When SunTzu opened his eyes again Rei was sitting next to his bed her head was leaned over, she slept with her head next to his stomach.
She had detransformed and wasn't wearing her bloodstained Sailor Outfit anymore.
Setsuna and Hotaru weren't in the room but at least someone had put a blanket around Rei's shoulder.
Thinking about shoulders SunTzu noticed that he didn't even feel much pain, only slight sore muscles.
He also felt everything in his arm again and he was more than relieved to be able to move his arm, fingers and shoulder again.
His moving woke up Rei.
She suspired as she sat up, eyes still closed, but she began to smile when SunTzu took her hand.
"How are you?" She said as she opened her eyes and began to caress her boyfriend's hand with her other hand.
"If I wouldn't know, I'd say better than before. Setsuna performed another miracle on me, I can feel and move everything, my whole arm again."
Rei's smile widened even more before she leaned down and kissed him gently on the lips.
Her head stayed close to his face.
"Thanks for rescuing us Rei. We would probably wouldn't have made it out without you two."
Rei sighed and turned her head around theatrically with rolling eyes and a sigh.
"And I wanted to give you the crap on of a lifetime but right now I'm just happy that you're well again." She looked at him again.
"You got me pretty worried for a moment back there."
"I don't know, what I was thinking. This whole thing should have been different. But I wanted to do it. On my own. It was something personal for me."
"Yeah. Good thing that Hotaru and the Koronians look out for you. And that her mother and your girlfriend came to the rescue. But I do understand you, the incident with Maria, the whole racism thing." She paused for a moment.
"I wish people would be a bit more tolerant here as well. And this includes my grandfather."
"It probably got me carried away. I'm sorry, I fucked up. Once again. I should protect you not the other way around. I already told that Setsuna. At least I think so, that morphine sure was potent. Anyways, I am sorry. I am sorry that I put you all into danger."
Rei took his hand in both hers and squeezed it.
"SunTzu listen, you saved me and the others countless times. It's just fair if we return the favor once. And, I don't know if you remember this, the mission was successful. Even more, me and Hotaru went into the bunker to Usagi and told her what happened. She seemed a bit shocked after seeing my Fuku with my boyfriend's blood all over it. She met with the Japanese Prime Minister and the Defense Minister last night still. After telling him, that we're ready to nuke Sapporo and Osaka as well as bombard executive buildings in Tokyo if they don't get their shit together and keep an closer eye of their troops. You should have seen here, she talked with Maria before she left and after that she probably would have messed up that air base alone as well." Rei giggled in amusement. "I love it when she get's serious and really behaves like a Queen. Anyways, she made it clear that we are an sovereign nation and will defend ourselves accordingly, even if the aggressor is from Japan."
"Good. I don't what I would have done if someone of you got hurt… or worse."
Rei squeezed his hand again.
"Bloodcrazed when it comes to racists or not, please never change your ways. And always stay protecting us." She kissed his forehead and got up.
"I'll get a doctor to see you and then we go home, okay?"
SunTzu nodded and waved with two fingers.
Inside he felt horrible, his ruthless behavior almost had killed Hotaru. In this moment SunTzu felt more useless and weak than ever before.
A few minutes later, SunTzu being left alone with his dark thoughts and staring at the med bay room's ceiling, the door opened and Setsuna entered the room, closely followed by Minako, who was also wearing a doctor's coat, and Hotaru.
Hotaru was smiling relieved but looking at her stung in SunTzu's chest.
"Hey Girls." The Pilot said, forcing a smile.
"How are you SunTzu?" Setsuna asked leaned down to inspect the wound on the topless pilot.
"I just told Rei, that i feel better than before. That Bacta foam is great, I can move everything again. I don't even feel pain."
Setsuna examined the arm and shoulder and did a few movement tests.
"Seems you're right, you should be fit for duty. You're making quite the good Guinea Pig, Captain." Setsuna said with a smile and then giggled. "Although you're quite talkative when you're on morphine."
SunTzu blushed and Rei raised an eyebrow, while Minako and Hotaru both looked at her curiously.
Setsuna hold up her hands and waved them defensively.
"No, not what you guys think. I guess he already talked with Rei what was bothering him."
"He did. And I think I could tell him that there's no reason to be feeling bad."
They squeezed each other's hands and briefly looked eyes.
"Talking with Rei helped me but if you guys would give me a minute alone with Hotaru, I wouldn't mind."
"Uhm… sure." The women looked at each other and after a small Kiss Rei got up and they left, Setsuna leading Minako out with her heads on the younger woman's shoulder.
Hotaru sat down next to SunTzu.
"So, what's up? What do you want to talk about?"
"I was thinking about yesterday. My plan was stupid but allowing you, Phobos and Deimos to come along. Without you girls I wouldn't have survived. And without your Mom and Rei we wouldn't have made it either. All of you were protecting me and not the other way around as it should it have been. And I'm beginning to think that I'm not a good association for you."
"Oh, because you were a driving force behind me becoming a pilot and officer? Because you'll always protect me? And the other Senshi as well? Either way I would have been on that mission, only that I did it this time without being ordered too but on my own terms."
The teenager got up.
"I'm not a kid anymore you know, I know what I'm doing and which risks I'm taking."
And then she leaned down and gave him a hug.
"Stop thinking about stupid stuff. Especially when everything worked out just fine. And thanks for taking care of me and the others."
SunTzu had to smile, even though it was just a wry smile.
"How about breakfast? Aren't you starving? I for sure am." Hotaru said.
Hotaru, Rei, Setsuna and SunTzu went over to the dining hall, Minako stayed back at the med bay as she was on duty.
On the way there SunTzu and Rei as well noticed how hungry they were. And how long their night has been.
While they were eating Ami, apparently also having had a long night as well, joined them.
"Good Morning. Glad to see you're good again SunTzu."
"Good Morning Ami. Let me guess, you haven't been home yet."
"I haven't, as most of the forces and Intelligence Service. The exercise or rather alarm was ended just after the Queen came back with her meeting from the Prime Minister. That's why it is so empty now."
"I see. Does that mean I can go home without having to worry that we get annexed?"
"I suppose so. I'll stay here and dig through some data. The government of Japan agreed to share data and sent them over as soon as they have them. Usagi really made her points clear. By the way Rei, your dad will call me later about the investigation as well. Shall I tell him something from you?"
Maybe that my boyfriend almost died because he and his government don't do their job right?
"No Ami, not necessary. But thank you." Rei answered.
"Okay." Ami said.
"Me and SunTzu will go home after eating, so if he wants anything I'm not available for the time being."
Setsuna looked at Hotaru.
"We'll go home as well. And I won't let you out of sight in the next time, young lady."
"Mooom!"
Setsuna took Rei and SunTzu with them to the later's place before she and Hotaru went home themselves.
The couple enjoyed the day together. Rei basically was glued to SunTzu. She wouldn't have said it, but she had been worried immensely about him yesterday night. SunTzu could still feel her uneasiness and did the best to cater for her and make her feel better.
In the evening she left for the Shrine.
"I still have to have a serious talk with two certain young women, slash crows."
"Tell them my thanks again. For saving me. And my apologies for bringing them into danger."
"They're adults Babe. And it's not the first time they do stuff like that. And they usually take more care and take less risks than a certain Knight of Crystal Tokyo. But that doesn't mean they just can sneak out and do risky missions without telling anyone."
She booped his nose.
"By the way, thanks for the flowers yesterday. They were lovely. And they were the main reason I knew something was wrong. Next time you come to me and talk to me directly. Top Secret or what not."
"I will."
"Good, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Rei?"
The raven haired looked at him and he continued.
"You're the best. I love you."
"And I love you TopGun. Even if you probably will never stop doing stupid stuff."
The couple kissed passionately and then she left.
Later that night Ami sent him a message, encrypted of course. And it just stated to see her tomorrow morning 9am.
Next morning, after the usual morning run and sport SunTzu got back in uniform and made his way over to the Headquarter Building and the Intelligence Wing and into Ami's office.
"Good morning Ami, you requested me?"
"Good Morning SunTzu and thanks for coming. How is the shoulder?"
"Like nothing ever happened." He paused for a moment. "But I guess not being able to do my task as I should gnaws at me."
"I heard about that. And I'm pretty sure that you heard how wrong you are already. I rather let you know something else so that you know that you did the right thing."
"I'm excited to hear about that."
"Just before you guys started your attack the General got a call from Coruscant, a sponsor. And he encouraged the General to attack even faster and more aggressive."
"I see. So apart from my shitty planning at least my timing was right."
"And if that and saving the kingdom and probably hundreds of it's innocent people still isn't enough to cheer you up, than maybe the outlook that you and your girlfriend are joining me for a mission to Coruscant again."
"Is that so?"
"Yup, we're going to catch that bastards that pays others to kill inhabitants of Crystal Tokyo. I'm already on the planning. Rei doesn't know yet, so maybe you tell her. I'll get back to you as soon as I'm done with planning and brief you."
"Alright, I'll wanted to have breakfast with Rei anyway. I guess you'll eat here again?"
"I already asked the dining hall to pack me a few sandwiches. You know, that I have to get this mission planning done."
"Some things never change."
Both smiled at each other before SunTzu got up.
The pilot was halfway out the door when Ami said something.
"Hey SunTzu, don't forget how great your work here is. And how many people you are protecting."
He looked back and nodded slowly before he left the room.
A few minutes later he met with Rei at the entrance of the cafeteria.
She was dressed in all buisness again and seemed to be looked pretty determined when she welcomed him with a kiss.
"We're getting in the final phase of our seat in the senate."
"Then I hope you don't get mad, when I tell you Ami is planing for another glorious undercover mission with you and me on Coruscant."
"For another trip with you and Ami to Coruscant I'd even miss my introduction into the senate." The Diplomat joked and smiled.
The couple went inside and joined Haruka and Michiru on a table. The three pilots had seen each other at sport earlier this morning already.
"So, what did Ami want? Are you a walking target for Japanese's Intelligence Service now?" Haruka asked and wolved down a third of a pancake.
"Nope, me, her and Moeru Shōjo here are going back to Coruscant. Apparently the racists were not racist enough to not take money from abroad or even from another system."
"Bloody Hell. These Bastards are always the same. Big mouth but money is still the main thing they care for."
"Does that mean, we'll be separated again? We barely go on missions together anymore." Michiru stated sadly.
With a theatrically gesture, closing his eyes, lowering his head and putting his hand on his chest, SunTzu answered.
"I know Michiru-Chan. But I have to go, it is my duty."
Equally theatrically the teal haired Senshi answered.
"Me and Haruka will be waiting here for you. No matter how long it takes."
Both started to laugh and while Haruka watched the scene with a raised eye brown, Rei found it rather amusing.
"Honestly, we're heading out too, Royal Escort. The Royal Couple will head over to New York to speak in front of the UN Main Assembly. And then make a small state trip around the US."
"Usagi is still pissed and she's probably going to tell the World to either follow us or go to hell. I haven't seen her that determined in a long time." Haruka told additional.
"And you adore it." Michiru rolled her eyes in played jealousy before she began to giggle.
"I'm glad we're just on duty with the Voyager and that Jupiter and Pluto take over Close Protection. I'm not too fond of the current US Administration."
"I don't understand what you mean Michiru, I think we would make a lot of friends if we made up in front of the president." Haruka replied with a laugh.
"You still could tell them you're cousins. I guess at least a few of the southern states in the US would understand." SunTzu said and all of them began to laugh.
A few hours later Ami told her two friends to come over to her office again.
Rei and SunTzu were sitting close to each other and were holding hands as Ami began to brief them.
"I gave you data on the target person on these data cards in front of you guys at the table." SunTzu took it and put it in a data pad.
"Son and heir of a Durasteel Magnat. Typical rich kid. We don't know yet why he thinks helping ultranationalists on earth would benefit him but we'll find out. We'll snatch him while he's going out."
"Oh, the usual club fight then?" Rei remarked sarcastically and Ami sighed before she replied.
"Nooo Rei, we just try to snatch the target. He probably isn't as heavy guarded as the targets before. And, since you guys are pretty well known in the galaxy by now, we'll disguise you. So please be here at tomorrow by seven am again, SunTzu this means beard off. Oh and we're traveling in disguise as well, so no weapons."
SunTzu and Rei looked at each other and rolled their eyes, SunTzu also stroked his beard, it just had the perfect length right now.
Both, the pilot and the diplomat went back to their working places after the briefing.
Rei would leave for the shrine afterwards and then come over to his place in the late evening.
SunTzu told Hotaru about his mission and made a last flight with AICA in the afternoon. The Starfighter, together with Hotaru and Terra would participate in various exercises with the ESDF in the next few days, so at least these two were busy and wouldn't get any bad ideas.
Rei came at around eight pm and showed up with a grin on her face. She had promised SunTzu to cook and she surprised him with doing a Curry, his favorite food from her cooking.
"I have to properly strengthen you up before another undercover mission in a club."
"You mean another completely escalating hand to hand brawl."
"Yeah. Like I said, undercover mission in a club." Both lovers laughed and he embraced her from behind while she was at the stove and stirring the pot with the Curry.
"Rei Hino, your the best. For your curry I even voluntarily abstain from packing heat when going to Coruscant again." SunTzu said before he kissed the crook of his girlfriend's neck.
The next day the couple got up early and went for breakfast on the way.
SunTzu almost lost it, when someone took pictures of him and Rei while they were having breakfast in a convenience store.
Apparently SunRei was such a thing now that even the usual polite Japanese people couldn't resist to take pictures of them.
"Relax Baby. It's not that they're really harassing us, he even apologized afterwards." Rei told him as they left the store. For her it wasn't anything new as she knew this from hanging around with Minako already. And the Japanese were way more polite than regular paparazzi.
The couple arrived on time at the Office of the Intelligence Service, where Ami and Agent Smith told them, that they'd get not only wigs but also professional face masks covering their real features and colored contact lenses.
That was the reason why they had to be there so early but instead of a make-up artist a scanner and a 3D-Printer took over the job of producing the face masks. It was GA Intelligence Service Technology and therefore state of the art. The masks were so thin that they weren't recognizable as masks and even took the same temperature than their regular skin. On the other side they were easy to apply and also pull away.
Within one hour SunTzu and Rei turned to different people. SunTzu became a few years younger and suddenly had blue eyes and black hair.
Rei on the other side was now a blonde with more Eurasian facial features.
The two lovers were very surprised and unused with their new looks although both had to admit that the other still looked very attractive.
"I'm so gonna use this for a role play TopGun." Rei whispered into SunTzu's ear as Ami and Agent Smith were not looking.
Ami herself would wear her black wig as disguise and on Coruscant Ada would stay in contact with Ami and oversee the mission.
While the three would take the same flight, economy as they were posing as tourists, only the girls would travel together. SunTzu would not only sat apart from them in the shuttle to Coruscant but also would have a different room in the middle class hotel they had booked rooms in.
There wouldn't be any contact between the girls and SunTzu until at least they'd fake an introduction in the club the suspect usually frequented, four times a week.
A few hours later, the three of them boarded the noon time shuttle to Coruscant. Of course nether SunTzu nor Rei were particularly fond of not being allowed to have contact with each other.
SunTzu, in his disguise, secretly observed Rei while they were waiting for the boarding.
It was evening when they arrived at Coruscant and while the girls took a repulsor cab to the hotel, SunTzu took the mag-train and needed accordingly longer.
It was already dark when he arrived and had checked in and since he was alone he decided to get something to eat before diving into the night life, just like a tourist would do.
He didn't like being alone on Coruscant for a single minute though. And the thought that the girls were on their own, didn't make it better.
SunTzu shoved down a dinner in a Biscuit Baron chain restaurant and spilled it down with some sort of soda that tingled on his tongue. The pilot wished he could have had some more of Rei's tasty Curry instead the bland tasting sandwich he had been eating right now.
After he finished SunTzu headed out in the dark.
The snub pilot frequented a few bars in the nightlife district the club they would frequent later would be located at, to give everyone that might pursue him the pretense he was a regular tourist that was enjoying Coruscant's nightlife. If someone would have looked close he would have noticed that the black haired earthling just consumed non-ebrieting beverages and didn't search for anyone to mingle with.
A few minutes before midnight and after what seemed to be an endless amount of time he had to kill and then still having to wait in line in front of the club, SunTzu, dressed in jeans, a white shirt and a black leather jacket, entered the club the suspect should be at, one of the most high class night clubs on Coruscant. And it sure was elegantly decorated in a mix of industrial and antique style, a bit steampunkish SunTzu found.
On the way to the main room he was already greeted by half naked dancers, humans and Zeltrons, behind lighted windows.
He didn't care much for them and suppressed a yawn, when he entered the main floor.
The club was pretty packed with all kind of humans and other species.
SunTzu didn't even check the surroundings right, before he decided to get something to wet his whistle before the irrevocable brawl would break out later.
He ordered an Ale, paid the barkeeper, including a pretty nice tip as it wouldn't be the barkeeper's fault the club would probably be closed down earlier tonight, and finally took his time to take a look around. Standing near the huge dancefloor he let his gaze wander while he drank from his beer.
And then he spotted her.
Sitting in front of the DJ booth on a expensive looking arm chair, that kinda looked like a throne, she looked over to him, while her fingers played with the glass she was holding.
Dressed in fishnet tights, a short, black skirt, black spaghetti strap top and a cropped black jacket, her blonde hair in a ponytail over her shoulder. Her mask and the blonde hair completely covered her usual looks but she still was the hottest being in the whole club.
He had to take a sip from his small bottle of Ale to cool himself down.
Looking like this should be enough of a reason to get in contact with you, SunTzu thought and began to cross over to here.
The hint of a smile appeared on the disguised Rei's face and she got up, put her empty glass on the DJ booth and walked around the dancefloor.
They met at the height of the middle of the dancefloor and stood face to face next to where people danced.
"Hi, I'm Max. What a coincidence to find you here, I already noticed you on my flight from earth to Coruscant." The Pilot in disguise leaned forward and told the blonde beauty.
"Is that so? Sounds like you've been creeping me." The blonde turned her head away for a second, seemingly annoyed.
But then she smiled and faced him again.
"I'm just joking." She extended her hand towards him. "I'm Akira."
He shook her hand.
"That's a nice name. Nice to meet you Akira."
The blonde smiled and played with a strand of her hair.
"Can I invite you for a drink Akira?" The black haired European asked.
The two earthlings went back to the bar and shared a drink and some light conversation, both had their backgrounds learned perfectly.
The two lovers in disguise's psychic connection told Rei that SunTzu was worrying were Ami was although.
"Let's dance?" She asked him and when he nodded she took his hand and lead him to the dancefloor.
The DJ played the ever so popular music from earth and right now Enrique Iglesias was letting someone know he would be fucking her tonight.
Which was exactly the same thing a certain Officer of the Kingdom of Crystal Tokyo thought about his girlfriend in disguise right now.
They were dancing tight embraced when SunTzu made sure that nobody could listen.
"Where's Ami? And what about the target?"
"If you'd haven't gotten so late here you'd see." With a small movement of her head she motioned to the VIP's Sofas on the other side of the club.
He looked over and in the middle of the sofas, visible for everyone the target was sitting and enjoying himself, with a black haired Asian next to him, who was whispering something into the target's ear.
"We came an hour before you. That jerk arrived a few minutes later and we immediately went for a textbook thot approach. Well, I guess he's more into black haired girls." Rei shrugged. "Ami's on it and she just told me to be ready as backup if something should come up."
"So I don't need to worry?"
"Babe, it's Ami we're talking about. She got this. And she also can directly give Ada a signal with her watch. She just told me to stay around."
Rei turned around and apart from her body in front of his, as he was embracing her from behind SunTzu could feel her hand brushing over his face.
He spun her around again and pulled her even closer before he leaned in.
With a smug grin she closed her eyes and leaned in as well.
The couple kissed on the dancefloor and a single rather innocent kiss grew soon into a full make out session.
They left the dancefloor and went into the direction of the VIP sofas and even managed to sneak a quick peek of Ami, still talking with the target person. She noticed them as well and secretly gestured to them to keep the time in check.
Finally the lovers slipped into the VIP restrooms to have more privacy. Fortunately nobody had seen them and there was nobody around as the only guy in the VIP was the target.
In front of the restrooms they continued their steamy session.
SunTzu pinned Rei against the wall behind her and she pulled a leg around his waist and pulling him on her with her arms while he was kissing her neck.
A few moments later she pushed him away from her, the blue in her eyes complimented from a fiery glow and she pulled him inside one of the rest rooms, where she then lead him into one of the spacious cabins.
Ami had been flirting with this boring, self loving idiot for quite a while yet. The last man she found as despicable had been stabbed with an icicle from her but she needed this guy alive for interrogation. And maybe for once they could finish an undercover job with really staying undercover.
She swallowed down the anger and distaste the man's hand on her knee triggered inside her and forced herself to stay in her role. After all she was a master spy.
From the corners of her eye she could see SunTzu and Rei, in their disguises, already making out again.
She sighed inside, those two just couldn't keep their hands off of each other. But she was happy for her friends, as they were still crazy for one another and deeply in love. She wouldn't be surprised if their relationship would take the next step soon. Probably the only thing that stood between an engagement was Rei's Grandfather.
The pilot and the diplomat scurried past the VIP Spots and the spy secretly motioned them to keep the time in mind.
The durasteel industry heir leaned down to Ami.
"Looks like your friend found someone to spent the night with." He said in an amused, ambiguous sounding tone. Ami had to fight against the will to punch the man unconscious and let SunTzu carry him out, the towering Bodyguard behind the sofa wouldn't be a problem for the three of them but she forced herself to calm down again.
"Haha, yes. But I guess I got the better one." Ami said with a happy smile and giggle, playing the naive dummy.
The sentence made the target smile happy.
"Let me fill your glass up again." Ami said and began to fill the target person's glass with stuff similar to Vodka another time.
The man continued to talk the ever same old story how wealthy and great he was and Ami acted like she still was interested but in reality she didn't listen anymore. But she had developed a plan how to get the guy out of the club on his own.
Two glasses of the strong alcohol for him later she excused herself and went to the restroom.
Although she saw her two friends walk in this direction she couldn't find them.
She walked into the ladies restroom and went into a stall where she sat down on the closed toilet.
You're doing this for the job, Ami…
The blue haired woman sighed loud and pulled down her panty and striped it down over her legs and high heels.
She got up, took a look at herself, wearing the wig with the long black hair, and straightened her dress.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breather. Clenching her hands around her underwear she walked out again.
Outside of the ladies restroom she thought she could have heard a female voice screaming from inside the man's restroom but she wasn't sure and didn't have the time to check
She walked back to the VIP area and sat down next to the man with a smile and leaned into him.
"Sorry. You know sometimes I'm a bit shy so I decided to tell you otherwise." Then Ami put her panty into the man's hand.
When the guy saw what she just handed him over his eyes widened.
"What do you say, we go out and get some fresh air?" The blue haired in disguise said and bite her lips while she looked the man in the eyes.
With a final scream Rei just had collapsed into SunTzu's arms as they both climaxed together and her boyfriend still had her pinned against the wall.
Enjoying the last wave of pleasure still running through their bodies while trying to catch their breaths the two lovers finished their love making with a passionate french kiss. They didn't know if they had been in here for five minutes or one hour.
"I told you I'm so gonna use this for a role play. And it was even better than I expected." Rei said after a while as she was resting her head on his chest.
"I have to say I really like these undercover missions."
"Yeah, we should really thank Ami for all these trips."
Suddenly she looked up and she and SunTzu locked eyes in shock.
"Ami!" Both yelled out at the same time.
Ami lead the target person, who told his bodyguard to stay in place out of the club, he was still clenching her pants tightly in his hand.
She lead him out of the entrance and around the corner into an dark and empty alley that ended in a dead end.
Then she pushed him against the wall.
The man smiled dumbfounded as he wasn't expecting that she would be so aggressive.
Ami laid her index finger on his mouth.
"Now be a good boy and close your eyes and silently enjoy what will happen next."
The man's smile got even bigger as he closed his eyes in happy anticipation what she would do now.
The last thing he expected though was the fist punch, in which Ami had put all her anger and disgust, that hit him heavy on his temple and immediately knocked him out cold.
Behind Ami SunTzu and Rei just came running into the alley and rushed to their friend's side.
The target person laid on his back, his limbs stretched out.
Ami stood over the man and clenched her hands a few times, the pain in her hands were totally worth it.
SunTzu and Rei now were standing left and right of their friend and looked at the man.
"I'm gonna call Ada to pick this blatherer up."
Ami said and walked back onto the Main Street in front of the club.
SunTzu saw that there was a piece of clothing in the man's now opened hand and picked it up. He unfolded it and it turned out to be a sly sapphire blue lace panty. He held it up with two hands and then it hit him and his gaze shot to Ami who was walking away.
Before he could say something he noticed the livid look a slowly head shaking Rei shot him and he immediately dropped the piece of underwear.
Within a few minutes Ada and a tactical team of the GAIS were on location and detained the target.
"Good work guys, I'll make sure this one stays alive and doesn't poison himself. Talk to you, when we got something out of him."
SunTzu and Rei were smoking and leaning against a building's wall when the Intelligence Service Team left in a repulsor van.
Ami was standing at the curb and when the vehicle turned at the next corner she turned around to her two friends.
"Which one of you invites me to a caf now? As reparation for just leaving me alone in the club while you two couldn't keep it in your pants again."
"What a question. I'm the poor shrine maiden, he's the millionaire." Rei said and motioned with her thumb to SunTzu. The pilot just shrugged.
"I don't mind anyway."
"Well then, let's head out."
Ami, supported by her computer, lead them to a nearby cafe.
One hour later, the girls, grateful that SunTzu paid, had had a piece of typical local cake each as well, they left the restaurant again.
Ami was in a high mood.
"I'm glad we did it once without having to fight. You two still are a mess but I wouldn't want to do this stuff without you tagging along."
"Ami called us a mess again, Rei."
"We still are a beautiful mess Babe." Rei yearned for her boyfriend. "Anyways, we really didn't do much Ami."
"But usually you do the dirty work. And I have to admit it's always a lot of fun with you guys around. I will miss it, but I guess with the war escalating ever more and Rei probably being Senator soon our undercover days are numbered."
The three friends sighed.
"It was fun."
"Yeah."
"Hey, we should celebrate this accordingly." Ami said. "Anyone remembering that bar we were after that club fight last time."
Rei and SunTzu giggled.
"Probably better than you Ames." Rei said. "You almost fell asleep at the table."
"Exactly, that one. Let's go there again."
"Great idea." SunTzu offered his arms to link in for the girls. "Myladies, shall we?"
Both girls hooked under and they walked off, looking for the next repulsor cab.
The trio celebrated their probably last undercover mission until early morning and then decided to take the first flight home already.
After getting their stuff from their hotel room as well as a late night or rather breakfast snack and a drink for the way, the trio merrily took a mag lev train to the spaceport where the flights to earth departed and arrived.
The three friends was singing anime openings and famous Japanese songs the two women had teached SunTzu as they boarded the almost empty shuttle as SunTzu had gotten them tickets for the buisness class which was empty besides the three of them.
After a last toast to their undercover adventures with a glass of champagne they got ready to sleep and when they would wake up, they'd be home again.
