Chapter 6
"These babies are yours Lucas. Our night together happened long before anything with Julian."
"How do you feel about that honestly?" Brooke questioned.
Once the two got back into the car.
"Nervous. Excited. Motivated. To be everything Dan wasn't."
"What are Ted and Victoria going to say about this?"
"I know they loved Julian. Mostly i'm invested in how you feel."
"Are you still unsure about motherhood?" Lucas asked.
"I'm consumed with feelings. But something changed when I saw them on the monitor and heard the heartbeat."
"I'm going to be a mom." Brooke said.
"We're going to be in this together. I promise you."
"I won't let you down." Lucas reassured her.
...
"I'm going to be a grandmother. Lucas this news is what i've been holding out hope for once you moved back."
"I couldn't be more glad that you and Brooke will be doing this with each other. Parenthood with a supportive partner is ideal." Karen said.
"Yeah me and Brooke will go through this pregnancy and raising the babies as friends." Lucas proclaimed.
"Good luck with that my boy." Karen replied.

Days Later
"You're going to be a mom. Brooke this is incredible!" Haley said. Hugging her close girlfriend tightly.
"I already knew. Which means I must be here for another reason." Rachel said.
"I'm having twins." Brooke said. Showing the ultrasound.
"Ahhhhh! We're having babies!" Haley exclaimed.
"Julian and you are thrilled despite not being together anymore right?" Haley asked.
"Julian isnt the father. Lucas is." Brooke confirmed.
"So you broke up Peyton and Lucas's marriage?" Haley questioned.
"No. They ended before Lucas ever knew about the pregnancy. Just like me and Julian. It wasn't right with any of us as couples."
"Lucas and I finding retreat in each other. Was not planned or expected." Brooke clarified.
"Let's all go to our seperate corners." A voice said.
The women surprised to see Peyton in the Naley entryway.
"Do you know everything?" Haley asked.
"Brooke being pregnant. Lucas being the father."
"Yes. Brooke called me and explained what was missing with her and Julian. And i explained what went wrong with me and Lucas."
"I got in the way of Brooke and Lucas once. And i'm staying out of it. If and when they find their way back together it will be because its supposed to happen."
"Brooke was and is still my best friend. So don't go after her wanting to defend me." Peyton insisted.
Brooke sighed deeply. "I've missed you." Brooke said.
