonite mode and took some blood. He knew something was causing him to act strangely and hoped that would have some answers.
However, while his computers were running his blood analysis, Leo's head began throbbing and his eyes flashed red. "Come to me," a soft, seductive voice called to him suddenly in his mind and a specific rooftop appeared in his mind. With that, he deactivated BK mode and portal shifted out.

Kendrix was sobbing as she exited the portal back to her apartment. 'How can Leo and Maya do that to me?' she raged internally, 'I've been nothing but a faithful girlfriend to him and loyal best friend to both.'
Kendrix's head snapped up when a portal opened a few feet away but sighed when she saw it was just Johnny. "Hey, Kendrix, have you seen… whoa, what's wrong?" he asked when he saw she was crying.
Glad to have someone to talk to, Kendrix flung herself into Johnny's arms and everything spilled out, from Leo's odd behavior to finding him and Maya about to go at it in Shedquarters bath suite. "That can't be right," he said, "Maya and Leo wouldn't do that to either of us."
"I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't caught them," Kendrix said. Now that she got it off her chest, she was a little less panicked and her mind was fully working. "Please believe me."
"Don't worry, I do," Johnny said, "I'm just trying to wrap my head around this. Did Leo give off any clue when you 2 were making out in his kitchen?"
Kendrix started to shake her head but stopped. "Wait, there was a weird rippling over his body for a split second and…" She let out a growl of frustration when her phone went off and connected the call. "If this is you, Leo, I swear I'm gonna…"
"Are you alone or at least somewhere where you can be, Pink Galaxy Ranger?" came the voice of Cyborg.
"Yeah, I am, Cyborg," Kendrix said. That got Johnny's attention. "Here, let me put you on speakerphone as I'm with Red Galaxy Ranger." With that, she pushed the button on her phone and Vic's voice came through loud and clear. "We read you, Cyborg. What's going on?"
"I just came across a blood analysis being run at Shedquarters that I recognized as Trezo's," Cyborg explained, "Are you there with him as well?"
"I… no, I'm not," Kendrix said, not wanting to go into specifics. She'd talked to Cyborg on a few occasions since Leo had introduced them over a video call at Shedquarters and considered him a friend but not that close of one. "Why, what did it show?"
"There are high amounts of pheromones running through his body, laced with what looks to be Kryptonite of an unknown type," Cyborg said.
"Shit, that might explain how he's been acting today, but I thought his suit keeps out Kryptonite," Kendrix said.
"Only known types but there could be any number that we haven't come across yet," Cyborg said, "Mixing them with powder-based pheromones also might've bypassed the nanite filter. The pheromones seem to be plant based, which would point to…"
"Poison Ivy," Johnny interjected in unison with Cyborg.
"Wait, her real name's Pamela Isley, right?" Kendrix asked. Johnny nodded. "She heads up my main botanical research team. She promised she was on the up and up and I have had no reason to question it until now."
"How did someone as potentially dangerous as her get on Terra Venture, even if she is rehabilitated?" Johnny asked.
"Batman told me he allowed a good number of rehabilitated criminals onboard though they're all supposed to be strictly monitored at all times," Cyborg answered.
"Yeah, Pamela's told me she has guards on her at all times when she's not in her apartment and a tracker made for her specific biochemistry on top of that," Kendrix added. She was actually the one that'd come up with the tracker not long before her Mom died and was handsomely paid for it.
"We need to talk to her if not confront her," Johnny said, "Is she at work?"
"Just a sec and I'll see," Kendrix said, activating her watch's virtual keyboard and typing into it furiously for a few minutes before she nodded. "Yeah, records show she just clocked in. Hold on just a second while we morph, Cyborg."
"Go Galactic!" Kendrix and Johnny exclaimed together and were morphed minutes later. She'd put her phone in her pocket, so now it was broken up and part of of her nanite gear.
Kendrix typed into her watch more and a second later, the call was connected with her helmet's frequency. "You read me?" she asked.
"You're coming in loud and clear," Cyborg replied.
"We're about to portal to my office, so please have the others on standby," Kendrix said, "Do you know if Trezo's still in Shedquarters?"
"He's got me locked out and he put a null field down, so there's no way to tell for sure," Cyborg said, "Be careful confronting Ivy if we're right as he might be with her and there's no telling what he could do under her power."
"Don't worry, I know Trezo would never hurt me," Kendrix said.
"I hope you're right, but you still need to be careful," Johnny said, "If it's anything like when that bitch Silver Banshee controlled me, even Trezo might not be able to control himself.
'Me too,' Kendrix couldn't help but think. With that, she cut the call, promising to give Cyborg a heads up, and opened a portal that her and Johnny quickly stepped through to find the other members of the team waiting. Maya couldn't bring herself to look at either of them, hanging her head.
The security guards then showed the Rangers to the workspace of a beautiful redhead, who looked startled to see them. "Um, can I help you, Galaxy Rangers, Green Lantern?" she asked.
"We're here because you're the lead suspect in an investigation," Johnny answered, "At some point today, someone used a powdery type of pheromone mixed in with an unknown type of Kryptonite on Trezo, so we would like to know your whereabouts if you wouldn't mind?"
Pamela sighed. "Anything to help," she said, "I was eating lunch with a friend at the Comet Cafe before coming to work. Her name is Lillian and I can give you her number to corroborate if you need it."
"Please and what time frame were you at the Comet Café, ma'am?" Johnny asked as Kendrix, Kai, and Th'm's portaled to the Comet Café to see if Pamela's story could be corroborated.
"From noon to about… 30 minutes ago, I think," Pamela said, "Look, if this is about my past MO being like this, I can assure you I've left that life even before Terra Venture launched."
"I'm sure you have, but we have to track down leads," Johnny said. A few minutes later, Kendrix gave him an affirmative and he nodded. "Well, Pink and Yellow said you're good, so I'm sorry to have bothered you, Ms. Isley."
"It's no problem given the situation and if you'll give me a sample of his blood or the pheromone mix, I'll see what I can do to counteract it," Pamela promised, "I owe Trezo as he helped me get this opportunity to turn my life around, so I'd like to help him."
"I appreciate the offer and I know he will too, but we don't actually have a sample of either as Trezo took it himself and had the computer at our headquarters analyze it, catching the attention of Cyborg back on Earth," Johnny explained.
"Please let me help first chance you get," Pamela said. Johnny nodded before him and the rest of the team portaled out. As soon as they were gone, her eyes narrowed. "Damn it, Lillian, what have you done?" she whispered.

Leo zipped through the city, trying to track down where the mysterious voice was coming from. He eventually found them on a rooftop, where he was surprised to find a beautiful redhead waiting for him. He recognized her as the woman he'd helped earlier.
"Welcome, Trezo," the woman greeted Leo, walking up to him. "I am Lillian, your future." He was suddenly compelled to lean towards the woman, but before they could kiss…
"STOP RIGHT THERE!"

Johnny, Maya, and Damon portaled to where the others were, at which point they decided to fly around the city on some new vehicles Damon had made that he called Jet Jammers. They decided to pair off, with Kendrix going with Th'm's.
Before they could get in their Jet Jammers, Maya went up to Johnny. "Red, I'm so sorry," she said.
"We'll talk later," Johnny said a little abruptly, though Maya couldn't blame him given the circumstances. She nodded, hanging her head again. He sighed. "I'm sorry, Yellow. I shouldn't have reacted like that, but why? I thought we were happy."
"We are and I can't explain it," Maya said, "We were in the shower room, a privacy screen between us at first, but I couldn't help but be curious, so I peeked." She blushed at that admittance. Johnny nodded. He couldn't fault her curiosity.
"Trezo then took away the privacy screen that I was leaning against to peek around it and caught me before I could fall," Maya said, "He said something like I didn't need to sneak a peek, that he didn't mind if I looked as long as I didn't mind if he did the same.
"As we stood there taking each other in, something in me… shifted, for lack of a better term," Maya said, "Before I knew it, he kissed me and everything just happened so fast that I didn't have time to think."
"Could it have been the pheromones he's been hit with?" Damon asked.
"Wouldn't Pink have been affected by them?" Johnny asked.
"Maybe, but not as much as me," Maya said as something occurred to her, "I'm nearing my… um, fertility cycle and my people's biology involves pheromones and we're susceptible for a while before as my body adapts to changes to accommodate my fertility cycle."
"We'll test your blood when we can get into Shedquarters but for now, please just give me space," Johnny said, wanting to steer away from the thought that Maya had almost cheated on him with another one of his closest friends.
Maya sighed with relief as they jumped in their Jet Jammers and flew off to view the city from above. Johnny was still pissed but still willing to give her the benefit of the doubt for now.
However, there was one thing Maya didn't mention. For the pheromones to have worked, she had to have a very strong attraction to Trezo and vice versa. She liked to think it was just because of the situation, them seeing each other nude, but she had to admit it might go further than that.
It didn't take long for the others to join them. Maya could tell Kendrix was pissed at her as well, though she was also worried about Leo. She thought it best not to say anything. It took them a while find him on the rooftop with 2, seemingly twin redheads.

"Lillian, this has to stop!" Poison Ivy said as she used vines to bring her up to the roof just in time to see Trezo about to kiss Lillian. She moved towards them and Trezo stepped between them. "You're being manipulated, Trezo."
"And just who did I learn it from, dear 'sister'?" Lillian spat.
Trezo's brow furrowed. "Sister?" he asked. He remembered Poison Ivy putting in for a +1 when him and Mike helped her through the selection committee process, but this was news to him and he'd known her for years.
"Not exactly a sister, more like a clone," Poison Ivy admitted, "I became able to make them about a year ago, but most didn't last long. I don't know why, but Lillian has been stable since."
"Well, physically stable," Lillian said with a grin, "My body is starting to break down and I just wanted a real man to love me before I come apart like the others, so I used your old research to ensnare Superman and modified it to work on Trezo.
Poison Ivy winced. They had a mental link, so she could tell something has altered her clone mentally and that she was slowly coming apart. "Lillian, listen to me," she said, "I don't know why you're doing this, but it has to stop.
"I gave up on that research for a reason," Poison Ivy added, "It's wrong to do this to anybody, much less someone that's done as much for us as Trezo has, when no one else would even think about it. Please stop this and I know between us, him and I can stabilize your body permanently."
"You can?" Lillian asked.
"If its possible, certainly," Leo said.
"And I'll help," Kendrix said.
Lillian smiled at that. She knew through her link with Ivy that Kendrix was even better at Botany than they could ever dream. "Thank you and I'm sorry, Trezo, Galaxy Rangers, and sis," she said.
"Can you reverse what you did to Trezo?" Kendrix asked.
"Probably not as I didn't get that far into my research," Poison Ivy said. Lillian confirmed that with a shake of her head.
"Then I'll have to leave for a while," Leo said, "I must be isolated from any and all little distractions while I go into a meditative coma to purge this out of my system." With that, he turned to Kendrix. "Before I go, I'm so sorry what I almost did. You too, Yellow."
"It hurts, but it helps I know you weren't in control of your actions, so we're good," Kendrix said.
Maya nodded. "Before you go though, can you drop the null field thing on Shedquarters?" she asked, "Long story short, my part in that debacle might not have been in my control either and we need to find out."
"Of course," Leo said. He activated his watch and quickly punched in a few commands. "Null field is dropped, so good luck." With that, he pulled Kendrix into a kiss before portal shifting away.
"I know his systems well enough that I'll start looking into how we can do this, but it'll just take time," Kendrix promised Ivy and Lillian, who nodded. They opened a portal to the former's apartment and the Galaxy Rangers and Th'm's headed for Shedquarters.
Once there, the team powered down. "Kendrix, I…" Maya began not being able to look her best friend and roommate in the eye.
"Come on and I'll draw some blood," Kendrix said a little coldly.
"Kendrix, it might not be her fault anymore than Trezo's," Johnny interjected.
"I know," Kendrix said. She'd been the one to help Maya figure out a few things about how Mirinoian biology was different. She sighed. "I'm sorry, Maya, but I just need time."
Maya nodded. "At least you're not wanting to slap me," she said.
Kendrix couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Don't worry, I'd never do that to anybody, no matter how pissed I was at them," she replied.
"Did the pheromones affect you any?" Maya asked.
"Now that I think about it, yeah as I was definitely wanting to jump Leo's bones," Kendrix admitted, "I, uh, actually had to change go back to our place to change after Leo and I made out." The pointed look she gave Maya had her chuckling.
It didn't take long before they cleared Maya as she had a good number of pheromones in her system. Kai and Damon headed out but she asked Kendrix and Johnny to stay behind. "I hope you don't hate me for this, but the pheromones weren't the only reason my encounter with Trezo happened," she began.
"I've had a big crush as Earthborns say on Trezo since I met him on Mirinoi and even one on Leo before I knew they were the same guy," Maya continued, "Don't get me wrong, it's just a crush while I love you, Johnny.
"However, while I hate to admit it, I was attracted to Leo, which is what the pheromones played on," Maya added, "It didn't exactly help that we were both nude at the time."
Kendrix sighed. "It's all right, Maya," she said, "If I was going to be mad at you for being attracted to Leo, I'd have to be pissed at a lot of women and men here and back on Earth. The reason it was brought out was the pheromones, which was definitely not your fault."
Maya nodded, visibly relieved, before she turned to Johnny. "Johnny?" she asked quietly.
"I love you too, beautiful," Johnny said, "As long as this doesn't happen again, we're good."
"I can promise you it won't," Maya said, "About my upcoming fertility cycle… do you want kids now? I can isolate myself if you think it's too early. It comes around every 15 Earthen months, so I don't mind if you want to wait."
"I'd love to have kids with you, but how long until you start?" Johnny asked.
"About 2 months I think," Maya replied, "I'm not sure as I'm still getting used to the Earthen calendar."
"I'll be looking forward to it," Johnny said then pulled Maya towards him for a kiss.

"General Furio, we have received word that Trezo is once again no longer aboard Terra Venture," one of Furio's underlings told him.
Furio's mouth turned upwards into a wide smile. "That's very good news," he said, "I've been going about this all wrong. Maybe a strong offense isn't the best strategy. Maybe something more… covert would work better. Get me Mutantrum!"

Notes: Sorry that this seems to be a little repetitive of The haunting screech. I'd originally planned on Leo going on a Red Kryptonite powered rampage, probably with "Tracy" making an appearance instead of Lillian. However, let's just say it would've been too much like another story on ff dot net, so I changed it to this.
Besides, I also wanted to bring in Poison Ivy as a coworker of Kendrix's and this seemed the best time to do it. I promise to at least try avoiding repetition from now on.
