Percy had been so distraught by Paul and his mother's deaths that he had fallen asleep in Nyx's arms after they reappeared in The House of Night. The next moment he had opened them, he noticed that he was lying down on a very comfortable bed with red-blood bedsheets and black pillows. The room itself was adorned with a few pieces of silver and gold furniture along with a bathroom and a closet.

He was trying to process everything that had previously happened when he noticed the familiar figure sitting on a chair next to his bed with their head bowed down deep asleep. He couldn't recognize her at first because of the caramel-colored hair that reminded him of Calypso, but she was still imprisoned in Ogygia, unfortunately. But then noticed the black rings on her arms that were crossed over her chest while it went up and down at a steady and low pace, meaning that she was asleep.

Unconsciously, Percy moved one of his hands through her hair soothingly. He didn't process the fact that his hand was on her hair until he saw her head move up at the sudden contact.

"Huh?" She groaned as she lifted her head until her earth-green and brown eyes settled on his. "Percy!" She jumped on him, tackling him back onto the bed.

"Z-Zo-Zoe," He cracked out, "Air!"

The daughter of Atlas quickly disentangled her arms around his neck while apologizing. Percy just shook it off and gave her a sad smile as everything that had happened came rushing into his mind.

Zoe noticed that his mood soon turned somber and dark, meaning that he remembered that his parents were killed in front of him. Nyx and Erebus had told her about what had happened at Olympus after the primordial couple teleported her to The House of Night shortly after Percy fell asleep.

They say that Zoe was furious and disappointed in the Olympians which is an understatement. It was hard for her to believe that Artemis had shot and killed Percy's parents in front of him in order to get him to talk, but then she would remember how much Artemis had changed in the last couple of years after her death and believed it. Artemis wasn't the same after her death, that much she could tell, but to go as far as to kill an innocent man and the woman of the greatest man in history was just too much to properly process.

After Nyx and Erebus had explained everything to her, she asked for Percy's room and was led by the embodiment of the night. As soon as she was in the room, she got a chair and sat next to Percy's sleeping form. She couldn't even imagine what he was going through and was going to be there for him once he woke up.

The moment she had seen him there, she had let out a sigh of relief. Having watched Zeus along with the other gods and Artemis take Percy and Poseidon prisoner was very hard for her to not run to the Empire State Building and free Percy from Zeus. Luckily, they had planned in case Zeus decided to do something as drastic as that, so she went to a dark enough place, which was a cave, and prayed to Erebus and Nyx.

"Shh, it's fine," Zoe said as she carefully wrapped Percy in her arms. "Let it out, don't hold it in," She soothed him and that was all Percy needed for his tears to come spilling out of his eyes.

Percy was mourning the death of his mother and stepfather. They had been the only people, with Paul just recently, to be there for him and give him moral support no matter the situation he was in. But then being reminded that his sibling had been killed along with his mother just sent him into another wave of tears.

Zoe felt how his tears were soaking her shirt from her shoulder to her back and the top of her right breast, but she couldn't care about a messy shirt at the moment. Percy needed her to be there for him and she was more than glad to be there to comfort him. She didn't say anything and just rubbed soothing circles on his back with one hand as the other rubbed his scalp.

The crying son of Poseidon was more than grateful to Zoe for what she was doing. She had been there for him during their time in The Pit as well as when he finally vented out about his break-up with Annabeth for cheating on him. To not say that she was on board with his plans since the beginning always providing support for him and pointing out each issue with each of his plans. He couldn't ask for more of her and couldn't think of what would have happened to him if it weren't for Zoe finding him next to the river of misery when he first fell into Tartarus.

As Percy thought about everything that Zoe had done for him, his mind slowly went away from thinking about his parents and unborn sibling. He felt warm being in Zoe's arms and rubbing circles in his back along with rubbing the back of his head in a soothing manner. He couldn't think about what he would feel like and do if he were to lose her, the only person left who was openly there for him helping him.

Once his train of thought ended there, the sudden realization finally hit him like a bag of rocks. He didn't know if it was because of how messed up his feelings were or because it was something that was there before but never noticed, but he was sure that he was feeling attraction towards Zoe more than ever. It wasn't just physical attraction, but also emotional.

Zoe had been there for him and even followed him when Artemis had given her a chance to come back to the hunt. She may have said that it was a way of repaying him for what he had done for her and everyone in the world by saving them, but he was starting to believe his previous suspicions about her feelings towards him. Percy had noticed her lingering eyes on him when she thought he wasn't looking or the way her cheeks would slightly blush when he touched her.

Percy didn't know what was driving him at that moment. Maybe it was his mourning for his parents and unborn sibling, or perhaps it was that everyone in his previous life wasn't there for him anymore because of recent events. But the only thing he knew was that he had slowly removed his head from Zoe's shoulder and looked into her new earth-green and brown eyes.

The daughter of Atlas noticed that Percy's crying had stopped a couple of minutes ago and was hugging her form. She initially thought it was for comfort but didn't mind. The more in contact, he was with him, the more the warm feeling and giddy feeling in her body grew. The only reason why she hadn't done anything was because she knew that Percy was mourning and needed comfort.

However, when she noticed that his head moved from her shoulder to just a few inches in front of her surprised her. Zoe wanted to ask him what was wrong but then noticed his intense gaze in his eyes staring right back into her own eyes. She could feel his warm breath on her lips and how one of his hands had moved from holding her back to cupping her cheek. She felt them heat up at his touch and under his piercing gaze.

"P-Percy? What are you-" She didn't get to finish as Percy's lips softly touched hers.

It was a peck, a very chaste peck, but it was more than enough to assure Zoe that Percy was feeling the same feelings for her as she did for him. It may have been too fast and sudden, but it sent a new wave of warmth across her entire body and caused her cheeks to have a tint of red and silver, a clear show of her new status as the heiress of the primordial of the Earth. She felt a bit lightheaded as the part where his lips had touched hers tingled for a couple of seconds.

Zoe wanted to say something but was too shocked to say anything. Luckily for her, Percy decided to speak first. "Zoe, I am not going to lie to you and say that I am one hundred percent sure about my feelings towards you," That sentence made her heart pang but he quickly gave her hope with what he said next. "But it doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to explore and make sure that this feelings are true. Annabeth's betrayal broke me, but you showed me the lengths that you would go to for me. You have been there for me ever since you found me laying next to The Acheron and I can admit that I've felt attracted to you, even before your death but you were a huntress back then," Percy admitted with a gold and red blush on his cheeks as he confessed to an early crush on her when she was a huntress.

"I don't know if my feelings right now are too mixed up because of the death of m-my m-m-mom and P-Paul. But I would like to find those out if you are up for it," Percy confessed. He finally had acted on his early feelings for her and now the ball was on her court.

The son of Poseidon didn't have to wait for her response as Zoe kissed his cheeks and nuzzled on his neck before taking a deep breath of his aroma. "I would love that, Percy. I've watched you from the stars for the last couple of years and saw the man you have become. There is no one I would like to try and risk the pain of heartbreak besides you," She responded with a slight quivering tone that showed her vulnerability to him but she knew that Percy would never abuse it.

The son of Poseidon wrapped his arms around her frame as he placed his head on top of hers. "Good, you are also the only girl I would risk the pain of heartbreak for,"

They didn't say anything else and just enjoyed their embrace in each other's arms. It was a comforting and pleasurable feeling. To finally be able to get those feelings off their chests after weeks of being cautious about their actions and words around each other.

"What time is it?" Zoe asked as she felt herself relax into his arms with a great desire to just close them and go to sleep.

Percy turned his head to his bedside stand and noticed that it was pretty late. "It's 11:24 pm. We should probably go to sleep,"

Zoe nodded as she removed herself from his arms and looked over to the door, finally realizing that she still didn't have a room or any clothes there.

The son of Poseidon seem to notice this and shifted over to the side to give her plenty of space. "Come on, you can sleep here tonight and tomorrow we can talk to Erebus and Nyx to give you a room... if you want to," He softly and timidly spoke the last part but Zoe was able to hear it.

She softly smiled at Percy before kicking off her shoes and climbing under the covers right next to him. Zoe quickly shifted to her side to try and not make their situation weird even if they had admitted their feelings for each other a couple of minutes earlier. She thought that it was going to be awkward at first, but when she felt Percy's arms wrapped around her waist from behind her, effectively spooning her, she let out a sigh of relief and closed her eyes, relishing the feeling of having his strong arms wrapped around her figure.

"Good night, Zoe," Percy murmured into her neck.

"Good night, Percy," She whispered as she shifted as close as possible to him.

Line Break

"What do you mean by he betrayed us?!" The loud demand from Jason echoed through the throne room of Olympus. "He was there with us the entire time and defeated Gaea by himself! How could he be a traitor?! He survived Tartarus and still helped us after that when he had already been through enough! There is no-"

"Enough!" Jason's rant was interrupted by the thundering voice of the king of the gods. "What we have told you is the truth and if you dare defy our word you will suffer the consequences," Zeus threatened with a deep growl in his voice as the smell of ozone filled the air.

The situation of the meeting was to congratulate the demigods for defeating Gaea and her forces the day prior as well as to lie about Percy's sudden disappearance. Zeus had basically threatened everybody in the council while the majority of the male gods supported it since they saw it as a hit to their pride while the goddesses just stood quiet and didn't argue.

Most goddesses wanted to say their thoughts on the situation but were either too scared of angering Zeus and suffering the consequences or believe that it was better to keep quiet until the time was right. Hestia had been the most affected goddess as it was a direct hit in her domain of family and hope, but also because of her close friendship with the demigod after the end of the Titan War. Artemis had been the most silent out of everyone in the council because she took the life of Percy's parents and regretted ever letting her anger take the best of her judgment. Athena had tried to jab at the male gods about the ridiculousness of their actions and driving the strongest demigod in history against them when he also had to power to fade them by his challenge. Hera and Aphrodite just stood quiet the entire meeting since they knew better than to go against Zeus and his paranoia of being dethroned ever since he got the throne.

The demigods from both camps as well as the hunters and the Amazons had been called to Olympus for the ceremony. The small group of hunters and Amazons had no idea of what had happened the previous day at the battlefield, but once they were told of the events they were slack-jawed. To hear that the son of Poseidon had gone up to the primordial of the Earth and defeated her was just too astonishing. They all knew that he was powerful and had some prejudices against them, but once they heard that he was actually stronger than he showed, that made them realize that they were lucky to never incur his wrath upon them.

After they heard the ridiculous lie from the king of the gods about them taking Percy from the battlefield, they knew that something wasn't right. However, they couldn't openly go against Zeus' words since the goddesses stood no chance, which one did they have?

"B-b-but ho-how?" The quivering voice of Annabeth interrupted the silence that had settled after Zeus' thread.

Zeus sent an expectant look at his eldest daughter but the goddess didn't bat an eye in his direction and opted for looking over to Artemis. She had been worried that what happened yesterday had finally been enough for the goddess of the hunt since she knew of the positive interactions between the son of Poseidon and herself.

The king huffed in annoyance at being ignored by his eldest daughter. "He made a deal with strong beings in exchange for the power to defeat Gaea and then let them take over the world promising a better world," Zeus lied not wanting to go into details.

The demigods were still unsure of his lies but didn't voice them because of fear.

However, Malcolm, a son of Athena, asked the question everyone was wondering.

"Milord, if we may, who were the ones who gave Percy the offer?" He spoke in the most respectful voice that he could muster.

Zeus was slightly surprised that they had asked that question and knew that if they find out who they were, they were likely to leave the gods and go to the other side. It would be the Titan War all over again and he didn't want to make the same mistake as the last time.

"Ahem," He cleared his throat before answering. "We don't know who they were, but they were strong enough to teleport him out of the throne room when we were interrogating him," Zeus lied once again.

Malcolm, along with his siblings and other curious demigods wanted to ask more questions about the situation, but they knew that Zeus was running on low patience.

The meeting continued with Zeus telling the demigods to report any sightings of the son of Poseidon and killing in sight if possible before moving to the awards. 6 out of the 7 along with Reyna and Nico were going to be rewarded for their efforts in the war while Octavian was still on trial for his crimes.

Every one of them had the decision to choose partial immortality and a few gifts from the gods. Annabeth was given more resources for rebuilding Olympus as well as full sessions with her mother. Jason was appointed the general of Olympus' army in case ever Percy does go through with his threat. Piper had chosen to finally cure his father with one of Apollo's cures. Hazel asked for her curse to be removed and while Frank asked for the same, they told him that they couldn't do that since it was the will of the Fates and they couldn't remove it, so he chose his grandma's place to be repaired. Reyna had asked for a temporary retirement before coming back as well as a new pegasus for her. Nico had just asked for his father to be respected more after all he did in both wars. After the initial disapproval of Zeus and Hera, they finally budged after Hestia gave them both a stern and menacing gaze.

The one who probably got the short end of the stick besides Percy in this entire situation was Leo. He had asked for Calypso to be freed but Zeus didn't budge on it since she was a Titaness and stated all of the possible betrayals she could do if she is set free and met Percy once again. He was so infuriated that his body lit up but a menacing glare from Zeus shut him down and just asked for materials for the camp, already thinking of ways to get to Calypso.

After rewards were given, the celebration party for the war started. None of the demigods were in any mood to party, but eventually just relaxed and talked with their friends that had survived the war.

At the edge of Olympus, far away from the rest of the party, stood Annabeth. She was gazing down at the lights of the city of Manhattan as a few tears fell from her eyes at everything that has happened. If she didn't have pushed Percy away, if she just had fallen with him to Tartarus, maybe she could have changed things for them.

She shook her head in disapproval at the thought of it. Who was she kidding? Percy already knew about her cheating on him before that, it wouldn't change anything about the way Percy treated her. All of it because of a moment of weakness of her flaw and desperation to find him.

Annabeth was about to move to leave the area when a familiar pair of slender arms wrapped around her waistline. Her breath hitched at feeling the familiar pair of breasts pushing up against her shoulder blades and her sweet strawberry aroma invading her nostrils.

Annabeth wanted to push her away and scream in her face that it was her fault when her sweet, soft voice stopped her.

"I'm sorry for what happened," Her soft tone was too much for her and just led the tears to spill even faster. "I'm here for you, just like all the times before," Annabeth felt her soft lips plant one loving kiss on the pulse of her neck making her breath hitch.

"Please, just stop," Annabeth pleaded as she tried to wiggle out of her arms but to no avail, she was too weak to fight her.

"You don't have to be alone now. It hurts me to see you so fragile and broken, just like when Percy disappeared," That comment finally broke Annabeth of her state and her mourning turned into rage.

Annabeth harshly got out of her embrace and turned around to look at the daughter of Aphrodite with pure fury in her eyes. "You caused this! If it weren't for you, Percy would be in my arms and nothing of this would've happened! You are-"

"The one who gave you comfort when you needed it the most! I was the one who was there for you to relieve you of your stress when you couldn't get a clue about his whereabouts!" The daughter of Aphrodite shot back and momentarily stunned Annabeth, but she wasn't done. "You talk so highly of yourself and put the guilt on me! But you are just as hypocritical and arrogant as your mother! I didn't force you into anything! I didn't even use charm speak on you!" She defended herself as she took a break to take a deep breath and spoke in a more calm matter. "Even if this wouldn't have happened between us, what is the assurance that you wouldn't have stray from him as you did now, huh?"

Annabeth wanted to defend herself from her attacks, but she didn't have any way to counter them. It was true, too true for her to just ignored it. If she cheated on Percy when his life was a major play on the future, what is there to say that she wouldn't cheat on him in the future just because he is tired from work and isn't giving her the attention she'deserves' because he wants to rest?

"You don't get it Annabeth, but I'll lay it as simple as possible for you," She spoke before taking a step closer to the crying daughter of Athena. "You don't get to cheat and say that it was unintended, that is called rape, not cheating. Unless I tied you down and forced you to have sex with me, then there is no way that it is only my fault when I just put the attempts and you responded, and quite quickly may I add," She cruelly laid the cold hard truth to Annabeth. Each word was like a stab to her heart and pride, but nothing hurt more than the thought of what Percy would have felt when he learned about her affair.

"I'm letting you know that from now on," The daughter of Aphrodite made to turn around and leave. "We are done, don't come to me when you expect me to comfort you after what you said,"

Annabeth numbly stood there as she saw the retreating figure of her former lover. It didn't hurt as much, not even a fraction of what it hurt when Percy broke up with her, but it still hurt. She knew that everything was her fault for willingly falling under her charms when she had been dating Percy happily.

The daughter of Athena just sat at the edge of Olympus and looked out into the city as tears fell from her eyes. It was going to take her some time, but she will eventually come out of it and make up for her mistakes. Maybe Percy will give her a chance if he sees she is loyal to him, but there was still the situation of him being a traitor and Olympus public enemy number 1.

She let out a tired sigh as she touched the strand of silver hair that she had gotten along with Percy when they took the sky. "I miss you, Seaweed brain. I'm sorry," She tightly closed her eyes as sobs came out of her mouth and completely lost track of everything around her until she fell asleep.

Line Break

Percy had always had prophetic dreams or nightmares about his worst times every time he would go to sleep. However, this time around, sleeping with Zoe in his arms stopped those dreams from happening, in reality, he didn't dream at all. All he felt was closing his eyes and waking up the next day as if he have had the best sleep in his life.

He slowly opened his eyes and noticed the familiar set of caramel-colored hair in front of him. His arms were wrapped around her frame and could feel her hands rubbing the back of one of his, meaning that she was already awake.

"Good morning, Zoe," Percy buried his face in her hair and took a deep breath of her forest and cinnamon scent.

Zoe felt shivers all around her body the moment she felt Percy inhaling her scent. "G-good morning to you too, Percy," She slightly stuttered as she move her left arm back to rub his scalp. "How did you sleep?"

"Hmm, very good, best sleep since I can remember," He confessed while slightly shifting to see the time. "It's already 9, we should probably get out and find Nyx and Erebus," He suggested and Zoe nodded.

"Yeah, they probably already know that we are awake," She slowly sat up before turning to Percy's laying figure. "But before we do that, here," She hesitantly leaned down as silver and a red blush crept on her cheeks. Once Zoe was right above his face, she gave him a small peck on his lips.

Percy was slightly surprised by her actions since he thought that she would want to take things very slowly because of her past as a huntress. He wanted to properly taste her lips but he knew that it was better not to push her. After all, she was still fairly new to the entire dating situation and he was still a bit confused about his feelings. He knew that he felt attracted to her, but he just didn't know if it was as strong as he felt or if it was his emotions from his parents' death.

"Let's go," Zoe brought him back from his thoughts before pulling him up with her.

"Ugh, I hate mornings," Percy groaned as he put on his shoes while Zoe waited for him at the foot of the bed.

Once they were out of the room, it took them a while to find the living room, where Nyx and Erebus were already there waiting for them. Nyx had a knowing smile while Erebus just rolled his eyes at seeing how much his wife was enjoying this.

"I see that you too had a nice sleep, together," She smiled mischievously, erupting a blush from Zoe and Percy. Percy's was a combination of gold and red while Zoe's was red and silver. "Oh, I'm just teasing you two," Nyx giggled.

"Please, just try and ignore Nyx's teasing," Erebus stated, ignoring Nyx's piercing gaze on him. "It's been a couple of millions of years since she had the opportunity to chat and have some fun with anyone that wasn't family, of course, if you leave out the first time we meet," Erebus signaled for the younger beings in the room to sit.

Zoe and Percy took a seat on the gray couch with Zoe leaning on Percy. It was still a bit unusual for the two of them to act in such a way, but they also felt comfortable doing such a simple act with each other. Zoe knew that the way that their current relationship was in between a friends and couple stage, so she wanted to try things out. She knew that she had to be the one to take the initiative since Percy was too much of a gentleman to try anything, especially with her past as a huntress.

"As we said yesterday, Percy, we are really sorry for your loss," Nyx spoke first. Her tone was motherly and soft.

Nyx's tone reminded Percy of his mother's tone that she would use with him every time he felt down or something bad was happening. The memory of his mother brought a tear to his eye but he quickly swat it away.

"Thanks, Nyx. I just can't stop thinking that it was my fault," Percy confessed as his voice slightly broke and look down at the floor.

Zoe immediately felt his mood shift and wrapped her arms around him and placed her head on his shoulder to try and comfort him. She had already done it before and was confident that he would react. No sooner said than done, Percy engulfed her in a tight hug.

Nyx and Erebus gave him empathetic smiles and let Zoe work her magic. They both knew that Percy was in desperate need of comfort. Nyx had done it when it was recent and Zoe the previous night. Now, they needed Percy to fully trust in Zoe in order to see them advance in their relationship.

It took a couple of minutes before Percy was composed and ready to continue talking. Zoe had never left him and had an arm wrapped around his back while her other hand held his hand.

"We need to talk about our proposal and your agreement to it," Nyx stated in a serious tone that they could only remember her using the last time they talked about their proposal.

Flashback

"We want you to be the new leaders of Earth with us primordial as your guidance," Nyx stated.

Percy and Zoe were so surprised that didn't process the information until a couple of seconds later.

"Wait, wait wait wait. You are kidding, right?" Percy uneasily asked.

Zoe nodded her head at hearing their proposal. She had originally thought that their proposal would be to become their champions or something like that so they can do things for them in exchange of protection from the gods. But to actually hear that they wanted both of them to be leaders of the world was just too insane.

Nyx shook her head and Erebus explained. "We primordials have been having discussions about Zeus' unjust rule and how much of a tyrant and emperor he has become instead of a king with a democratic rule. We have been trying to find a way to get him off of his throne since the first giant war, but we have never had the perfect replacement for him until you arrive," Erebus said the last part while looking at Percy.

Before Percy and Zoe could respond, Nyx continued. "Yes, we have seen your life ever since you first returned that idiot's electric toothpick and we have never seen someone more worthy than you. You are brave, courageous, selfless, loyal, and sympathetic. All the qualities that a proper leader must have in order to appease everyone's needs while keeping justice in balance,"

Percy still couldn't believe their words, but Zoe finally understood why they chose Percy. It was clear that there had been no one else like Percy, or at least with half of his qualities while still being a soldier himself.

"But I'm not a leader," Percy tried to argue but Nyx and Erebus just snorted while Zoe rolled her eyes. "What?"

"Come on, Perseus, you really think that you aren't a leader?" Nyx asked with a raised eyebrow and Percy nodded. "Then, tell me, how did you make the demigods defend Olympus when Kronos attacked Manhattan?"

Percy shrugged his shoulders. "I told them that it was our home in jeopardy and if we didn't defend Olympus, our world would be destroyed,"

Nyx nodded and Erebus continued. "Exactly, but over the years, they had seen you for who you are. A warrior with a right heart that would do anything for the right thing. You have done the impossible with every odd against you with nothing more than your courage and determination. They see you as a beacon of hope and power. You have the character to not only be a leader but to become a king that will go down in history as the best in history,"

Percy was speechless. Zoe couldn't help but agree with the primordial of darkness and about Percy being the perfect king. His own values and character will keep him from becoming arrogant and prideful as Zeus is. She knew that Percy would need a queen by his side if he was to become king.

The thought of some woman being by Percy's side didn't settle well with her. Zoe knew exactly what those feelings were, but she was trying really hard to keep them suppressed.

"Of course, you can't rule by yourself and will need a council to help guide you to rule while bringing any issues directly to you," Nyx added before looking at Zoe. "That is where Miss Nightshade comes into play. She knows a tyrant when she sees one and can keep you from going stray. She can be your right hand in your rule and will be respected by everyone since she will be over everyone except yourself and your queen," Nyx said with a mischievous smile.

Percy almost choked on nothing at the thought of having a queen, meaning that he will have to find somebody that he loves to the point of asking her to be his wife and accept the duty of a queen. He had a really good idea who would do a great job at it and will keep him in check. He felt his cheeks heat up at the thought of the woman sitting next to him being his wife and queen.

Suddenly, he shook his head at his thoughts. He was getting too far into the future when he still didn't want to be a king. Percy knew that it came with great responsibilities and was a different lifestyle in all.

"But I don't want to be king," Percy responded, completely oblivious to Zoe's disappointed face. "I am not a king nor ever will be. I am just a soldier that works better at the front lines doing somebody else's orders,"

Nyx and Erebus shook their heads at Percy's words before the embodiment of the night started explaining. "You aren't Percy. You are a leader that isn't afraid of fighting for his own beliefs and the safety of the innocents. You put your life on the line to prevent others from suffering such a fate as yourself. You aren't a coward like Zeus, you are a true king that will fight for his people and his beliefs. What better place to put your loyalty into than the people you protect and they look up to you?"

Nyx's words made Percy really think about her words. He knew that his loyalty was something that had always driven him to do the unspeakable but to actually think of him ruling over the entire Earth, was just too much for him to properly process.

"You don't have to give us an answer right now, Perseus, "Erebus stated, giving him a supporting smile. "We are just going to tell you of what you, being king, consists of, and if you decide to refuse our offer, then we won't ask of you to do it,"

Percy nodded and took a deep breath to hear them out.

"With you being king, you won't have to answer to anyone but us, the primordials, which basically consists of the original ones plus our children, Aither and Hemera. You will also have to answer to Chaos if she ever wishes to present herself to you. You will have complete control over anything going on on Earth and will rule as a new generation of immortals completely different from the Titans and gods," Nyx explained and Zoe and Percy were intrigued by the last part.

"What do you mean by different from the Titans and the gods?" Zoe was the one who asked.

"You won't be gods or Titans, you will be a race that will be directly above them but have a completely new name for your category," Erebus responded before going back to explain a few more things in detail.

End of Flashback

"You do know that your accepting our offer means that you will be king, right?" Erebus asked to reassure.

Percy nodded his head. "Yes, I've been giving it some thought throughout the last couple of weeks and want to give this planet the fate it deserves. A new start with no corruption. A new start that will ensure the happiness of people while keeping crime at a low. I know that my parents' deaths pushed me, but Zeus' and the council are corrupted to the point of killing innocent mortals because of something they fear can take their power. I know that not all of the gods and goddesses were on board with him, but I know that as long as Zeus is on the throne, there will never be change," He stated with a determined and cold expression across his face, making the people in the room smile at his words.

"Good, then it's time to start our plans,"

Time Skip(1 week on Tartarus, 1 day on Earth)

"Come on! You can do better!" Erebus encouraged Percy and Zoe, who were currently training.

The primordial of darkness and shadows was sitting on a chair looking over Percy and Zoe's training with his wife Nyx. The embodiment of the night was fighting them with her powers while they defended themselves with their own. They had settled into a schedule to train their powers for different situations. They first were starting with the defense before moving to offense.

Nyx sent a spear of darkness at them but Zoe was quick to shift the ground to create a wall of pure rock. The spear cracked the wall but it was successfully stopped. Percy then used his powers from Hyperion to melt the rock into molten lava just enough for Zoe to mold it into a giant shield.

"Good, now try to model it into different shapes, it can help you greatly before it hardens," Nyx suggested.

Percy kept the heat around the shield as Zoe commanded the molten rock to change into a miniature castle wall. She got the idea from her time watching the crusades and archers using the castle walls to rain volleys of arrows into the enemy lines raiding their cities.

The son of Poseidon then removed all of the heat from the rocks and it gradually cooled until it turned into rock. He felt good about his powers finally coming to him than before since he could just summon fire and light, never direct heat to objects.

"Good job! Both of you," Nyx praise them with a smile as she approached them. "Zoe, good job in your reaction and summoning that rock to initially stop the spear and then changing it to the wall for defense and offense," She then turned to Percy. "And you are finally showing progress on your powers in just one week, nice. But I also can't help but notice that as much as you are good with it, it is not your domain," She said the last part with a frown.

Percy was surprised that Nyx was able to tell that he still didn't feel comfortable with the domain of heavenly light, but he had to give it to the primordial, it really wasn't his domain. Erebus nodded as he found his way to them while Zoe was just silently listening to Nyx talk about Percy's new domain.

"Yeah, I feel like I am straining too much even if they come easier than my powers from my father. It is like I am using something that isn't mine or isn't supposed to be mine," Percy confessed and Nyx nodded.

"Yeah, that is exactly what it feels like when you don't fuse with one of your domains. You have the power and can easily use it, but you don't feel comfortable on it, it is like using a watch that fits you, but it's too heavy or light for your comfort," Erebus stated before snapping his fingers and two cups filled with nectar appeared in front of them.

Percy and Zoe gratefully gulped down the nectar and felt their energy come back to them. Since they were almost full immortals, their bodies could handle almost 3 times the number of godly foods and liquids than when they were only half-divine.

"Then how can I fix that? How can I find my domain?" Percy asked, a bit unsure of how to proceed from there.

"What you need to do, is find that feeling in yourself that makes you, you. It can be a feeling of love, darkness, happiness, etc... After finding that feeling, you need to see to which things it is attached to. It can be that your greatest feeling is feeling relaxed and you only feel that when you are in the middle of a forest, surrounded by wildlife and nothing else other than nature,"

Zoe understood Nyx's words as that is what she felt like when in the middle of a forest. She felt herself in the middle of nature. The wind gently blowing through the trees, the smooth grass on her feet, tall trees and bushes adorning the scene in a combination of greens and colorful colors from their flowers and fruits. The feeling of nature itself was what made her feel so alive and like herself, probably which is why Gaea's domain of the Earth was compatible with her.

"Okay, but what am I going to do to get that domain? It's not like I can just go up and take a deity's domain because that is what my domain is," Percy pointed out and Nyx and Erebus nodded.

"That is where our sister Ananke comes into play," Percy and Zoe were shocked to hear about Ananke for the first time since arriving there. "She will help you with your domains after you finally find it. Since you are going to be the first one of this new generation of immortals, there is no need for you to kill that deity, that domain is going to be given by Ananke after you have found it and have someone to give the domain of heavenly light to. The only one who will essentially be from a different race will be Zoe since she will be a primordial," Erebus explained and Percy and Zoe nodded. All in all, it was pretty simple and easy, but it would take Percy time to figure out his domain.

"Alright, now, even if you two are at the peak of your skills and physical abilities, you need to get used to fighting the ways we immortals fight," Nyx stated, resuming their training with her.

"Ooh, this is going to be fun," They heard Erebus excitingly say as Nyx went over how it was going to work.

"We immortals don't fight the way you do. We fight at speeds that are impossible for the mortal eye to capture. We move at speeds that are around half the speed of light, with only Hemera, Aither, and Chaos being faster than the speed of light," Nyx explained before appearing right in front of them, causing them to jump back from the shock.

"Damn it! You really move that fast?!" Percy was gobsmacked at seeing how fast Nyx appeared in front of them without having to shadow travel.

"Yes, the only reason why we fight at the speed you are used to is because a mortal is involved. If no mortals were involved, the fights wouldn't last a minute but the destruction would have been catastrophic, making the asteroid that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs look like child's play," To prove her point, she surrounded her fist in dark purple energy before punching the ground, causing an earthquake greater than any of Percy and Poseidon's.

"Wow, good thing I didn't have to fight Gaea like an immortal, or I would have been dead without me even knowing," Percy confessed, making Zoe shiver at the thought of it.

"Yes, but also, our fights don't take place in this reality, they take place in another plane of existence in which all damage we cause, is neglected from the real world. In other words, it is like a mirror of our world but anything that happens there doesn't affect the real world," Nyx continued before showing them a glimpse of the mirror world.

The world was just like the place they were, just that everything was mirrored. In more simple words, everything was backward. Their right was left and their left was right. The air was the same but the lightning of it had a violet tone instead of the original dark and red skies of Tartarus.

"The little differences are what you can tell that you aren't in the real world," Nyx brought them back to the real world once again. "Only immortals can reach that plane of existence and is only ever used when two powerful immortals are fighting so that they can prevent any damage from happening,"

Percy and Zoe nodded, filing the information for later use. Nyx and Erebus then spent a good time showing them a bit of how to fight at such speeds so that they can know when the time comes for them to fight at such speeds.

"Okay, but I still need to find my domain," Percy pointed out, a bit annoyed that he needed to do extra work to find it.

Nyx and Erebus nodded. "Yes, it can take a while, but don't stress yourself, you can use that time to properly learn how to be a king and also we can start by modeling the city you will be mainly operating from. Oh! You can also get to meet the other primordials so you can get to interact with them," Nyx ranted before she stopped when she noticed her husband's look. "Oh, sorry, it's just that it has been a while since things have been this interesting and exciting!"

Percy and Zoe couldn't help but smile at seeing Nyx act so cherished and human. It was almost like she wasn't immortal if it weren't for the fact that her clothes were always made out of pure darkness and her midnight-black hair had silver dots in it.

"Yes, but I believe it was enough training and teaching for today, they need to rest so that Zoe can get better with her domains, and Percy to try and find his own domain(s)," Erebus suggested as he noticed the state of their students.

Zoe and Percy were more than grateful to Erebus for stopping his wife from driving them to complete exhaustion. They knew that even when Nyx meant the best, she can still be a pain in the ass and train them up to the point of passing out.

Nyx agreed and both students left for their rooms for a long night of well-deserved rest.

Line Break

Percy and Zoe were asleep in Percy's room, which had become their room. Zoe was laying on her back while her arms were wrapped around Percy and the son of the sea had his head on her shoulder and an arm wrapped around her.

The son of Poseidon was slightly shifting during his sleep as he felt his mind being intruded on by another being. He couldn't tell who it was, but it was a being so strong that it was able to get through the wards that Nyx and Erebus had placed around The House of Night.

Percy suddenly found himself in an empty white room with the exception of two chairs and a table in the middle of it. He was apprehensive of whoever it was that had intruded his mind since only beings as strong and stronger than his hosts could do it.

He looked around the room until his eyes settled on a figure that had just appeared sitting down on the chair across from him. It was a small girl, probably around 8 or 9 years old. She had silver hair that cascaded down her back to her hips. Her asking was completely white and almost transparent, as if she was a ghost or something similar to it. Her cheeks still had that baby fat that made her look adorable with the combination of her purple-galaxy eyes.

"Hello, Perseus Jackson, it's about time we meet," The girl spoke in a soft and sweet tone, it was almost motherly, but he could sense a tiny bit of superiority in it.

"Hello, who are you?" Percy hesitantly asked as he took a seat on the chair as the girl signaled for him.

The girl snapped her fingers two cups filled with a silver liquid appeared in front of them. "I've been called many names throughout history, Perseus. Some of them are: The oldest, the first being, the creator, God, Ra, Tezcatlipoca, and many more. But the one you know me as is Chaos," The girl replied with one of his lopsided smiles.

Percy blinked when he first heard her name, but then it all made sense. It was difficult to believe, but he had to believe her. The way that the girl in front of him was capable of entering his mind during his sleep after Nyx and Erebus placed wards around their mansion, the way the girl looked calmed and radiated an aura of pure and raw power. They were just signaling that the girl was way stronger than Nyx and Erebus, and he could believe it.

"Lady Chaos, it's an honor to meet you," Percy started getting out of his chair to bow but Chaos flicked her hand, making it impossible for him to move.

"No need for formalities, Perseus. My children had deemed you worthy of being the first to ever use The Law of the Champion that I created when I first created the universe, so you are more than worthy to not bow to me," Chaos replied with a proud smile, almost as if she had witnessed all of the things he had done in life and was genuinely proud of him, which didn't sound too weird since she was an omnipotent being and could see and know everything she wanted.

"Th-thank you, La- Chaos," Percy stuttered at being praised by the creator herself.

Chaos gave him another sweet and proud smile. "There is no need, Perseus. Fate has been really cruel to you and you still haven't given up. On the contrary, you stood back up and flip them off to do what Nyx and Erebus propose to you," Chaos then snapped her fingers and a ball the size of a basketball appeared in front of them.

The ball was composed of pure raw energy swirls that varied from different colors. The most prominent one was the purple-galaxy one that was the same tone as Chaos' eyes. There had only been two other spheres that were similar to it, but smaller and didn't radiate anywhere near the same amount of power as the one Chaos summoned.

"Is that what I think it is?" Percy hesitantly asked, not trying to get ahead of himself as Chaos presented him with it.

"Yes, I saw that you were having trouble finding your domains, am I right?" Chaos rhetorically asked but Percy still nodded. "I could have let you struggle in finding your domains, but it would have taken the following two chapters for it and I am not in the mood to wait for so long," Chaos muttered the last part for herself but Percy could hear her and raised an eyebrow.

"What are you talking about? Chapters? Is that like a term for years or...?" Percy was really confused as to what Chaos was talking about.

The creator just giggled to herself before dismissing him with a wave from her hand. "Don't worry about it, Perseus, creator stuff with another being," Chaos looked to the fourth wall and winked. "Now, as I said before; I could have let you find your domains on your own, but it would take too long and divine beings get them when they are born, so there is no need to make you go through that hazle,"

Percy was honestly surprised that the creator had taken such interest in him that was saving him the problem of having to find his own domain. But then another thought came to his mind, wasn't Ananke the one to give him his domain?

"I can see that you have a question, Perseus. You can ask it," Chaos pointed out, even though she already knew his question.

He was slightly surprised that she already knew, but then again, an omnipotent being in front of him. "Yeah, okay. Nyx and Erebus told me that Ananke was going to be the one to give me my domain(s). So, why are you the one giving them to me? Not that I mind at all, Lady Chaos, it is an honor," He quickly added the last part as he noticed how his words sounded while he sheepishly rub the back of his neck.

Chaos just giggled at his discomfort and just wave her hand. "There are several reasons why I am the one giving you your domains, Perseus," She responded in a more serious tone, which was weird coming from an 8-year-old. "First of all, Ananke can't give you your domains because she doesn't have control over them like I do. Secondly, I am the one with the final call on whether an immortal receives their domains or not. Last but not least, I just wanted to finally meet the person to be the first in receiving such domains," Chaos responded in an entire breath, which Percy believe she didn't need to breathe, to begin with.

Percy listened to her reasons and couldn't find an error in her logic. It was clear that Chaos had the final saying in everything if she just as much wanted. But then he noticed her first reason. What domain can't Ananke give since she doesn't have the power to give it? Ananke was on top of the fates and she can order them around with the fates being her bitches and doing every word she says.

"Wait, what domains are so powerful that she can't give them? And why am I getting such powerful domains?" Percy asked as he took another look at the ball of energy in front of him.

Chaos smiled without taking her eyes off his. "My own powers,"

Line Break

Percy woke up with a gasp. He rolled from his bed as he felt an incredible amount of pain surge through his body. He could feel how his golden ichor had turned into white ichor, not gold nor silver, white. It was one of the things that Chaos had explained to him before the full change took place.

"Huh? Percy? Percy?!" Zoe had been woken up by Percy's sudden movements and groans of pain.

She was immediately worried when she saw him rolling on the ground while trying to keep a scream of pain from coming out. She immediately got off the bed and tried to calm Percy, but he couldn't seem to tell her that she was there at all.

"Percy? What is going on?! Come on, just breathe," She tried to reassure him but nothing was working.

The next moment, Nyx and Erebus appeared in the room after they heard the commotion and felt a familiar presence enter their domain. They noticed Percy's state and immediately restrained him to keep him from causing damage to anyone and himself.

"What is going on?" Zoe asked in her state of fear as she saw Percy fighting against the restraints.

"We don't know what is happening to him. The only thing we could tell you is that his aura is exponentially increasing and the mortal part of his body is reducing, almost a complete immortal," Erebus was the first to answer as Nyx was trying to calm Percy.

"Can't you do something to help him?!" Zoe demanded, desperate to try and ease the pain of her boyfriend.

Erebus and Nyx didn't take her tone personally since they knew that the girl was desperate to make Percy better. They knew what had happened, his powers and immortality were taking place, but there were still another two steps to go.

"Unfortunately, we can't. This process is burning away his mortal part while making his immortal one grow. He needs to go through the pain if he wants to turn into a full immortal," Erebus answered as he took a seat next to Nyx, who was caressing Percy's face in a way to soothe him, but it wasn't working.

Zoe took a deep breath to try and control her emotions before sitting next to the primordials. "How long is this process?" She asked as took hold of Percy's hand.

Erebus was quiet and Nyx was the one who answered. "We don't know. With him being a new type of immortal, we have no knowledge of how long the process takes. The process is too delicate for anyone to interfere or he will most certainly lose the battle and end up dying in the process. It is better to not intervene and let Percy fight for himself,"

Zoe helplessly nodded without taking her eyes off Percy. She understood Nyx's worries about them interfering in the process to try and alleviate some of his pain. There were basically shooting in the dark with this and it was better to take the safe route. There were too many dark spots that needed to be filled and they weren't going to experiment on Percy, who is to become the future king of the entire Earth, which is her domain.

Now that Zoe actually thought about it, Percy will essentially be ruling over her domain. Yes, the Earth is her domain but Percy has the final saying in anything that is necessary. However, if it was anyone else who was to be ruling over he domain, she wouldn't want anybody else than her boyfriend. Even if they weren't in a trying relationship, she will still want Percy to be the one ruling over it.

With those and many more thoughts, Zoe sat next to Nyx and Erebus, watching over Percy's groaning and grunting form, on the bed.

Line Break

The process had taken a bit over 12 hours to finally finish. Nyx and Erebus had told Zoe that Percy had become fully immortal and that he just needed rest. What they didn't tell Zoe, was that his power aura was very similar to Chaos', but that was for a conversation when Percy is awake.

Zoe had never left Percy's side the entire time that the process was taking place. When Nyx and Erebus told her that the process was done and that he was just resting, she retook her spot next to Percy on the bed before falling asleep, thankful for Percy going over the process and turning fully immortal.

It was the next day when Percy was fully awake, feeling like he had just woken up from having the best sleep of his life. The first thing he felt when he was regaining consciousness was his very acute hearing as well as smell. He felt all of his senses being heightened proportionally that he would compare them to having the smell of a dog, the sight of an eagle, the taste of a catfish, the touch of mole, and the hearing of a bat.

Percy had to momentarily grab his head when he was suddenly hit by all of his heightened senses at once, but once he calmed down and took a couple of deep breaths, they reduced up to the point of a normal human being.

"Ugh, I never want to feel that again," He groaned after he finally got his senses under control.

His audible discomfort had woken up Zoe, who immediately tackled him into a hug the moment she got control over her limbs and hear his voice.

"Zoe! Air!" He gasped out.

Zoe let go of his neck and immediately planted the biggest kiss that they have had on his lips. She didn't know what had driven her to suddenly do it, but she just felt it and wasn't going to oppose it to finally properly kissing her boyfriend after a long week of chaste pecks on the lips.

The moment their lips touched with such ferocity from Zoe, it sent a shock down their spines, making them shiver from the euphoric feeling. Percy was momentarily shocked but soon got his bearings and returned the kiss with as much passion and energy as Zoe. It was something amazing for the two of them that couldn't compare it to anything else. Not even the more intimate and heated kisses that Percy had shared with Annabeth were near the one he was having with Zoe at that instant.

Percy took hold of her hips before unconsciously moving her to his lap. Zoe was initially surprised by his boldness but didn't stop him, she actually enjoyed it. It was mostly a mental battle for her to let herself go and let Percy manhandle her, but she wouldn't want it to be anyone else. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders to push her boy as close as possible to his.

The son of Poseidon felt how her breasts were pushed up against his chest, making lust flourish from deep down in him, something that he haven't felt since Annabeth broke his heart. He wanted to take it to another level, but he knew that it was still too soon for them to go anywhere to it.

Reluctantly, Percy broke the kiss, earning him a whimper from Zoe that made him smirk at seeing how much she really liked him and wanted him, but that was for another day. Percy looked into her earth-green and brown eyes with his own and new purple-galaxy eyes with tints of sea-green on them.

Zoe gasped at seeing the new color of his eyes as well as finally noticing the changes that took over the course of their sleep. His hair was changed back to his raven-black hair but now had the tips colored snow-white. His bronze skin was paler but still healthy. The other change of his was that his hair was slightly moving in non-existent air for some reason.

"Wha-what? What is wrong?" Percy worriedly asked after he noticed her shock.

Zoe blinked several times while looking at his new features before coming back to his eyes the most. The strange combination of galaxy-purple and sea-green was surprisingly good, especially when the colors were barely moving in swirls.

"Y-your eyes change, as well as your asking and hair," Zoe stuttered before shaking herself to get rid of her trance. "They changed from being golden to purple and your hair is back to completely black but your points are now completely white. Your skin lost its bronze tone and now is paler but still tan," Zoe listed off before she noticed that his hair stopped moving.

"Also, your hair was slightly moving without air, almost like if so much power was radiating off you, causing your hair to move without any air," Zoe added.

Percy was slightly confused as to what it meant for his hair to be moving when there isn't any hair. The only deity that he could think of that he has seen their move float or move without any source of force is Hecate during the battle in The Acropolis. Which now that he thought about it made sense after he remembered what Chaos told him before giving him her powers.

"I have a very good idea why it was moving," Percy pointed out, which Zoe nodded and waited for his response but Percy just moved her out of his lap and got out of bed. She was disappointed that their most intimate moment had been finished but was just too happy to care about it. "But let's go talk to Nyx and Erebus, I believe they will also want an explanation along with you of what happened,"

Zoe nodded and rapidly got out of bed and changed into better clothes before going out to the living room to talk to the primordial couple.

Line Break

It had taken them almost no time at all for Nyx and Erebus to show up and patiently waited for Percy to start explaining. Zoe was by his side the entire time, holding to one of his arms to assure him that she was there for him, which he was more than grateful for.

After a couple of minutes of Percy bringing them up to speed of what Chaos told him, it was an understatement to say that the three of them were shocked. To hear that Chaos, the mother of the universe, was interested in Percy so much that she decided to give him his domains and finish his process to become immortal and almost fully adopt his domains.

"Wait, and did Chaos explain her powers? Because everybody believes that it is creation," Zoe pointed out, which Nyx and Erebus nodded in agreement since it has been one of the most debated topics in their family.

Chaos was the oldest being in existence. She was so old that she spent so much time alone that when she created the universe, she was at least 3 times as old as the current time that has passed since she created the universe. Many of the primordials believed that Chaos created another universe before theirs and just created a new blank with them since she didn't like the previous one. That possibility had made all primordials nervous about angering Chaos so much that she just erases the universe with just the snap of her fingers before starting again.

However, they know that Chaos was the empty space of reality as well as anything and nothing. It was so confusing to them that they just believed that Chaos had the powers to manipulate energy and create things or she is just so powerful that created them one day when she was bored. Never in history, has there been another being with powers similar to Chaos nor someone near as powerful as the creator, not even at their fullest: Nyx, Gae, and Erebus combined could reach the creator's heels in terms of powers

So, having Percy say that he got Chaos' powers but on a lesser scale was just mindblowing. They could finally seal the debate of which are Chaos' real domain(s).

"So, did she explain what her powers were?" Zoe was the one to ask. She was more than happy to hear that her boyfriend had caught the interest of the mother of creation. It did bring her some worries, but she knew her boyfriend was loyal. "Are them of creation?"

Percy moved his head in a so-so way, erupting several questioning gazes. He sighed at what will become a great headache in trying to explain his powers properly.

"Okay, so please let me explain before you ask any questions because it is a lot to unpack, alright?" Percy stated and all of them nodded. Percy nodded back and took a deep breath while thinking of the best way to explain them.

"Basically, my domain is Magic of Chaos," Percy initiated and raised a hand to stop Nyx from asking. "What it basically means is that I can manipulate any domain after having enough practice and I learn to use the energy in the universe to use them. What the magic principal of the domain is, is that it lets me manipulate all domains without having an exact domain, or a few domains. The 'magic' deities out there aren't actual magic deities. They are only focused on one side of the magic and their power is just a fraction of mine after I practice it. If they were able to control all forms of magic, they could use anybody's domain against them at their own level," Percy quickly explained, making all of them nod at the logic behind it.

Having just a couple of magical beings in just one type of field is enough disaster, imagining them being able to use their magic in all forms is just terrifying at the amount of destruction and chaos they could bring.

"For instance, if Hecate were to have the same amount of power controlling lighting as she does in necromancy, she would have dethroned the paranoic king of the gods even before he could say a word. The same would go for any domain, that is why hers is focused on necromancy and darkness. While mine will be focusing on everything and nothing in existence," Percy finished, feeling a bit proud of himself at how well he explained it.

Finally, Zoe raised a hand to ask a question to her boyfriend. Percy nodded and Zoe took a moment to properly process everything. "So, your domain is magic, which basically lets you manipulate everything in existence at which level? Titan? God? Primordial?" She pointed out, which was a good question.

Percy nodded, already expecting that question after Chaos pointed it out to him, which he was sure that Chaos already knew that was going to be asked. "Yes, but my level is different from the other immortals. While I am going to be stronger than the Titans and gods with enough training and time, I can't say with primordials since I won't get my full power until our new council is formed,"

They nodded and Nyx asked the new question. "Why were Chaos' domains yours? It's not that it's bad, but why? I would have believed that it had to do something with water since it was your birth power. But to hear that you got my mother's powers is just mindblowing,"

Percy nodded, already expecting that question. "Chaos explained to me that since I was going to be king, I needed to have control over everyone in the council if anyone was to be corrupt or lash out. She took it into consideration after she noticed that nobody could go up against Zeus because nobody could counter his powers, especially my father since his domain of water just makes electricity worst. She also told me that it was because I am not attached to one or a few domains, my character is based on balance and chaos at the same time. I can't just be one because I would be against my own self,"

They nodded, finally understanding Percy's domain and the reason why Chaos had given it to him. Nyx and Erebus nodded at each other at finally learning about their mother's domains and how they actually work.

"Alright," Nyx announced, gaining the attention of the new immortal and his girlfriend. "This is great news and it means that your actual training can finally start," She gave him a mischievous smile that sent shivers up the spines of both Percy and Zoe. "I'll be waiting for both of you in our training area outside, be there in 10!" She ordered before disappearing in a swirl of shadows.

Percy and Zoe stood there, stunned at Nyx's sudden mood change. Zoe was finally starting to see how men complain about women being bipolar. They were brought back to reality by Erebus' cough.

"I would be going to get ready if I were you. I wouldn't like to see what she will do if you get there late," Erebus innocently wondered out loud, causing both trainees to spring to their room to get ready, not wanting to see what the embodiment of the night would do to them if they were late.

Erebus chuckled at seeing the couple running down the hallway. "Haaa, children. I'll never get tired of them," He then got up from his spot and vanished in a swirl of shadows to be ready to see his wife drill Zoe and Percy for the next couple of hours.
