Then the warriors appeared alongside Sub-Zero and Scorpion in the lines until Shang Tsung appeared.
Shang Tsung began his announcement.
"Welcome, you're here to compete in Mortal Kombat. Tomorrow morning the great kombats begin. Some of you will even have the distinct honor and pleasure to face Prince Goro, regaining champion. We're all witnesses to one the greatest turning points in the history of your planet. Treasure these moments as if they were your past. And now for a taste of things to come."
After the announcement, he gave one of the warriors, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion a nod with a signal before starting the show. One of them knocked the table down and started to fight.
Sub-Zero and the warrior began their fight while Usagi and the others had to stand there and watch. Within a few seconds, Sub-Zero easily defeated the warrior as he used his magic to freeze him to death. After that, the warrior's head landed in front of Shang Tsung's foot.
The sorcerer let out an evil smirk. "Flawless victory."
