Chapter Eight

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing and extremely confused. Why the hell was I in my car? I checked my phone and I instantly started freaking out.

"Fuck." I cranked my car and started driving home. I can't believe I fucking fell asleep after work. I had dozens of messages and calls and my dad reported me missing. After I got off from the clinic yesterday I got asked to work a PRN shift at the hospital and forgot to tell anyone. I was so tired when I got off I fell asleep in the parking lot of Starbucks. My phone started ringing again and I answered.

"Hello."

"Bella. Thank god." I could hear the relief and tears in my dads voice. I could hear people in the background crying.

"Daddy I'm sorry. I was so tired after work I fell asleep in a parking lot. I didn't mean to worry you I promise. I'm so sorry." I cried into the phone. I genuinely felt bad. I'm my dads only child and I can only imagine how he felt.

"S'okay Bells. Please just get home quickly and safely."

"Okay, I'm sorry." I went to hang up but my dad got my attention before I could.

"I love you Bella."

"I love you too daddy." My voice broke at the end. I really scared the shit out of my dad and I can't imagine how everyone else feels. Especially Paul.

I had been driving for about 20 minutes when I saw a man standing in the middle of the road. I honked but he didn't move and as I got closer, I realized it was Paul. I pulled over and got out of the car. He didn't waste any time taking me in his arms.

"Paul, I'm sorry." He didn't respond, he just continued to breathe in my scent for a few minutes. Good thing it wasn't raining today or we would be completely soaked. Finally, we got in the car. He pulled out onto the road and drove a couple miles before he talked to me.

"You're quitting the PRN job. You're working yourself too hard and you scared the shit out of all of us."

"Okay." I responded quietly. Paul didn't really give me a choice which isn't like him and he was right so I chose not to argue with him. He told me that my dad filed a missing person report when I didn't show up for work this morning and put an APB out for my car. The pack ran to the hospital and they smelled leech in the parking lot so they started freaking out assuming the worst.

Too soon we arrived at my parents house. As soon as I was out of the car I was in my dad's arms. Mom snatched me out of his arms and hugged me tightly before saying, "Don't you ever scare us like that again Isabella. I know you were tired but call someone to pick you up or go to Angela, Katie, and Jessica's house."

She had tears streaming down her face and I felt awful. I noticed Leah was crying too which was shocking. We walked into the house and I went to shower. After going straight from the clinic to the hospital and then falling asleep in my car, I felt disgusting. I quickly dressed after my shower and went downstairs for dinner. We all fixed our plates and started eating.

"Bella," my dad got my attention, "You need to quit one of your jobs. Things like this can't happen again."

"I know. Paul said the same thing. I'm gonna quit my PRN job. I'm sorry." I squeezed his hand and continued eating. Paul, my dad, and Seth started talking about sports after that and I listened to Sue and Leah's drama at the hospital. They were both RN's at Forks General.

After dinner Paul asked me to stay with him. I figured after the huge scare I caused the man and the wolf both needed me. He didn't live far so we decided to walk since it still wasn't raining. There was a comfortable silence around us as we trekked to his house. Not even a second after we walked through the door he had me pinned to it pushing my shorts down my legs, "I need you baby."

"Take me." I breathed.

He lifted me and carried me to the kitchen, bending me over the table and entering me in one swift movement. There was nothing slow and sweet about it. This was l raw need and I loved every second of it. He thrust into me at an unforgivable pace. He roared and I felt his teeth pierce my neck marking me again which caused me to climax. He licked it to help it heal then just held me.

"Did I hurt you? I know I was rough." He asked looking into my eyes.

"No baby. I liked it probably a little too much." I laughed. We took a shower then decided to watch a movie. I felt myself dozing off again and soon sleep took over me.

The next morning I woke up to Paul under the covers taking me to a state of bliss.

"Paul." I moaned, shoving my hands into his hair as he continued to lick me. He thrust his fingers inside of me and curved them until he hit my g-spot.

"You taste so good, baby." He said as he kissed my slit then dove back in. I arched my back off the bed and my legs shook. Paul started sucking on my bundle of nerves and I was so loud at this point that the whole pack could probably hear me. It was starting to be too much and I tried to scramble up the bed. Paul yanked me back, "Don't run. Take it like a good girl."

"Babe I-I'm gonna,"

"Let go babe." As soon as he said that I burst. I rose up shocked and embarrassed. The bed and Paul's face were soaked, "oh my god I'm so sorry."

Paul grabbed my face and kissed me hard, "Don't ever be sorry for that."

I nodded and pulled him back to my lips. He lined himself up and my entrance and rubbed himself up down teasing my already swollen sex. Finally I felt him bury himself inside me.

"Fuck." He hissed, "You're so tight and wet for me."

The thrusts were slow and deep. He licked and nibbled up my neck then shoved his tongue into my mouth. There was a delicious heat building and it was only a matter of time before I fell over the edge again.

"I love fucking you so much." He gasped between thrusts. He moved his hand down to my clit and started rubbing circles agonizingly slow.

"I know your close baby. Cum with me. Make a mess on my dick."

And just like that I screamed and the dam burst soaking the bed once again. Paul started slamming into me so fast I felt another one coming. The sound of skin slapping together was all that could be heard and I fell over edge again.

"Fuck yes." He groaned before he finished. We laid there with him on top of me for a while before he got up. I heard the bath start and a couple of minutes later he came and scooped me up. The bath was big enough for us both to fit comfortably so we sat facing each other. He took my foot in his hands and started massaging. I let my head fall back and rest against the wall.

My favorite days were the ones like this where I get to just relax and spend quality time with Paul. He was my safe place in this crazy world. It's hard to believe he's mine sometimes. Four years ago I never would have l thought I would be here with him. I felt him staring and opened my eyes, "What?"

"You're so gorgeous." He tugged me to him so I was straddling his lap and kissed me. I started to deepen the kiss and he pulled away, "As much as I want to fuck you again I need to feed you and if we start we won't leave this bathtub for a while."

I pouted and he laughed then turned me around, grabbed my shampoo, and started to wash my hair. I moaned at the feel of his fingers on my scalp and leaned back into him.

After our bath I dressed in a spandex navy blue matching set. I walked downstairs and Paul was in the kitchen finishing up breakfast. Taking a seat at the island I grabbed my phone and checked it. I had a couple of messages from my friends and one from my dad. I quickly replied to them. Paul put my plate down then took a seat next to me.

"Do we have any plans today?" I asked, nibbling on a piece of bacon.

"I hadn't thought of anything, maybe we cou-" Paul started but was interrupted by Quil walking through the door.

"You guys are coming out with us tonight. Jared and Kim are coming and all of us can stay at the girls place."

"Hell yeah I need a night out!" I whooped and Paul rolled his eyes then kissed me.

I ran upstairs and packed for both of us. We all wanted to hang out and chill before tonight. Paul came upstairs and grabbed our overnight bags to load in the car. Jared and Kim were going to ride with us to PA so we decided to take Paul's truck.

"Kim no you are not wearing that!" Katie yelled.

"Why?"

"Because you're smokin' hot. You're borrowing something from one of us."

We were all trying to figure out what we were going to wear tonight. Kim only brought jeans and a t-shirt which was apparently unacceptable to Katie. I decided on black leather corset halter top with a matching skirt and boots. Angela came and sat beside me on the bed, "I miss you B. I feel like we haven't hung out as much."

"I know Ang. I miss you too." I pulled her into a hug. Angela and I were always together in college. I would go to Austin or she would come up to Norman. We've both been so busy so we haven't been able to hang out like we used to. We decided to go get some lunch and talk just to ourselves. We walked to a tap room around the corner from their place. After ordering our pizza and beers we found a table outside.

"So how are things with Paul?"

"We're really good. He wants me to move in with him."

Angela squealed and a couple of people looked at us. I laughed at her and shook my head. We talked about her job. Angela majored in nursing and she was working at a pediatric clinic. She absolutely loved her job.

"What about you and Quil?" I smirked at her as I asked my question.

"I'm in love with him. I love PA but it's getting harder to be away from him. He runs here almost everyday."

"Yeah I get that. I thought about moving here with you guys but I don't think I can be that far from Paul especially with my marks." I stated.

We chatted some more as we ate and drank our beers. Soon we closed out the check and made our way back to the condo to get ready.

"Holy shit Kim. You look hot." I exclaimed. Katie dressed her in a matching white tube top and mini skirt set that looked amazing against her russet skin.

She blushed and said, "You don't think it's too much?"

"Hell no! Jared is gonna love it." Jessica chimed in and I nodded my head in agreement.

After all of us were ready we walked into the kitchen where the guys were hanging out. Paul had on black jeans, a tight black shirt that showed off his muscles, and a pair of black boots. He looked mouthwatering.

"I wanna skip tonight now." He said, kissing my neck.

"No sir. I spent too much time getting ready." I pushed him away and smacked his chest. Pretty soon all of us were piling into cars and headed to the bar. Paul kept drawing circles on my thigh while he was driving. I started talking to Kim to distract myself.

"Kim, you look beautiful tonight. I'm so glad Katie talked you into wearing something different."

"Thank you Bella. You guys are really fun to hang out with, I don't have very any friends besides Emily so it's nice to hang out with your group." She said shyly.

"Well you have us now. You should come to one of our girls' weekends they're always a lot of fun."

"You know what, I'll take you up on that. Thank you for inviting me." She smiled and I felt Paul squeeze my thigh in gratitude. He and Jared have been bestfriends since they were kids so it meant a lot to him for Kim and I to have a good relationship.

We skipped the line because of Katie once again much to Embry's dismay. It was pretty packed but with guys as big as the ones we were with everyone just parted and let us through. Everyone got drinks and we all mingled. Like That by Mariah Carey came on and I pulled Angela and Kim on the floor to dance.

"Come on Kimmy, loosen up! Have some fun!" I shook her a little and she laughed. A waitress walked by with a tray of shots and I grabbed three, "Here take this. It'll help!"

Kim tossed it back and it seemed to calm her nerves. We all were cutting up and genuinely having a good time. The song changed and the rest of the girls joined us.

Katie and I started dancing together. I had my arms around her neck and she slithered down my body and back up. I could feel Paul's eyes burning into my back. Catching his eye across the bar I winked at him and grinded into Katie. Laughing I turned and tripped. I felt cold hands catch me and froze. I looked up to see that last person I ever expected to run into at a bar.

"Jasper?"
