There is a shop down a street that was once known as Knockturn Alley many, many years ago. The sign above tells passersby that the shop is called 'The Coffin House', owned by 'Eddie & Lethe'. Below, another sign, old and worn, will indicate that it has been here 'since 1504'. The window will display the same coffin and the same skeleton it has always displayed. If observed from the corner of one's eyes, the skeleton might even move.

A bell above the door will chime softly upon entering the dimly lit shop. Black and crimson candles bathe the room in a green light. The shelves to both sides house the same items they always have, no matter how many customers pass through to purchase something – odd tools that can be found nowhere else, vials filled with strange liquids, skulls and bones of various species and what appears to be preserved organs. Perhaps the titles of the books on the shelf next to the counter have changed with time, though hardly anyone ever notices – they all look the same, after all, old and leather-bound.

It does not matter which year it is, The Coffin House will always, without a doubt, remain exactly the same.

Behind the counter, the proprietor will welcome anyone who enters with the same smile they greet all customers with and the words, "Welcome. How may we be of assistance?"
