Son Saiyan Doing Some Hard Work

"Are you sure you got this handle, Lyra Heartstring?" A girl asked her girlfriend, feeling really nervus watching up on the really tall and really old ladder.

"Will you calm down, Sweetie Drop? Everything is going to be fine." Lyra promised.

Lyra is a young girl with very light aquamarine skin color, pale light grayish cyan with white highlights hair that does down almost halfway to the back, and brilliant gamboge eye. She wears a raspberry shirt with a lighter tone at the top, blue-green shorts, raspberry headband, and a pair of darker shades of raspberry boots. Breasts size: H-cup.

Sweetie Drop is a young girl with a long moderate cobalt blue with very light fuchsia stripes hair that down past her waist, light apple greenish gray skin color, and moderate arctic blue eyes. She wears a white dress-like outfit with a green and two blue lines at the bottom of the skirt and the shoulder's part, green and blue stripes belt with a cute bowtie, blue bead necklace, long white socks, and blue shoes. Breasts size: H-cup.

"I'm just putting up the posters to let everyone know about the annual trip to Camp Everfree, gotta spread the word." Lyra said as she placed one poster in front of her.

"Yes, but the ladder we're using is really old and could fall apart at any minute." Sweetie Drop pointed out, then a loud crack from the ladder was made. "Make that any second!"

"I'll be done in no time." Lyra said.

Lyra then tries to place another poster on a little further to the left, reaching out far making Sweetie Drop worry some more.

And that's when the old ladder finally gave out and broke apart.

"Shit?!" Sweetie Drop gasped.

Lyra started to fall, probably to her doom fearing that her life is going to end leaving Sweetie Drop behind, things are not looking good for her.

But then she fails to notice that someone caught her in his arms, and it only took her a few seconds to realize this.

"What the…?!" Lyra was shocked to see that she is not falling anymore.

"Hey, are you okay?" The guy asked.

Lyra looks up to see that the one who just saved her is none other than the Saiyan of Earth, Son Goku with his signature smile.

"Goku! Oh man, you have no idea how happy I am to be save by you!" Lyra hugged Goku around the neck.

"It's no problem, that is what friends are for." Goku chuckled as he floated down and landed right in front of Sweetie Drop.

Lyra got down from his arms and Sweetie Drop jumps right onto her for a tight hug which Lyra didn't seem to mind.

"If you ever scare me like that again, I will never forgive and I WILL your secret stash of raspberry sweets you keep in your house because I know where it is!" Sweetie Drop said and kisses Lyra's face a few times.

"Okay, okay, I'll be more careful next time. And think of a new hiding place for my stash." Lyra chuckled.

"You should really have this look at with Celestia, I'm sure she can get a new ladder." Goku picked up a broken piece of the old ladder.

"That's exactly what I'm going to do straight away!" Sweetie Drop declared.

Then one of the posters that Lyra dropped glided and landed on Goku's face making him pick it up and look at it, seeing a picture of what looks like something of a camping thing with the tent of campfire and all.

"Camp Everfree. Don't think I've heard about that before." Goku said.

"That's because you're still new around here, silly." Lyra teased a little.

"It's something Canterlot High does every year with the older students." Lyra said with Sweetie Drop stepping in for the explanation.

"Every year, we go together on a camping trip to camp Everfree for two whole weeks to enjoy the fun times being within the great outdoors among the trees, being surrounded by nature, getting away from the modern things." Sweetie Drop listed the good things about camping.

"That all sounds cool. I remember me and my family used to do camping a few times back in our universe, we even lived at the foot of a mountain where I was raised." Goku mentioned.

"Well, you get to do a lot of other things like hiking, water skiing, and other activities you could do." Lyra added a few more things.

"Wow, sounds like that place is really fun." Goku commented.

"You better believe it is!" Lyra winked.

"That is if the camp has been close down by the time we get there." Sweetie Drop said with concern.

"What do you mean by that?" Goku was confused.

"Word is that Camp Everfree isn't getting enough campers to come over for the summer and it's been low on the funding part." Sweetie Drop said.

"Funding." Goku said, having no idea on what funding even means.

"It means that it doesn't have enough money to keep itself open longer." Lyra explained what funding means.

"Oh, that make sense." Goku realized that now.

"I even heard rumors that Filthy Rich is trying to buy off the camp since his business works with the camp only to pay the regular fee, but he might tear it down if nothing is done." Lyra explained on a little rumor about this Filthy Rich guy.

"When you put it like that, it sounds bad." Goku commented.

"I know, I just hope nothing bad happens to Camp Everfree. It's a really fun place to be at when some people want to get away from all that city life." Sweetie Drop stated.

"But there's not really much for us to do since we're only students unless you can earn some money and donate them for the camp." Lyra said while picking up the scatter posters.

"Well, maybe you guys could still have some good time with camp and make the most fun with it, right?" Goku advised.

"You're right about that, Goku. If it's the last year of camp, we'll definitely have the most fun in our lives!" Sweetie Drop smiled.

"Though it would still be great if the camp can still continue on for many years go come." Lyra said.

"Well, we better get going, it was nice talking to you." Lyra said.

"Bye." Sweetie Drop waved goodbye as they walk away from Goku who waves goodbye to them.

"Okay, see you later." Goku waved goodbye.

Lyra and Sweetie Drop turn to a corner of the school building, they look behind them to make absolutely sure that Goku isn't behind them, and they let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh my god, he was so cute!" Lyra and Sweetie Drop said excitedly in union.

"I can't believe we got to talk with Goku of all people and he was so awesome when he saved me from that fall!" Lyra complimented.

"I was very relieved, he is like a boy scout with fists of steel, and that makes me has the hots for him." Sweetie Drop fanned herself with her hand.

"Oh man, I wish we could be his girlfriends." Lyra said, daydreaming about Goku a little.

"Maybe we could! He has two girlfriends, Chi-Chi and Pinkie, remember." Sweetie Drop pointed out that maybe Goku could be looking for more girlfriends if he wants.

"Oh, maybe we should talk to them right away!" Lyra suggested.

"Then let's go right now!" Sweetie Drop excitedly and the two made a dash to find Pinkie and Chi-Chi.

The scene changes to Goku walking through the streets deciding to have a little alone time while thinking about the talk he had with them about Camp Everfree, it sounded like a really fun place, and he is looking forward to going them with the others.

This also reminded him of the days he would go out camping with his first son, Gohan, and then there's Goten, even Chi-Chi came along on the trip for the whole family including the Ox-King.

"Man, it sure would be nice to have a good camping experience in this Camp Everfree place. I wonder if Chi-Chi would be all in for it?" Goku asked himself.

But while he was walking, a piece of paper flew by the wind and smack onto his face.

"Sheesh, is my face a magnet for paper now?" Goku asked himself while taking the paper off.

Goku looks at the paper seeing it to be a "Help Wanted" paper for a job which is something he learned about at school, and it looks like this job involves construction working to help move some heavy things.

"Construction working? Now this takes me back." Goku said before looking up at the sky.

"It was the first training session I did with Master Roshi, trying to teach us the importance of life with one of the lessons being working hard." Goku remembered that time.

(Flashback)

The scene shows of Kid Goku with Krillin who wasn't friends with him yet and Master Roshi watching over his students, they are within a construction site with Kid Goku shoveling some dirt.

Next shows Kid Goku and Krillin standing in attention as they listen to Master Roshi's wisdom.

"We do not learn martial arts to pick fights or to impress girls who will say "Oh beefcake, you're so strong, I want you." Heh. Muah. (does a kissing motion) Do you understand what I am saying? We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war. We achieve victory by the art of war, victory is won through strategy, strategy is derived from the art of peace. However, if somebody evil threatens you or any other good innocent people with unethical force, it is your duty to defend!" Roshi explained his own belief in martial arts.

"Yes, sir!" Krillin nodded, getting it.

"Huh, could you repeat that?" Kid Goku asked, he did not understand most of what Roshi just said.

"(I didn't really understand that lesson back then, but I soon begun to see what he was going with and how being strong means.)" Goku thought felt glad to have been trained under him.

Next scene shows Master Roshi withstanding a strong electric attack from a strong opponent in the Tournament of Power, in his full-power buff form and charging up his Kamehameha, the very technique he invented himself many years ago.

"(And I'll never forget that big moment when Master Roshi showed us that he can grow stronger too!)" Goku thought recalled that moment in the Tournament of Power.

"Now, listen to me, boys! Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war! The Turtle Hermit School will be with you... always! This will be my greatest, most powerful Kamehameha!" Roshi fired the Kamehameha at his opponent sending him off the ring.

(Flashback End)

"Oh boy, he really is a martial art master." Goku chuckled.

Goku look down at the help wanted poster again, actually thinking about doing some work there to reignite the Turtle School way from within him.

"I guess it would hurt doing some light physical training." Goku said.

(Next Day, Construction Sight)

Goku, now wearing a simple white sleeveless shirt and dark green pants with boots and a hardhat, is standing in front of him is a piles of big metal pillars with a man who is the boss of this construction crew giving him instructions.

"Alright kid, we need to get these pillars set up over there into those holes for the structure of the building we're making and we gotta do it fast since we're a little behind schedule." The construction boss said.

"Okay, I'll get to it." Goku nodded.

"Now let's get you set up with driving of one of these cranes, and don't worry, it'll be okay for you to drive even if you don't have a license since I'll be supervising you." The construction boss said.

"Now the first thing you gotta do is—WHAT THE FUCKING HELL?!" The construction boss screamed in pure shock.

The reason for the reaction is because Goku is carrying four of the big metal pillars, two in each arm, and he is carrying them like the weight means nothing to him with a calm and peaceful humming.

"(No way… Is this for real? I knew the kid was strong when I first look at him, but I had no fucking idea that he could be this strong to begin with!)" The construction boss thought freaked out.

And he is not the only one as the other construction workers are also seeing the amazing, shit crazy strength of the new guy doing this easy on one of the hardest jobs in this line of work.

"Hey! You said to put these inside the holes, right?" Goku asked, wanting to make sure so that he doesn't screw up.

"Y-Yeah, each pillar for each hole." The construction boss nodded.

"Okay." Goku said.

Goku tossed the four pillars in the air, cracking his neck a little, and then he jumps to throw the pillars into four of the holes perfectly like he just got a hole in one each at a golf course even though he never really played golf before.

"Great, now for the other ones!" Goku said before rushing for the other pillars.

The construction boss didn't know exactly just what kind of freak he hired, and he thinks it's too late to turn him away, but he can also see the pace this Goku kid is going moving the heavy stuff around with ease which could also be really good for him and his crew to get the job done faster than expected.

"(I can't tell rather it was God's work or the Devil's luck but fuck yeah! I got myself a good one!)" The construction boss thought smirked.

Goku just finished putting down the last pillar in the final hole and looking closely to see that his work is done.

"All done." Goku said.

"Kid, you are something else! I don't know what kind of workout routine you have been doing to be that crazy strong, but with your help around here, we might be able to get the help job in finishing up this new building faster!" The construction boss said with his arm around his shoulder.

"Sure, this is all good light exercise for me." Goku smiled.

The rest of the construction went pretty well, really great with having Goku around to really do the heavy lifting with that incredible strength of his to hammer down some nails and not only that, but the construction crew have also seen him do things very fast having superspeed though he does get a little confuse a few times on what he needs to do.

But all in all, everything is going well that it only took them just four days in a success thanks to the Saiyan of earth.

"Wow, you really made quite an impact in the papers." Bulma said while reading the newspaper about Goku having a construction crew finish building a new place.

"Yeah, it was good to do some hard work again just like how Master Roshi showed me when I first trained with him and Krillin." Goku said while doing pushups with Chi-Chi sitting on his back.

"Are you going to keep working with them?" Chi-Chi asked.

"Maybe, the boss said he'll call me for an emergency, so that means I'm out of the job." Goku answered.

"Why exactly did you get a job, not that I'm grateful for you to take things a little seriously, but why?" Chi-Chi asked curiously.

"I thought about helping out the trip for Camp Everfree when they said something about the camp being low on the money thing, sounded like a fun place when they said it." Goku explained.

"Oh yeah, the camping trip we're going on. This certainly brings back memories when we used to go out into the world when we were searching for the Dragon Balls, we used to do a lot of camping through those travels." Bulma remembered those days.

"You know what? I don't mind helping out." Bulma said.

"Really?" Goku asked in surprise.

"Yeah, I can transfer some money for Camp Everfree to keep it going." Bulma shrugged.

"Oh, guess that works out." Goku said.
